Owen completed his AS Media coursework over the fall and winter terms. He began by researching target audiences and designing a preliminary hand-drawn magazine. After receiving feedback, he started a music magazine, creating the front cover, contents page, and planning a double page interview spread. During the Christmas break, he finalized production elements. In January, he completed his logbook and conducted an audience survey video. In February and March, Owen finished his evaluation, made final revisions, and submitted all coursework.

Summer Holidays
Monday 8th September This is the week I began my AS Media course.
Monday 15th September Then we started to make are hand drawn magazines for the
preliminary task.
Monday 22rd September Then I had to go online and do research on my target audience and
what type of people I wanted to attract for my magazine.
Monday 29th September Once I found who I wanted to attract in my preliminary task, I then
began the work on it.
Monday 6th October At this stage I done all the preparation that was needed and I was
working on my preliminary task.

2. Monday 13th October During this period I was nearly finished working on my preliminary
task and I was trying to finish it before the half term.
Monday 20st October At this stage I completed my work and I was waiting for feedback from
my teacher so that I can make any changes that was required to be
made..
Half Term
Monday 3th November Before I left for my break, I received the feedback I needed so I started
making changes to my work following step by step the instructions
given to me for me to improve my work.
Monday 10th November At this stage I started my music magazine and was looking at starting
my logbook, all my preliminary work was finished and I started to do
research for my music magazine.
Monday 17th November I also started to create my blog and I was looking at ways to do a
survey for my magazine.
Monday 24th November At this point I already know my magazine of inspiration so this is
when I started my front cover for my magazine.
Monday 1nd December Once my front cover was finished, I then started my contents page and
I had to think about who I wanted in my interview for the double page
spread.
Monday 8th December I started doing more research on the artist who I wanted to interview
in my double page spread.
Monday 15th December Once I picked the artist of my choice, I had a photo shoot to get the

3. picture I wanted for my double page spread and during the Christmas
holiday decide how I will design it.
Christmas Holidays
Monday 5th January At this stage everything was ready to go production wise and I then I
went back to my logbook.
Monday 12th January At this stage I had finished my log book and started to make questions
for my audience feedback.
Monday 19th January I did my video and interviewed the type of people that would buy the
magazine and then uploaded it onto YouTube.
Monday 9th February At this stage I started my evaluation.
Monday 16th February I went back to my production work because I didn’t feel satisfied with
my work and I was in the process of doing my evaluation.
Monday 23 February I finished my evaluation and logbook and I was tidying up things that
needed to be tidied up
Monday 2nd March I handed all my coursework to my teacher.
