The first book that I will discuss is the book of Ezra. Ezra lived during the time several hundred
years after the return of the Jews from the Babylonian exile, which would be around 400 BC.
Ezra was a priest, who was an expert in the law of the Torah. The first six chapters of the Book of
Ezra describe the return of the Jews from the exile in Babylon, which actually happened before
Ezra was actually living. The last 6 chapters deal with the restoration of Jewish life in Israel after
the exile in Babylon.
In this time period, there were two restorations going on. The first dealt with the rebuilding of

For the play, Hamlet, the world of the play is set in New York in the 1920s during the rise of the
mafia. To help create the world of the play, several songs were chosen to represent the beginning
world, climax, and end world; other sound cues were chosen to indicate the setting and mood.
Farewell Blues by the Friar s Society Orchestra was chosen to open the play. This 1920s jazz
number indicates to the audience the time period in which the play takes place. The title also
represents the opening mood of the play. Old Hamlet had his funeral, and Claudius became the head
of the family after marrying Gertrude. Everyone had their chance to mourn, and now they are going
back to their normal lives.
While the opening of the play was an upbeat jazz number, the song selected for the climax of the
play is more serious. The climax of Hamlet is the duel between Hamlet and Laertes. In the
beginning of Unstoppable by E.S. Posthumus the music is light before the pace picks up signaling
the rising tension as Laertes waits for the prime moment to strike against Hamlet for what he did to
his father and sister. As the song continues, the beat gets faster, the drums get louder and more
dramatic which symbolizes the battle between Laertes and Hamlet and the unfortunate onlookers
who get caught in the crossfire. The music ends abruptly which ends the fight, and everyone is

We did it because we loved flying jets, period dot. Waving the flag is like tossing pompoms in
the air at a football game. They look good and get everyone s arousal moving upwards, but that
was not what was driving the core of the players. Elite athletes love their sport. They have a
passionate drive to succeed with competence, autonomy, and relatedness. We were all like a hungry
rabbits chasing a carrot and willing to die for it. Once someone discovers their purpose and then
running toward it with all their might, effort, and a solid action plan, absolutely nothing can stop
someone like that who would die in pursuit of that passion.
The purpose of my discussion is to explore, through reflection, the motivation that drove my past in
order to see if I can shed some light on the topic to enhance and supplement my motivational
interviewing (MI) techniques that I have learned this week. I want to take this same spirit of
motivation that is autonomous, internal, inspiring, and lasting to my family, friends, and future
clients who are seeking to perform in sports or other performance related endeavors with
competence, relatedness, and autonomy.

A biome, also known as life zones, consists of all plants, animals, and other organisms, as well the
physical environment in a particular area. A biome is characterized by its plant life, climate, and
location. The climate and physical features determine the boundaries of a biome. A biome is made
up of many different ecosystems. The ecosystems tend to have the same pants and animals as
neighboring biomes around the boundaries. The major biomes are the tundra, taiga, tropical rain
forest, temperate forests, desert, grassland, savanna, chaparral, and marine. Each biomehas it s own

Tundra plants over the years adapted to sweeping winds and disturbances of the soil. Another
adaptation is that they are short and cluster together to help endure the cold. Also they can carry out
photosynthesis at low temperatures and low light intensities. Plants aren t the only things that have
had to adapt to the conditions, animals have had to as well.
Animals of the tundra have had to adapt to the long cold winters and to having to raise their young
quickly in the summer. Some other adaptations of animals include thick insulating cover of feathers
or fur; large, compact bodies; pelage and plumage that turns white in the winter and brown in the
summer; the ability to accumulate thick deposits of fat during the short growing season;
hibernation; and migration. Some of the animals that are found living in the tundra are lemmings,
voles, caribou, artic hares, squirrels, artic foxes, wolves, polar bear, ravens, snow buntings, falcons,
loons, ravens, sandpipers, terns, snow birds, mosquitoes, flies, moths, grasshoppers, black flies,
artic bumble bees, cod, flatfish, salmon, and trout. Some of these animals are shared with other
neighboring biomes but some are only home to the tundra. The tundra is the simplest biome in
