There is a difference between right and wrong in human acts, though opinions on morality may differ. Ethics deals with establishing the morality of human acts based on a standard or norm. For an act to have moral bearing and for an individual to be responsible, the act must be performed voluntarily with full knowledge and consent. Voluntariness, or freedom of will, is key to ethics and determining morality as it is a prerequisite for human acts to have ethical and legal consequences.
