What Is Love Definition Essay
Exploring the intricacies of the concept of love in a definition essay is a formidable task that
requires a delicate balance between personal interpretation and scholarly analysis. Love, being a
multifaceted and deeply subjective emotion, poses a challenge for any writer attempting to
encapsulate its essence within the confines of an essay.
The difficulty lies in the vast spectrum of meanings and interpretations that love holds for
different individuals. Attempting to define such a complex emotion demands a nuanced
understanding of cultural, psychological, and philosophical perspectives. One must grapple with
the ambiguity inherent in love and navigate through its various manifestations, from romantic
love to platonic bonds and familial connections.
Furthermore, the emotional nature of love makes it challenging to approach with the analytical
precision often required in an academic essay. Balancing personal experiences and sentiments
with a scholarly exploration of the topic can be a tightrope walk, as the writer must avoid
becoming overly subjective or overly detached.
Crafting a comprehensive definition of love necessitates delving into the historical evolution of
the concept, examining its portrayal in literature, art, and cultural practices. Additionally, a writer
must engage with psychological theories and philosophical musings on love, adding layers of
complexity to the essay.
Despite these challenges, the allure of deciphering the enigma of love often propels writers to
embark on this intellectual journey. The quest for a coherent and all-encompassing definition of
love becomes an intellectual odyssey, with the writer navigating through the labyrinth of
emotions and theories.
In conclusion, attempting to articulate a definitive definition of love in an essay is a task that
demands a delicate dance between the personal and the academic. It requires the writer to weave
through the intricate threads of emotion, culture, and philosophy, ultimately aiming to capture
the elusive essence of love within the confines of words. It's a challenge that beckons those who
are brave enough to navigate the complexities of the human heart.

The Struggle In Ankeny-Personal Narrative Essay
It was a spring day in 2011. My friends, Alexa and Ella, and I were bored. We were
trying to figure out something to do. We could go to my office and I ll take you on
forklift rides, my dad offered. I had ridden on the forklift multiple times, and I
always had fun, so I agreed with him. My friends did not know what it was like, so
they agreed as well. Then we took off to my dad s work in Ankeny. When we
arrived, we were met with a conflict: Ella was uncomfortable with riding the forklift
and she would rather watch instead. How about you help me drive the forklift
while Ruby and Alexa ride on it? my dad asked. We all thought that it was a brilliant
idea. Little did we know that letting Ella drive was going to be a big mistake. My dad

Comparison With Walton s Argument On Photography
And...
1: I agree with Walton s argument on photographic realism. I interpreted his
argument that the artist or photographer has a choice in how realistic their work is
and that they can be more skilled, or in the photographer s case avoid any
manipulation. However, it is more difficult for a painter to achieve this because they
not only need to understand the concept of realism but also be able to perform in a
manner that will allow the production of a realistic painting. A photographer, on the
contrary, needs to properly understand the functions of a camera to achieve realism.
Thus, I would agree that both a photographer and a painter can achieve realism, but a
photographer is able to much easier than a painter.
____________________________________________________________________________
2: Objects present in a photograph are easily distinguishable from reality itself
because the objects are not the objects themselves. Therefore, Walton states that
photographs have a distinct kind of realism. Photographs are always an image of an
object that really exists and as a result, viewers are able to see the world through
photographs. However, seeing through a photograph is a different perception than
seeing reality itself. When a viewer sees through a photograph, they are literally
seeing the object, but it is indirect as the viewer is not present in the actual scene to
view it for themselves. Therefore, a viewer is able to literally see an ancestor
realistically that is not really present and are shown what they would have seen if
they were present for the photograph being taken. Furthermore, I agree with what
Walton is saying about photography having a special realism. It is not as if the viewer
is directly seeing the scene in real life, but rather seeing the real scene as if they were
present.

3:
I agree with Walton that there is such a difference between what viewers see in
photographs and paintings. When someone looks at a photograph of a person, they
are seeing that person in a fixed way, a real representation. However, a painting of a
person, even if not intended, is not going to be as clear and explicit as a
Nonprofit Organizations
This study will examine total revenue for for nonprofit arts, culture, and humanities.
We will analyze if an increase in an executive director s salary increases the nonprofit
s total revenue. Our hypothesis suggest that if a nonprofit organization will
monetarily increase their investment in the executive director then they can expect
higher total revenue for the organization.
Introduction
Non profit organizations play an important role in communities by filling in the gap
of service need. These organizations are created to serve the public by financial
means that otherwise would not be available. Nonprofit organizations are funded by
donations, grants, and sponsorships that support the operation and mission of the
organizations.
An executive director is the equivalent of a CEO for a non profit organization. The
executive director of a non profit is primarily responsible for guiding the vision and
direction of the organization as established by the board of directors much like the ...

Being able to provide attractive compensation can assist in recruitment and retention.
The salaries of nonprofit executive directors depend heavily upon the organization s
size. Among nonprofits, both ideology and the composition of revenues
substantially affect executive compensation levels. The average salary for an
Executive Director, Non Profit Organization is $63,824 per year. Qualifications
typically include an advanced degree, and many employers require a master s
degree. Leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for this position, and many
employers prefer those who have 5 to 10 years of experience in management. As with
successful organizations in any sector, effective charities must recruit, develop, and
retain talented people. At the same time, they should ensure that these administrative
expenses remain reasonable and in line with the organization s total functional
Designing An Innovative Hotel Building Design
Before starting analysing an innovative hotel building design, the the word innovative
has to be explained in a greater depth. Innovation is a new or significantly improved
production or delivery method. This includes significant changes in techniques,

A goods or service that is new or significantly improved. This includes significant
improvements in technical specifications, components and materials, software in the
product, user friendliness or other functional characteristics. These upgrades, these

Renovation is not always the only way to add value to the business. Overcoming
consumers expectation and creating the memorable experience can be achieved
through the innovation, too. http://www.greenhotelier.org/our news/industry news

example already installed a 3D Hologram projection system in couple of their
hotels. They have also improved on their video conference system where 3D

the real person.
From revenue perspective of view, innovation helps to attract new cliental and build
the reputation such as being the first and only hotel with such innovative

change and diversify their experience to stand out from other brands. They have
developed an innovation lab to host customers and test design concepts, they ve
announced a new global content studio to focus on next gen travellers.
The modern world is changing so quickly with advances in technology and the the

