Quiznos Went Out of Business in Rexburg
Why did Quiznos go out of business in Rexburg? Did you know that we are closing this week? she
asked. It was the same lady who had taken my order and made the same sandwich for me every week
and sometimes more... for the last couple of years. I almost couldn t believe my ears as I replied
saying, Are you serious? When? The Quiznos that was once very close to my house in Idaho Falls was
going under. It was the start of something that would truly prove to be detrimental to my physical and
emotional well being. Now fast forward a couple of years. Imagine that you re in my shoes, with the
knowledge that there is not a Quiznos in operation (that you know of) within 150 miles. Then you see
it: the Quiznos sign. You walk up for a closer look, and find that the place is completely desolate. How
would you feel? Would you ask yourself why? How? Because that is exactly what I did.
So what is the most important thing in a restaurant? You d think it would be food. In a talk given by
Thomas Keller, a restaurant owner, about what excellent food does to a restaurant, Mr. Keller talks a
lot about the quality of food, and a customers experience. The experience that one has in a restaurant
is something that should be completely about the consumer. If the consumer does not have a good
experience at a restaurant, there is a good chance that he or she will not come back. The quality of the
food at a restaurant can depend a lot on the quality of ingredients. It s important to always have the

The Revivalists By Nell Vyse
The Revivalists
A friend of Charles and Nell Vyse, the artist William Stott 14 had lately leased one of the Cheyne Row
studios, and not long after settling in he proposed that he should paint a conversation piece, depicting
both the Vyses at work in their studio. Titled The Revivalists by Stott, the painting completed by 1921,
and exhibited by him at the Royal Academy (RA 17) in the same year. It was an opportune advertising
coup for the Vyses, as Vyse was showing two figurative works in the same exhibition. The following
year when The Illustrated London News reproduced Stott s painting, The Revivalists (Fig. 42), the
Vyses found that they had gained a kind of fame. After some ninety years, the painting is an
instructive piece of evidence documenting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It was in 1921 that Vyse temporarily put aside his fascination with flower sellers and produced the
modernist image of motherhood he titled Madonna of World s End Passage (Fig 43). In the first half
of the 20th century, an area of Chelsea, known as World s End, consisted of working class people
living in poorly maintained housing, poverty, and deprivation. World s End Passage was within
walking distance of Vyse s studio in Cheyne Row and their Fulham Road apartment. Within the scope
allowed a ceramic artist, Vyse has attempted to depict a woman from such an environment.
Additionally, the subject bears a striking resemblance to Nell Vyse, aged twenty eight, whom he
depicts holding their two year old daughter Elizabeth in her arms. Of the known editions of the
Madonna of World s End Passage, the decoration varies only in small ways. The subject s outdoor coat
is most often seen painted green and the revealed lining a lilac tone. Her day dress usually has a
complicated pattern of mainly blue and yellow leaves connected by a series of vertical lines and dots
of yellow. Additionally, the babe s swaddling clothes are sometimes decorated either blue or lilac. A
rare edition of this figure sometimes appears decorated with a blue outer coat, and the revealed coat

Disadvantages Of Landfills
Every day, all of the people in the world are making enormous amounts of waste. Most countries
choose to bury garbage into or top of the ground, which is called sanitary landfills. In the United
States, annually approximately 16 million tons are safely disposed in the 39 landfills (Advanced).
They are thoroughly designed, structured, and operated in a way that waste does not give rise to any
potentially hazardous elements to public health or surrounding environment. Therefore, the role of
landfills is to contain waste and prevent it from being touched with area where people, animals, and
the nature exist. Since there are numerous advantages of landfills, it seems that landfills are an
inevitable choice to deal with this rubbish heap, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Because of the relatively lower price, businesses and some companies can save a lot more money
(Marie). It has positive effects on not only environment, but also human life. Landfills can also have a
positive influence on ecosystem. On March Island in Southwestern Florida, the tropical hardwood is
maintained by virtue of the garbage. Trees, from roots to branches, are covered with shell mound. The
piles of shells made by the Calusa create perfect habitats, forming a tropical hardwood hammock
(Philip). Consequently, the utilitarian view considers landfills as a morally appropriate action.
In rights ethics, everyone deserves to have individual rights and pursue their self interests. In terms of
landfill issue, it indicates that each individual is entitled to know merits and drawbacks of landfills. In
accordance with one s perspective, they can agree or disagree with the landfill establishment. In
particular, self interest is a substantially significant factor to determine each different opinion. In
Uniontown, Alabama, Georgia based Green Group Holdings sued all residents who were poor and
predominantly Black people since they disapproved of a coal ash landfill establishment in community.
After a long judicial dispute, eventually, the company permanently agreed to withdraw the lawsuit.
The court concluded that before burying any potential hazards, landfills would provide the advanced
notice to the residents and

Essay on Japanese Baseball
Japanese Baseball Japanese Baseball has existed in Japan since 1873. It first appeared amid the social,
cultural and technological spasms Japan endured on the heels of the Meiji restoration. The game began
as a club sport; Japan s first team was the Shinbashi Athletic Club Athletics (composed mostly of
people associated with Japan s first railroad which ran from Shinbashi, in Tokyo, to Yokohama). For a
relatively good treatment of Japan s early baseball history see Robert Whiting s You ve Gotta Have
Wa,
The sport became popular with schoolboys and eventually won recognition from the government.
Amateur baseball was the only game in Japan until the Shibaura Club was organized in the early
1920s. The Shibaura Club was founded in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Each team played at least 84 games in 1941. In 1942, the war in China spread to the rest of the Pacific.
In spite of the continuing escalation of the war, the 1942 schedule went back to 104 games. In 1943,
the schedule reverted to 84 games. In 1944, the schedule was drastically reduced to 35 games and only
six teams. The 1945 season was never played. Within nine months of the beginning of the Allied
occupation, Japan s pro leagues were back in business with eight teams playing 105 games each.
General Information About Japanese Baseball
Amateur Baseball
Japan is, arguably, the word wide center of amateur baseball, in the sense that so many people play
baseball here. Softball is played in Japan but it far less popular among men than baseball. The total
number of softball and baseball players in Japan is probably about even however, since there appears
to be many more womens softball teams than baseball teams.
The most popular form of baseball is nanshiki which uses a light rubber ball with dimples so that it
resembles a large golf ball with the traditional raised seams of a baseball. The ball is a little harder to
catch (because it is so light, it has a tendency to pop out of the glove). It is very popular with town and
city leagues as well as with many youth and company leagues.
The focus of amateur baseball is on industrial league, college, and especially high school ball.

