Timetable: Mondays from 15:15 to 15:55 and Wednesdays from 16:45 to
17:25
Objectives of the lesson: during this lesson students are expected to:
Routines: Greeting and Praying (2’)
Activity nº1 (2’) as in most of the classes students are not able to
finish their activities, we will use this amount of time to correct or revise
the things that they had as homework. In case this does not happen, this
time will be use for the rest of the activities in the lesson plan.
-Opening the Lesson: Warm-Up Activity (4‘)
Activity nº2 (4’) students are going to complete an activity on their
Activity Books in order to revise the adjectives so that they will be able to
acquire new concepts.

-Body of the Lesson (30‘)
Activity nº3 (8’) students will listen to an audio and do an activity on
their Students Books in which they have to choose which of the characters
is being described. They have to sing it also, so the audio will be played
between 2 and 3 times. (Cd2-track6)

Activity nº 4 (7‘) Students will have to complete the photocopy with the
description of each monster. They have to add (on their own) the new
adjectives “short-long-big-small”.
Activity nº5 (6‘) the trainee is going to present the last topic of Unit
4, which are “geometric shapes”. With the help of flashcards, the trainee
will show these shapes (triangle, rectangle, circle and square). After this,
the trainee will ask students for examples inside the classroom.
e.g. “The blackboard is a rectangle. Can you see any other rectangle here?
Any triangle?”

Activity nº6 (6‘) students will do an activity on their Activity Books
in which they should count the geometric shapes of a “body”, and another
one on their Pupil’s Book in which they should do the same but in
different images.

Activity nº7 (3‘) Memory Game: the trainee will stick flashcards with the
geometric shapes on the blackboard and students will have to find the
pairs. Then, they will have to produce a sentence using the different
adjectives and the shapes e.g. “two big circles” – “two long rectangles”
Closing the Lesson (2’)
As usual, students will copy on their books the activities they have
done during the lesson, as date, weather and description of the activities.
