2. Essay On College Stakeholders
The key stakeholders of education include traditional four year non profit universities/colleges and for
profit colleges, state and federal government funding agencies, students and parents, and employers of
students who graduate college. The main alignment between non profit universities/colleges and for
profit colleges revolve around their desire for an increase in student quality, increase in faculty quality,
increase in student population, increase in prestige, and thus consequently an increase in revenues. All
types of colleges are trying to increase their endowment by raising tuition charges, admitting more
students, hosting fundraisers, and asking for donation from their alumni. The main policy that colleges
use to increase their endowment ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The companies give loans to students because of the high cost of tuition and in doing so, they also
charge a high interest rate. Students are then stuck in a difficult situation because they can either deny
the loan, thus denying their college education, or they can take the high interest loan, and be burdened
in debt, and receive their college education. Most students usually decide to take the loan because of
the policy of employers. Employers of students who graduate college align with non profit colleges,
for profit colleges, and government funding agencies with the idea of having a higher number of
students attending colleges. These employers want to hire people who are highly skilled in their
respective fields and want people who can apply their skills well in a corporate setting. These
employer institute policies such as requiring a minimum degree to apply for a job position and
offering internships to only college students, making it almost impossible for people who have not
attended college to obtain these

3. Similarities Between Germany And Tanzania
In this paper, the trade structure between Germany and Tanzania, and its impacts to the development
of Tanzania has been analysed. The study identifies that Tanzania s major export commodities to
Germany include primary goods and few intermediate and manufactured goods, while it imports
significant volumes of finished manufactured goods from Germany. By this structure of trade,
Tanzania is perhaps locked to concentrate on production of natural and primary goods; this has a
better outcome in the short term, but leads to several problems in the long term which can future
hinder its speed of development. In this case, Tanzania needs to establish strategies that can assist in
improving production of manufactured goods so as to boost its benefits ... Show more content on

The use of a qualitative method and a telephone interview analysis were important tools in obtaining
the data needed to answer the research question. Some opportunities identified include increased
employment; export expansion, cultural interchange etc. Risks mentioned included corruption,
bureaucracy and variation in commodity price among others. Tanzania needs to make effective use of
the opportunities since it has a high economic growth potential that could see its position advancing
from a less developed country to an intermediate or even a highly developed country. Corruption,
among other risks, is presented to be a major problem in Tanzania. The author agrees that combating
corruption is not an easy action which can be done by the government alone, rather through support
from all citizens. Nevertheless, the current government has already started taking measures to combat
corruption in the country. This was evident when the Tanzanian president started by removing top
director generals and other government officials that were either embezzling national funds or
practicing corrupting procedures. It s the researcher s hope that if this development continues, the new
phase of Tanzania is likely to come which will result in increasing trade performance and strengthened
trade ties between Germany and

4. Residential Schools in Canada Essay
Sociology
Dr.C.Barry McClinchey
Residential Schools in Canada Before the nineteenth century, the Aboriginal people had their own way
of teaching the children in their community, through organic education. In addition to providing
knowledge and skills, organic education kept their culture alive (Ravelli amp; Webber, 2013: pg. 237).
This is because the Aboriginal children would also be taught about their culture and its customs. But
the Europeans thought, Canada s First Nation peoples were in the way of the relentless onrush of
capitalist and industrial expansion (Ravelli amp; Webber, 2013: pg. 238). This is when the residential
education system was established. Since the organic education was what made the Aboriginal culture

238). These children were harshly abused by the nuns in these schools and were terrified of being
there. There were many sociological concepts applied in the film, Education As We See It. Language
is an important part to culture. Language extinction is a concept presented in the film. When a
language is lost, then its culture will start losing its organization. Killing the language of the
Aboriginals will lead end their culture, which is what the Europeans wanted. By forcing the
Aboriginal children to speak English, the language they spoke with their parents will be lost (Ravelli
amp; Webber, 2013: pg. 131). An Aboriginal that went to a residential school described how they
weren t allowed to speak a word of their language at all and they were restricted from seeing their
parents on a regular basis (Bob, Geraldine amp; Marcuse, 1993). The nuns greatly enforced that these
children not speak their language, so that they could completely forget about it.
Looking glass self was a concept that was applied. Looking glass self is how people describe who they
are by how others describe them. According to C.H. Cooley, have to envision themselves through
social interactions because the mind does not create the self (Ravelli amp; Webber, 2013: pg. 153). An
Aboriginal said that when she was younger and first went to the school, the teacher checked
attendance and when she said her name, she answered here in her language and the nun gave

