Legal Issues Over The Separate Commercial Contracts
In the scenario which has been presented the legal issues that have arisen relate to three separate
commercial contracts which have been entered into. Different legal issues have affected each
contract but on the whole there are three main elements which can be identified, these being, of
breach of contract, frustration of contract and a failure with regard to the perfect tender rule,
mitigated by substantial performance. Each contract will be considered separately using legislation
and relevant case law to come to a determination as to what remedies are available in relation to
each of the contracts in question. After considering each contract a conclusion will be drawn as to
the legal position regarding each of the contracts... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the Act also provides that where a party has incurred expenses before the time of
discharge for the purpose of performing their obligations under the contract, and if it is just to do
so that party may be entitled to retain the whole or part of the amount paid provided that this does
amount not exceed any expenses that were incurred. Martha, an events planner has entered into a
contract with the owner of a venue Lafreau estate where it was her intention to stage a ball. An
important element of the contract involved the hire of a large tent and the tropical gardens where it
was intended to install the tent as a venue for the ball dinner. However, heavy rainfall leading up to
the event has rendered the garden waterlogged resulting in the ground becoming incapable of
supporting the tent. The venue owners, therefore, have inform ed Martha of the situation implying
that they will be unable to perform their obligation to supply the tent or the hire of the garden. An
anticipatory breach such as this entitles the innocent party to sue immediately or to await
performance. It appears from the facts that the estate owners have received a

Research Paper On Vita Futura
Vita Futura We proudly welcome you to our town, Vita Futura. Vita Futura, which means Future
Life in Italian, is a municipality located in northern San Marino. With a population of 16,000, Vita
Futura is developed in an area formerly known as Serravalle, and located on the Italian peninsula
along the northeastern edge of the Apennine Mountains (43.97В°N, 12.48В°E). This microstate is
an enclave of Italy. The average temperature in this area is around 13.8, or 56.18℉.
Even though San Marino is known as the oldest independent constitutional republic in the world,
Vita Futura didn t come to be until the year 2120, when engineers who decided to make
revolutionary advancements before it was too late finally were able to present their finished
product.Throughout the 21st century, the world has stumbled upon several problems, including
trash disposal food waste starvation of third world countries climate change
They were able to solve these with a tripartite system. This futuristic city, though it may look like

expenses that we come across include motor replacement every 320 trips ($200 per motor),

Gina s First Eight Years Case Study
There is no denying that Gina s first eight years in life were not ideal, but she has made
tremendous strides since joining us in 1976. She integrated into our family and friends, worked
hard in school and enjoyed the beauty of Europe. Additionally she kept her grades high enough to
meet our car insurance grade requirements and drove her little Chevy from 16 on while
maintaining a job with no tickets or accidents. Gina chose to join Kent on his temporary duty to
California rather than go to college immediately; I believe she wanted to locate her birth mother in
California. After they had returned from California, they married, bought a beautiful new home and
a Mitsubishi 3000 and later a Camaro. Gina pursued and completed a BS at

Clinical Performance, Evaluation And Clinical Risk Essay
Decrease the Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) via applying quality of knowledge
programme about hand hygiene (HH) between health care workers (HCWs). Project Aim:
Decrease HAIs within 50% at ABC Hospital in Post operative care unit by raising the HH
obedience rate in six months. Which is targeted to raise the basic knowledge about HAIs and the
process of using proper HH correct methods and procedure to reduce the HAIS by healthcare

Unit 4: Marketing Principles
Section 4: Understand and use the marketing mix in different contexts * Plan marketing mixes for
two different segments in the consumer markets
To enable an explanation of the use of marketing mixes for two segments in the consumer market,
it is intended to use a food product which is entering a competitive UK market. In this case, it is
intended to concentrate on two diverse products: 1. Low salt and fat cheddar (blocks) 2. Handy
sealed multi packs each containing 5 long thin strips of cheddar
The benefits and drawbacks attached to cheese consumption must be known to enable the marketers
to develop a strategy:
1. Nutrition
2. Cavity Prevention
3. Cancer Prevention
4. Weight maintenance ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Price Whilst the company will wish to match its price to its marketing objectives; as a new product
entering an established market it may be tempting to price at a comparable level to other cheeses.
Factoring in production costs, target market, customer demand and life cycle, the pricing is a
matter of balance. A strong promotional push will encourage a consideration to employ penetration
pricing by entering the market at a relatively low price to gain a high market share.
Promotion Promotion should be mainly above the line with television advertising aimed at the
target segment. Advertising for the grey pound could be specific in late morning and early
afternoon slot relating to healthy activities such as home improvement, cooking and gardening
whilst the young professional could be targeted during the earliest sections of breakfast shows and
prime time in the evenings. Below the line advertising should include magazines which have been
identified as being the preserve of the segments. Strong lines of communication must be developed
with the retailer in readiness for promotional events

Symbolism In King Lear
Camile Kaye Agbigay
January 9, 2016
Lit Device #11
King Lear/William Shakespeare
Motif: A motif can distinguish as an image, action, sound, or other figures that possess a
significant symbol and contributes to the development of a theme. A motif is a recurrent idea,
symbol, or image that develops or explains a theme in a literary work (literarydevices).
Example:
GLOUCESTER
He that will think to live till he be old, Give me some help! [As Servants hold the chair, Cornwall
forces out one of Gloucester s eyes.]
O cruel! O you god!
REGAN
One side will mock another. Th other too (3. 7. 83 86)

Regan orders to puts out Gloucester s another eye because one eye can still work.
Goneril, one of King Lear s daughters, discovers that her sister, Regan, has a sexual desire for
Edmund; therefore, Goneril poisons her own sister. However, once Edmund the Bastard is mortally
wounded, Goneril kills herself and confesses that she poisoned Regan.
Concept and Analysis: The motif of violence is evident in King Lear such as when Cornwall
puts out Gloucester s eyes, and Goneril poisons her own sister and eventually kills herself. As
Cornwall s servants captures Gloucester, Cornwall injures and punishes Gloucester as he thinks
that Gloucester is a traitor. Gloucester seeks for help from the servants saying Give me some
help! [As Servants hold the chair, Cornwall forces out one of Gloucester s eyes.] O cruel! O you
god! (3. 7. 83 85). This reveals a motif of violence because it displays a violent act as the servant
keeps hold of Gloucester while Cornwall disgustingly and violently puts out Gloucester s one eye.
In addition, Regan is not satisfied with only one eye wounded; therefore, she states One side will
mock another. Th other too (3. 7. 86), revealing the motif or recurring image of violence because
Regan s order intensifies the violence that they are doing to Gloucester. Furthermore, in the final
act, one of the

Child Atrocities
GONE are the days when children were considered as gifts from God and women were revered as
mothers and sisters. Now girl children have sadly become lucrative business options for many in
India s most literate state.
The alarming rise in the number of child rape cases is a pointer in that direction. Children as young
as 4 years are being raped and brutally killed and the convicts walk free for want of evidence or
exploiting the shoddy rape laws.
As many as 174 cases of rape of the minor girls were registered with the police during the six
month period from January to June 2011, according to figures released by the state police. The
number is very high compared to last few years. The number during the 12 month period in 2010

Meanwhile, Addl DCP (Central) Aslam Khan said, The eight girls were rescued by Rescue

clearly how young girls in and around Darjeeling used to go missing. Many of them who lived in

