Content Standard:
3.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will
be able to write usingappropriate language,formandstyle
for a range of purposes
Learning Standard:
3.2.3 complete :(i) lineartexts - descriptions –rhymes
Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Fill in the blanks correctly.
2. Rewrite the sentences by replacing the pictures with
the correct words.
Activities:
1. Set induction - Teacher and pupils recall the previous
lesson.
E.g: name of fruits (apple, pineapple, mangosteen,
durian, rambutan, mango, etc)
2. Teacher shows a video.

3. Pupils practice spelling aloud the words.
4. Pupils type the names of the fruit in the Microsoft
Word.
5. Pupils insert images of fruits from the Internet.
6. Pupils sit in groups to produce a poster about a fruit
that they choose (e.g.: shape, colour, size, taste)
7. Closing – group presentation and gallery walk
activity.

CLASS TIME SUBJECT CONTENT IMPACT WEDNESDAY 3.5.2017 Subject English Class Year 1 JUJUR Time 3.20 – 4.20 PM Focus: Writing Theme: World of Knowledge Unit 10: Fruits Content Standard: 3.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to write usingappropriate language,formandstyle for a range of purposes Learning Standard: 3.2.3 complete :(i) lineartexts - descriptions –rhymes Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. Fill in the blanks correctly. 2. Rewrite the sentences by replacing the pictures with the correct words. Activities: 1. Set induction - Teacher and pupils recall the previous lesson. E.g: name of fruits (apple, pineapple, mangosteen, durian, rambutan, mango, etc) 2. Teacher shows a video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OESBH5SK_9c 3. Pupils practice spelling aloud the words. 4. Pupils type the names of the fruit in the Microsoft Word. 5. Pupils insert images of fruits from the Internet. 6. Pupils sit in groups to produce a poster about a fruit that they choose (e.g.: shape, colour, size, taste) 7. Closing – group presentation and gallery walk activity.