Monitoring Performance And The Conditions Of Machines
Condition monitoring as a technique to monitor the performance and the conditions of machines is
used extensively in factories. Although condition monitoring has established since 1960 s, it is still
being develop in parallel with the advances in transducers and computer technology [1]. The benefit of
condition monitoring is to minimize unplanned maintenance of machinery as well as improves the
reliability and safety. In recent year, wired online condition monitoring (CM) systems have been
applied in many industrial machines. Because the systems relies on different types of cables for field
applications, the installation, the maintenance and cost become the major obstacles of their wide
applications [2],[3]. Remote condition monitoring ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although this method is low compared to modern condition monitoring techniques, it needs high skills
based on long experiences. The findings drawn by different examiners are sometimes not the same,
because of different personal skills and individual experiences [4]. 1 2 2 Monitoring of Machinery
Parameters This kind of condition monitoring is sometimes called trend monitoring which is another
useful means to identify machine abnormalities. For instance, pressure, current and voltage are good
examples of parameters which can be monitored to notice the changing in machines characteristics.
This monitoring method uses periodic measurements of a monitored parameter and implements the
data collected against time. Generally, any machine has a period of time before stop called early life
which is the period from the operation till it decays to the normal life period. Typically the amplitude
of parameters is high at the starting however it decreases rapidly to normal levels. The second one is
the normal life which is the period needed to perform a specific function. One of the maintenance
objectives is to maintain this period for as long as possible [6]. 1 2 3 Noise monitoring Noise
monitoring is achieved by measuring and analyzing the noise spectrum [7]. Generally, this

I Can Remember Mine With Perfect Clarity Essay
As babies most of us go through some sort of traumatic experience. Whether it be a high fever from an
illness or a near miss car wreck. Nine times out of ten we never remember these incidents, with only
stories from relatives to know that they happened. I can remember mine with perfect clarity. At the age
of one year old, one day before my second birthday, I sat in my day care with my hands leaning back
looking up at the colorful displays. While it is illegal in North Carolina to not have heavy bookshelves
mounted to the ground, this day care had chosen to forgo that rule and use them as room dividers. A
little boy on the other side of the divider with sandy blond hair shoved his backpack into the cubby,
excited to go out and play among his friends. One of the poorly taken care of wheels on the bottom of
this bookshelf collapsed toppling over onto my hand, crushing almost every bone in the process and
partially severing two of my fingers on my left hand. After 3 blood transfusions, a life flight trip to
Duke Hospital, 3 later surgeries, and careful reconstruction, I am now left with a functioning hand
albeit slightly deformed on the two severed fingers. These incredible doctors were able to save the nail
bed although my middle finger curves over somewhat bent inward along with some scarring. This is
what life would be like for me with a perfect hand for three days.
Day one, I would wake up in my bed and sit up. I would excitedly run my fingers through my hair like

Sam Journey
The Adventures of Sam
Once upon a time there was a salmon named Sam. Sam and his family lived in the Pacific Ocean. Sam
was about to embark on a very tough journey. He was about to make his way from the Pacific Ocean
into the rivers that would lead him further into the United States. He was planning on making his way
to the Snake River located in Oregon and Idaho. Sam was making this journey because he was going
to spawn. Spawning is when a female salmon leaves her eggs in gravel beds located in rivers so that a
male salmon will come and fertilize the eggs. The reason why this is such a hard journey is because
the Sam and the other salmon are going to be swimming upstream. The salmon having to flip their

By the time he was in the river, he was having a hard time already swimming. So many other fish
were surrounding him that it made it difficult to swim through the water.
The first few days of the trip were started getting tougher. Although Sam is a fast and strong swimmer,
he started to get really tired on the 5th day of his trip. When Sam was in high school, he was on the
swim team. Sam was not only the fastest swimmer, but he was able to swim for forever and not get
tired. However, Sam had to swim upstream which meant he was swimming against strong waters
which made him really tired. He had already seen many other salmon die from exhaustion. Sam was
getting closer and closer to his destination. At the pace he was going at he would arrive at the Snake
RIver in a day or two. Sam was minding his own business just swimming along until one of the other
salmon swimming beside him started to start a conversation with Sam. Hey you should be careful, up
here is where we re going to swim through Richland Falls. Sam replied Why do I need to be careful?
What s so dangerous about Richland Falls? The salmon yelled back to Sam I can t believe you don t

Essay On Postnatal Depression
Most people think postnatal women are happy because of the new baby who just arrived.
Unfortunately, the majority of postnatal women are often depressed. postnatal depression is more
common than you might think. Although postnatal depression is very common disorder, most of the
women who suffer from it do not tell anyone about their feelings. It could be because of the society

The Place of Islamic Law in Tanzania Mainland
THE PLACE OF ISLAMIC LAW IN TANZANIA MAINLAND.

Introduction: Islam is one of the Universal religions of the world. As a religion, Islam is governed by
an assortment of divine laws known as shariah of which its sources are mainly attributed to the divine
revelations in the Holy Qur an and traditions of the Prophet (P.B.U.H). This package is what forms the
basis of the spiritual, economic, political and social guidance of Muslims. Thus, all the laws of Islam
have to be annexed to and borne of the Holy texts. Contrary to this, such laws would be regarded as un
Islamic. On the other hand, as regards the modern states, the mother of all laws is the constitution. It

In effect, Native Courts were established in 1929 by the Native Courts Ordinance, Cap 73.These
Native Courts were subordinate to the High Court. The Native Courts were presided over by Liwali,
Kadhi, Akida, Chief, and Headman and were to exercise civil or criminal jurisdiction within an area
prescribed by the Governor. However, the life of these courts came to an end in 1951 when the Local
Courts Ordinance, Cap 299 came into being. The Local courts were confined to Africans and
administered customary criminal and civil law and a limited number of statutory laws. Another
development was witnessed in 1958 when urban courts were established by the Liwalis (Functions
and Powers) Ordinance, Cap.408.Liwali courts were presided over by magistrates employed by the
Government under the title of liwalis who also exercised executive functions within their own urban
area. Although the British colonial state gave recognition to the indigenous judicial institutions under
native law and custom, it however, permitted customary criminal law to be applied by the Native
subordinate courts but not the Islamic criminal law. The turning point for the administration of justice