5. The Pearl Character Analysis
The Pearl, had many different characters with faults. Those faults seemed very small as the story
began, however those tiny flaws quickly became noticeable and conflicting. After being exposed to
such bad and wrong, the characters begin to really show their true colors. They show who they really
are under the influence of their faults, whether it be greed or desperateness. The characters being
completely different yet still try to show some connection and do things they would not do otherwise.
Most characters need some sort of light to shine upon their dark dreams as Steinbeck says. There are
many characters and scenes to talk about in the story but the main thing to discuss are certain
characters faults in their goals, failures to see past grees, and their dreams. Strangely enough, there is
the well known doctor who would not see the ill baby at the beginning of the story till he heard about
the pearl Kino found. It was at this point when the doctor felt the urge to suddenly head on over to
Kino s town to check up on his child. This is a major fault that goes along with his character. His
failure is due to selfishness, as he wants the pearl to go to Paris. They flat out state before the character
was even introduced, And they knew the doctor. They knew his ignorance, his cruelty, his avarice, his
appetites, his sins (Steinbeck chapter 1). He pretends as though he d love to take Kino and Juana, but
it is well known he just wants their funds. He even gives the baby

7. Egalitarianism And Sexism
When we talk about sexism, most of the people will think that it has disappeared when 21st century
began where new thinking came to people s mind and changed the way they think.but I personally
disagree with this point, nowadays, sexism still exists in our world, not only in some underdeveloped
counties in Africa, but also in some well known nations such as Britain, U.S.A and many other
European countries. To me it is very strange that these countries were influenced by egalitarianism
way earlier than the countries in Asia or South America. Such history, however, did not completely
wipe sexism out from their minds , that s why we still sometimes see news about sexism in our tv. In
addition, some females become feminist in order to fight back because of sexism, in fact, females
often act as a victim of sexism as they are not as strong as males and may be even considered as weak
or incapable in some situations while females are actually able to finish the work just like males or
even better. So I think that people especially males should stop discriminating females just because
they don t seem strong, and females shall also stop doing it even the public still thinks it is rare. We
can t keep our society running well without different people playing their own roles. For instance, if
all doctors do not go to work, many lives will be in danger because they don t get the best treatment
from doctors who are supposed to help them. With that said, we also can t keep society running

that being a good wife runs so much deeper than making dinner, washing undies, and doing the dishes.
It s about prioritizing your family and loving them with all of your heart. As the years pass on, the
society became more open minded about the tradition stereotype gender role. The changes also
included both wife and husband were expected to help each other and the house chores was divided.
The wife is not only the main charged of doing all the house works and prepare food for the family.
Men were also expected to make some contribution to take part in the household works. Whomever
the person went home first whether the husband or the wife, the person is expected to clean up the
house if it s needed, prepare dinner for the family and expected to take care the children. Back in
1995, the wife encourages to wash the children s face, comb their hair and change their clothes.
Importantly, she had to reduce all the noise of washer or vacuum and encourage the children to be
quiet at the time when the husband came home because the husband had spent long enough hours at
his work. When he got home, it s his time to relax and enjoy his time freely without interfering his
moment. But in the 2010 guideline, the expectation for the wife is to encourage the kids to be excited