Pallor is abnormal paleness or loss of skin color, which may develop suddenly or
gradually. Although generalized pallor affects the entire body, it s most apparent
on the face, conjunctiva, oral mucosa, and nail beds. Localized pallor commonly
affects a single limb. How easily pallor is detected varies with skin color and the
thickness and vascularity of underlying subcutaneous tissue. At times, it s merely a
subtle lightening of skin color that may be difficult to detect in dark skinned
persons; sometimes it s evident only on the conjunctiva and oral mucosa. Causes of

Essay On The Eucharist
When one thinks of the Eucharist, they might think that it is just Christ s Body and
Blood, and after we receive it, we can go along doing our own thing. That is false.
You see, the Eucharist is not just something you receive on Sunday, and forget about;
it is more than that. We are called to perform services in the world and in our
communities because of the Eucharist. This paper is about what we are called to do
after we receive the Eucharist, and what we as Catholics should be doing already.
The Eucharist enables us to come together as a Church every Sunday, and sometimes
more often than that. It also unites us with the angels in heaven and the deceased,
which enables all of God s people to participate in the celebration of Jesuss sacrifice.
As Catholics, we never really worship alone. At the Eucharistic Liturgy, we gather
with the young and old, the rich and poor, as well as millions around the world and
the saints in heaven, to celebrate Christ s sacrifice (Body of Christ, Broken for the
World).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One soon begins to realize that all people are children of God and need to be
treated equally with dignity and respect, no matter what their race, social status,
etc. Let me remind you: this is because of the Eucharist. The Eucharist educates us
to this love in a deeper way; it shows us, in fact, what value each person, our
brother or sister, has in God s eyes, if Christ offers Himself equally to each one,
under the species of bread and wine. If our Eucharistic worship is authentic, it must
make us grow in awareness of the dignity of each person. The awareness of that
dignity becomes the deepest motive of our relationship with our neighbor (Dominicae

Technology Is Nothing If You Don t Have The Right...
Technology is nothing if you don t have the right capabilities to use that
technology, stated Farid Fezoua, the CEO of GE Healthcare Africa (Guest 25). As
urbanization progresses and technology improves, new forms of innovation are
being developed by humans around the world. Contrary to the usual approach of
engineers to create and sell products for developed countries before developing
countries (Winter and Govindarajan 82), reverse innovation does the opposite,
forming goods based on the needs of developing countries and then improving the
products for sale in developed countries (Simula, Hossain, and Halme 1567).
Moreover, reverse innovation allows global companies to sell higher quality goods
for lower prices, increasing their competitive edge (Winter and Govindarajan 83).
While reverse innovation requires a person to think broader and more differently
(Simula, Hossain, and Halme 1567), cost, good enough, and frugal innovations are
dependent on the quantity of resources (Zeschky, Winterhalter, and Gassmann 20).
These three resource dependent innovations are different based on their varying costs
and amounts of engineering required to create or adapt the products (Zeschky,
Winterhalter, and Gassmann 21). First, cost innovations are items that achieve the
same, or similar, function as Western products for lower prices; the reduced price tag
is possible as a result of simultaneously utilizing better sourced, but lower priced, local
resources (Zeschky, Winterhalter, and

purposes can be extraction of organs, or tissues or even surrogacy or ova removal.
It can also be regarded as modern form of slavery. Trafficking is a lucrative industry.
It is second only to drug trafficking as the most profitable illegal industry in the
world. In 2004, the total annual revenue for trafficking in persons were estimated to

Parents may sell children to traffickers in order to pay off debts or gain income, or
they may be deceived concerning the prospects of training and a better life for their

Bradford Assay Lab Report
Abstract For this lab we will use Bradford assay and spectrophotometers in order to
determine the concentration of protein in commercially produced food products. The
experiment concluded the three given milk samples, breakfast milk has the most
amount of protein. After calculating and recording data, we founded that whole milk
had the least amount of protein, and breakfast milk ended up having the most protein.
Leaving Muscle Milk with less protein than the breakfast milk and more protein than
the whole milk. This research will help people in wisely choosing their intake of

First we began setting the spectrophotometer to 595 nm. We than label each cuvette
with numbers corresponding to the concentrations. To each cuvette we added 1 ml
of coomassie blue dye and on the blank cuvette we added 20 ul of PBS (Phosphate
Buffered Saline). We then added 20 ul of each standard to the respective cuvettes
using a new clean tip for each use. Each cuvette was covered with parafilm and
inverted to mix allowing it to sit for a total of 5 minutes. We first inserted the blank
cuvette into the spectrophotometer and pressed blank once right after we put in each
of the cuvettes with the protein concentrations. In between each cuvette we put in a
blank before the next step. After the absorbance were recorded, we created the
standard curve. We then graphed the standard curve, with solutions and their protein
concentrations. We then labeled each cuvette along with a blank. We repeated the
process from finding the standard curve with the known solution. We then used the
equation from the standard curve in order to find the concentrations of proteins and
compared. The concentration is the independent variable which is plotted on the x
axis and the absorbance is the dependent variable which is plotted on the y axis.

Iq Tests And Cultural Bias
Essay #3: IQ Tests and Cultural Bias There was a cartoon showing different
animals, including an elephant, fish, seal, and monkey, lined up by a tree in front of
a man behind a desk. The man said he was going to make a fair selection by giving
them all the same test. The test was that they all had to climb the tree. In this case,
the monkey probably was the only one that thought the test was fair. Welcome to the
controversy over IQ (Intelligent Quotient) tests and cultural diversity. In 1904, a
French psychologist (Alfred Binet) created the first intelligencetest in order to help
the French Ministry of Education segregate children that may have difficulty
learning in a regular classroom. At that time, he did not know that his test would be
the basis for IQ tests administered over 100 years later. He has a Stanford University
psychologist, Lewis Terman, to thank for expanding his work and creating the
Stanford Binet intelligence test that took root in the United States in 1916 and is still
popular today. However, along with its popularity came criticism. Critics see the
current version of the Stanford Binet test and other intelligence tests, despite attempts
to make them culturally fair, as limiting to individuals who are not from the major
social norm. They claim that cultural bias in test questions is why certain races do not
perform as well as others on the test. Psychologist Arthur Jensen stated the extent of
the controversy best in the opening to his 1978 article,

