1) An experiment was conducted to observe osmosis in eggs by placing one egg in water and another in corn syrup, then measuring and weighing them over time. 2) The egg placed in corn syrup decreased in size and weight as water left the egg to dilute the higher concentrated corn syrup solution. 3) Conversely, the egg placed in water increased in size and weight as water entered the more concentrated egg to dilute its solution.

remove the shell.