Toxocariasis Research Paper
Toxocariasis is one of the most unappreciated parasitic diseases in which millions of people in
the United States are exposed to unknowingly on a daily basis. The disease is caused by
accidental transmission of roundworms from the GI tract of canines and felines, Toxocara cani
and Toxocara cati, to humans with children being the most likely to become infected causing
blindness, organ failure, and even death. Often, the people who at the greatest risk are children
who become infected by playing in parks, sandboxes, and in their own household particularly if
their family owns a cat or dog (Lee, Moore, Bottazzi, Hotez). A large national sample among
people ≥6 years of age conducted in 1988 through 1994 revealed that 14% had Toxocara
antibodies,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One observational study of more than 100 children with visceral or ocular toxocariasis, and treated
with a variety of either mebendazole or albendazole regimens, showed that most treated children
had a decrease in Toxocara antibodies and improvement of symptoms, but no conclusions could be
drawn about optimal regimen (Woodhall, Fiore). However, using Albendazole or Mebendazole
causes killing of the parasite which causes a secondary reaction of severe inflammation. A
secondary treatment of corticosteroids is usually followed to target severe allergic reactions of anti
inflammatory properties due to the body s strong autoimmune response to the parasite
(Despommier). An alternative treatment, diethylcarbamazine, is available in many countries
around the world, but since the drug has been shown to have greater negative effects, treatment is
currently unavailable in the United States (Woodhall, Fiore). Progress for a cure remains slow due
to the low numbers of infected patients and the late diagnosis of the disease in which many cases it
past the point of effective medical treatment to save the patient from permanent damage. The best
current treatment for toxocariasis is prevention by keeping updated on pets vaccinations and
following proper hygiene protocols especially for children in public

Examples Of Integrity In Goodnight And Goodluck
After watching the movie Goodnight and Goodluck directed by George Clooney I think the most
important aspect for present day communicators to carry into their work is integrity. I think
integrity is important because it is a value that shows your character and personality. During the
movie Murrow developed his character by consistently being honest with others and himself.
Edward Murrow shows integrity quite often. For example, when McCathy starts making false
accusations, Murrow stands up in front of the camera and defends himself by stating facts to prove
his innocence. McCarthy claimed that Murrow had ties to communism saying that he was on the
soviet pay role in 1932 and that he is a card carrying member for the international industrial

Personal Narrative-Skin Infection
It was the summer before sixth grade, I was ten years old. It was late at night, around 11 o clock,
when we were leaving our friends rented camp. The sky was black, no stars, no moon. We didn t
have to go very far, just down the lake where our camp was.
The water was warm on my feet as I walked through the water to get in the boat. It was a pretty
old boat, my grandfather s, but it worked just fine to get us around the lake. I was wearing a
sweatshirt under my life jacket because I remember that it s usually cold on the ride back, the wind
blowing against your skin and through your hair.

that Jake is very passionate about, chasing minnows (or small sunfish) along the shallow water.
It s a riot. He will see a minnow and be super fascinated by it, sometimes he will even try to
pounce on them like a cat. He isn t alway successful with catching the little fish but enjoys the

Presidential Election Vs. Presidential Elections
As we approach the final day of the US election, polls show vantage for Clinton, the
representative of the democrat party over Trump, the representative of the republic party so far.
FiveThirtyEight, Nate Silver s predictions and polling data for the 2016 presidential election
between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, tells, 49.2% of the popular vote goes for Clinton and
44.5% of the popular vote goes for Trump. These popular votes conducted in November 2, 2016.
Clinton and Trump are the only candidates who remained in the race in the final stages representing
their parties after the other candidates lost chances in competition. They have completed all the
three presidential electiondebates and they are about 1 week away from the final day of the US
election. There are few states remained undecided about the future president. The undecided and
changing states are the ones which will determine the wining candidate in the final day of the
elections. My prediction for the US election result is that Clinton is going to win the race. The
factors shape the election results are the campaign events, tactics and the media influence. In this
paper, I am going to discuss how these two factors are contributing in Clinton campaign then I
will propose a strategy for Trump to help him wining the race. Both candidates had different

Institutions Of Higher Learning. An Institution Of Higher
Institutions of higher learning
An institution of higher learning is defined as a place that offers undergraduate and graduate degree
programs (Barrow, Brock, Rouse, 2013). In the United States they date back to before the American
Revolution, and have continually adapted to meet the needs of learners (Barrow, Brock, Rouse,
2013). For example, institutions of higher learning are always incorporating new programs and
working towards creating a quality learning environment. In the 21st century institutions of higher
learning have moved in the direction of making a higher education more available and now have the
ability to reach local learners and learners on the other side of the world (Alexey, 2016).

of England, they were the first institution of higher learning to have full time faculty. Harvard
University maintained a small amount of faculty that were well known for their knowledge, and
by 1782 added medical studies (Harvard University, 2016). Harvard University is also well known
for buildings originally built in the 18th century that are still standing. For example, Massachusetts
Hall, built in 1720 and Wadsworth House build in 1726 (Harvard University, 2016). Buildings built
during the 17th century that did not survive and have their original locations marked with brass

Understanding Elements of a Crime
Terrorists and terrorism
Q1. Describe the importance of knowing the elements of a crime before an investigator decides on
an investigative plan.
It is important to know all of the elements of the crime to determine the specific goals of the
investigation: whether it is fact finding in nature; designed to bring about a criminal prosecution, or
has another specific objective.
Q2. What is the importance of resources as it relates to an investigative plan?
Resources are inevitably scarce for any investigation. An investigator must make a compelling
case to a prosecutor that his or her case is worthy of the resources that will be expended upon it
and worthy of the resources it will divert from other projects.
Q3. How can the community assist government agencies in terrorism investigations?
Human sources are often the most critical components of any investigation. Sometimes people will
cooperate to avoid prosecution themselves; others do so out of altruism. Community members can
provide direct evidence; information about general sentiment about a particular issue; or about
practical aspects of the investigation, such as observations of suspicious activities.
Q4. What is the importance of culture as it relates to the handling of terrorism informants?
Investigators must be aware of inter community tensions. The word Muslim, for example, is a very
broad term for a variety of professions of Islam. Shiite members of a community may inform upon
Sunni members because of the

Ethics And Morality In Dao s Death
Dao is about balance and harmony. It s about avoiding the extremes. There would have to have
been Daoist assassins, according to the rules set by the Dao, if there were no assassins, then the
Dao would be unbalanced. Since Dao is about balance and harmony, one cannot exist without the
other. If there are life givers, then there would have to be life takers. Daoism teaches that the
universeis a balance of opposites: male and female, light and dark, low and high. In each case,
opposing forces should be in harmony. However, the problem arises, who would give the
commands to kill? Would it be random?
The Zhuangzi, expresses the idea of people being inherently karmically evil, [1] so it would be
very easy for a human to become corrupt, even the purest emperor. Based on this idea we would
have to believe that the people chosen to be assassinated couldn t be decided by a human. Then
who, or would it be more of a what; what would deciding factor? The question of morality and
ethics comes into play. Morality and ethics are philosophical words or names. Would an assassin
be restricted by ethics and morality? Or would they be exempt? The Daoist concerns of humanity
that ethics and morality supposedly cover would already be dealt with ... Show more content on