On November 4, 1979, more than three thousand Iranian militant students stormed the
American Embassy in Tehran, Iran (Kamps, 2006). Sixty six Americans were seized
and held hostage, causing a confrontation with the United States. This caused a
struggle between the two nations and hurt a president s term.
Secrecy held within the White House for about five months. On April 11, 1980
President Jimmy Carter held am meeting where he announced, Gentlemen, I want

Although everything was in place, the president was still very reluctant about the
mission. He didn t want any other issues with the Iranians and he wanted a nonlethal
mission, even if the Iranians became hostile. In his mind there was already a lot to
lose, especially with the human rights case with the former American regime.
In one way or another, the soldiers had infiltrated the Iranians to gain access to the
embassy. They grew their beards out, went unshaved, dyed their hair, wore Iranian
favored clothing with hidden weaponry and water pockets, and American identifiers.
They were down from seven aircrafts to five, and received new and reliable
intelligence about the location of the hostages in the embassy compound, which
would eliminate the need for some of the searching they had planned to do. They
had to cut down a few men, but Beckwith was cautious with his decision making.
Beckwith knew that cutting anyone from the mission would hurt the mission the
way. As they were prepping to retreat, catastrophe struck. Planes and choppers were
down; men caught ablaze, ammunition cooking off. It was a bad site. A mission to

Problem Statement What price should Sierra partners offer for a 60% equity stake in
Microarray technologies, or what percentage of equity interest should they receive to
be profitable if they pay $40 million?
Decision Criteria Chu is willing to invest cash on the basis of his expectations for
the cash flows. Arcadian s management believes they can grow at a rate of 7% to
infinity, but Chu believes a lower rate is more likely. The price that Sierra offers to
pay for the 60% equity interest in Arcadian must be pleasing to management of
Arcadian while not involving too much risk on Sierra s part. Our decision criterion
for the case is that our solution must have a return no less than our WACC of 20%.
Alternative Solutions Arcadian s management has used a very optimistic cash flow
for their future sales through 2015, but Chu had a much more pessimistic view on
their upcoming cash flows. For our solutions, we decided to look at the return that
Sierra would receive on Arcadian using 3 different purchase prices. Instead of using
the optimistic 7% rate that Arcadian had forecasted, we cut the growth rate back to
4% to allow for inflation and growth in a more conservative manner. Are three

well as the determinants, correlates and consequences of these actions which include
social change, policy development and implementation, improved coping skills, and
enhanced quality of life.
According to Gochman, it defined health preventive as those personal attributes such
as beliefs, perceptions, motives, expectations, values and other cognitive elements;
personality characteristics which include affective and emotional states and traits;
and overt behavior patterns, actions, and habits that relate to health maintenance to

This can include self protective behavior, which is an action intended to confer
protection from potential harm, such as wearing a helmet when riding a bicycle,
using seat belts, or wearing a condom during sexual activity. Self protective behavior
is also known as cautious behavior.
Illness behavior is any activity undertaken by individuals who perceive themselves to
be ill for the purpose of defining their state of health, and discovering a suitable
remedy.
Health behaviors are shaped through a complex interplay of determinants at
different levels. For instance, social support from family and friends at the
interpersonal level, physical activity is influenced by self efficacy at the individual
level while perceptions of crime and safety at the community level. Ecological
models suggest that these multiple levels of influence interact across levels. Also,
social support for exercise from co workers may interact with the availability of
exercise equipment at the worksite to lead to increased physical
Examples Of Conflict In The Outsiders
In light of the comparative study between Growing Up Asian in Australia and a
novel of choice, I have chosen The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton as my novel. The
Outsiders is a classic dramatic novel that was first published in 1967 and was set in
Oklahoma, USA. The novel is a coming of age story that focus around a gang of
young boys called the greasers, and is narrated by Ponyboy Curtis, the main
protagonist. The major conflicts that appeared in the novel were man vs man,
man vs society and man vs self( internal conflict). One of the main vs man conflict
in the Outsiders is the rival between the greasers and the socs. The greasers are the
east side boys who steal things and drive old souped up cars and hold up gas
stations . The greasers, due to their family background and physical appearance,
are being stereotyped as individuals who are poor and are provided with fewer
opportunities than others. On the other hand, the socs, are the west side rich kids
who come from affluent backgrounds and likes to jump greasers and throw beer
blasts for kicks . In the eyes of the public, the Socs are the social elites whereas the
greasers are considered the less privileged, second class citizens. The socs and the
greasers shares a sense of hatred against each other, they fight with each other both
verbally and physically. One of the instances that shows their conflict externally was
the Saturday Night Rumble . The two gangs moved in a circle under the light,
counter clockwise, eyeing
Civil Rights Movement 1960s
In this Final Paper I had a choice of four topics to discuss from. I choose the third
choose out of the four which is: (How did the Civil Rights Movement evolve
throughout the 1950s and 1960s? How did the message and role of figures such as
Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X impact the movement as a whole? Besides the
African American movement at this time, what other groups sought recognition? Did
the United Stateslook different by 1968 than it did a decade prior?). These are the
four question I will be discussing about throughout this final paper.
I am going to start off with this first question which is: How did the Civil Rights

As I mention in a pier question, that the African American movement was not the
only movements that was happing during the 1950s and 1960s. There were
several groups that were also hoping for equal rights during the 1950s and 1960s.
Some of those groups were children rights, gay rights, and of course women
rights. One of the large movements, other than the African America movement, that
was during this ear was the women s rights movement. In this age and time women
did not have the rights that we women do now. They had to fight and protest for
the rights that have as a luxury today. There were quite a few things women were
not allowed to do or it looked frowned upon when they did do them. Such as
working in a man s work environment and low wages, take birth control pills, and
even owning property. Men and women work in different occupations because of a
combination of forces, including culturally defined choices by workers themselves,
discrimination by employers, and differences in skill levels and qualities. Research
has shown that occupational segregation is an important aspect of gender inequality
in earnings and contributes to other forms of inequality as well (Cohen, Philip N.) .
Women wanted equal opportunities for jobs and equal pay jobs for those jobs. By
the early 1960s, changes began to take place on the national level

