were yes,itstill meansthatourtarget audience will be aware of the conventionsof the social realismgenre.
2. Do you think having a female leadisa good ideaor wouldyou prefera male lead?
From thisquestionnaire result,itiscleartosee the resultswere splitequally,50:50. Thishighlightsthatthe target
audience have nopreference towhichgenderplaysthe leadrole.Thismeans thatwe canchoose and itwill not
affectthe audience’sviewof the film.We donothave to make the decision onhow itwouldaffectthe audience if
we wanted to pickthe lowerratedone as theybothgot equal marks.
3. From this summary of the film,wouldyou be interestedtogo and watch the film?
An 18 yearold girl feels unwanted by herfamily.She becomesinvolved with drugsand alcohol.Oneday,when out
with her newfriends,shegets left behind and nearly getshit by a car. Shethen meets a boy who helpsher build the
relationship backup with her mum.
Thisresultisverygood as we nowknowthat our final chosenideawillbe watchedbythe targetaudience.80%said
theywouldwatchthe film afterreadingthissummary.Thismeansthatwe do notneedto rethinkourideaasthe
overall opinion wasnotthat theywouldn’t watchthe filmbutinstead,theywould.Thisisaverypositive result.

we have chosen.Thisisgood as itmeanswe have pickedthe rightage groupto aim ourfilmat. It will neveralways
appeal toeverysingle person,buttogetsucha highresultasthisis goodas it tellsusthat the people we are aiming
at will goto watch the filmafterseeingthe filmtrailer.
5. From your knowledge,doyou thinkthis filmsummary fits into the genre ofsocial realism?
Even though, some that filled out the questionnaire might not fully understand the genre of social realism,
it is clear to see from these results that 80% thought it did fit into the social realism genre. This means that
they understand what a social realismfilmis and know what conventions to expect within it. Therefore,
this is a good result as they understand the concept of social realism.

Thisresultof 7/10 highlightsthatthe audiencemostlythinkthis filmtrailerwouldappeal tothe targetaudience that we have chosen.Thisisgood as itmeanswe have pickedthe rightage groupto aim ourfilmat. It will neveralways appeal toeverysingle person,buttogetsucha highresultasthisis goodas it tellsusthat the people we are aiming at will goto watch the filmafterseeingthe filmtrailer. 5. From your knowledge,doyou thinkthis filmsummary fits into the genre ofsocial realism? Even though, some that filled out the questionnaire might not fully understand the genre of social realism, it is clear to see from these results that 80% thought it did fit into the social realism genre. This means that they understand what a social realismfilmis and know what conventions to expect within it.