Minority Populations
Throughout Austin s history, minority populations were isolated through political acts such as A
City Plan in 1928, which wanted to make Austin beautiful so that involved removing minorities
from the area surrounding the capital. In addition, schools for minorities were restricted to just the
East side to force minority populations to move there. By the 1990 s, Austinwas branded with the
title Live MusicCapital of the World. This title gave rise to an economic and social boost to
Austin, but by doing so, it diluted the native culture into a hipster culture. In 1991, Austin was
awarded the title Live Music Capital of the World due to the fact it has the largest number of
music venues for population. According to Baker s article, Austin has 1 music venue for 4,125

Tennessee Vs Garner
What citizen can defend himself in court if they are shot dead by a law enforcement officer
even before apprehension? The case of Tennessee v. Garner 471 U.S. 1 (1985) is a highly
significant case in our nation s criminal justice history. This case establishes a current day
guideline for how a citizen s Fourth Amendment rights and a law enforcement officer s pursuit of
a suspect may legally intersect. By interpreting the word seizure under the Fourth Amendment of
the Bill of Rights to include the seizing of the defendant s life. Tennessee v. Garner established
that the use of deadly force might only become applied by law enforcement in instances where the

Garner 471 U.S. 1 (1985) that under the Fourth Amendment a Police Officer could not legally

a violent crime, was a danger to the community, or a threat to the officer would the officer have
the authority to utilize deadly force to stop the suspect. The United States Supreme Court further
decided that the Tennessee statute was invalid in regards to giving Officer Hymon authorization to

the Tennessee statute originated from a time when many more crimes were punishable by death

stating firmly, as it does, that only in instances where an officer has probable cause to believe a

Charge Of The Light Brigade Comparison Essay
COMPARE AND CONTRAST THE ATTIDUES TOO WAR IN TWO OF THE POEMS YOU

Poem Dulce et decorum est written by Wilfred Owen tells us about gas attack and deaths of
soldiers. Poem The Charge of the Light Brigade written by Alfred Tennyson tells us about battle of

many soldiers died. These poems both about one aspect of the war however they show the war
other way round.
The poem Dulce et decorum est shows that war is extremely violent and scary. We can tell this after

Colin s Foreclosure Case
Next, Colin serves as an example of identity foreclosure and the impact early maturation can
have on individuals. According to Marcia s theory of development, identity foreclosure occurs
when an individual lives a life that was chosen for them, specifically by a parent or guardian,
instead of making their own decisions. In Colin s case, this can be seen by the fact that his father
forced him to start playing basketball because he himself played basketball when he was younger.
Instead of going against his father s wishes, Colin simply accepted the fate that was laid out for

Relatively speaking, an imaginary audience is one s personal belief that their peers are more
interested in and judgmental of an individual than they really are. Specifically, Hannah felt that
everyone in school would think she was weak and ask what was wrong, but in reality, the only
ones who really cared were her friends and even then, they didn t think she was weak but were
rather genuinely concerned for her well being. Finally, Hannah also serves as an example of
Gilligan s thoughts about female self esteem during adolescence. Generally speaking, Gilligan
argued that female self esteem drops drastically during adolescence and as a result, females often
doubt themselves more while also experiencing higher levels of depression and body
dissatisfaction. In Hannah, this can be seen during the beginnings of her relationship with Mitch,
the popular jock, in which she is in such utter disbelief that Mitch is even interested in her let alone

Slavery In Venezuela
Venezuela s economic development began long ago when Christopher Columbus discovered it
on one of his voyages to the new world. The development started with the colonial experience led
by the Spanish. In the 1500s word had spread that there were pearls and rare precious metals to be
found in Venezuela. With the newly found pearls, the Spanish colonizers started developing
extractive policies to harvest these pearls and metals to the point where new ways and resources
had to be found. In the 1520 s, instead of extracting resources and treasures from Venezuela, the
Spanish began extracting their native people, taking the people for slavery. The slaves that were
extracted from Venezuela were used to supply the growing need for labor in the Caribbean... Show

He suggested to de conglomerate their insurance company to three single line business consisting
of Life Insurance, Property Casualty and Mortgage insurance. The financial crisis showed us the
iconic and near failure of AIG. Had it not been for the bailout from the Federal Reserve, AIG
would have met the fate of Lehman. It took AIG half a decade to stabilize their share value which
had taken a hit. A separation at this point will turn AIG and its division into rubble.
Introduction :
AIG, one of the biggest insurance company was always considered to be way too much important
for the economy too big to fail by everyone which is why the Federal Government had to use their
bazooka for the bailout. What led the near collapse of AIG is the large amount of Credit default
swaps that they were dealing with. The loan that consumer had taken under mortgage backed
security had defaulted. Absence of stringent regulations majorly led AIG to accumulate huge
amount of assets in the form of real estate. In due course of time the real estate was termed as toxic
which was the major reason that led to the start of economic meltdown . Is AIG really too big to
fail or it is a misconception prevalent in places. Carl

Taking a Look at Chick-Fill-A
Which came first: the chicken sandwich or the egg sandwich? The world may never know.
However, the world does know the chicken sandwich easily trumps an embryonic hoagie. The
hard working Samuel Truett Cathy rose from the ashes of the Great Depression and established
his own ideas of modern chicken consumption. In 1946, Cathy constructed a small restaurant, the
Dwarf Grill, which was named after how miniscule the space was. Four tables and ten stools
later, Cathy desired an expansion and to revolutionize the world of accelerated dining. He
yearned for a poultry meal that was as elegant as a beef filet (hence the name Chick Fillet ,
however, neither time consuming to craft, nor expensive to purchase (Starrs). The owners of
Goode Brothers Poultry, a business in Atlanta, Jim and Hall Goode, were approached by an
airline to design a boneless, skinless chicken breast that would fit in the plastic trays they used to
serve meals on planes. After accomplishing such an innovating tax, the Goode s had remaining
pieces of chicken; that is where Samuel Truett Cathy enters in this poultry fairytale. Cathy s Dwarf
Grill neither excelled nor failed, though, it enabled Cathy to further his ambition, essentially a
springboard to success. However, the business itself lacked potential to grow. The Goode s
approached Cathy to develop some sort of innovative method with the left over chicken. Having
previously toyed with idea of chicken already, Cathy undoubtedly took the challenge. The

Analysis Of The Film Sing Street
Finding fulfillment in life requires people to truly understand their reality and is only achieved
through an effort to grow out of one s comfort zone. This idea is explored in the film Sing Street,
directed by Jim Carney. The film follows the journey of Conor Lawlor, a shy schoolboy who gets
moved from a private school into a strict Catholic school due to his parent s financial situation. At
Syng Street he is bullied by another student and his principle. A turning point occurs when he falls
in lovewith a mysterious girl. After a desperate attempt to gain her phone number, he starts a band
with a group of outcasts from his school. Throughout the film, Carney suggests the idea that to
fulfill one s happiness, a person needs to make an effort to take a riskand push beyond their comfort
zone, and while doing so they also need to gain a sense of confidence in their identity. It is
necessary to grow beyond hindering beliefs to achieve a new perspective on life to lead to
happiness. In the beginning, Carney demonstrates that a person who is anchored by demotivating
beliefs can ultimately compromise their happiness. This is seen in the establishing shot where
Conor is in his room and his parents can be overheard arguing about their mortgage and their
distaste for each other. Conor is unable to focus on his romantic lyrics instead he sings their
conversation out loud. This scene reveals that Conor is negatively impacted because the only topic
that is on his mind is the issue of

