1. Eye Contact: Excellent
2. Voice/ Intonation: Loud, clear. It fills all the classroom
3. Classroom Management Skills (discipline)
Organizer. Her instructions were clear and she used English all the time.
Pupils behaved very well and worked hard. They asked questions that Valentina answered
promptly,
She provided timing for each activity. She prompted and guided students through all the
activities.
4. Teacher’s Roles:
She explained so clearly using gestures She asked children fore xamples.
Live: She corrected pronunciation in such a nice way (unobtrusively)
Excellent teacher’s stance: she felt relaxed and at ease, in charge of the whole group who
responded to her.
5. Students’ groupings:
They sat in pairs across rectangular tables.
She monitored all the class going round the classroom.
6. Stages in the class: PRESENTATION.
She presented prepositions of time on the board. Presentation was clear and effective.
Activity 1: Students had to write sentences choosing prepositions.
PRACTICE.Act 2. Valentina delivered photocopies : Sentences describing a city. Children ahd to
write the numbers of places on the map.
Act 3: Listening
Here Valentina intrioduced Cristiana dn he read the listening aloud 3 times, giving time to the
pupils to process and solve the True or false exercise.

FINAL COMMENTS:
Valentina:
You provided suitable scaffolding. You explained clearly and praised the students for their
correct answers. You tried to include two girls who lern more slowly than the others. They
participated enthusiastically.
Then, you introduced Cristian whom the children in bubble 1 had not met yet.
You provided feedback for all the activteis solved by students.
Cristian:
Cristian led the listening and although there were a few mistakes (an University/ There are one
cinema…Between/among) his speech was loud and clear. He was friendly and good fun with the
students via Valentina’s laptop.
For both:
There was a variety of activities including grammar, reading, writing senteces and listening.
All the pupils were engaged with the activities.
Valentina invited Cristian to lead the listening activity and he showed e could do it. Next time he
could be in chage of checking as well.
What went well:
There was excellent planning of the activities. Valentina is so resourceful. She led the class in an
excellent way and thanks to the loudspeaker and laptopshe took to class Cristian’s participation
was successful.There was excellent team work.
