Experiments
Abigail Long
Process
I used the biggest pencil possible to make
the entire background black, then changed
it to 1 and added white dots on a separate
layer to make it look like space
Using another layer I designed a gravestone and used it
as a template for all of the other gravestones.
I made the ground green (like grass) and added
flowers to all of them except one
I made a simple looking character for the animation
and added the same flowers from the grave on a
different layer, moved them around to make it look
like they were holding them and merged the layers
together.
I designed a ghost that didn’t melt into the
background, which was black and white.
The finished product was
a short animation.
Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• Refer to the brief: Ghost Game
The character I designed was quite simple which will reflect in
my work.
I like the lighter blue I used on the ghost, and I plan on using
a similar color scheme for my game.