Descriptive Of The Starry Night
The Starry Night is one of the most famous paintings in the history of western culture. It was painted
by Vincent Van Gogh in 1889 and is recognized as his finest work. This artwork is oil on canvas and is
currently in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. An interesting fact about the artwork is that it is
painted from Van Gogh s memory, unlike his other works which are painted outdoor. This painting is
the view from the east facing window of his asylum room at Saint Reme de Provence. The view
includes the starry sky, cypress tree, village, and hills. This morning I saw the countryside from my
window a long time before sunrise, with nothing but the morning star, which looked very big. wrote
Van Gogh.
The first thing I notice in The Starry Night is the sky in the background because it stands out the most.
There are many shining stars, the big bright crescent moon and wind swirls painted throughout the
blue sky using contrasting colours like orange, yellow and white. Through the swirling wind, thick
curve lines are flowing across the sky to form this spiral like formation. Eleven yellow stars which
look like huge fireballs lighten the whole art piece by contrasting with the cool blue, dark night sky
that contains a variety of shades of blue and grey. There is also the crescent moon at the top right hand
corner that is bigger and emits an even brighter light compared to the rest of the stars. Next, I notice
the giant cypress tree on the left side because of how its proportion is a lot bigger than everything else
in the rest of the painting. It blocks out part of the sky and the village located at the bottom. The
village houses are tiny and painted in the shade. It is compact and is close to the hills and its
surrounding objects which makes the houses blend in and become unnoticeable.
Many elements and principles are portrayed in this art piece. To begin with, the first thing I see and
grabs my attention is the swirling wind. Rhythm and Movement can be seen and it creates a flow to
the rest of the painting in which leads your eyes to follow along the path of the swirl and brings you to
the next subject. It allowed me to view the art piece up to down and left to right, as I started from the
swirl to the stars

Descriptive Essay On Bob Ross
The secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do
strong enough, you can do. Anything. As long as you believe. This is one of the many inspirational
things I have heard Bob Ross say on his show, The Joy Of Painting. Bob Ross is one of the most
beloved American painters and is known by thousands of people across the world. His show was all
about teaching his viewers how to paint and enjoy themselves while doing it. However, many of us
tuned into the show not to paint, but to just listen to his calming voice and watch him form a
masterpiece on a blank canvas. It is crazy to watch all the things he can do with a brush. He is also
known for using the wet on wet painting technique which he learned from his mentor William
Alexander. This is the process of putting oil paints directly on top of one another to create complete
paintings in less than an hour. Bob Ross practiced this so much that he got it down to under 30
minutes for his show.
His painting style is very different than mine, but I still love to watch and learn new things that I can
experiment with in my style of painting. He accomplished many things in life, including finishing over
30,000 paintings and touching the hearts of millions of people while doing that. More recently, he has
become very popular on social media, with over 67,000 followers on his Twitter fan page and over a
million views on his YouTube painting videos. His love of painting has been brought

Stereotypes Of Dyslexia
Approximately 1 of 10 people are oblivious to the fact that they have dyslexia. Not knowing that you
have dyslexia is kind of like not knowing that your race, or a life without a mirror, and you not being
able to see yourself, thinking that you look until someone points out your flaw. People who have
dyslexia most likely would not know it until they get in to school. Children can presume that they are
flawed and they may feel lifted out, that can be hard. The ways you can find out or know something
about the disorder is to do some research. Some people do not even know about dyslexia and how it
affects your life. There are some ways to figure this out. To indicate if someone has dyslexia someone
would have to know the real subtypes of dyslexia. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some people feel that they are stupid or dumb , and that is not true they just have to adjust a bit. It is
sometimes hard to decode words. Decoding is translating a printed word into its sounds...A specialist
can focus, for example, on prefixes and suffixes. So when a teen comes across a word like polygamy,
he can be taught the meaning of the prefix poly. Then he can apply that knowledge to make sense of
the meanings of specialized words beginning with that prefix, like polyhedron. Sometimes it s just an
eye to mouth problem where your brain is not picking up everything (Osewalt). Researchers have
been trying to figure out what causes dyslexia. Is there one weakness a single deficit that causes all of
these issues? Or do the various issues have separate causes? Just because someone has dyslexia doesn
t mean that they have a disease (the Understood. Org team). Dyslexia is not a disease. It s a condition
that you are born with, and it often runs in families. People with dyslexia are not stupid or lazy. Most
have average or above average intelligence, and they work very hard to overcome their learning
problems (?). One of the main reasons that a person with dyslexia is called lazy is that they will give
up and nor want to learn because the learning is too hard for them to understand. When the kids or
adult doesn t understand they probably need to be taught another way so that they can get a better
grasp on the information.

In Bartleby, The Scrivener, Bartleby serves as the main character with his distinct nature that everyone
is trying to decipher. Despite the attention around Bartleby, much of the story also revolves around the
narrator, the lawyer, who tells the story through his perspective; this implies that the lawyer s ideology
and perception of societal norms shape the interactions between the lawyer and Bartleby but also how
the story is told. Take for example, if the lawyer disregards Bartleby and fires him on the spot, this
story would have ended rather quickly and been much different than it actually is. With this said, the
lawyer s peculiar attraction to Bartleby s strange behavior can be explained by the lawyer s innate
ideas of social norms and instruction that stems from the behavior of the other scriveners and his own
experiences. Bartleby s behavior is considered a deviation from the norm because of the conforming
behaviors of the other scriveners, Turkey, Nippers and Ginger Nut. As scriveners, they listen to their
employer, the lawyer, and do as they were told. Their actions and reactions build the idea of society
and how a scrivener should behave. Turkey is a short, pursy Englishman that is not far from sixty
years old who drinks on the job which makes his work in the afternoon ineffective. Nippers is an
ambitious fellow whose impatience stems from the mundane duties of being a mere copyist and has
trouble working in the morning due to his stomach issues. The last