10. The Utilization Of Social Media Marketing
This report provides a detailed analysis of the significant similarities and differences between the
utilization of social media between Business to Business (B2B) marketers and Business to Consumer
(B2C) marketers. This analysis is necessary to combat the widely accepted notion that social media
marketing campaigns primarily serve B2C marketing only. To contest this false stereotype, this paper
will justify reasons that B2B social media marketing is not only pertinent, but is also crucial in the
success of companies to establish and maintain relations with customers in modern times.
Additionally, previous research has shown that B2B marketers will use media targeted at professionals
whereas their B2C counterparts tend to utilize more sites targeted to the general public for engaging in
one on one dialogue with their customers. Moreover, B2B professionals tend to use relationship
oriented social media technologies more than B2C professionals for the purpose of prospecting,
handling objections, and after sale follow up. (Moore, Jesse N., Christopher D. Hopkins, and Mary
Anne Raymond) This report will outline directives B2B marketers can take to better understand their
customers and their needs, develop their brand, and efficiently use real time data to gather analytics
and improve relationships. These directives derive from tactics B2C marketers have incorporated in
their social media marketing practices. Specifically, this report will examine Coca Cola s successful

11. What Makes Warren Buffett Successful
Success can be measured in many ways, not the least is ones net worth. Money is certainly a driving
factor for many in business and if used as an indicator of success, Warren Buffett unquestionably
would rank among the most accomplished. Born during the depression in 1930, Buffett started out
selling chewing gum and Coca Cola door to door, later finding work in his grandfather s grocery store.
Investing his savings, Buffett now serves as the chief executive officer (CEO) of a multinational
conglomerate called Berkshire Hathaway. Among the more well known company s held by Berkshire
are GEICO, Heinz, Coca Cola and American Express. With a market capitalization of $314 billion,
Berkshire is now America s fifth most valuable public company, behind Apple, Exxon Mobil, Google
and Microsoft. Managing of company of this size would be a daunting task for many, but Buffett has
made it abundantly clear in both his own words and those who have studied his success, the key lies in
good leadership. According to Buffett, a good leader must have a keen understanding of the industry
he leads; strong character and integrity is vital, and lastly, a good leader must have a profound
understanding human nature. Buffett hand picks his managers and trusts them to administer company
affairs. Buffet has surrounded himself with likeminded managers and the results have been
impressive. In his annual letter to the shareholders of Berkshire, Buffett communicates his vision and

13. Aa Meeting Experience Essay
I might be different than some people in this class, I ve had already had some experience with AA
meetings and NA meetings albeit as a young child. I had a parent who would attend them from time to
time and my sister and I would attend. While this was many years ago, the setting was still the same to
me as it was then.
Going to these kinds of meetings is something that is quite simple. You find out where and you just
show up when it is convenient to you. There s no signing in, you don t have to pay anything, or make
appointments. There are no meddling questions, no commitments. Your confidentiality and privacy
will be appreciated. You won t be met with a mandate to come back to any meeting. You can go to
multiple or as little as you wish. Many have no idea what to expect in their first meeting. For some the
idea can be quite intimidating, so you will be relieved to find that your fears will be unwarranted. AA
meetings are stress free, welcoming and open.
It should be no surprise about the type of people that make up these meetings. In terms of gender the
meeting I attended had just a couple of more males than females. There wasn t a huge disparity in the
number though. Race was different, there was not a prevailing race over another. I think that it ...

14. Persuasive Essay About Teen Pregnancy
Teen pregnancy......what comes in mind when you hear the words Teen Pregnancy ? Well, teen
pregnancy are young female girls that become pregnant under the age of 20. A female can become
pregnant from having sexual intercourse and after she have started to ovulate. Young female girls will
become pregnant without even thinking about the consequences and the type of environment the baby
will be in. Not because the young mother is poor or rich, but because they re not ready to take care of
another human being. Not to mention, pregnant teens are young themselves, so their also growing.
There are plenty of problems that are the cause of teen pregnancy, and many of those problems can be
solved.
One reason for teen pregnancy is the lack of information that is given to students in middle and high
school about sex and how to prevent it from happening. Also, the lack amount of talks from parents
that they can give to their teen. I wouldn t say there isn t any education given out to students about
sex, but there isn t ENOUGH to make pre teens and teens to fully understand and have the right mind
set about sex. Many schools won t really focus on the topic about teen pregnancy because it really
doesn t have much about academics and that s really understandable, but at the end of the day teens
are also human and do make mistakes. I believe schools should give education about teen pregnancy
as much as the other subjects. The topic of teen pregnancy shouldn t be left out because talking to
your teen about sex can definitely influence their lifestyle. Many teens would learn about sex in the
streets which it totally horrible because 9/10, the streets will educate them to have sex rather than not
to. The solution to this problem is that parents and schools should educate their teens/students with
more education about teen pregnancy, so that the number pregnant teens can decrease in near future.
Another reason for teen pregnancy is social media. Social media can have a huge impact on how teens
can view their lives by influencing them with a different kind of lifestyle. Not to mention, teens can
easily be brainwashed by what they see on there and think what they see on social media is good, is
actually wrong. Social media will have

