The document provides instructions for customizing a "News/Events" feature for an app or website. It describes how to select the feature, customize its name and icon, add event items by filling out required fields, change the order of items, and preview the feature on the app or responsive website.

1. To start editing your app/website feature, you can be on either
the ‘App’ or ‘Web’ View located on the top Header Bar.

2. Access the ‘Features’ tab on the App Panel

3. Once the ‘Features’ tab has been selected the app panel will appear with
a list of the features that are already applied to your app. On the top right
of the panel there is a ‘Manage’ button, click this to access the features
menu where you can pick and choose which features you would like on
your app.

4. Select one of the ‘News/Events’ features. 'Add’ the feature and then
move it to where you would like it to be placed on your app panel.
Press ‘Close' once you’ve finished.

5. Select the ‘News/Events’ tab now located on your app panel.

7. Click the customise button to change the name or the icon
of your news/events feature.

8. To chose an icon or to upload your own custom icon press
the ‘Browse’ button.

9. Choose an icon from the list provided, or to upload your own
icon press the ‘Upload custom icon’ tab.

10. To upload your custom icon drag and drop your 60 x 60 pixel image into the
blue area, or press browse to find your icon manually. Press set when you
have chosen your icon.

11. Press ‘Save’ once you have finished customising your
features name and icon.

12. To add an event item click on the ‘Add’ button

13. Fill in the event name and synopsis

14. You can choose to add media with either a image (A
PNG/JPG at 640 x 427 pixels), or YouTube video by filling out
the required URL

15. Fill out the rest of the details including the required type fields.

16. Choose when you would like your news/event to be shown between.
Enable 'Save to Phone Calendar' and then key in the Event Date which
is mandatory.

17. Fill out the URL you would like to link to if your event is
shared (or leave blank).

18. Add a description on the news/event that you are adding

19. Press ‘Save' once you’ve finished adding your news/event.

20. To add more events click ‘Add’ and follow the previous steps

21. You can edit your news/event by pressing the ‘Edit' button or
delete it by pressing the ‘Bin' icon.

22. Change the order of your icons by selecting ‘Change Order’

23. Drag the dot icon to rearrange the order of your items. Press
‘Update New Order’ once you’ve finished.

24. Preview App
To view your new app feature download the Putti Preview
App and navigate to your news/events tab.

25. If you haven't enabled the 'Add to Calendar' option, you won't see
it on the app, like above.

26. Preview Website
If you have chosen to have a responsive website then make sure you
have completed the ‘Layout’ section of the CMS (under the ‘Web’ View).
Click ‘Preview’ on the top header bar to view the News/Events tab.

27. Once you’ve accessed your website navigate to your mobile
News/Events feature. Your link will appear in different places
depending on the layout or template you’ve chosen.

28. Click on 'Read More' to get all the details for that particular
event.
