LESSON PLAN MICRO TEACHING FOR PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES IN
LANGUAGE TEACHING.
Topic: Unit 9 – When I Grow Up.
Class: 2 Aman.
Proficiency Level: KSSR year 2.
Length Of Time: 20 minutes.
Objective: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to
1. Spell the word.
2. Say the words with correct pronunciations.
3. Name the occupations correctly.
4. Complete the task given.
Procedure(s):
Set Induction:
1. Teacher will ask the student to describe what they want to be.
2. Teacher will ask other students to guess what the occupations in the picture
shown are.
3. Teacher repeats the activity with another 3 to 4 students.
Development:
1. The teacher will ask the student to say the word “ay” and “ou” together.
2. The teacher will give exercise that involves the whole class.
3. The teacher will call 5 students to sound the words by picking a number on the
blackboard.
4. The teacher will give a short story and underline the words with “ay” and “ou” sound.
5. Teacher will sing a song and the student will follow.
6. The teacher will give homework to them to do at home that is “crossword puzzle”
Conclusion:
1. To find out whether the students understand what they are learning.
2. To find out whether they can say the word with correct pronunciations.
3. To find out whether the students take part in the class activity.
4. To find out whether the students will be able to identified the occupations that are
shown to them.
5. The teacher will evaluated when the students submit their extra – classwork.
