Purposes:
Our purpose with the song and the activities is to teach the alphabet and to
make the students appropriate the new vocabulary. Apart from entertaining
our aim is to teach and provoke equal participation from the students.
Objectives:
Students will be able to:
Recognize the difference between the ways it is pronounced in
isolation and when being used in the word (morphemes, phonemes).
Appropriate the new vocabulary.
Motivate them, through singing a song, to learn English.
Through different activities, students and teacher/s will revise the
presented contents.
Activities:
Warm up: We will show the students flashcards with pictures, that after will
appear in the video, with its correspondent names and they will have to
match them orally with some other images depending on its first word. This
activity will be performed in the blackboard.

During the song: We will play the video twice. First to present it and then we
will be stopping it to practice repetition of sounds and letters. At the same
time we will be checking if students understand the meaning of the new

vocabulary. This will help us to be secure that students comprehend new

Follow up:
We will deliver photocopies with different images and they will have to
paint the ones that appeared in throughout the song. They will also be
proposed to write down the initial letter of the image of each painted
picture.
They will be given a word search puzzle, where they will find some
mentioned objects/animals among others. Then, they will have to
write them down in alphabetic order. For example, if they found
queen-frog-ball-kite.