political thought of modern Europe. No other doctrine of any other political theorist has been so
intensely dissected, read, reread and researched upon even after five hundred years. Machiavelli has
been accused and accepted, revered and rejected, celebrated and condemned very few political
theorists have actually managed to cause such diverse reactions in the minds of people all over the

Locke s identification of natural rights John Locke, one of the founders of our great country, had three
natural rights that he believed in life, liberty, and estate. These natural rights still exist today within the
American law. John Locke s identification of natural rights fits well with American law because John
Locke had a big influence on the shaping of American government and laws. The extent of liberty that
each American has is still the same as when Locke came up with this natural right. In America, people
still get to make their own decisions on their religious views, what lifestyle they want to live, their
political views, and how they act. American people still have the freedom of liberty to do what they
want and make their own choices. As well as liberty American people all have the natural right to life

17. Appeals In Advertising
Newspapers, Magazines, Television, Online... advertising is everywhere. Within the myriad of
advertisements displayed in front of viewers every day, there are appeals. Society neglects and
overlooks these marketing strategies that toy with their minds, resulting in skyrocketing purchases
after the release of an advertisement. In Advertising s Fifteen Basic Appeals, Jib Fowles identifies the
appeals he believes are implemented in advertisements. These appeals include sexual innuendos,
powerful images, or comforting displays which draw the audience into the desired product. After
analyzing the ads within the Vogue January 2018 edition, an extremely popular fashion and lifestyle
magazine, the demographics can be determined as a market with expensive taste. The graphics are
extremely feminine and contain Fowles s previously mentioned appeals, like the need for prominence.
Although not all of the fifteen appeals apply to these advertisements, Fowles s list is still valid and
does not need revisions as the readership of Vogue magazine is just a small sample of the population.
Through the appeals of each advertisement, this clear readership is developed, rather than using all of
the Fowles s appeals and not addressing the correct audience. When initially looking at Vogue, one
would simply see beautiful women and lots of expensive products. However, referring to Fowles s
article, the advertisements in the magazine display appeals directed at women so they will be drawn

18. Police Brutality Of The Police
To serve and protect is a famous motto used by the police department, however sometimes it is the
police that we need protecting from. Communities have the right to feel safe, this is where the police
undertake the admirable job of protecting the communities form danger. Police must perform their job
no matter the race or gender of the people involved. Police must also actively practice the idea of
innocence until proven guilty. More and more cases of Police brutality have surfaced among the media
greatly concerning the people, who is to protect them from the protectors? Even the innocent police
officers are now becoming fearful for their lives with people protesting by killing police officers. Blue
Lights by Jorja Smith was written about modern day street violence, but the song ultimately creates
and strengthens negative stigma s surrounding the police and corruption.
There have been countless cases of police brutality throughout the united states. United States has
history of excessive force being used in situations where it was not necessary, sometimes even
resulting in the loss of lives. Eric Garner was killed by police on July 17, 2014 due to excessive force
(marcus n. 54 58). Eric Garner cried out to the officer who had him in a chokehold I can t breathe

Stress and Learning: The Effects of Stress on First Year Students
A young college student sits at a mundane wooden desk. He s frantically working on an essay that he
has already spent days writing. He needs to finish this English essay so he can move on to work
regarding the speech outline that is due later in the evening. In addition to that, he also has two tests
the next day that require a few hours of review each. He never pictured college to be a cakewalk but
never did he imagine it would take this much to earn a decent grade. This is the reality for most
college students, especially ones in their first year. It s a difficult struggle but everyone that s been
through college has been here before: cramming for tests, spending hours writing essays, reading
chapter after chapter of thousand page books, the late nights studying... The stress is an atrocious beast
everyone with a degree has had to battle. Stress is commonplace among college students, especially
ones fresh out of high school due to the newly found freedoms they enjoy conflicting with the colossal
amount of responsibility gained at the same rate. How does all of this stress affect the process of