Letter To Queen Victoria Essay
In the text, Letter to Queen Victoria , written by Lin Zexu in 1839, he implores the Queen of Great
Britain, Queen Victoria, to stop her subjects from selling opium to the Chinese public. Zexu does so
by exemplifying the past relationship of China and Britain, by moral persuasion, and by warnings and
threats. However, Lin Zexu s assumption of calling British subjects as Barbarian and compliant to
Chinese rule ineffectively persuades. First, Lin Zexu exemplify the past good relationship of China
and Britain by stating that the past rulers and traditions of Britain are at peace with China, that both
nations benefited from trade until Opium outbreaks throughout China s population . Zexu states The

opium shall receive the death penalty. Zexus, further imploring of the Queen of Britain by threats,
stated: if the merchant of your honorable country wish to enjoy trade with us on a permanent basis
they must fearfully obey our law in which penalties are decapitation or strangulation. In conclusion,
the 1839 Letter to Queen Victoria by Lin Zexu argued that Opium is a source of evil and pain and
appealed to the Queen of Great Britain to abolish sale and smuggling of opium in China. Zexu did this
through exemplifying the past trading relationship of China and Great Britain, also by moral

Print Media Is The Best Possible Outcome For The Allocated...
For the purpose of this campaign the recommended criteria is print media. Essentially, print
advertising is associated with physical printed media such as magazines and newspapers in hopes to
reach customers attention (ref). Yet, although this style is advised it would be wise to discuss other
advertising outlets in regards to achieving the best possible outcome for the allocated budget. Before,
implementing print media as our primary outlet we should first analyse its usefulness and
effectiveness in current advertising and decide whether it is the most suitable approach for FruChocs.
Firstly, let us examine the effectiveness of print media associated with magazines. According to Green
(2002) explains that magazine advertising is the weakest option of all, explaining that its impact is not
sufficient enough in comparison to other media outlets. However, it does cater to specific targeted
audiences, which is recommended in the advertising criteria, yet, segmenting the market could be
detrimental towards growth as opposed to mass marketing, a topic which we will discuss later in the
report (Wright Esslemont, 1994). The next print option we can consider is newspapers, according to
World Press Trends the circulation of newspapers free and paid for increased by 15% from 2001 to
2006. From 2006 approximately 1.4 billion people read newspapers on a daily basis, with 515 million
people purchasing one every day (World Press Trends Green 2006). Green (2006) explains, that it is

Analysis Of The Association Of Obesity And Overweight With...
Multivariate analysis is tested using logistic regression analysis to investigate the association of
obesity/overweight with frequent mental distress (FMD) and other covariates such as age, sex, race,
employment status, regular exercise, cigarette smoking, general health, physical health, unable to do
activities, depressive disorder and diabetes. Each of the independent variables was separately used to
predict FMD. This was followed by a multivariable model, where all the variables were
simultaneously introduced. Finally, separate multivariable analyses were performed after stratifying
for the significant covariates and interaction variables to get parsimonious model. All the independent
variables were binary or categorical with two or three categories.
Full Model Logistic Interpretation: The logistic regression of full model indicates that after controlling

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 1791) is without a doubt one of the most influential composers to
have ever lived. From his piano works to his symphonies, Mozart never ceased to amaze people with
his music. He had a very exciting career that began in his childhood that involved traveling to different
cities and performing and writing music for a number of large and well respected audiences. Along
with Mozart s obviously notable works, his sacred music was also exceptionally popular at the time,
as he adopted and further adapted the sacred writing styles of composers before him. Mozart s Mass in

After returning from his tour of Europe, it is said that Mozart needed time to recover from the various
illnesses he had received while traveling. While in Salzburg, it is unknown whether or not Mozart
attended a school, but it is known that his father taught him much of what he knew early on in life. It
is said that his father helped him write compositions at the beginning, and by 1767 they had an
extensive list of keyboard works. Unfortunately, none of these early works for Mozart s Salzburg
childhood remain. It wasn t until 1768 that Mozart composed and premiered his first major work.
Mozart at just twelve years old wrote his first full opera La Finte Simplice, and had it premiered in
Vienna. Many opera critics realized that Mozart s early works were up to par, if not better than the
similar works written at the time. After the operas s success in Vienna, Salzburg s archbishop wanted
to showcase the native Austrian and scheduled a performance of La Finte Simplice in 1769. Since this
work is an opera buffa, special performers were brought in to correctly portray the roles and style as
Mozart wanted them to be. In 1773, Mozart decided to leave his father and his home of Salzburg to try
and further his career as a court musician and composer. In 1777, he went on another European city

Civil Society And Globalization Essay
A globalized society creates an increasingly complicated set of forces and factors that bring people,
cultures, markets, and beliefs together. The improvement of technology, transportation, and
communication means that in the last century businesses, governments, and people are being drawn
into greater proximity with one another. As a result, the notion of civil society is slowly being
challenged because state borders are no longer containers of society , meaning that the state is no
longer a fixed unit of sovereign space (Agnew, 59). One of the key phenomenon of globalization is the
emergence of a global civil society. Global civil society refers to the vast assembly of groups

Therefore, global civil society and globality/globalization are two ideas that are inherently linked and
interdependent on the definitions of one another. Globalization is a key concept that engenders a set of
terms that embody it. Terms like interconnection, interdependence, liberalization, etc make us think of
a global situation that is marked by intense interaction and interdependence between country units
(Scholte, 237). Therefore, global civil society is what defines relations and social connections in a
globalized world where territorial location, territorial distance, and territorial borders do not have a
determining influence because the idea of place as territorially fixed is diminishing (Scholte, 237). An
important concept of civil society is its influence on civic activity on a domestic scale and the
influence that activity has on the organization of national politics. A large reason why the development
of global civil society occurred was in response to the changing political environment as a result of
globalization. According to Scholte, new geography has ended the state s effective monopoly on
governance that developed under conditions of territorialism (241). In other words, in the new post
sovereign world policies and administration does not adequately reflect citizenship and democracy
because these ideals no longer center around the state. That is why global civil society is the attempt