The Small Claims Procedure Essay
The Small Claims Procedure
The small claims procedure is regulated by RSA 503 in 1973. It is a simple, speedy, and informal
method by which an individual appears before a judge of the district or municipal court, presents
his or her claim, and explains why another person or business owes money to him or her. Small
Claims Court can award up to $5000 in damages (larger claims can be heard, but the maximum that
can be awarded is $5000).
Although not required in Small Claims Court, any persons or businesses involved in the
proceedings may be represented by a lawyer if they wish. Another aspect of a small claims
proceeding is that a judge may ask to hear any evidence deemed relevant and proper, since ... Show

The system is still largely used by small businesses chasing debtors, rather than by the individual
consumer for whom it was set up. A consultation paper was issued in 1995 suggesting that, in
limited cases; the judge might be given the power to award an additional sum of up to ВЈ135 to
cover the cost of legal advice and assistance in the preparation of the case. I think this idea would
really be useful for claimants, and this would give a huge encouragement to the claimants to come
to the court. Especially for those who cannot actually afford to hire their own lawyer.
Either party may have a lawyer to represent him or her, but this is discouraged by the fact that the
winning party cannot claim back the cost of using a lawyer form the other party, but will have to
pay his own legal expenses. Instead of having a lawyer, the claimant or the defendant may have a
lay representative , that is, a non legally qualified person, with him or her at the hearing to help to
put the case.
The system is meant to be quick, but there can still be delays. Although the intention is that the
case should only go to court once, there may be several hearings because one of the parties is not
ready; for example, they have

Criminals Do not Obey Gun Control Laws
In America, the average amount of people shot per year is 100,000; over ten thousand defenseless
people are murdered. The Second Amendment s proclamation that A well regulated Militia, being
necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be
infringed has been an extensive topic of debate. Moreover, the amendment has been one of many
debates over the several years throughout America. The discussion of gun control is often debated
as to whether or not it is morally right to legally bypass the Second Amendment to avoid unlawful
uses of arms. The Second Amendment allows citizens to carry firearms specifically for protection,
gun control hinders that right and places civilians lives in danger. In short, the U.S. government s
intrusive restrictions on gun laws prevent law abiding citizens from defending themselves with
firearms.
The effects of gun control should abide with the Second Amendment. Although true, the Second
Amendment is not an unlimited right to own guns. Notwithstanding, the Second Amendment
allows the freedom to bear arms. The Second Amendment has never been interpreted as giving only
states the right to peaceably assemble. Moreover, the Court did not address whether the Second
Amendment applies to state and local governments. Even though the government chose to limit the
rights of the people, the Second

Taylor Swift Figurative Language
Almost everything in life can be viewed by different perspectives and almost everything is
interpreted
in a multitude of ways. This also applies to love and relationships. Love is so expansive and
intricate that it takes a whole life time to try to explain and feel it. When trying to explain love
some expressed love to be beautiful, miraculous and joyous. However, others portrayed the dark
side of love; the hurt, the harsh reality, and broken hearts. Taylor Swift represented that same
unhappiness that is associated with love in her music. In her song Forever and Always Taylor
Swift exemplified her pain through the lyrics. In the sixth stanza of her song Taylor sang, Oh, I

The Arctic Monkeys song, Do I Wanna Know? uses figurative language terms such as
metaphors, repetition, and personification to express the natural responses to fear of rejection and
the desperation held onto when one wants still to hold onto a love that may or may not be there.
Turner knew one thing for sure; that he was madly in love with this one girl and that he was
willing to go after her by whatever means necessary. Yet again Turner still had some hesitation.
This proved that point that there is always an uncertainty in love because no one is guaranteed
that the person they love feels the same way. It is a natural instinct to want to feel accepted and it
is heartbreaking to find out that the person he loved, did not even accept him. Alex turned to

Epistemological Concerns In Ethnographic Research
The key finding of this review suggest that quality end of life is multifaceted. Dying well is
associated with ensuring that the autonomy of the patient is respected, that the healthcare team has
clear and concise communication to avoid miscommunications and along with flexibility of care.
With regards to this topic, the epistemological concerns are one of true relevance. Epistemology is
defined as justification of knowledge (Carter Little, 2007, p. 1317). Since epistemology inquires
where the foundations that knowledge comes from as well as the assumptions that knowledge is
built upon. Furthermore, it is important to understand where the researcher s knowledge comes
from. Epistemological concerns are important to the key findings of this review since it is to give a
perspective on what gives us knowledge. Within the results that were synthesized it is important to

Instead, the services offered by both parties tend to overlap. The competition commission also
carried out an investigation on the effects the merger had on competition. According to the
commission, in areas where both parties had cinemas, the elimination of one competitor would give
room to increase prices or reduction in the quality of service. Expansion plans by any individual
party would also be affected s a result of the current common ownership of both the business and the

were used to determine the competition that existed between the two parties before the merger, and
also, the competition from other film exhibition service providers. The commission also aimed at
finding out whether the timely entry of a new competitor would have any effect on the market.

Racial Disparities In Criminal Courts
Racial Disparities in Criminal Courts
The earlier criminal courts started to punish those who committed a crime or differentiated from
the norms of society (NACM, 2017). It was a system put in place to keep order. In the 16th
century , if the person was found guilty, it was most likely going to result in a death
sentence(NACM, 2017). Unlike in modern criminal court, the accused was guilty until proven
innocent. The earlier criminal courts followed numerous laws that displayed discrimination until
centuries later, philosophers and policy maker, began to change the laws to try to assure all citizens
rights were protected.
Criminal courts are made, to uphold the rights of citizens to have a fair trial when convicted of crime

It is the duty of the courtroom workgroup to assure that the convicted that step in the court has their

The CDC had no absolute proof yet that the virus was being spread sexually at the time. The bath
house owners made a lot of revenue in areas like San Francisco which made it highly unlikely for
them to listen to the CDC about the public health issues that surrounded their business. Many bath
house owners cared for only themselves and the money they were making, just like blood banks.
The CDC needed definitive proof showing that this is where the majority of the virus was being
spread before the executive director of public health would shut them down. Even the public
health director was worried about jeopardizing his status if he shut these bath houses without
definitive proof that it was being spread there which could take years to prove. Taking more time

had placed politics above the health of the American people. It is easy to put the blame on one

go. He didn t get to say his last goodbye. Sometimes I wonder why him. Why was he chosen to
die? The only option is to believe he s in a better place, and looking down on us. While we are
down here living our life, he ll be up there living his new one. It was July 24, 2015. I m getting
ready to leave to go to the fair to feed my rabbits. I ran out to the garage to get all the things we
need, then ran back inside to grab some other things. My dad was sitting in the front living room,

So I quickly went and checked. The post said We had a bad accident happen today. Joey was on his
way to go get his Ipod from his friends house, and was hit by a truck on the way there. By how it
looks now, he isn t doing good. The doctors think he is brain dead. They said the truck ran him
over and he flew 30 feet from where he was hit. We will keep everyone updated on what happens.
By the time I was to the end I was about to cry. I don t know how I managed to do this, but I
pushed through it and still went to the fair. On the way there Joey is all I could think about. I had
so many questions running through my mind. I thought it would be good to go to the fair and not
think about what happened. But that was almost impossible.
Once I got to the fair I went around to find my one friend. Once I found her I didn t say anything
about what happened. Every couple minutes I kept going on my phone and checking for
updates, but I never saw anything. After a while of going on rides my friend had to go. So I
found my other two friends (Natalie and Keverlyn). Since they didn t like going on rides, we
played games most of the time. We decided to go watch the pig auction at around 5:30. We
watched it until around 6:00 o clock pm. At that time I was still checking my phone for anything
new. All I saw was more and more comments each time. I also saw a Go Fund Me account was
made for Joey. By 8:00 o clock there still was no update. But then I saw it. It