Napoleon is my good, trusting friend who fights alongside me as we work for what is right.
The fundamentals for the start of the French revolution were equality and liberty. Those in power didn
t stand equal in the Meeting of the Estates General. From the beginning, I always believed that
everyone should have a say in government. However, not everyone believes so since the Third Estate
is falling behind in power. The majority of the people in that Estate are commoners and peasants.

Whoa! The commoners of the Third Estate pledged never to separate and to continue to congregate
until a new constitution for France was written. From that moment, I realized that a revolution was
about to occur amongst France. I was certain. It was obvious.
The Parisians waged war on Versailles. Many people died during this battle, last time I checked it was
800 people. I ve heard that the main cause for this battle was for resources such as gunpowder and
weapons but I truly knew that we were at the start of a new revolution for our independence. I
certainly wasn t clear on the directions, all I knew was to fight them outside of the Bastille. I led my
brave warriors there hoping that they realized what they were getting themselves into. They knew.
They knew to fight for their right.
The March on Versailles was another attack; this time between the Parisian women and the Versailles.
I count a lot of ladies! Give or take 7,000! They re all carrying pitchforks and muskets! Last time I
went to the market, I noticed that the prices of bread had skyrocketed. This made times tough for the
commoners. Now as for this time, I stood aside from this battle since my Shepherd Instructor sat me
out on this one. However, I would want to stand for the liberty of the commoners. Their say in the
government means little but together as a democratic group is definitely something worth fighting for.

23. Narrative Style In Frankenstein
In Mary Shelly s book, Frankenstein, she writes with a narrative style. A narrative style is telling a
story. In the book Frankenstein is telling his story to Walton who is writing the story in a letter to his
sister, Margaret. The readers do not know Frankenstein is telling the story until the end when he is on
his death bed and the you he used was not to the readers but to Walton. Right after we see he is writing
this down in a letter to his sister. Frankenstein follows Frankenstein s story in order, only to go back to
catch up on what his monster did. The writing style is shown many times in the story including this
quote, ... and I myself was about to sink under the accumulation of distress when I saw your vessel
riding at anchor... (Shelly 184). In this quote, we read when Frankenstein sees Walton s ship during his
chase of his monster. In the beginning of the book Frankenstein starts back from his birth and
progresses to tell his life story. Chapter I starts with, I am by birth a Genevese; and my family is one
of the most distinguished of that republic. (Shelly 27). Mary Shelly s Frankenstein is an example of
narrative writing because the book is a story and follows the sequence of events in Frankenstein s life.
Frankenstein contains many quotes on revenge, regret, passion, etc. The first quote is when
Frankenstein brought his experiment to life. It was already one in the morning; the rain patterned

25. Christianity In Latin America Essay
While it is true that there is an overall decline in Christianity and religion in the west, there is a large
influx of it in places such as Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Why is this the case? To answer this
question, some background information on the spread if Christianity itself is helpful. After the
crucifixion and death of Jesus, many of his followers, such as the apostle Peter, went out throughout
parts of Europe, Asia, and reportedly parts of Africa to spread the word about him. The Apostle Paul
was perhaps the greatest these in his many missionary trips throughout Asia and Europe. While
Christianity was heavily persecuted in the Roman Empire under Emperors such as Nero, it managed to

