2. Front Cover Process
To make this cover I went and found
an image on Google Images. Once I
made my decision on which image to
choose I opened up a new page in
photoshop and pasted the image.
To make the yellow banner at the top
I drew a rectangle using the rectangle
tool and typed in what I wanted after
clicking the text tool. I also used this
tool to type wherever else that I
wanted.
I went on the internet and found a
barcode on google images to give it
the feel that it was a real magazine.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will include a barcode on the cover to give it the feel that
it is a real article.
– I may include a banner for the title to make it stand out
more.
4. Double Page Process
To make this double page spread;
I went onto Google Images and
selected a photo of a cyclist and
pasted it into a photoshop
document.
I used “Lorem Ipsum” as stand in
text therefore I don’t have to
write an actual fake text.
I placed an advert on the other
side of the page to give the feel
that it is a real magazine as loads
of magazines have
advertisements in them
nowadays.
5. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will use a similar placement of pictures and text, other
than that I will not be using many elements from my
experiments.