Analysis Of The Crystal Gems Essay
Steven Universe is a TV show on Cartoon Network that centers around a fourteen year old
human gem alien hybrid named Steven and his three gem alien guardians who seek to protect
the earth from their home planet. His mother, Rose Quartz, led a rebellion group called The
Crystal Gems against her home planet to thwart their plans to colonize the Earth. Years later, she
died giving birth to Steven. For a children s show, it has covered many topics, including defying
the gender norm, mental illness, and abusive relationships. The relationship of two characters,
Jasper and Lapis Lazuli, is a sensitive topic of discussion among fans and critics alike. There are
three points of view on the subject. They include that Jasper is the abuser, Lapis is the abuser,
and the relationship was mutually abusive. When considering the characteristics that make a
relationship abusive, and how the relationship is being portrayed in the show, all the evidence
points to Lapis Lazuli as the abuser. On the show, the alien gems practice fusion, which is a
process of combining the forms of two (or more) gems to form a single entity. Fusions are usually
used for combative purposes, but can symbolize many types of relationships ranging to healthy
and unhealthy. While Jasper and Lapis Lazuli s relationship was neither romantic or platonic, their
fusion is heavily implied to represent an abusive relationship. Jasper is a muscular gem soldier
who was born on Earth but fought on her home world s side of

Skeptics Can T Cool Blistering Bitcoin Summary
Skeptics can t cool blistering Bitcoin (DATE), written by Nathaniel Popper of the New York Times
develops an article giving many detail on the state of which bitcoin is at and how skeptics can t
burn out the prices bitcoins are reaching. Cryptocurrencies are encrypted currencies that are
universal, meaning that no matter where in the worldyou are, you can use bitcoin if the store allows
it. Cryptocurrencies prices do change depending on which countries you are but not by much.
All Cryptocurrencies also act as a stock where the price of a currency fluctuates. Normally all
currencies start low and raise in price over time. At one point, Bitcoin used to cost $0.08. If you
were to buy $100 worth of bitcoin at this time, you would have made $17,123,687. Everything
does come with its risks though. People that invest in bitcoin now could lose millions of dollars if

He gives statics and also gives examples of when the skeptics were wrong. Nathaniel Popper
states the goods and bads of Cryptocurrency. He explains that they can be used to buy illegal
drugs off of the Black Market which is good in an Ethos standpoint but he quickly brushes over
this statement. There could possibly be more to this than just drugs. He also gives more examples
of why these currencies are good and not bad. In reality, there are much more things about
cryptocurrencies that could be harmful which is bad for an Ethos standpoint. Many hackers use
bitcoin as a ransom for exchange for stoles files from ones computer. Another problem with bitcoin
is the unstable market. If the market where to crash, many people could lose a lot of money and
companies could go bankrupt. This could cause a chain reaction that was similar to the Black

Class And Gender Analysis
Class and Gender can Change a lot of Things Many centuries prior to the nineteenth one there has
been numerous indications of the severity in horrible treatment of women, men and children. As
one would look into any decent history book, their would be pages on chapters of the treatment of
the civilization in them. Depending on what century one was looking into determined the good or
bad treatment. However some of the most documented treatment would have to be in the nineteenth
century. Thus far in the semester we have discussed numerous cases of men, women and children
being treated with little to no fairness within the Northern Hemisphere. Even though this showed
the people that the world did not owe them anything and they should work hard... Show more

Although what one reads in a history book today seems outrageous, the aspect of the gender and
class roles have not changed as much as much as one would like to think. Al of the sources we
have read has in more ways than one related back into today s social and gender standards.
Women are still more then likely to be the homemakers . Women are also held to the
responsibilities of the children to ensure them getting ready on time, and are respectable in a
group seating. Women are still paid less than men. Men are still recognized as the breadwinners.
Also, class plays a huge outcome in the stance of where you live, how hard you work, and if you
are educated or not. This just reinstates the role of men and women, what they have been and what
they will be for years to come. As much as these sources were put in place to show the live within
the nineteenth century I believe this is a perfect example of history repeating

Analyzing Climate Change
Climate change has become one of the most important issues on the global political agenda. This is
largely due to the fact that the developments that influence climate change also impact the way in
which life is conducted at local, regional, national, and global level.
The present paper aims to analyze climate change from a general perspective with due consideration
for aspects that eventually define climate change as an essential challenge as well as for humanity
in its entirety and for the individual as a single element of society.
The first part of the research provides background information on what climate change is, what are
its most important constituent elements, and what are its implications. Climate change represents
in essence a global challenge that can only be tackled at the global level. This is why it is
important to consider the views and perspectives of global organizations such as the United
Nations, through the United Nations Environment Program among other organisms under the
coordination of the United Nations. Climate change has been at the center of vivid debates in
recent decades particularly because it affects all strata of human life, from food supplies to
education, health, and sustainable development. Its complex impact on human life makes climate
change an all the more important aspect to be taken into account by policy makers, world leaders,
and decision takers around the world.
The second part of the research focuses on the initiatives

Some Things To Be Aware When It Comes To Dealing With The
Some Things To Be Aware When It Comes To Dealing With The Homeless When people think of
being homeless in Las Vegas, images of dirty bums scattered on the streets ravaging for food in
garbage cans and begging for money comes up. The grimness and stench of trash from these
people fills the air and causes everyone to hold their noses because of the outdoor sweaty smells
that normally accompanies them. Of course, not all homeless people are like this because there are
many who keep themselves well groomed. Being homeless technically means the person is without
a home, not that they are necessarily an animal of some sort or even careless or uneducated, they
are just in a current living situation where they are living outside but this does... Show more content

Homeless people who look clean and neat are usually truly homeless and in need of genuine
help because they are taking advantage of programs that want to help them such as Charities
and churches. Some of the dirty homeless people will actually reject help. The drug addicts will
reject a sandwich if offered to them because they want the money instead. Remember the
homeless guy from Scary Movie that said, I said a dollar, bitch! and tossed the sandwich back at
the main character? Some dirty homeless people are really like that. As stated earlier, homeless
people ,of course, are humans, so they have human ways. They could be very picky eaters and
will ask that you buy them certain foods. I knew some homeless people who were vegetarians! I
was one. There are also soup kitchen and food pantries if you need something quick and free to
eat. You can recognize a homeless person based on the clothes they wear. A laborer would
typically wear dirty clothes, which is normal, however, if you see a person who is wearing dirty
clothing with obvious dried up stains that haven t been washed out in months then they might be a
homeless person. Some homeless people don t go to the laundromat for various reasons and
others are always there because of course they want to stay clean and their skin healthy. As stated
earlier, the drug addicts or people with mental disabilities will choose not to wash their clothes, but
real homeless people strive to

Comparing Cliges, Erec And Enide And The Three Couples
Cecilia Rivas Ms. McMillan English 11 March 20, 2017 The comparison of Cliges, Erec and
Enide and the three couples. Alexander, Cliges, and Erec all have beautiful maidens; Enide,
Soredamors, and Fenice. The women have been described to be the most beautiful and virtuous
maidens of the land, all having gorgeous faces with the most perfect features. These men have
never laid their eyes on something more beautiful until they met their loves, whom nature created
so finely. Chretien de Troyes does a great job on describing the beauty and features of each
individual. These three couples have a lot in common, and Chretien knows how to write them.

