AIMS
To engage the students in communicative exchanges.
To encourage collaborative work.
OBJECTIVES
To write and talk about their likes and dislikes.
To review vocabulary and the alphabet through a game.
To practise listening comprehension skills.
To associate food images with their spelling and pronunciation.
ACTIVITIES
ACTIVITY
Activity 1:
The student teacher will
present the different
categories of food in the
food pyramid, and then
write them on the
blackboard together with
the phrase I like..., BUT I
don’t like....1 .
A)The students will express
their likes and dislikes
orally, answering the
questions: Do you like...?
Yes, I do. No, I don’t.
B)The students will copy
the models in their
notebooks and will
complete it with their likes
and dislikes.
The students will share
their answers in pairs.
Activity 2: Game
First the students will
revise the alphabet and
then, they will take part in
a TuttiFrutti game taking
into account vocabulary
related to food practised so
far.
Activity 3:Listening
The students will listen to
five types of food over the
ten pictures on the
photocopies and number
them in the order in which
they hear them. Then, they
will read and circle the food
mentioned.

Timetable: Tuesday16.40 – 17.20 / Friday 15.55 – 16.35. Date: 17/09/13. Topic: Nutrition. Class Nº6 AIMS To engage the students in communicative exchanges. To encourage collaborative work. OBJECTIVES To write and talk about their likes and dislikes. To review vocabulary and the alphabet through a game. To practise listening comprehension skills. To associate food images with their spelling and pronunciation.

ACTIVITIES ACTIVITY Activity 1: The student teacher will present the different categories of food in the food pyramid, and then write them on the blackboard together with the phrase I like..., BUT I don’t like....1 . A)The students will express their likes and dislikes orally, answering the questions: Do you like...? Yes, I do. No, I don’t. B)The students will copy the models in their notebooks and will complete it with their likes and dislikes. The students will share their answers in pairs. Activity 2: Game First the students will revise the alphabet and then, they will take part in a TuttiFrutti game taking into account vocabulary related to food practised so far. Activity 3:Listening The students will listen to five types of food over the ten pictures on the photocopies and number them in the order in which they hear them. Then, they will read and circle the food mentioned.