The Influence of Interest Groups on Public Policy
The Influence of Interest Groups Introduction An interest group is an association of individuals or
organizations who share ideas and/or attitudes and attempt to influence public policy without trying to
be elected. These groups may also be known as advocacy groups, pressure groups, or lobbying groups.
Berman and Murphy (2011) note that American democracy is influenced by a number of well
organized groups designed to persuade government policy toward a particular outcome. Although
many distrust these groups the reality is they are a link between the public and policy makers. Interest
groups are formed for a number of reasons. Economic interest groups encompass organizations that
speak for big business while trade associations may represent entire industries. Public interest groups,
government interest groups, religious interest groups, civil rights interest groups, ideological interest
groups, and single issue interest groups all try to sway their influence over public policy. Many of
these groups make their national headquarters in Washington D.C. to be near legislators and policy
makers (Burstein Linton, 2002). The number of interest groups in the United States has grown quickly
over the last half century. From 1959 to 2001 the Encyclopedia of Associations shows increase from
about 6,000 to 22,000 reflecting a growing diversity in interest groups. While trade groups once

Lab Report For The Purpose Of Gram Staining
Gram Staining
Formal Lab Report
Miranda King
Intro Microbiology
Dr. Hendrickson
13 September 2017
Purpose
For the purpose of the gram staining experiment was to learn this specific type of staining technique,
as well as learn how distinguish the differences between Gram positive and Gram negative stains. This
technique uses crystal violet stain, Gram s Iodine, Ethyl Alcohol, and Safranin. These dyes are used in
order to distinguish between the different types of cells. For example, Gram positive staining will
result in a purple color, and Gram negative staining will result in a red or pinkish color (University of
Central Oklahoma department of biology, 2016). When a bacteria results in a purple stain it is
categorized as a gram positive stain because the alcohol that was used to decolorize the bacteria was
not successful. Its cell wall is made with a thick layer of peptidoglycan and holds the crystal violet
color (Case, Funke, Tortora). When a bacteria results in a red or pinkish color, this means that it loses
the crystal violet dye color after being decolorized and keeps the Safranin dye. It would then become
categorized as a gram negative stain (Case, Funke, Tortora). A gram negative bacteria has a cell wall
made of a thin layer of peptidoglycan and a thick layer of lipopolysaccharides thus holding onto the
red dye (Case, Funke, Tortora). Bacteria have different shapes and these shapes determine what family
they belong in. There are

Unfortunately most of the victims of this phenomenon were women. For the most part these women
were accused for very trivial reasons, such as for being widowed, being of old age and living alone, or
for simply collecting herbs and other plants. During this time in history women and men were treated
very differently both as they should contribute in the home and in society, this would have presented
reasons as to why women were predominantly accused of witchcraft, along with any religious beliefs.
The Crucible by Arthur Miller takes place at a time of a patriarchal society, the roles of men and
women were different, along with how they were treated overall in society. This contributed to the
stereotype of women being the ones predominantly associated with witchcraft. When having different
roles and expectations for men and women there are problems that arise. Such as the fact that if
women were to stray from the social norm in Salem, then they would be suspected or accused of being
involved with witchcraft. They were expected to attend to domestic duties such as spinning, sewing,
preserving food, animal husbandry, cooking, cleaning, and raising the children. Further, A responsible
housewife would also manage the family budget which would lead to manufacturing things such as
textiles and

Fairy Tale Essay
Fairy Tale
Three Brothers, the Baker, and the Bear A long, long, time ago in a far away land lived three brothers,
Alexander, Eliot, and Janik. The brothers lived poorly with their old parents in a village named
Augusta. One chilly evening, the boys father requested his sons go out to gather firewood and search
for berries. Alexander, the youngest, went on a search for twigs and branches as ordered, while Eliot
and Janik ran ahead in a search for food. Five minutes from their home resides the nearest bakery,
where Eliot and Janik stole bread from every day. Forget the berries! Yelled Eliot. Tonight we feast on
bread and leave mother and father to starve! As Eliot and Janik were on their way out, they bumped

So go on your way go do as I said,
Next time that we meet, you must have my bread.
The witch vanished into mid air and with the chant of the witch echoing through Janik and Alexander
s ears, they engulfed onto their journey with Eliot to regain their senses. The bear was scared for the
boys, but he knew that with his help Alexander and his brothers would all be okay. He quietly
followed the boys into the forest. He crept not too close and not too far. The brothers linked arms as
they went on their way, with Janik on one end to listen closely to their surroundings, Eliot on another
end to keep out an open eye, leaving Alexander in the middle to rely on his siblings. Alexander knew
they had to stick close together if they wanted to make it to the next village over within three days.
The closest village nearby was a village called Juliesary. In that village, the wealthiest man of all the
land owned the most famous bakery in the world. The bakers wife worked at the bakery with him,
along with their beautiful daughter Adeline. Adeline s beauty was admired throughout the village.
Everybody wanted her hand in marriage, for she was the fairest woman in the land and the most well
off. Adeline s parents were successful workers, owning most of the most well known bakery s with
locations all over the world. The three of them lived a pleasant, happy life in prosperity, and they
wouldn t have it any other way. Alexander, Eliot, and Janik

Recall our stochastic dierential equation to model stock prices:
dS = σ dX + µ dt S where µ is known as the asset s drift , a measure of the average rate of growth of
the asset price, σ is the volatility of the stock, it measures the standard deviation of an asset s returns,
and
dX is a random sample drawn from a normal distribution with mean zero.

D-day Equipment and Strategy
Imagine being on a boat headed to Normandy, France with 160,000 other American, British and
Canadian forces. There are planes flying overhead and there s a tank on your boat and all the other
boats have tanks. Then you hear your platoon leader saying Men, we re on our way to a heavily
fortified beach head to take control of the beachhead. Securing the beachhead will help us stop Hitler s
plan to conquer the world for himself. When they were at the beach they had to keep their heads low
until the door opens and let the tank get through first so they could take cover behind it. And men,
good luck out there.
Then you hear the boat intercom after a while about five minutes from the beach giving you your
orders. Come on and you get your orders. Your orders are to get to the top of the cliff and take control
of the beach head. Once we secure the beachhead we re gonna move on and take back the countries
under Hitler s control. After that we will capture Hitler and take him prisoner. Then we can go home
once that s all done. With a lot of soldiers comes a lot of weapons and equipment to use. About 47
guns used in D day from heavy machine guns to flamethrowers. A total of about 24 aircraft from
heavy bombers to gliders. There were also 29 tanks from heavy tanks to light tanks. There were 28
vehicles from armored fighting vehicles to tractors. 8 warships that dropped of troops on the beach.