Alexander described Soredamors as fair and full of charm, so dear and precious. Her well
shaped nose and radiant face, and her laughing mouth which God shaped with great skill.
Soredamors neck beneath her hair was so fair it was four times as white as ivory. Alexander saw
her bosom exposed and whiter than snow. There is so much to say about every part of
Soredamors that it will not be strange if he passed over anything. She had lovely hair, extremely
straight and perfect parting of her hair and eyes. Her hair, parting, forehead, and eyes were so
beautiful they were nevertheless describable. That is not the case when it comes to her nose,
cheek and mouth. Mouth s are described as a direct connection to God s and Nature s creation.
Soredamors states that it is not without significance she is called by the name. She is destined
to love and be loved in return and intends to prove it by her name. The first part of Soredamors
name is in significance of golden color, for she believes golden is the best. The end of her name
calls love to mind, for whoever calls her by her right name always refreshes her with love.
Soredamors has the meaning of one gilded over with love. If his beauty allures my eyes, and my
eyes listen to the call, shall I say that I love him just for that? (p.10, L.21) Soredamors felt as if
that her eyes have betrayed her, she accuses her eyes of treason and succumbs to love. One cannot

what you should look like, stuff like that. Now, have you ever wondered if it s because of the
society that we live in, that Normal is determined by them?
Normal. What do you think when you hear the word normal? Do you visualise civilians walking
around your suburb or do you picture a group of friends having the best of times, laughing as they
sit down on a white chair outside a cafГ©?
What is normal? Well, I personally feel that normal is basically an idealistic portrayal that you see

Time Amendment Pros And Cons Essay
Time limits are a big piece to the puzzle that is the failure of the ERA. It is not very common to
find time restrictions on proposed amendments. Amending the constitution is already a long and
strenuous task to put in motion, and when one is forced to work twice as quickly because of a
deadline, the process gets even more taxing. If an amendment is going to have a deadline, it will
usually be a seven year deadline (Palmer). The inequality that are constitutional deadlines are a
major problem in the ratification process. Deadlines are only placed on amendments to try and
guarantee failure of the amendment. Often times when a time restriction is placed upon a proposed
amendment, it is a gift to the people backing the amendment, letting them know that the people
putting a deadline onto the amendment are fully opposed to their idea (Kops). The problem with
time limits are that if gives states time to run out the window for voting on the amendment. If a
proposed amendment, such as the ERA, has to do with an issue that could cause public uproar, a
time amendment can allow states to simply not vote on the amendment, neither supporting, nor
opposing the amendment. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

southerners to try and undo the proposal of abolishing slavery ( States Rights ). These groups were
also against the Nineteenth Amendment and, before it got into the Constitution, would ban women
from voting. When the ERA was proposed, states rights groups were very outspoken about the
issue and made it clear that they were not going to accept this as an

What Are The Effects Of War In Lord Of The Flies
Mankind has destroyed a large amount its own species and much of the surrounding environment in
a very short space of time. Many novels throughout these past one hundred years explore the
concept of war and its effects on both the environment and civilisation, and also the kind of human
nature that has to come with doing so. William Goldings 1954 novel, Lord of the Flies, was written
just after World War II and Golding himself had witnessed first hand the man against man combat in
WWII. He has managed to demonstrate many different ideas within the novel, such as the darkness
in human nature through the boys slow decent into savagery, and also the human race s impact on
nature and the consequences that has. In this piece of literature, Golding

The Existence of God Essay
The Existence of God
What we call religious experience can differ greatly. Some reports exist of supernatural
happenings that it would be difficult to explain from a rational, scientific point of view. On the
other hand, there also exist the sorts of testimonies that simply seem to convey a feeling or a peace
of oneness something which most of us, religious or not, may possibly relate to.
Firstly, I will consider the nature of an experience. Experience involves encounters which are
empirical (testable via senses). We draw non empirical conclusions about many things and people
that they have orange hair and are 5 feet tall, that they are lonely and confused. These conclusions
are mainly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is known through testimonies of the recipients of these experiences.
In categorising religious experiences is helpful to look at them as explicable through one of two
theories: the objectivist thesis or the subjectivist thesis.
The objectivist view supposes that there is some object or actual entity such as god which exists
independently of the experience, interaction which causes the experience itself. God is described
as numinous. This is a term often used to describe the experience in which God s separateness is
highlighted. This was put forward by Rudolf Otto in his book The Idea of the Holy. Otto religion
sprang from experience of the holly. Because the word numinous has many associations he used
numen, something which is wholly other than the natural world
An objectivist would argue that the religious experience is a proof of God s existence. However,
others have criticised the reliability of religious experiences. The English philosopher Thomas
Hobbes asked how it was possible to tell the differences between talking to God in a dream, and
dreaming about talking to God. The objectivist thesis is ultimately the most traditional viewpoint
since it views God as object that is, something which exists independently of us (such as a table or
another person). However,

The First Thanksgiving Essay example
The First Thanksgiving On September 6, 1620, 102 men, women and children from England
boarded a small cargo boat called the Mayflower and set sail for the New World. The passengers
left their homes in England in search of religious freedom from the King of England. Today they
are known as pilgrims. After braving two months at sea, crossing the stormy Atlantic Ocean, the
Pilgrims finally landed off the coast of the New World. In the freezing December waters, they
anchored the Mayflower and sent a landing party to what is now Plymouth Harbor beach. To
secure the small landing boat against the rain and winds, they tied it to a large rock Plymouth Rock
and so begins the legend of the original Thanksgiving tale.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

When April arrived, the crew of the Mayflower raised its sails and set off for England, offering
to take any Pilgrim who wished to return to England. Faced with the choice of the harsh New
World, or the religious intolerance of the King, they all stayed. One day, a lone Indian man
walked into the settlement. He raised his hand in friendship to the settlers. The Pilgrims
welcomed this stranger named Samoset. Samoset introduced the Pilgrims to his chief, Massasoit,
and his interpreter, Squanto. Squanto spoke English because he had been captured as a boy by
traders who had come to the New World in search of slaves. Squanto was taken to England and
lived there many years before returning to the New World. He alone understood that the Pilgrims
did not know how to hunt or fish that they would die without help in the New World. Squanto and
Chief Massasoit extended their friendship to the Pilgrims. They showed them how to catch fish
with nets and how to grow corn, pumpkins, potatoes and squash foods from the New World. The
Indians showed the Pilgrims where to hunt turkey and deer, and where to gather nuts and berries.
They explained to the Pilgrims that the land was master of those who walked and lived there. The
harvest of 1621 saw the fulfillment of their labors. The Pilgrims had grown barley, corn, pumpkins,
and beans. The settlers labored to gather their bounty; and in thanks for

The Silly Jokes For Kids
FIFTY SILLY JOKES FOR KIDS.
Jokes are simply stories, phrases or sentences that are purely meant to amuse and make people
jovial. Laughter has never failed to light up someone s face and if you ask me, people look more
beautiful and attractive when they are happy. At least I know I do. What better way is there to
charm someone if not by making them laugh? One of the major reasons why kids are usually
drawn to people is because of their abilities to make them happy and keep them laughing all the
way to a happy ending. Trust me; no one can resist a charmer, let alone kids. It is easy to tickle a
child s sense of humor. You just have to have a good jokeand get your silly goofy face on board.
That kid will fall in love with you instantly. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Jokes can also help a child relax when faced with a situation that makes them anxious or afraid. As
stated earlier, when endorphins are released, feelings of anxiety and fear subside leaving the child
more relaxed and calm
Happy mood stimulates happy thoughts. When a child is constantly meditating on happy thoughts,
they become more optimistic about life and therefore you will not have to deal with issues like
stress and irritability.
Jokes help develop a child s sense of humor. Let us face it, a child with no sense of humor will
grow to be an adult with no sense of humor. How will this work out? at the end of the day, a
person s sense of humor is what makes them so unique and gives them an ability to fit into certain
social groups and truth be told, everyone craves to fit in. a well developed sense of humor gives a
child an upper hand.
Humor helps a child to cope in different environments. No matter the place or time, having lighter
moments every now and then can help a child adjust and eventually cope with the changes. Being
able to stay happy and laugh in the middle of unwanted changes is a great way to help a kid learn
how to easily adjust and cope in different environments and circumstances regardless of how
adverse they are.

