The document discusses the design plans for the front cover and contents page of a magazine aimed at teenage girls. 2. With the front cover of the magazine I
planned to have the main header based on
the top half of the magazine to show which
magazine it is, I have added a girly vibe to
the magazine with the fact I will be making
the C of ‘Chartz’ in a leopard print pink
pattern, this may cause it to attract to a
particular audience of teenage girls which I
am aiming for anyway. With the sub
headings such as ‘Rihanna tour pictures’ I
plan to make it to the writing in large and still
stands out and so that it does not over power
the main story and image which is Katy
Perry, This will make my magazine look
more professional and understandable. With
the bottom of the front cover I plan to have it
showing that it holds typical boy band
posters, by doing this it will attract my
audience even more as this is the sort of
typical thing teenage girls would want within
there music magazine, meaning that the
magazine as a whole will appeal widely to
my audience. I stuck to a set theme of white
backgrounds and florescent colours with
things which should stand out more, such as
the sub headings and the main title.

4. With my contents page the background will be
the plain white, I chose to have this colour for
the background because it makes the text and
the image stand out a lot more and with my
contents page the text is a big important part. I
will be using Florescent colours such as
pink, blue green and yellow to make certain
parts stand out, such as the ‘next issue’ part
will be providing a outstanding colour to show
that this is an important section of my contents.
With the pages, I made sure they went above
90pgs because this would make it look more
realistic and this is what this typical music
magazine would have, These pages will be
holding typical information expected in this sort
of pop magazine, such as the UK top 40 and
typical pop artists such as Rihanna having
information put about them. Also with my
contents page I will be continueing the theme
of the bubbles from the previous pages, this is
like the section people will notice most to see
that this is the magazine which they are
looking for.