The Pros And Cons Of Cognitive Therapy
Theory
The definition of cognitive relates to the activity that goes on within the mind, such as thoughts,
perception, and memory (Cognitive, n.d.), and behavior is understood as the manner that a person
handles their acts (Behavior, n.d.). Cognitive therapy (CT) focuses on how the processes that happen
within the mind and connects them with the physical symptoms that occur, and help to prove the role
that thoughts play in behavior. (Kingdon Dimech, 2008) The focus of behavioral therapy is to exclude
unwanted behaviors and strengthen and reinforce beneficial behaviors (Cherry, 2017). So, when the
two are combined together, the two are looking at how a person s mindset can shape the way that they
act, which is what cognitive behavioral therapy is about. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) began in
the 1960s through Dr. Aaron T. Beck, and is now the most common studied form of psychotherapy
(Hoffman, Asnaani, Vonk, Sawyer, Fang, 2012). This form of therapy has also been proven that when
handling any disorder that can experience an episode that through this therapy it can help prevent
another episode from reoccurring (Hoffman, Asnaani, Vonk, Sawyer, Fang, 2012). Through this
process, it will allow the patient to see that they are in charge of their behaviors and thoughts. It also
allows them to realize when there is a chance of a relapse occurring, so that way they know how to
help prevent themselves from not having control of their thoughts and behaviors.

Agriculture And The Industrial Revolution Of The Late 1700s
As the Earth s population grows at breakneck pace over the next several decades, who will feed the
world s people? Agriculture has undergone an extensive expansion and transformation throughout the
last few centuries, beginning with the Industrial Revolution of the late 1700s. New technology
allowed for better and greater methods of production. With the development of modern technology,
people try to think some way can plant less, get more. Many farmers plant only one crop in the same
place year after year. However, those against monocropping claim that it is very hard on the
environment and actually less profitable than organic means of farming ( Monoculture Crops Learn
About The Effects Of Monocropping ). In addition, the destructive nature of agriculture has recently
shown its hand. While our supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants are filled with abundant
food options, people forget to ask themselves where all this food comes from. Globalization has
opened up economies of scale and has allowed people to tap into different types of products, whether
that is food or clothing. But the availability of an increased mass market comes at a cost. However,
today, the modern farming techniques have grown into a headache for farmers and governments alike,
because they are the consequences of overproduction, industrial waste and other problems arising
from the modern methods of agriculture. Thus, modern techniques are harmful to environments,
animals, and humans.