The Struggle for Power in The Yellow Wallpaper, Daddy, and Editha Charlotte
Perkins Gilman s piece, The Yellow Wallpaper (written in 1890, published in 1892),
is a semi autobiographical piece that, although believed to be a result of her severe
postpartum depression, illustrates the difficulties faced by women during the Women
s Movement. These difficulties are further illustrated by the similarly semi
autobiographical poem, based on Plath s father and husband, Daddy by Sylvia Plath
(written in 1962, published in 1965). These gender roles are then reversed in Editha,
(written in 1898, published in 1905) which has been said to be William Dean Howells
s response to the Spanish American War.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The initial description of this woman is of her stooping down and creeping about.
The woman in the wallpaper is a direct reflection of the narrator s confidence and
feelings of inferiority, and the change they undergo. Initially, the woman in the
wall symbolizes the narrator s fear of presenting herself and her opinions, and
being her husband s equal. She begins to display a building confidence in herself,
and an almost amused view of John s orders. When John tells her that she seems to
be doing well, in spite of the wallpaper, she has to stop herself from openly
laughing. It is at this point, where she is building confidence in herself, that she
begins to see the woman in the wallpaper more clearly. She states, I think that
woman gets out in the daytime! And I ll tell you why privately I ve seen her!
symbolizing her confidence beginning to emerge. Finally, she allows herself to be
fully confident; she allows her mind to fully explore the wallpaper. The lines, then I
peeled off all the paper I could reach standing on the floor. It sticks horribly and the
pattern just enjoys it, symbolizes the destruction of that which limits her. One may
argue that she has had a psychotic break, but the intention of these lines is to show
the narrator gaining confidence. As Gilman says herself in an article submitted to the
October 1913 issue of The Forerunner regarding her treatment: then, using the
remnants of intelligence that remained [...] I cast the noted
Victorian Age Comparison Essay
The Victorian Era is a time in history in which societal expectations of men and
women were formidably difficult to meet. Societal expectations made it harder for
one to succeed in a relationship, causing many people of the time to criticize the
societal norm. Among these people were authors Jane Austen and Christina Rossetti,
who each wrote a unique piece criticizing these beliefs. The two authors expressed
their opposing views to the time s expectations of male to female relations in their
literature pieces The Goblin Market and Love and Friendship. Christina Rossetti
wrote The Goblin Market: a piece in which the lives of two independent women are
depicted to be ruined by loathsome creatures representative of males and
relationships. Similarly, Jane Austenwrote Love and Friendship: a tale that depicts
two females whose lives come to a sudden decline due to the loss of their husbands
and their naive nature towards true love. Within both pieces, Rossetti and Austen
expose the hardship in attaining the highest profound connection in male to female
relationships through the barriers of power relations, social class, and the fantasy of
true love.
During the Victorian Era, a stable life was not always easily attainable. A female did
not have much choice in the choosing of her lifelong partner, as Austen exhibits in
Laura and Jannetta s cases. Both females had their marriages arranged by their
fathers based upon the future husband s success of societal norms (D:
The History Of The Internet Essay

How Did Asian Migration Affect Australia
How Asian migrants impacted Australia s political studies
Asian migration wave has had a significant impact on the Australian Political
Policies as Asian it is a significant issue because it helped to make Australia richer
and more culturally diverse today. It has also helped to change Political Policies to
benefit other migrants positively. The slides hat follow allow you to observe present
discussions and will also include an insight into the Asian Migration Wave, Impacts
relating to Australia s political policies as well as whether these impacts were
continuous or changed.
The Migration wave
For many years Asian Migrants were restricted from entering Australia and found it
difficult to migrate due to discriminatory political policies. The main policies were
the dictation test , the policy of Assimilation and the White Australia policy. The
main Asian Migration wave occurred in 1976 after the Vietnam War forced many
people to leave there homes and come here to Australia. These Asian Migrants
arrived in Australia by boat which was usually very over crowded. The cause of...

Asian Immigrants have gone from having a continuous restriction year to year then to
becoming a major part of Australian society. However, since the policy of Integration
in 1970 and the abolishment of the dictation test in 1958 Asians has had the
opportunity to migrate to Australia. This has been continuous since that major
change with more and more arriving every year. The changes in these policies were
made as Australia was becoming a more multicultural society and the Asian Migration
wave has altered Australia today by making Australia richer and more culturally
diverse. Asian immigrants have also contributed to the change in the Australian
Political Policies which has allowed Migrants to become more accepted into
Australia. Because of this no changes should be made to these political
Character Analysis Of Antigone
In the impressive play, Sophocles Antigone, translated by Dudley Fitts and Robert
Fitzgerald, the character that tends to receive more attention is Antigone the one
who was willing to die for her brother. Although most people may see Antigone as
the strong one, Ismene is the actual strong character in the play because she is able
to stay loyal to her state and leader in spite of her own sister asking her to disobey
the law. Antigone may be looked upon as the strong one but there is more to being
strong than just fighting. A strong person is also a person that goes against the
willingness of doing something because it s the right thing to do. Ismene is the
strong minded character in the play as she says no to going with her sister to bury
their brother together with honor. Fighting with your words is greater than
fighting with your actions. Ismene stood up to Antigone said that she would not
go through with the burial of her brother, because of what she believed wa right.
She did not let anyone tell her what she believes is wrong and that takes courage.
In the play Antigone is the one to be outgoing and rebellious in away whereas
Ismene, is more rebellious by not going with Antigone and instead being more
reserved and strong willed about what she believes is right. By Ismene not going
with Antigone to bury their brother she gives the audience a stronger feeling, like a
feeling that you don t always have to do what everyone else does to prove your
strong. By not following others doesn t mean you have less courage, it just means
you re able to stand up for what you believe and by what your morals are. Ismene
says They mean a great deal to me; but I have no strength to break laws that were
made for the public good . This quotes here is from Antigone trying to convince
Ismene to come join her as she goes to bury her brother, defying the law. Breaking
the law is also a crime, and Antigone s crime is that she is going to bury her brother
even after being told that, that s unacceptable. In this case Ismene the higher hand
over Antigone because she was able to say no and now it s up to Antigone and what
she wants to do. Being able to stay silent in a time where people are counting on you

