2. Front Cover Process
• While creating an
experimental front cover,
I used a lot of the text
tool to help make it look
more like a magazine.
• I used a range of images
that were digital art,
including a digital art
tablet, this was to help
give me a rough idea but
also to help make it look
like a magazine and stand
out.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
I will use a lot of text and images of my own that
relate to art in someway. I will also use a barcode
on the magazine to help make it look like a real
magazine.
Furthermore, after experimenting and creating a
rough idea of a magazine front page, it helped me
get use to the tools in Photoshop. But also it helped
me to decide what type of image I should include in
the final product.
4. Double Page Process
• While creating the double
page the tool I used quite a bit
was the text wrap and place
tool. This was to help it make
look like a double page in a
magazine, but also to help
separate the text from the
images. So that they wouldn’t
overlap.
• But when creating the double
page it also gave me a rough
idea on what to include for the
final project.
5. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
In my final project I will include the text style
where the beginning letter is large to help make
it look more like a magazine double page,
I will also use some images within the double
page that are the same as the front cover. This is
to help make it look relevant and to help link the
two together.