  • 2. Quiznos Went Out of Business in Rexburg Why did Quiznos go out of business in Rexburg? Did you know that we are closing this week? she asked. It was the same lady who had taken my order and made the same sandwich for me every week and sometimes more... for the last couple of years. I almost couldn t believe my ears as I replied saying, Are you serious? When? The Quiznos that was once very close to my house in Idaho Falls was going under. It was the start of something that would truly prove to be detrimental to my physical and emotional well being. Now fast forward a couple of years. Imagine that you re in my shoes, with the knowledge that there is not a Quiznos in operation (that you know of) within 150 miles. Then you see it: the Quiznos sign. You walk up for a closer look, and find that the place is completely desolate. How would you feel? Would you ask yourself why? How? Because that is exactly what I did. So what is the most important thing in a restaurant? You d think it would be food. In a talk given by Thomas Keller, a restaurant owner, about what excellent food does to a restaurant, Mr. Keller talks a lot about the quality of food, and a customers experience. The experience that one has in a restaurant is something that should be completely about the consumer. If the consumer does not have a good experience at a restaurant, there is a good chance that he or she will not come back. The quality of the food at a restaurant can depend a lot on the quality of ingredients. It s important to always have the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Revivalists By Nell Vyse The Revivalists A friend of Charles and Nell Vyse, the artist William Stott 14 had lately leased one of the Cheyne Row studios, and not long after settling in he proposed that he should paint a conversation piece, depicting both the Vyses at work in their studio. Titled The Revivalists by Stott, the painting completed by 1921, and exhibited by him at the Royal Academy (RA 17) in the same year. It was an opportune advertising coup for the Vyses, as Vyse was showing two figurative works in the same exhibition. The following year when The Illustrated London News reproduced Stott s painting, The Revivalists (Fig. 42), the Vyses found that they had gained a kind of fame. After some ninety years, the painting is an instructive piece of evidence documenting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was in 1921 that Vyse temporarily put aside his fascination with flower sellers and produced the modernist image of motherhood he titled Madonna of World s End Passage (Fig 43). In the first half of the 20th century, an area of Chelsea, known as World s End, consisted of working class people living in poorly maintained housing, poverty, and deprivation. World s End Passage was within walking distance of Vyse s studio in Cheyne Row and their Fulham Road apartment. Within the scope allowed a ceramic artist, Vyse has attempted to depict a woman from such an environment. Additionally, the subject bears a striking resemblance to Nell Vyse, aged twenty eight, whom he depicts holding their two year old daughter Elizabeth in her arms. Of the known editions of the Madonna of World s End Passage, the decoration varies only in small ways. The subject s outdoor coat is most often seen painted green and the revealed lining a lilac tone. Her day dress usually has a complicated pattern of mainly blue and yellow leaves connected by a series of vertical lines and dots of yellow. Additionally, the babe s swaddling clothes are sometimes decorated either blue or lilac. • 4. Disadvantages Of Landfills Every day, all of the people in the world are making enormous amounts of waste. Most countries choose to bury garbage into or top of the ground, which is called sanitary landfills. In the United States, annually approximately 16 million tons are safely disposed in the 39 landfills (Advanced). They are thoroughly designed, structured, and operated in a way that waste does not give rise to any potentially hazardous elements to public health or surrounding environment. Therefore, the role of landfills is to contain waste and prevent it from being touched with area where people, animals, and the nature exist. Because of the relatively lower price, businesses and some companies can save a lot more money (Marie). It has positive effects on not only environment, but also human life. Trees, from roots to branches, are covered with shell mound. The piles of shells made by the Calusa create perfect habitats, forming a tropical hardwood hammock (Philip). Consequently, the utilitarian view considers landfills as a morally appropriate action. In rights ethics, everyone deserves to have individual rights and pursue their self interests. In terms of landfill issue, it indicates that each individual is entitled to know merits and drawbacks of landfills. In accordance with one s perspective, they can agree or disagree with the landfill establishment. In particular, self interest is a substantially significant factor to determine each different opinion. In Uniontown, Alabama, Georgia based Green Group Holdings sued all residents who were poor and predominantly Black people since they disapproved of a coal ash landfill establishment in community. After a long judicial dispute, eventually, the company permanently agreed to withdraw the lawsuit. • 5. Essay on Japanese Baseball Japanese Baseball Japanese Baseball has existed in Japan since 1873. It first appeared amid the social, cultural and technological spasms Japan endured on the heels of the Meiji restoration. The game began as a club sport; Japan s first team was the Shinbashi Athletic Club Athletics (composed mostly of people associated with Japan s first railroad which ran from Shinbashi, in Tokyo, to Yokohama). For a relatively good treatment of Japan s early baseball history see Robert Whiting s You ve Gotta Have Wa, The sport became popular with schoolboys and eventually won recognition from the government. In 1943, the schedule reverted to 84 games. In 1944, the schedule was drastically reduced to 35 games and only six teams. The 1945 season was never played. The total number of softball and baseball players in Japan is probably about even however, since there appears to be many more womens softball teams than baseball teams. The most popular form of baseball is nanshiki which uses a light rubber ball with dimples so that it resembles a large golf ball with the traditional raised seams of a baseball. The ball is a little harder to catch (because it is so light, it has a tendency to pop out of the glove). It is very popular with town and city leagues as well as with many youth and company leagues. For instance, pressure, current and voltage are good examples of parameters which can be monitored to notice the changing in machines characteristics. This monitoring method uses periodic measurements of a monitored parameter and implements the data collected against time. Generally, any machine has a period of time before stop called early life which is the period from the operation till it decays to the normal life period. Nine times out of ten we never remember these incidents, with only stories from relatives to know that they happened. I can remember mine with perfect clarity. At the age of one year old, one day before my second birthday, I sat in my day care with my hands leaning back looking up at the colorful displays. While it is illegal in North Carolina to not have heavy bookshelves mounted to the ground, this day care had chosen to forgo that rule and use them as room dividers. A little boy on the other side of the divider with sandy blond hair shoved his backpack into the cubby, excited to go out and play among his friends. One of the poorly taken care of wheels on the bottom of this bookshelf collapsed toppling over onto my hand, crushing almost every bone in the process and partially severing two of my fingers on my left hand. After 3 blood transfusions, a life flight trip to Duke Hospital, 3 later surgeries, and careful reconstruction, I am now left with a functioning hand albeit slightly deformed on the two severed fingers. These incredible doctors were able to save the nail bed although my middle finger curves over somewhat bent inward along with some scarring. This is what life would be like for me with a perfect hand for three days. Day one, I would wake up in my bed and sit up. I would excitedly run my fingers through my hair like most ... Introduction: Islam is one of the Universal religions of the world. As a religion, Islam is governed by an assortment of divine laws known as shariah of which its sources are mainly attributed to the divine revelations in the Holy Qur an and traditions of the Prophet (P.B.U.H). This package is what forms the basis of the spiritual, economic, political and social guidance of Muslims. Thus, all the laws of Islam have to be annexed to and borne of the Holy texts. However, the life of these courts came to an end in 1951 when the Local Courts Ordinance, Cap 299 came into being. The Local courts were confined to Africans and administered customary criminal and civil law and a limited number of statutory laws. Another development was witnessed in 1958 when urban courts were established by the Liwalis (Functions and Powers) Ordinance, Cap.408.Liwali courts were presided over by magistrates employed by the Government under the title of liwalis who also exercised executive functions within their own urban area. • 12. Descriptive Of The Starry Night The Starry Night is one of the most famous paintings in the history of western culture. It was painted by Vincent Van Gogh in 1889 and is recognized as his finest work. This artwork is oil on canvas and is currently in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. An interesting fact about the artwork is that it is painted from Van Gogh s memory, unlike his other works which are painted outdoor. This painting is the view from the east facing window of his asylum room at Saint Reme de Provence. The view includes the starry sky, cypress tree, village, and hills. This morning I saw the countryside from my window a long time before sunrise, with nothing but the morning star, which looked very big. wrote Van Gogh. The first thing I notice in The Starry Night is the sky in the background because it stands out the most. There are many shining stars, the big bright crescent moon and wind swirls painted throughout the blue sky using contrasting colours like orange, yellow and white. Through the swirling wind, thick curve lines are flowing across the sky to form this spiral like formation. Eleven yellow stars which look like huge fireballs lighten the whole art piece by contrasting with the cool blue, dark night sky that contains a variety of shades of blue and grey. There is also the