The Voice, The Flood And The Turtle, And Genesis
The two flood myths, The Voice, The Flood, and The Turtle, and Genesis follow a
similar story line as they attempt to depict the punishment placed upon humans for
their misconduct on Earth. The myth tells the tale of how a certain figures suffer
the consequences of their actions. These flood myths present the idea of a select
group people receive a warning from a higher being telling them to construct a
form of shelter that will protect them from a flood that will be used to wipe out the
people, or monsters, that are behaving poorly. The The Voice, The Flood, and The
Turtle tells the story of a woman who bares four monstrous children. These four
children are seen as a threat to the people around them because as they grow up they
end up... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The general idea of both stories follows the idea of punishment for one s
unacceptable behavior. In the first flood myth, the idea of four monsters morphing
into one large beast is presented. This large beast is supposed to represent society
as a whole. When society adapts malicious intentions and negative traits, a higher
being decides whether or not a cleansing of society is necessary to improve the
planet. Similarly, the story of Genesis follows the idea that humans have begun to
behave in an irrational and shameful manner, so God creates a flood to punish the
humans who had behaved poorly. Now the earth was corrupt in God s sight and
was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people
on earth had corrupted their ways. Another similarity seen between both of the
myths is presentation of a selected family to survive the flood by receiving a
warning. This group is responsible for the repopulation of the planet and salvation
of the animals. For example, in The Voice, The Flood, and The Turtle, the voice
states: Now you have everything you need. Now you can live. Now you have
children and form a new generation. In the story of Genesis, God believes Noah and
is family are the only ones who deserved to live because they did not act in the
same fashion as their peers. Once the flood passes, God says: Be fruitful and increase
in number and fill the earth. Genesis and

Twin Cancer Studies
Cancer has been around for longer than people expect, with the first documented case
dating back to 1500 bc. Because of the complexity of tumors, the origin of the disease
was unknown until the late 19th century and the search for treatment or a cure came
even later. The 20th century saw the greatest progression of cancerresearch, with
twins being crucial to such studies. Twinstudies were used as an important method in
the field of cancer study.
Scientists and researchers did not pay particular attention to twins and zygosity
before the 20th century. One of the earliest and the simplest of assessments was
based on the question, Were you as children as alike as two peas in a pod? When

The Solace Of Leaving Early Essay
According to the polling, seventy eight percent of residents living in small rural
areas are members of a church compared to just sixty five percent of the national
population (Lyons and Gallup). Lyons, an education and youth editor with Gallup,
goes on to suggest the reason behind these findings can more than likely be
attributed to the fact that for many small town residents, the church is often the only
access to community support, counseling, and aid to the poor that is available to
them. Moreover, it is evident that Jack held religiosity at the center of his life
because he repeatedly relied on religious ideals to justify his actions. For example,

The isolation, lack of resources, and often secular beliefs are often ignored as we
increasingly place our focus on large metropolitan areas. Not to say that every
woman in a small town faces the same issues or that every man living in small

work, is what will ultimately aid in eliminating the destructive forces that reside
behind America s own closed doors. Most importantly, Alice and Jack s relationship
is one that is seen all too often across the globe, but adding to insult is the fact that it
is often the people living in silence that need help the most. We ve heard the saying
that the wheel that squeaks the loudest gets the oil, but it is through Kimmel s
choices concerning Jack and Alice that we are reminded of the dangers in equating
silence to sign of well beings. As we come to learn, a wheel does not have to squeak
to malfunction. Small towns are America s silent wheel, and Kimmel is certainly

Ethiopi A Of Ecological And Climatic Condition Essay
Ethiopia is endowed with variety of ecological and climatic condition. It is also
home to some of the most diverse flora and fauna in Africa. This makes the country
to lead in honey and beeswax production in Africa though major of its production is
traditional (Allafrica.com, 2009).
Honey value chain played a significant role in the economy of the country by
engaging around two million farm households. It also engaged different actors
participated in different value adding activities which enables them to higher the
price of the product and increases the bargaining power.
Finance service/Credit is an important instrument to improve the welfare of the poor
through enhancing their productive capacity (Okurut et al., 2004) and it also
motivates them to participate in further value adding activities rather than directly
sell it in order to meet their current financial need. Though it is crucial to small scale
producers to participate in value adding activities, in Ethiopia its supply for improved
apiculture is limited (ILRI, 2011).
In a given value chain, loans and credits may flow by either when the financing
institution finance one end of the value chain, which then channels funds to the other
links or they can finance value chain partners directly.
This study identifies different actors participating in honey value of the Damot Gale

The Background Of Samuel Adams And The Boston Tea

Did you know one of the most famous historians was actually very poor and
struggled to live? His name was Samuel Adams and he was born in 1722. He grew
up in a very rich family until his mom and dad died and he took over the family
business. Witch he fails at miserably and he was in deep debt. until he sold the
company. The most tragic thing happened, his wife died and he had to take care of
two children all by himself. He quickly married a new wife and the new wife
accepted clothing from the neighbors because their family could not afford new
clothing. Now that we have the background of Samuel Adamslet s talk about how
Samuel Adams was famous. He was famous for leading the Boston tea partyand being
part of continental congress. Also, he still acted when he was very poor and he
took part in continental congress not because he had to but because he wanted to
(Britannica School, Encyclopædia Britannica). Let s dig right in and say that the
Boston tea party was the start of the revolutionary war. If the Boston Tea Party
never happened the colonist would not have started the tension between the colonist
and the British. And did you know Samuel Adams was the leader of the Boston Tea
Party? Also, the Boston Tea Party sparked the bandwagon of dumping taxed tea into
the sea. Samuel Adams was one of many that dumped tea into the sea. But what
made him famous is that he was the leader of the Boston Tea Party. He also was the
leader of the sons of liberty. Another reason why
Essay on Theory and Practice in Post-Colonial Literatures
Theory and Practice in Post Colonial Literatures Introduction More than three
quarters of the people living in the world today have had their lives shaped by the
experience of colonialism. It is easy to see how important this has been in the
political and economic spheres, but its general influence on the perceptual
frameworks of contemporary peoples is often less evident. Literature offers one of
the most important ways in which these new perceptions are expressed and it is in
their writing, and through other arts such as painting, sculpture, music, and dance
that the day to day realities experienced by colonized peoples have been most
powerfully encoded and so profoundly influential. What are post colonial... Show

