advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in

- 2. PROBLEMS OF THE INTERPRETER INTERPRETING TRANSLATION His instruments are his voice and knowledge. His instruments are paper and pencil. He works with people and he is more social. He works in isolation and he has a nonsocial behavior. He exerts much influence in a group through the interaction. His influence is least through of a text. He is necessary as an intermediary for an effective communication. He is necessary for understanding of the meanings of terms commons.
- 3. BASIC ELEMENTS OF TRANSLATION SITUATIONS Occurs in social situations among at least three persons. These persons can be called: producer, interpreter and consumer. Producer and consumer together are clients of the interpreter, The interpreter is bilingual while his clients are monolinguals.
- 4. ROLES OF THE INTERPRETER AND SOME HYPOTHESES ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR The interpreter as bilingual Lambert says that the behavior of the interpreter is influenced for like he learned the languages and the linguistic dominance. The linguistic dominance has two consequences: 1.- Is easier to understand a language tan to speak it. 2.- The relation of the interpreter with his clients, he must separate them.
- 5. Ambiguities and conflicts of the interpreter role The interpreter serves two clients at the same time. He has some obligations with his clients because he is “the man in the middle” and they can’t be complatible. The interpreter’s position caracterized by role overload because he expectes to do more. Ekvall noted some conditions: The interpreter is unable to translate the speech when everyone talks at the same time. He has fatigue and he does mental strain when the translation is long. When the client speak a lot is difficult for the interpreter undesrtand.
- 6. Power and the interpreter His position is mitigated considerably because of the imposible interaction without his participation. His position in the middle has the advantage of power inherent in his clients. The interpreter has the control over the interaction that he develops and the triadic relationship. He has the ability to translate selectively because he can understand all and his monolingual clients will be unable ascertain. The power needs to be impartial in the interests of both clients,
- 7. CONCLUSION The interpreter have to dominated two languages to 100% to can translation in oral way. The interpreter is the mediator who often overtakes the expectatives of the client. He is a power figure because he can manage a good comunication.
