LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Recognize different parts of the body: head, ears, eyes, mouth, hands, legs,
knees and feet through some activities of total physical response.
2. To acquire the new vocabulary and to be able to produce it orally.
3. To be able to identify and use the new vocabulary in meaningful contexts.
4. To develop the ability to make a project altogether in order to apply all the new
vocabulary
4. Have fun while learning and dancing.

The teacherwill present the song“Head,Shoulder,KneesandToes”inorderto make students

teachers.Itis a veryfunnysongwhere studentscanlearnwhile doing.

First Activity:
The teacherwill distributeamongthe students aworksheetwithamirrorinwhichtheywill have
to cut and all the face’sparts and paste themonit inthe correctplacesso as to make a real face.
THE POSTERABOUT BODY PARTSWILL BE STACKON THE WHITEBOARD.

MACRO-SKILLS:listeningcomprehension(tothe instructions)
TIMING: 15 minutes
MATERIALS: worksheet,glue andapairof scissors.
Activity 2:
Let’s play domino!
In thisactivity,the teacherwill dividethe wholeclassintotwogroupsof 4 or 5 studentspergroup.
This divisionwill dependonthe amount of childrenthat came to class today, otherwise itwillbe
onlyone.The studentswill be sat onthe flooror in a bigtable.The dominoismade of cards soall
of themwill be turneddown,andstudentswill have toarrange themaccordingto whatit says,or
the kindof drawingithas.

Activity 3
Monsterproject. (PENDING ACTIVITYBECAUSE OF THE FEW AMOUNTOF CHILDREN IN THE LAST
CLASS)
The teacherwill showtwokindsof cards, anda colourcardboard to the students.One of them
withbodyparts drawings,andthe otherone withnumbersfromone (1) to ten(10). The ideais
that studentstake one card abouthumanparts, andanotherone withnumbersforexample:if itis
EYES andthe number6, the monsterwill have six eyes,andthe studentswill have todraw itwith6
eyes.
TYPE OF INTERACTION:teacher– students,andstudentswithinthe wholegroup
MACRO-SKILLS: writing.
TIMING: 15 minutes
MATERIALS: (cardboard),blackpencil,andcolourpencils.
Activity 4 (or part of the closingup)
The teacherswill make afinal revision withthe monsterdrawing withall the bodypartsinwhich
the studentswill have torepeatwhatthe teachersays. Afterthis,studentswill be able toleave
the classroom.
CLOSING UP:
 While doingthe monsterposter,teacherswill assessthe little studentsinorderto
recognize humanbodypartsand the numbersatthe same time.Once itisready,the
monsterposterwill be stuckonthe wall.

Classes: n° 7 and 8 because there are two modules from 40 minutes each LEARNING OBJECTIVES 1. Recognize different parts of the body: head, ears, eyes, mouth, hands, legs, knees and feet through some activities of total physical response. 2. To acquire the new vocabulary and to be able to produce it orally. 3. To be able to identify and use the new vocabulary in meaningful contexts. 4. To develop the ability to make a project altogether in order to apply all the new vocabulary 4. Have fun while learning and dancing. TIMING: 5-7 minutes MATERIALS: song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX8HmogNyCY DEVELOPMENT: First Activity: The teacherwill distributeamongthe students aworksheetwithamirrorinwhichtheywill have to cut and all the face’sparts and paste themonit inthe correctplacesso as to make a real face. THE POSTERABOUT BODY PARTSWILL BE STACKON THE WHITEBOARD. TYPE OF INTERACTION:teacher– students MACRO-SKILLS:listeningcomprehension(tothe instructions) TIMING: 15 minutes
  • 3. MATERIALS: worksheet,glue andapairof scissors. Activity 2: Let’s play domino! In thisactivity,the teacherwill dividethe wholeclassintotwogroupsof 4 or 5 studentspergroup. This divisionwill dependonthe amount of childrenthat came to class today, otherwise itwillbe onlyone.The studentswill be sat onthe flooror in a bigtable.The dominoismade of cards soall of themwill be turneddown,andstudentswill have toarrange themaccordingto whatit says,or the kindof drawingithas.   • 4. Activity 3 Monsterproject. (PENDING ACTIVITYBECAUSE OF THE FEW AMOUNTOF CHILDREN IN THE LAST CLASS) The teacherwill showtwokindsof cards, anda colourcardboard to the students.One of them withbodyparts drawings,andthe otherone withnumbersfromone (1) to ten(10). The ideais that studentstake one card abouthumanparts, andanotherone withnumbersforexample:if itis EYES andthe number6, the monsterwill have six eyes,andthe studentswill have todraw itwith6 eyes. TYPE OF INTERACTION:teacher– students,andstudentswithinthe wholegroup MACRO-SKILLS: writing. TIMING: 15 minutes MATERIALS: (cardboard),blackpencil,andcolourpencils. Activity 4 (or part of the closingup) The teacherswill make afinal revision withthe monsterdrawing withall the bodypartsinwhich the studentswill have torepeatwhatthe teachersays. Afterthis,studentswill be able toleave the classroom. CLOSING UP:
  • 5.  While doingthe monsterposter,teacherswill assessthe little studentsinorderto recognize humanbodypartsand the numbersatthe same time.Once itisready,the monsterposterwill be stuckonthe wall.  Teacherssay good-bye.