This is because there is a continuity of preoccupations throughout the historical
process initiated by European imperial aggression. We also suggest that it is most
appropriate as the term for the new cross cultural criticism which has emerged in
recent years and for the discourse through which this is constituted. In this sense this
book is concerned with the world as it exists during and after the period of European
imperial domination and the effects of this on contemporary literatures. So the
literatures of African countries, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Caribbean countries,
India, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Pacific Island
countries, and Sri Lanka are all post colonial literatures. The literature or the USA
should also be placed in this category. Perhaps because of its current position of
power, and the neo colonizing role it has played, its post colonial nature has not been
generally recognized. But its relationship with the metropolitan centre as it evolved
over the last two centuries has been paradigmatic for post colonial literatures
everywhere. What each of these literatures has in common beyond their special and
distinctive regional characteristics is that they emerged in their present form out of
the experience of colonization and asserted themselves by foregrounding the tension
with the imperial power, and by emphasizing their differences from the assumptions
of the imperial centre. It is this
The Alchemist By Paulo Coelho Analysis
Robert Frost, an American poet, wrote in his poem, The Road Not Taken, Two
roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made
all the difference. Santiago of Paulo Coelho s The Alchemist has that split road,
two decisions: one that is unpredictable and one that is safe. If he makes the safe
and popular choice, he knows he will regret it and always wonder what would have
happened. If he makes the unpredictable choice, the one that is chosen less, he will
follow his heart, and find his treasure. Santiago decides, and is following his heart
through his journey to the Pyramids to find his treasure. In the novel, The Alchemist,
by Paulo Coelho, Santiago learns, Remember where your heart is, there you will find
your treasure. First, Santiago learns a valuable lesson about selfawareness. Next,
Santiago understands a new feeling he is experiencing. Last, Santiago unexpectedly
learns a new truth about his treasure.
To begin, Santiago learns a valuable lesson about self awareness. For example,
while Santiago is talking to King Melchizedek, he tells Santiago a story of a wise
man who gave a spoon with oil to a boy, and told him to walk around the palace.
The boy does, but does not see any of the wonderful things around him, yet when
he looks at those things, he drops the oil, Santiago learns the lesson from the story:
The secret of happiness is to see all of the marvels of the world, and never to forget
the drops of oil in the spoon (35).

How Does Mark Antony Use Ethos In Julius Caesar
The speeches in Julius Caesar written by William Shakespeare takes place after the
death of Caesar, the main characters consist of Brutus and Mark Antony. Both
characters give persuasive speeches about how one thought Caesar was a tyrant
and how the other explained how Caesar only wanted what s best for the people.
The main purpose of both of the speeches we re to get the people of Rome on their
side. In Shakespeare s tragedy of Julius Caesar, Mark Antonydelivers a more effective
rhetorical speech through his use of ethos, logos, and pathos.
Although Mark Antony won the argument over Brutus one of the factors was he s
use of ethos. Brutus use of ethos was not as strong nor effective as Antony s. These

States to star in the Ziegfield Follies proved disastrous, despite the fact that she
was a major celebrity in Europe. American audiences rejected the idea of a black

cruel (The New York Times called her a quot;Negro wench quot;), and Josephine
returned to Europe heartbroken. She served France during World War II in many
ways. She performed for the troops, and was an honorable correspondent for the
French Resistance (undercover work included smuggling secret messages written
on her music sheetsin invisible ink) and a sub lieutenant in the Women s Auxiliary
Air Force. She was awarded the Medal of the Resistance and awarded into the
Legion of Honor by the French government for hard work and dedication.
Josephine visited the United States again during the 50s and 60s with renewed
vigor to fight racism. When New York s popular Stork Club refused her service she
engaged a head on media battle with pro segregation columnist Walter Winchell. The
NAACP named May 20 Josephine Baker Day in honor of her efforts. During this time
she began adopting children, forming a
How The Monty Python Crew Combated Piracy
How the Monty Python Crew Combated Piracy Monty Python and the Holy Grail
is the classic 1975 British slapstick comedy that received 95% rating on Rotten
Tomatoes. In 2009, the movie, other series, and many of the popular clip scenes
were uploaded to YouTube, costing the production Crew lots revenue. To combat
piracy, the crew decided to created its own channel on YouTube. The following is
in the about section of the channel: For 7 years you YouTubers have been ripping
us off, taking tens of thousands of our videos and putting them on YouTube. Now
the tables are turned. It s time for us to take matters into our own hands....No more
of those crap quality videos you ve been posting. We re giving you the real thing
HQ videos delivered straight from our vault. What s more, we re taking our most
viewed clips and uploading brand new HQ versions. And what s even more, we re...

Consequently, the marginal benefits of getting rid of surplus and enjoying incoming
revenue were much greater than the marginal cost of producing the content.
Furthermore, at the new equilibrium price and quantity, the Python crew was raking
in greater producer surplus. Overall, the action created a positive producer
externality by creating better public relations than threatening legal actions against
YouTubers who illegally uploaded the videos. What the Monty Python did was
unheard of before. This is a very creative idea to combat piracy in the modern age
of technology while profiting from good relation. The idea clearly illustrates one of
the factors that affect the demand curve: Information. Through a classic all else
equals , we can see that a rightward shift in demand while supply stays constant
brings great benefits for both consumers and producers. In the end, the Monty Python
Channel has over 129 million views and five hundred thousand subscribers as of Feb.
Pratt s Architectural Style
The different architectural styles and use of public space throughout Pratt Institute
expresses both the function of the university and its relation to Clinton Hill and to
changes occurring in New York City. Pratt s original campus consisted of three brick
Romanesque Revival styled buildings that were built adjacent to one another, the
Main Building, the East Hall Building, and the Student Union, and Pratt Institute
Library, which along with the Rose Garden, were available for public usage.
Characterized by its extravagant masonry, massive appearance, rounded arch
windows, and arcaded entrances, the Main Building was designed after the
Romanesque Revival Style to reflect the wealth and sophistication of the newly rich,
like Charles Pratt, the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
, Like the Main Building, the Student Union and East Hall buildings were both
designed after the Romanesque Revival style in order to show the wealth of Charles
Pratt and to help differentiate the campus from the surrounding Clinton Hill
neighborhood. Because Pratt Institute s privately owned, steam powered electrical
generating plant is in the East Hall building, the building has a large brick
smokestack, or chimney, for the release of steam. In contrast to Romanesque Revival
style of the Main, East Hall, and Student Union buildings, the Pratt Institute Library
was designed after the Renaissance Revival style in order to portray its function as a
public library accessible to both students and the local residents. Like how Pratt
Institute was originally found to provide the working class and immigrants the
opportunity to attend college and teach them skills applicable to New York City s
changing economy, the Pratt Institute Library was built to be functionally accessible
to everyone, regardless of education or socioeconomic
Nfl Hbs Case Study Essay
NFL Case Study
1. Discuss the factors that have resulted in the NFL becoming America s Game and
the most popular sport in the country?
The fundamental reason for NFL becoming America s Game and the most popular
sport in the country is because the NFL was able to market the sport as an
entertainment business.
Leveraging television and the fact that American football was only played in America,
the
NFL was able to create a holiday feel that was unique and that American s took pride
in, as a result paid more attention to the sport. Another contributing factor was to
control the quality of the product. Making sure that each team had the resources to
perform professionally and one team could not gain absolute advantage was ... Show

