The thing that I find most compelling about this culture is how they have manage to stand the test of

It is a big undertaking to attempt to explain one s culture and world view in a few words. My culture
and world view began within the house I was raised. I come from a white, middle class family, with a
household of 5. My mom and dad both worked very hard to maintain a middle class living status for
their family, and made many sacrifice. Values that were stressed in my household were loyalty, work
ethic, family bonds, and character. Religion did not play a big part in my household growing up, and
lack of religion, or self reliance was stressed more. Both of my parents worked, however gender roles

Dream Should Be Seen As A Prophecy
Dreaming is something that everyone does, even if you don t remember it. Throughout history there
have been many theories about dreams. One of them was that dream should be seen as a message
coming from outside individual, mostly from God like creatures. And another theory is that dream
should be seen as a prophecy, being able to tell us what awaits for us in the future. These theories are
prescientific so today we don t view dreams this way. Freud then came along and proposed that
dreams reflect a conflict between the unconscious desires and the conscious mind. So, dreams are

The way that people analyze crime has evolved throughout history and has many different forms.
Today, I am going to briefly explain some of the different theories that are used to study the subject of
crime and criminality. What I will be evaluating these theories against will be small scale property
crime such as theft. Anomie theory states that with the idea of the American dream and economic
success that the stress created by not meeting the American Dream standard creates strain (Merton,
2013). Additionally, if social institutions are weak such as the family, then the economic institution

the relative deprivation that is conceptualized. This just adds support to how not being able to achieve
the American Dream can cause turmoil in the family life and can lead to more criminality. When used

meet the American Dream standard then they may begin to pursue other means to meeting that goal.

Huntington disease is an autosomal disease this means that the defective gene does not occur on one

from a parent who has it, is necessary to cause their offspring to inherit the disease. If one of the
parents has the defective gene their offspring will have a 50/50 chance of inheriting that gene. (See

If the offspring inherits the gene it is guaranteed that they will develop Huntington s disease at some
point in their life time, the disease does not skip generations. The defective gene is not present on
either of the sex chromosomes resulting in the disease being independent of gender. This means that

I had never been so tense and angry in my life. I spend the last seven months with an infinite to do list,
