 No Rules but guidelines to help you get a
    great impact
 More pictures with balance, impact, and
    attention to the important parts
 Difference between photos that “work”
    photos that are simple snapshots.
Rule of Thirds
Important spaces were the subject should be placed on the 9 imaginary
equal segments. I chose this picture because it focuses on the branch of
leaves.
This pictures shows rule of thirds on
                                      the top segment.

It has the building showing Rule of
thirds.
Balancing Elements
Main subject is more in focus than the subject in the background.
Exit is more in focus than the speaker.
Though the orange triangle is covered
with clear triangles it is the main focus.

The water balances with the
background.
Leading Lines
Lines are being drawn in people’s eyes. Different types of
lines are shown in the picture.
The lines of the subject shows more
                                        lines than the paintings strokes.

It shows different textures and lines
from sides. Also it focuses on the
inside but still have lines.
Symmetry & Patterns
Man-made or natural, we are surrounded by symmetry
                   and patterns.
It shows symmetry on the side the
                                     pattern on the bottom.

It shows pattern in the picture
making it look like its reflected.
Viewpoint
The way or angle you shoot your subject.
Shot from a low angle making it look like
I’m the size of an ant.

Shot from a side view, making it look like
an endless fence.
Background
Using a plain background that the subject fits in to.
Both subjects are the same color as the background, yet they are
still more noticed.
Depth
A way to show a detailed composition in two
               dimensions.
This picture shows the depth of the
                                         sun through the leaves.

It shows the depth of the three lines.
Framing
Placing frames around the subject with the natural
                  surroundings.
The grass frames the pile of
                                          leaves all around .

As the flag being the subject, it shows
not only frames, but it is also taken
from a low angle.
Cropping
The main subject will get much more of an impact than
                  the background.
Not only is the dinosaur in focus but
it really takes up the part of the
                                        whole picture.

Even though the stars are also in the
background but the yellow star
really gives a bigger impact than the
others.
Experimentation
An experimentation is a picture having to not worry
         about any angles or composition.
A picture of leaves with lines and
                                        background, yet it was just
                                        another random picture.

A picture with texture, lines and
depth. It shows how many there are in
one picture.