There are some elements that a joke should not

The Year Of Wonders By Geraldine Brooks
Oppression is defined as, the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust
manner (dictionary.com), and is found all around the world. There is essentially two parts to
oppression: the oppressor, who is demonstrating his power by displaying cruelty towards the
second part of oppression, the oppressed. The oppressed take part in offenses made by the
oppressor, that usually contain a cruel, and unfair burden towards them. The world has
demonstrated this profound relationship since human history first began, not only in their way of
life, but in literature. For example, Geraldine Brooks, displays the oppressors, in her novel The
Year of Wonders, by implicating strong men, and a powerful family; while the oppressed are

Panem is significantly lacking fellowship and liberation while under the oppressive rule of the
Capitol. People are suffering and working endlessly each and every day inside the districts,
while everybody in the Capitol is living a superb and wealthy life. In order for this to change,
Panem needs to reflect on these views, and change their way of life. In the novel, Peeta says,
Only I keep wishing I could think of a way to... to show the Capitol they don t own me. That I m
more than just a piece in their games (Collins 142). He has already reflected the lack of
liberation in Panem, and is now trying to envision a way to fix it. This needs to be the mentality
of everybody in Panem. Cutting out oppression, and increasing fellowship, liberation, and
solidarity, will disembody the life they are living now, and produce an improved way of life for
everybody in Panem. In his novel, Pedagogy of the Oppressed, Paulo Freire also says, It is only
when the oppressed find the oppressor out and become involved in the organized struggle for
liberation that they begin to believe in themselves. This discovery cannot be purely intellectual but
must involve action (Freire). The Secret Life of Bees, by Sue Monk Kidd, is linked to this quote.

strong, and the Jim Crow laws were still intact. Black people were treated unfairly and

Serial Killer
When you hear the words serial killer, you instantly think about people like Jeffrey Dahmer, Ed
Gein, Ted Bundy, or Charles Manson. You don t think about a family man with a wife and two
children, county board member, President of the church congregation council, or a Cub Scout
leader. Dennis Rader possessed all of these shining attributes. He also possessed a dark secret. This
secret had festered in him from an early age and grew as he got older. Dennis Raderhad fantasies
about bondage, control, and torture which eventually led to murder. Rader s reign of terror began in
1977 and ended with his capture in 2005, almost 30 years later. He labeled his victims as projects .
He hunted his prey in stages he described as the trolling stage and stalking stage . He even called
the tools used for his trade his hit kit . Dennis Rader was a stone cold killer who had no plans of
stopping.
The letters BTK stands for Bind, Torture and Kill , which was Rader s mode of operation and a
name he gave to himself. Throughout the years and in numerous communications with the police,
he talked about his need for acknowledgment. In the 1990 s BTK had disappeared from sight when,
without explanation, he re emerged in 2004. This re emergence was more than likely due to his
need for acknowledgment or public attention. In 2004, Rader started sending multiple letters, clues,
and photos to the authorities that led to his capture and arrest in 2005.

