Separation of Powers is a system in which power is divided between three
branches of government. These branches consist of Legislative (Congress),
Executive (President), and Judiciary (Supreme Court). Each one of the branches is
given a duty to fulfill. If one branch doesn t fulfill its duties, the other branches can
force that branch to fulfill it. There is another system that helps these branches of
government to check on each other and limit each other s powers. It is called
Checks and Balances. It helps each branch to limit the power of the other. Each
branch has specific duties. The Legislative branch is made to create or repeal laws.
The Executive branch executes and enforces the law and the Judiciary branch
interprets the laws. The Separation of Powers prevents the power going to one
branch. The system prevents the abuse of the power given to each of the branches.
The system was used to limit the power of one branch for a reason, now it is used to

Students whether they are in kindergarten, high school, or college all value
technology, not only in their own personal lives but in their school and when they
learn (Swan and Hooft 653). All learners want technology integrated into their schools
to make for a more diverse learning experience throughout their schooling. All levels
of students want the learnings and lectures to be more challenging, with meaningful
instructional activities that require multiple technological aspects (653). Most

Being away from college for three years you forget the basic understanding of
particular material f or me it was writing. Luckily enough while on deployment I
came across a class call Introduction to Writing. Writing 101 help me familiarize

opportunity that many military personnel are unfortunate to receive due to being
deployed, where most service members have to interact with their teacher via the

purple fruit, and the other contained orange fruit. Both fruits had similar antioxidant
activity, but the purple variety had more active components. The active components
in this fruit give prickly pear cactus the antioxidant qualities that can benefit the
body in ways that other fruits can. Another study that was performed examined
different prickly pear juices to examine potential antioxidant effects. The juices
picked were the most frequently consumed varieties: red purple, white green, and
yellow orange. Methods used determined in vitro effects which only give a rough
estimate of in vivo effects, but it was determined that the compounds and how they
interact give a better idea of how much of an antioxidant the fruit is overall. In this
study the researchers treated mice with a chemical that caused oxidative stress, and
given prickly pear juice in order to counteract the effects of the oxidative stress.
Blood analysis was used in order to examine the amount of protection the prickly
pear juice had given to the mice. The results determined that the red purple colored
juice was a better antioxidant than the white green and yellow orange varieties

novel, The Ink Bridge is compassionate, even when faced with the hard struggles that
an asylum seeker has. Omed expresses in many ways how he is humane, but he also
suffers a great deal. There are suggestions that he starts to lose his humanity, but there
is also evidence that he retains his humane quality all throughout the novel.
