advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.

of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover

Monday 16th September We started doing the preliminary task for the school magazine; I researched on different theories that would be used when doing the project. I drew the hand drawn drafts of my school magazine, this gave me idea on how it should look and I could use it as guideline. Monday 23rd September I created questionnaires on Microsoft word so that I know the codes and conventions that would attract my audience and I gave the questionnaires to people after gathering the questionnaire results I decided how the magazine should be and how to make it appealing
- 2. to the audience. I started making the front cover with Photoshop. Monday 30th September I started added cover lines to the front cover, I also created a background with a gradient, and I then added the puff. Monday 7th October I added details in the cover lines I also took pictures for the front cover and I also took ones that will be also used for the contents page and added the social network sites, which meant that I have finished by front cover. Monday 14th October I then started the contents page using the template that I was given by the teacher; I also added all the boarders and the page numbers and also my editorial. Monday 21st October I added the pages and also listed the topic in the magazine and gave a description of on the stories. Half Term Monday 4th November I started completing the front cover of my music magazine, I used the hand drawn draft as a guide on how I and where I should place the codes and conventions. Monday 11th November Began completing my Log book and Evaluation, also looked at Q magazine and also choose my magazine of inspiration. Monday 18th November I also looked at different genres of music and looked at the codes and conventions they use and found a way to in cooperate it into my work. Monday 25th November I also started to research on the genre I was going to make my magazine about. There was a lot of magazine in the same genre I am making so I had to choose the most successful one because I know
- 3. that the way they make their magazine is good because they are well known. After choosing what image to use for the front cover because there was a variety to choose from. Monday 2nd December Now I started to research Q magazine as it was one of the magazines that I decided to research and find out what codes and conventions they use. Monday 9th December I have finished doing the log book found and also found my magazine of inspiration. Monday 16th December As I have already chosen the pictures for my front cover I added to the front cover and made it bigger so that it fills out most of the page. Christmas Holidays Monday 6th January I also started to layout the way my front cover is going to be look, I also added the background, I used two colours to create the background I made the outer bit black and the inner one blue. Monday 13th January By now I have finished my front cover for the music magazine and started to look at my magazine of inspiration on how my contents page will look. Monday 20th January I started the front cover by adding the layout using the template I was given and I also used the hand drawn draft to know where everything should be. Monday 27th January I added the cover lines but when I finished I found out that there was too many pictures on the page so I took them out and left one. Monday 3rd February I also added boarders and also the website and social network sites
- 4. so that it looks like my magazines of inspiration. Monday 10th February I finished my contents page and checked that there was no spelling mistake. Half Term Monday 24th February I began writing the interview for the double page spread and also added borders to give my work a professional look. Monday 3rd March I added the pictures I have already taken and edited it so that it looks professional. Monday 10th March I added the quotes and gave introduction to who I am interview thereby finishing the magazine. Monday 17th March After checking that I have completed all the work, I started my evaluation. Monday 24th March After completing the evaluation, I received feedback and made changes according to the feedbacks I received. Monday 31st March I uploaded all my work to the blog and checked to make sure all the links are working. Easter Holidays
