One major difference between their thoughts on the mind would be that Descartes believes that the
mind is a non physical cause while Armstrong believes that it is a physical cause. This difference may
seem small when you compare it to the two philosophers similarities, but it can cause much debate.
Descartes states in his writing of Meditation I, I will obstinately concentrate on this meditation and

Religious Freedom Restoration Act passed in Indiana is one example just a way to legalize
discrimination against gays: any business owner could now refuse to serve them simply by citing a
religious objection. Why do laws like these get pass. Its because of religious congressmen and women

Abraham Lincoln and, Julius Caesar were both politicians, and they are both similar in their way
although they both come from different walks, of life they both share similarities. Abraham Lincoln
served as the 16th president of, the United States he was born in Hodgenville, KY in 1809 and, he was
assassinated in April of 1865 Abraham Lincoln stood for rights of all people although these two men
are quite different they stood for leadership and justice and equality. Julius Caesar was born on July 13
100 B.C.E. he was a politician, and a military leader Abraham Lincoln and Julius Caesar were both
rulers of their country they both had made a significant impact people admired them, they were
acknowledged as heroes of their countries. And shortly after they were both assassinated Abraham
Lincoln, and Julius Caesar left a legacy in which would carry on forever.
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States of America he was frequently referred to