In many Latin American countries, the original native inhabitants were invaded by Europeans looking
for land to discover and conquer and riches to be brought back with them. In many cases, Spanish
Conquistadors came in conquered native peoples, via superior weapons, or illnesses, and then
proceeded to enforce their ways on life on them. Christianity in Latin America, much like Africa,
would take root and spread throughout various countries. Although originally brought by force,
Christianity in these two countries has flourished over the years, and in a way, has taken on an identity
of its own apart from its past. As for Asia, Christianity was spread there earlier. As mentioned earlier,
disciples and apostles of Jesus did arrive to some Asian countries and successfully established
churches and converted some. However, as time went one, other religions in Asian countries such as
Hinduism, Buddhism, and others took precedence. In many cases, Christianity was illegal. This came
about mainly during the time of Communism in China and other places, but even in countries like
Japan Christianity was forbidden by the emperor. While Christianity has had a turbulent time in Asia,
and still does to this day, there are several missionaries reaching out to Asian countries, specifically
China. While Christianity is illegal there and it is hard to tell just how many Chinese are Christian,
there has been an increase in the efforts to spread Christianity throughout

important? It s a ritual for me because I had just spent a few minutes about a week before calculating

misconception is that club managers simply pick the the best eleven players to take their best positions
to make the best formation. However, there s many more dimensions to building a winning eleven

As the number becomes smaller, the longer the average it would take to find a required nonce, due to
the lower probability that a particular value will produce less than the target. This is further solidified
by the act of the bitcoin system of periodically adjusting the difficulty target so that the average time
the network needs to find a nonce is about 10 minutes. By doing this, as computer hardware gets faster
by the growth of technology regarding computer hardware over the years, the protocol will simply
adjust its mining target to make mining always last around 10 minutes thus creating an objective
regulation which does not give anyone an advantage, something the current system is consciously

Durey and Thompson (2012) explain that the act of balancing quality care and organisation efficiency
means that minimal resources are allocated to providing and improving appropriate Indigenous health
care. Unfortunately, this is a factor in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women avoiding culturally
unsafe care and aggravates the vicious cycle that leads to poor maternal and perinatal outcomes
(Kruske, Kildea Barclay, 2006). One of the recommendations made by the Close the Gap campaign
involves increasing the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care workers (Kelly et

care services and also promote cultural safety therefore improving health outcomes for the Indigenous
population (Kelly et al., 2014; Kildea, Kruske, Barclay Tracy, 2010). Increasing the number of trained
Indigenous health care professionals will require the support of institutions such as universities, health
services and organisations responsible for the distribution of scholarship funds (Kelly et al., 2014;

Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein, lived in a time period of great inequality between men and

Justine s presumed guilt and inability to defend herself against her accusers because of her class and

She also alludes to God of heaven to depict the measure that man would go to obtain power over
women, which questions her audience s ethics in whether God should be used to attain control over

It is the opinion of this essay that the character of Heathcliff evolves a lot more than the character of
Catherine. When we first meet Heathcliff, he was found on the streets of Liverpool by Catherine s
father who then adopts him into the family as one of his own. This would have been a dramatic
change for Heathcliff. Then after experiencing this quality of life until the death of the father he is
then cast into the role of a servant/labourer by Catherine s brother who despises him. Finally, when
Heathcliff hears part of the conversation between Catherine and Nelly, he hears Catherine plans to
marry Edgar Linton as she could never marry Heathcliff. It would degrade me to marry Heathcliff
now . (82) It is here Heathcliff leaves Wuthering Heights and returns three years later, a gentleman of
means and of polite demeanour, not what you would expect from him. Here we can bring back the
point that one s environment dramatically affects one s behaviour. Like Catherine, Heathcliff defies
social norms expected of his gender. After he returns back from travelling having acquired great
wealth and on the surface seems a changed man, he would be accepted into middle class society as he
displays the characteristics expected of him. It is well described in the book to enforce the dramatic

46 year old wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, were shot to death at 10:45 a.m while driving

a 10 second delay and exploded under the wheel of the fourth car. Two of the occupants, Eric von
Merizzi and Count Alexander von Boos Waldeck, were seriously wounded. About a dozen spectators

definition of music producer is someone who produces music. The definition of produce is to make or
manufacture from components or raw materials. In this case the components are music chords, drums,
instrument riffs and anything we can manipulate to produce sound, which ultimately we like to call a
song or music. Music is different now. The music consuming public loves anything that s good. A lot
of good music nowadays doesn t necessarily have to contain vocals. There are pieces of music out
