This document summarizes an experiment on osmosis using eggs in corn syrup and water. The student hypothesized that the corn syrup egg would gain weight and size and look shiny, while the water egg would lose weight and stay the same size. The observations showed the corn syrup egg lost weight and shrank while the water egg gained weight and increased in size. In conclusion, the hypotheses for the corn syrup egg were incorrect but correct for the water egg.