For example Formula One, as teams survive on sponsorship revenue, teams with
manufacturer support have a greater budget to invest in drivers and engineers,
ultimately having a more competitive package, and their greater spending is also
rewarded by greater commercial revenue as the revenue is granted based on
performance rather than pooling. As a result, domination by a few teams is extremely
normal in Formula One.
3. Discuss Peter O Reilly s marketing/brand strategy discussed in the case along
with Alex and Matt s comments in class. What do you think has made it successful
and offer other ideas on how the NFL can more effectively build the NFL brand and
continue to grow its fan base?
Peter O Reilly s marketing/ brand strategy s main objective was to generate pride
amongst individual, families, cities and the nation. Americans develop a sense of
ownership to the sport as a result invest must more interest into it. The NFL is able to
leverage the fact that
American football is not a global sport but has global audience in terms of numbers.
By marketing the brand as intense (delivering edge of your seat, heart pounding
excitement ),
meaningful (being much more than just a game ), and unifying (forging bonds
among families, friends, and even strangers, uniting entire cities and even the nation
). It defines part of American culture and habits, as a result the longer the sport lasts
the more engrained it is in American culture, the more

What Is Love Definition Essay.pdf

  • 1. What Is Love Definition Essay Exploring the intricacies of the concept of love in a definition essay is a formidable task that requires a delicate balance between personal interpretation and scholarly analysis. Love, being a multifaceted and deeply subjective emotion, poses a challenge for any writer attempting to encapsulate its essence within the confines of an essay. The difficulty lies in the vast spectrum of meanings and interpretations that love holds for different individuals. Attempting to define such a complex emotion demands a nuanced understanding of cultural, psychological, and philosophical perspectives. One must grapple with the ambiguity inherent in love and navigate through its various manifestations, from romantic love to platonic bonds and familial connections. Furthermore, the emotional nature of love makes it challenging to approach with the analytical precision often required in an academic essay. Balancing personal experiences and sentiments with a scholarly exploration of the topic can be a tightrope walk, as the writer must avoid becoming overly subjective or overly detached. Crafting a comprehensive definition of love necessitates delving into the historical evolution of the concept, examining its portrayal in literature, art, and cultural practices. Additionally, a writer must engage with psychological theories and philosophical musings on love, adding layers of complexity to the essay. Despite these challenges, the allure of deciphering the enigma of love often propels writers to embark on this intellectual journey. The quest for a coherent and all-encompassing definition of love becomes an intellectual odyssey, with the writer navigating through the labyrinth of emotions and theories. In conclusion, attempting to articulate a definitive definition of love in an essay is a task that demands a delicate dance between the personal and the academic. It requires the writer to weave through the intricate threads of emotion, culture, and philosophy, ultimately aiming to capture the elusive essence of love within the confines of words. It's a challenge that beckons those who are brave enough to navigate the complexities of the human heart. For those seeking assistance in navigating this challenging terrain, it's worth noting that similar essays and much more can be ordered on HelpWriting.net. • 2. The Struggle In Ankeny-Personal Narrative Essay It was a spring day in 2011. My friends, Alexa and Ella, and I were bored. We were trying to figure out something to do. We could go to my office and I ll take you on forklift rides, my dad offered. I had ridden on the forklift multiple times, and I always had fun, so I agreed with him. My friends did not know what it was like, so they agreed as well. Then we took off to my dad s work in Ankeny. When we arrived, we were met with a conflict: Ella was uncomfortable with riding the forklift and she would rather watch instead. How about you help me drive the forklift while Ruby and Alexa ride on it? my dad asked. We all thought that it was a brilliant idea. Little did we know that letting Ella drive was going to be a big mistake. My dad slid
  • 3. Comparison With Walton s Argument On Photography And... 1: I agree with Walton s argument on photographic realism. I interpreted his argument that the artist or photographer has a choice in how realistic their work is and that they can be more skilled, or in the photographer s case avoid any manipulation. However, it is more difficult for a painter to achieve this because they not only need to understand the concept of realism but also be able to perform in a manner that will allow the production of a realistic painting. A photographer, on the contrary, needs to properly understand the functions of a camera to achieve realism. Thus, I would agree that both a photographer and a painter can achieve realism, but a photographer is able to much easier than a painter. ____________________________________________________________________________ 2: Objects present in a photograph are easily distinguishable from reality itself because the objects are not the objects themselves. Therefore, Walton states that photographs have a distinct kind of realism. Photographs are always an image of an object that really exists and as a result, viewers are able to see the world through photographs. However, seeing through a photograph is a different perception than seeing reality itself. When a viewer sees through a photograph, they are literally seeing the object, but it is indirect as the viewer is not present in the actual scene to view it for themselves. Therefore, a viewer is able to literally see an ancestor realistically that is not really present and are shown what they would have seen if they were present for the photograph being taken. Furthermore, I agree with what Walton is saying about photography having a special realism. It is not as if the viewer is directly seeing the scene in real life, but rather seeing the real scene as if they were present. ____________________________________________________________________________ 3: I agree with Walton that there is such a difference between what viewers see in photographs and paintings. Technology is nothing if you don t have the right capabilities to use that technology, stated Farid Fezoua, the CEO of GE Healthcare Africa (Guest 25). As urbanization progresses and technology improves, new forms of innovation are being developed by humans around the world. Contrary to the usual approach of engineers to create and sell products for developed countries before developing countries (Winter and Govindarajan 82), reverse innovation does the opposite, forming goods based on the needs of developing countries and then improving the products for sale in developed countries (Simula, Hossain, and Halme 1567). Moreover, reverse innovation allows global companies to sell higher quality goods for lower prices, increasing their competitive edge (Winter and Govindarajan 83). While reverse innovation requires a person to think broader and more differently (Simula, Hossain, and Halme 1567), cost, good enough, and frugal innovations are dependent on the quantity of resources (Zeschky, Winterhalter, and Gassmann 20). These three resource dependent innovations are different based on their varying costs and amounts of engineering required to create or adapt the products (Zeschky, Winterhalter, and Gassmann 21). First, cost innovations are items that achieve the same, or similar, function as Western products for lower prices; the reduced price tag is possible as a result of simultaneously utilizing better sourced, but lower priced, local resources (Zeschky, Winterhalter, and

