This document is a schedule that outlines the progress of a student named RhiyaHeir on their foundation portfolio in media studies. Over the course of several months, the student researched inspiration magazines over summer holidays, learned to use Photoshop, created pages for a school magazine including the front cover, contents page and double page spread, took photos, gathered feedback, and completed their logbook and evaluation. They refined their magazine pages and ensured all components were finished for submission.

Monday 10th November After exploring with Photoshop and become familiarized with the
technology, I then started my logbook. This was to show the
research I have done, and to present what I want to include in my
magazine.
Monday 17th November Continued with my logbook
Monday 24th November I had started to take pictures for my music magazine. I was
taught how to use the ‘quick selection tool’ this helped me erase
the background of my image. This was a fast tool and helped me
to place my image.
Monday 1nd December Created my front cover, contents page and double page spread. I
placed out a template to make sure I was familiar with what I was
doing.
Monday 8th December Continued to add to all three of my magazine pages

Christmas Holidays
Monday 5th January Placed all of my pictures throughout all of my magazine ages.
Monday 12th January Made sure all my pages were completed and improvements had
been made.
Monday 19th January Wrote out my editorial letter. Made sure my front cover page,
contents page and double page spread was all completed. Made
sure I was being consistent throughout.For example using

Monday 9th February Made corrections to my logbook, made sure my evaluation was
completed.
Monday 16th February I was starting to gather my audience feedback. By getting my
peers to give me personal feedback. I recorded various friends
talking and analyzing my 3 magazine pages.
Monday 23 February I did a step by step task in my log book to show all three of my
magazine pages. I took screen grabs of my original piece and then
my final piece I compared the different imaged and reflected oh
how I’ve improved.
Monday 2nd March Made sure my logbook and evaluation was completed. And
updated my blog to make sure everything had been loaded on it.
