workshop.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Recognize different parts of the body: head, ears, eyes, mouth, hands, legs,
knees and feet.
2. To acquire the new vocabulary and to be able to produce it orally.
3. To be able to identify and use the new vocabulary in meaningful contexts.
ROUTINE
Greeting. Writingthe date onthe board. Whats the weatherlike today?.
WARM UP
The teacherwill presentbodyparts bya game called“teachersays”,andstudentswill have to
be stoodup, listenanddowhat the teachersays. (Forexample:teachersaystouchyourhead(
the teachertouchesherhead)…and the studentshave todo it.The teacherwill say:touch
your nose!.Touchyourhead!Alwayssignallingthe correctpartof the body.But if she says
touch yourmouthwithoutpointinghermouth,studentswillbe “punished” (prenda,isthey
getwrong theywill have tositdown). Iinsist,firstpresenteachpartof the bodywith
FLASHCARDS,thendothisactivity. Show me the flashcardsyou have prepared. (Youwill use a
poster,I see)

the studentstostand upand do an oral review all togetherForexample:What’sthis? Andthe
teacherstouchtheirheadand studentsshouldanswerwiththe helpof the poster).

hands,arms) and also,theywill have to be able to put all these partscorrectlyineverysquare
where the teacherswill write all these words.Bydoingthisactivity,studentscanrelate the
wordswiththe drawings,andacquire the new concepts.