We then added 20 ul of each standard to the respective cuvettes using a new clean tip for each use. Each cuvette was covered with parafilm and inverted to mix allowing it to sit for a total of 5 minutes. We first inserted the blank cuvette into the spectrophotometer and pressed blank once right after we put in each of the cuvettes with the protein concentrations. In between each cuvette we put in a blank before the next step. After the absorbance were recorded, we created the standard curve. We then graphed the standard curve, with solutions and their protein concentrations. We then labeled each cuvette along with a blank. The man said he was going to make a fair selection by giving them all the same test. The test was that they all had to climb the tree. In this case, the monkey probably was the only one that thought the test was fair. Welcome to the controversy over IQ (Intelligent Quotient) tests and cultural diversity. In 1904, a French psychologist (Alfred Binet) created the first intelligencetest in order to help the French Ministry of Education segregate children that may have difficulty learning in a regular classroom. At that time, he did not know that his test would be the basis for IQ tests administered over 100 years later. He has a Stanford University psychologist, Lewis Terman, to thank for expanding his work and creating the Stanford Binet intelligence test that took root in the United States in 1916 and is still popular today. However, along with its popularity came criticism. Critics see the current version of the Stanford Binet test and other intelligence tests, despite attempts to make them culturally fair, as limiting to individuals who are not from the major social norm. They claim that cultural bias in test questions is why certain races do not perform as well as others on the test. Psychologist Arthur Jensen stated the extent of the controversy best in the opening to his 1978 article,

Societal expectations made it harder for one to succeed in a relationship, causing many people of the time to criticize the societal norm. Among these people were authors Jane Austen and Christina Rossetti, who each wrote a unique piece criticizing these beliefs. The two authors expressed their opposing views to the time s expectations of male to female relations in their literature pieces The Goblin Market and Love and Friendship. Christina Rossetti wrote The Goblin Market: a piece in which the lives of two independent women are depicted to be ruined by loathsome creatures representative of males and relationships. Similarly, Jane Austenwrote Love and Friendship: a tale that depicts two females whose lives come to a sudden decline due to the loss of their husbands and their naive nature towards true love. Within both pieces, Rossetti and Austen expose the hardship in attaining the highest profound connection in male to female relationships through the barriers of power relations, social class, and the fantasy of true love. During the Victorian Era, a stable life was not always easily attainable. A female did not have much choice in the choosing of her lifelong partner, as Austen exhibits in Laura and Jannetta s cases. • 25. Character Analysis Of Antigone In the impressive play, Sophocles Antigone, translated by Dudley Fitts and Robert Fitzgerald, the character that tends to receive more attention is Antigone the one who was willing to die for her brother. Although most people may see Antigone as the strong one, Ismene is the actual strong character in the play because she is able to stay loyal to her state and leader in spite of her own sister asking her to disobey the law. Antigone may be looked upon as the strong one but there is more to being strong than just fighting. A strong person is also a person that goes against the willingness of doing something because it s the right thing to do. Ismene is the strong minded character in the play as she says no to going with her sister to bury their brother together with honor. Fighting with your words is greater than fighting with your actions. Ismene stood up to Antigone said that she would not go through with the burial of her brother, because of what she believed wa right. She did not let anyone tell her what she believes is wrong and that takes courage. In the play Antigone is the one to be outgoing and rebellious in away whereas Ismene, is more rebellious by not going with Antigone and instead being more reserved and strong willed about what she believes is right. By Ismene not going with Antigone to bury their brother she gives the audience a stronger feeling, like a feeling that you don t always have to do what everyone else does to prove your strong. By not following others doesn t mean you have less courage, it just means you re able to stand up for what you believe and by what your morals are. Ismene says They mean a great deal to me; but I have no strength to break laws that were made for the public good . This quotes here is from Antigone trying to convince Ismene to come join her as she goes to bury her brother, defying the law. Breaking the law is also a crime, and Antigone s crime is that she is going to bury her brother even after being told that, that s unacceptable. In this case Ismene the higher hand over Antigone because she was able to say no and now it s up to Antigone and what she wants to do. Being able to stay silent in a time where people are counting on you to do the

The Voice, The Flood And The Turtle, And Genesis The two flood myths, The Voice, The Flood, and The Turtle, and Genesis follow a similar story line as they attempt to depict the punishment placed upon humans for their misconduct on Earth. The myth tells the tale of how a certain figures suffer the consequences of their actions. These flood myths present the idea of a select group people receive a warning from a higher being telling them to construct a form of shelter that will protect them from a flood that will be used to wipe out the people, or monsters, that are behaving poorly. The general idea of both stories follows the idea of punishment for one s unacceptable behavior. In the first flood myth, the idea of four monsters morphing into one large beast is presented. This large beast is supposed to represent society as a whole. When society adapts malicious intentions and negative traits, a higher being decides whether or not a cleansing of society is necessary to improve the planet. Similarly, the story of Genesis follows the idea that humans have begun to behave in an irrational and shameful manner, so God creates a flood to punish the humans who had behaved poorly. Now the earth was corrupt in God s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. Another similarity seen between both of the myths is presentation of a selected family to survive the flood by receiving a warning. This group is responsible for the repopulation of the planet and salvation of the animals. For example, in The Voice, The Flood, and The Turtle, the voice states: Now you have everything you need. Now you can live. Now you have children and form a new generation. In the story of Genesis, God believes Noah and is family are the only ones who deserved to live because they did not act in the same fashion as their peers. Once the flood passes, God says: Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. Genesis and

So the literatures of African countries, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Caribbean countries, India, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Pacific Island countries, and Sri Lanka are all post colonial literatures.