crescent moon at the top right hand corner that is bigger and emits an even brighter light compared to the rest of the stars. Next, I notice the giant cypress tree on the left side because of how its proportion is a lot bigger than everything else in the rest of the painting. It blocks out part of the sky and the village located at the bottom. The village houses are tiny and painted in the shade. It is compact and is close to the hills and its surrounding objects which makes the houses blend in and become unnoticeable. Many elements and principles are portrayed in this art piece. To begin with, the first thing I see and grabs my attention is the swirling wind. Rhythm and Movement can be seen and it creates a flow to the rest of the painting in which leads your eyes to follow along the path of the swirl and brings you to the next subject. It allowed me to view the art piece up to down and left to right, as I started from the swirl to the stars ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This is one of the many inspirational things I have heard Bob Ross say on his show, The Joy Of Painting. Bob Ross is one of the most beloved American painters and is known by thousands of people across the world. His show was all about teaching his viewers how to paint and enjoy themselves while doing it. However, many of us tuned into the show not to paint, but to just listen to his calming voice and watch him form a masterpiece on a blank canvas. It is crazy to watch all the things he can do with a brush. He is also known for using the wet on wet painting technique which he learned from his mentor William Alexander. This is the process of putting oil paints directly on top of one another to create complete paintings in less than an hour. Bob Ross practiced this so much that he got it down to under 30 minutes for his show. His painting style is very different than mine, but I still love to watch and learn new things that I can experiment with in my style of painting. He accomplished many things in life, including finishing over 30,000 paintings and touching the hearts of millions of people while doing that. More recently, he has become very popular on social media, with over 67,000 followers on his Twitter fan page and over a million views on his YouTube painting videos. The ways you can find out or know something about the disorder is to do some research. Some people do not even know about dyslexia and how it affects your life. Then he can apply that knowledge to make sense of the meanings of specialized words beginning with that prefix, like polyhedron. Sometimes it s just an eye to mouth problem where your brain is not picking up everything (Osewalt). Researchers have been trying to figure out what causes dyslexia. Is there one weakness a single deficit that causes all of these issues? Or do the various issues have separate causes? People with dyslexia are not stupid or lazy. Most have average or above average intelligence, and they work very hard to overcome their learning problems (?). One of the main reasons that a person with dyslexia is called lazy is that they will give up and nor want to learn because the learning is too hard for them to understand. Despite the attention around Bartleby, much of the story also revolves around the narrator, the lawyer, who tells the story through his perspective; this implies that the lawyer s ideology and perception of societal norms shape the interactions between the lawyer and Bartleby but also how the story is told. Take for example, if the lawyer disregards Bartleby and fires him on the spot, this story would have ended rather quickly and been much different than it actually is. With this said, the lawyer s peculiar attraction to Bartleby s strange behavior can be explained by the lawyer s innate ideas of social norms and instruction that stems from the behavior of the other scriveners and his own experiences. Bartleby s behavior is considered a deviation from the norm because of the conforming behaviors of the other scriveners, Turkey, Nippers and Ginger Nut. As scriveners, they listen to their employer, the lawyer, and do as they were told. Their actions and reactions build the idea of society and how a scrivener should behave. These groups may also be known as advocacy groups, pressure groups, or lobbying groups. Berman and Murphy (2011) note that American democracy is influenced by a number of well organized groups designed to persuade government policy toward a particular outcome. Although many distrust these groups the reality is they are a link between the public and policy makers. Interest groups are formed for a number of reasons. Economic interest groups encompass organizations that speak for big business while trade associations may represent entire industries. Public interest groups, government interest groups, religious interest groups, civil rights interest groups, ideological interest groups, and single issue interest groups all try to sway their influence over public policy. Lab Report For The Purpose Of Gram Staining Gram Staining Formal Lab Report Miranda King Intro Microbiology Dr. Hendrickson 13 September 2017 Purpose For the purpose of the gram staining experiment was to learn this specific type of staining technique, as well as learn how distinguish the differences between Gram positive and Gram negative stains. This technique uses crystal violet stain, Gram s Iodine, Ethyl Alcohol, and Safranin. These dyes are used in order to distinguish between the different types of cells. For example, Gram positive staining will result in a purple color, and Gram negative staining will result in a red or pinkish color (University of Central Oklahoma department of biology, 2016). When a bacteria results in a purple stain it is categorized as a gram positive stain because the alcohol that was used to decolorize the bacteria was not successful. Its cell wall is made with a thick layer of peptidoglycan and holds the crystal violet color (Case, Funke, Tortora). When a bacteria results in a red or pinkish color, this means that it loses the crystal violet dye color after being decolorized and keeps the Safranin dye. It would then become categorized as a gram negative stain (Case, Funke, Tortora). A gram negative bacteria has a cell wall made of a thin layer of peptidoglycan and a thick layer of lipopolysaccharides thus holding onto the red dye (Case, Funke, Tortora). A Summary Of The Salem Witchcraft Trials The Reason For Mostly Women Being Accused of Witchcraft The Salem Witchcraft trials was an outrageous event that began in 1692, and ended May of 1693 seeing the execution of many people. Unfortunately most of the victims of this phenomenon were women. For the most part these women were accused for very trivial reasons, such as for being widowed, being of old age and living alone, or for simply collecting herbs and other plants. During this time in history women and men were treated very differently both as they should contribute in the home and in society, this would have presented reasons as to why women were predominantly accused of witchcraft, along with any religious beliefs. The Crucible by Arthur Miller takes place at a time of a patriarchal society, the roles of men and women were different, along with how they were treated overall in society. This contributed to the stereotype of women being the ones predominantly associated with witchcraft. When having different roles and expectations for men and women there are problems that arise. Such as the fact that if women were to stray from the social norm in Salem, then they would be suspected or accused of being involved with witchcraft. They were expected to attend to domestic duties such as spinning, sewing, preserving food, animal husbandry, cooking, cleaning, and raising the children. Further, A responsible housewife would also manage the family budget which would lead to manufacturing things such as textiles and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 46. The Pros And Cons Of Cognitive Therapy Theory The definition of cognitive relates to the activity that goes on within the mind, such as thoughts, perception, and memory (Cognitive, n.d.), and behavior is understood as the manner that a person handles their acts (Behavior, n.d.). Cognitive therapy (CT) focuses on how the processes that happen within the mind and connects them with the physical symptoms that occur, and help to prove the role that thoughts play in behavior. (Kingdon Dimech, 2008) The focus of behavioral therapy is to exclude unwanted behaviors and strengthen and reinforce beneficial behaviors (Cherry, 2017). So, when the two are combined together, the two are looking at how a person s mindset can shape the way that they act, which is what cognitive behavioral therapy is about. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) began in the 1960s through Dr. Aaron T. Beck, and is now the most common studied form of psychotherapy (Hoffman, Asnaani, Vonk, Sawyer, Fang, 2012). This form of therapy has also been proven that when handling any disorder that can experience an episode that through this therapy it can help prevent another episode from reoccurring (Hoffman, Asnaani, Vonk, Sawyer, Fang, 2012). Through this process, it will allow the patient to see that they are in charge of their behaviors and thoughts. It also allows them to realize when there is a chance of a relapse occurring, so that way they know how to help prevent themselves from not having control of their thoughts and behaviors. So, ... Agriculture has undergone an extensive expansion and transformation throughout the last few centuries, beginning with the Industrial Revolution of the late 1700s. New technology allowed for better and greater methods of production. With the development of modern technology, people try to think some way can plant less, get more. Many farmers plant only one crop in the same place year after year. However, those against monocropping claim that it is very hard on the environment and actually less profitable than organic means of farming ( Monoculture Crops Learn About The Effects Of Monocropping ). In addition, the destructive nature of agriculture has recently shown its hand. While our supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants are filled with abundant food options, people forget to ask themselves where all this food comes from. Globalization has opened up economies of scale and has allowed people to tap into different types of products, whether that is food or clothing. But the availability of an increased mass market comes at a cost. However, today, the modern farming techniques have grown into a headache for farmers and governments alike, because they are the consequences of overproduction, industrial waste and other problems arising from the modern methods of agriculture.