Different legal issues have affected each contract but on the whole there are three main elements which can be identified, these being, of breach of contract, frustration of contract and a failure with regard to the perfect tender rule, mitigated by substantial performance. Each contract will be considered separately using legislation and relevant case law to come to a determination as to what remedies are available in relation to each of the contracts in question. Martha, an events planner has entered into a contract with the owner of a venue Lafreau estate where it was her intention to stage a ball. An important element of the contract involved the hire of a large tent and the tropical gardens where it was intended to install the tent as a venue for the ball dinner. However, heavy rainfall leading up to the event has rendered the garden waterlogged resulting in the ground becoming incapable of supporting the tent. The venue owners, therefore, have inform ed Martha of the situation implying that they will be unable to perform their obligation to supply the tent or the hire of the garden. An anticipatory breach such as this entitles the innocent party to sue immediately or to await performance. It appears from the facts that the estate owners have received a ... She integrated into our family and friends, worked hard in school and enjoyed the beauty of Europe. Additionally she kept her grades high enough to meet our car insurance grade requirements and drove her little Chevy from 16 on while maintaining a job with no tickets or accidents. Gina chose to join Kent on his temporary duty to California rather than go to college immediately; I believe she wanted to locate her birth mother in California. • 7. Symbolism In King Lear Camile Kaye Agbigay January 9, 2016 Lit Device #11 King Lear/William Shakespeare Motif: A motif can distinguish as an image, action, sound, or other figures that possess a significant symbol and contributes to the development of a theme. A motif is a recurrent idea, symbol, or image that develops or explains a theme in a literary work (literarydevices). Example: GLOUCESTER He that will think to live till he be old, Give me some help! [As Servants hold the chair, Cornwall forces out one of Gloucester s eyes.] O cruel! O you god! REGAN One side will mock another. Th other too (3. 7. 83 86) GENTLEMAN Tis hot, it smokes! Regan orders to puts out Gloucester s another eye because one eye can still work. Goneril, one of King Lear s daughters, discovers that her sister, Regan, has a sexual desire for Edmund; therefore, Goneril poisons her own sister. However, once Edmund the Bastard is mortally wounded, Goneril kills herself and confesses that she poisoned Regan. Concept and Analysis: The motif of violence is evident in King Lear such as when Cornwall puts out Gloucester s eyes, and Goneril poisons her own sister and eventually kills herself. As Cornwall s servants captures Gloucester, Cornwall injures and punishes Gloucester as he thinks that Gloucester is a traitor. Gloucester seeks for help from the servants saying Give me some help! [As Servants hold the chair, Cornwall forces out one of Gloucester s eyes.] O cruel! O you god! (3. 7. 83 85). This reveals a motif of violence because it displays a violent act as the servant keeps hold of Gloucester while Cornwall disgustingly and violently puts out Gloucester s one eye. In addition, Regan is not satisfied with only one eye wounded; therefore, she states One side will mock another. Th other too (3. 7. 86), revealing the motif or recurring image of violence because Regan s order intensifies the violence that they are doing to Gloucester. Furthermore, in the final act, one of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Now girl children have sadly become lucrative business options for many in India s most literate state. The alarming rise in the number of child rape cases is a pointer in that direction. Children as young as 4 years are being raped and brutally killed and the convicts walk free for want of evidence or exploiting the shoddy rape laws. As many as 174 cases of rape of the minor girls were registered with the police during the six month period from January to June 2011, according to figures released by the state police. The disease is caused by accidental transmission of roundworms from the GI tract of canines and felines, Toxocara cani and Toxocara cati, to humans with children being the most likely to become infected causing blindness, organ failure, and even death. Often, the people who at the greatest risk are children who become infected by playing in parks, sandboxes, and in their own household particularly if their family owns a cat or dog (Lee, Moore, Bottazzi, Hotez). One observational study of more than 100 children with visceral or ocular toxocariasis, and treated with a variety of either mebendazole or albendazole regimens, showed that most treated children had a decrease in Toxocara antibodies and improvement of symptoms, but no conclusions could be drawn about optimal regimen (Woodhall, Fiore). However, using Albendazole or Mebendazole causes killing of the parasite which causes a secondary reaction of severe inflammation. A secondary treatment of corticosteroids is usually followed to target severe allergic reactions of anti inflammatory properties due to the body s strong autoimmune response to the parasite (Despommier). An alternative treatment, diethylcarbamazine, is available in many countries around the world, but since the drug has been shown to have greater negative effects, treatment is currently unavailable in the United States (Woodhall, Fiore). Progress for a cure remains slow due to the low numbers of infected patients and the late diagnosis of the disease in which many cases it past the point of effective medical treatment to save the patient from permanent damage. The best current treatment for toxocariasis is prevention by keeping updated on pets vaccinations and following proper hygiene protocols especially for children in public ... Examples Of Integrity In Goodnight And Goodluck After watching the movie Goodnight and Goodluck directed by George Clooney I think the most important aspect for present day communicators to carry into their work is integrity. I think integrity is important because it is a value that shows your character and personality. During the movie Murrow developed his character by consistently being honest with others and himself. Edward Murrow shows integrity quite often. For example, when McCathy starts making false accusations, Murrow stands up in front of the camera and defends himself by stating facts to prove his innocence. McCarthy claimed that Murrow had ties to communism saying that he was on the soviet pay role in 1932 and that he is a card carrying member for the international industrial ... The sky was black, no stars, no moon. We didn t have to go very far, just down the lake where our camp was. The water was warm on my feet as I walked through the water to get in the boat. It was a pretty old boat, my grandfather s, but it worked just fine to get us around the lake. I was wearing a sweatshirt under my life jacket because I remember that it s usually cold on the ride back, the wind blowing against your skin and through your hair. We loaded our one year old dog, Jake, in the boat before my father pushed us out into deeper water. Our friends said their goodbyes and Jon said to be careful, ... But if Jake is laying there and he sees a minnow swim by, he s up and ready to find out where it s going. That s another thing that Jake is very passionate about, chasing minnows (or small sunfish) along the shallow water. It s a riot. He will see a minnow and be super fascinated by it, sometimes he will even try to pounce on them like a cat. He isn t alway successful with catching the little fish but enjoys the chase. Talking about Jake diving for rocks and chasing the minnows along the beach makes him sound pretty energetic and full of life but it s quite the opposite. Jake would like nothing more in life than to just lay out in the sun all day catching some Z s and be surrounded by people willing to give him all their attention. • 12. Presidential Election Vs. Presidential Elections As we approach the final day of the US election, polls show vantage for Clinton, the representative of the democrat party over Trump, the representative of the republic party so far. FiveThirtyEight, Nate Silver s predictions and polling data for the 2016 presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, tells, 49.2% of the popular vote goes for Clinton and 44.5% of the popular vote goes for Trump. These popular votes conducted in November 2, 2016. Clinton and Trump are the only candidates who remained in the race in the final stages representing their parties after the other candidates lost chances in competition. They have completed all the three presidential electiondebates and they are about 1 week away from the final day of the US election. There are few states remained undecided about the future president. The undecided and changing states are the ones which will determine the wining candidate in the final day of the elections. My prediction for the US election result is that Clinton is going to win the race. The factors shape the election results are the campaign events, tactics and the media influence. In this paper, I am going to discuss how these two factors are contributing in Clinton campaign then I will propose a strategy for Trump to help him wining the race. • 15. Understanding Elements of a Crime Terrorists and terrorism Q1. Describe the importance of knowing the elements of a crime before an investigator decides on an investigative plan. It is important to know all of the elements of the crime to determine the specific goals of the investigation: whether it is fact finding in nature; designed to bring about a criminal prosecution, or has another specific objective. Q2. What is the importance of resources as it relates to an investigative plan? Resources are inevitably scarce for any investigation. An investigator must make a compelling case to a prosecutor that his or her case is worthy of the resources that will be expended upon it and worthy of the resources it will divert from other projects. Q3. How can the community assist government agencies in terrorism investigations? Human sources are often the most critical components of any investigation. Sometimes people will cooperate to avoid prosecution themselves; others do so out of altruism. Community members can provide direct evidence; information about general sentiment about a particular issue; or about practical aspects of the investigation, such as observations of suspicious activities. Q4. What is the importance of culture as it relates to the handling of terrorism informants? Investigators must be aware of inter community tensions. The word Muslim, for example, is a very broad term for a variety of professions of Islam. Shiite members of a community may inform upon Sunni members because of the ... There would have to have been Daoist assassins, according to the rules set by the Dao, if there were no assassins, then the Dao would be unbalanced. Since Dao is about balance and harmony, one cannot exist without the other. If there are life givers, then there would have to be life takers. Daoism teaches that the universeis a balance of opposites: male and female, light and dark, low and high. In each case, opposing forces should be in harmony. However, the problem arises, who would give the commands to kill? Would it be random? The Zhuangzi, expresses the idea of people being inherently karmically evil, [1] so it would be very easy for a human to become corrupt, even the purest emperor. Based on this idea we would have to believe that the people chosen to be assassinated couldn t be decided by a human. Then who, or would it be more of a what; what would deciding factor? Garner 471 U.S. 1 (1985) is a highly significant case in our nation s criminal justice history. Garner 471 U.S. 1 (1985) that under the Fourth Amendment a Police Officer could not legally seize, take, a potential suspect s life through the use of deadly force unless circumstances warranted it. It was deemed that only if the officer had probable cause to believe the defendant had committed a violent crime, was a danger to the community, or a threat to the officer would the officer have the authority to utilize deadly force to stop the suspect. The United States Supreme Court further decided that the Tennessee statute was invalid in regards to giving Officer Hymon authorization to use deadly force in the instance of Edward Garner. The United States Supreme Court stated that the Tennessee statute originated from a time when many more crimes were punishable by death than are in present times. Thus it could no longer be interpreted literally in light of changes to the criminal justice system. Taylor Swift represented that same unhappiness that is associated with love in her music. In her song Forever and Always Taylor Swift exemplified her pain through the lyrics. The Arctic Monkeys song, Do I Wanna Know? uses figurative language terms such as metaphors, repetition, and personification to express the natural responses to fear of rejection and the desperation held onto when one wants still to hold onto a love that may or may not be there. Turner knew one thing for sure; that he was madly in love with this one girl and that he was willing to go after her by whatever means necessary. Yet again Turner still had some hesitation. This proved that point that there is always an uncertainty in love because no one is guaranteed that the person they love feels the same way. It is a natural instinct to want to feel accepted and it

Dying well is associated with ensuring that the autonomy of the patient is respected, that the healthcare team has clear and concise communication to avoid miscommunications and along with flexibility of care. With regards to this topic, the epistemological concerns are one of true relevance. Epistemology is defined as justification of knowledge (Carter Little, 2007, p. 1317).
