This paper presents an efficient multi-hop routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) that utilizes six sigma principles to enhance energy efficiency and quality of service (QoS). The proposed six sigma multi-hop routing (SSMHR) protocol aims to improve packet delivery ratios and reduce end-to-end delay, addressing the challenges of energy constraints and unreliable communication. Simulations demonstrate that SSMHR significantly outperforms existing QoS-aware routing mechanisms, leading to better network performance.
