Purpose
• Place eggs in vinegar to
help remove shell.
• Measure the weight of the
egg using balance
• Measure size of egg using
measuring tape or string.

• Place other egg in corn
syrup.
• Weigh and measure after
24 hours.
Materials

• 2 eggs
• Balance
• Measuring tape
• String
• Water
• 2 beakers
Hypothesis- Water Egg
• Wont change color.
Because it doesn’t have
bleach.
• Will change the weight.
• Will change the size.
Hypothesis- Corn Syrup
• Will change color. Because
of bleach.
• Wont Change in size.
• Wont change the weight.
• Might shrink.
Observation
• Bubbles come off.
• White foam at the top.
• The skin is gone
• Its jellylike and squishy.
• After the egg in water
was in there it looked
transparent and soft.
