This document presents the design of a mobile application called Get2School that allows users to search for schools within a given location and radius. It uses GPS and mapping APIs to determine a user's current location and display nearby schools on a map. The application also provides details about each school like contact information. It uses algorithms like localization and Kalman filtering to improve GPS accuracy. The objectives are to allow users to efficiently search and find details of schools in their locality. Such an application could help people relocate schools easily. It has potential for expansion to include searching for other locations like colleges, hospitals etc.

The current navigation systems used in many autonomous mobile robotic applications, like
unmanned vehicles, are always equipped with various sensors to get accurate navigation results. The
key point is to fuse the information from different sensors efciently. However, different sensors provide
asynchronous measurements, some of which even appear to be nonlinear. Moreover, some sensors are
vulnerable in specic environments, e.g., GPS signal is likely to work poorly in interior space, underground,
and tall buildings. We propose a multi-sensor information fusion method based on a factor graph to fuse
all available asynchronous sensor information and efciently and accurately calculate a navigation solution.
Assuming the sensor measurements and navigation states in a navigation system as factor nodes and variable
nodes in a factor graph, respectively, the update of the states can be implemented in the framework of the
factor graph. The proposed method is experimentally validated using two different datasets. A comparison
with Federated Filter, which has been widely used in integrated navigation systems, demonstrates the
proposed method's effectiveness. Additionally, analyzing the navigation results with data loss that
the proposed method could achieve sensor plug and play in software.INDEX TERMS Integrated navigation, multi-sensor, information fusion, factor graph, plug and play.

Novel Framework for Navigation using Enhanced Fuzzy Approach with Sliding Mod...IJECEIAES
The reliability of any embedded navigator in advanced vehicular system depends upon correct and precise information of navigational data captured and processed to offer trustworthy path. After reviewing the existing system, a significant trade-off is explored between the existing navigational system and present state of controller design on various case studies and applications. The existing design of controller system for navigation using error-prone GPS/INS data doesn’t emphasize on sliding mode controller. Although, there has been good number of studies in sliding mode controller, it is less attempted to optimize the navigational performance of a vehicle. Therefore, this paper presents a novel optimized design of a sliding mode controller that can be effectively deployed on advanced navigational system. The study outcome was found to offer higher speed, optimal control signal, and lower error occurances to prove that proposed system offers reliable and optimized navigational services in contrast to existing system.
Precise Attitude Determination Using a Hexagonal GPS PlatformCSCJournals
In this paper, a method of precise attitude determination using GPS is proposed. We use a hexagonal antenna platform of 1 m diameter (called the wheel) and post-processing algorithms to calculate attitude, where we focus on yaw to prove the concept. The first part of the algorithm determines an initial absolute position using single point positioning. The second part involves double differencing (DD) the carrier phase measurements for the received GPS signals to determine relative positioning of the antennas on the wheel. The third part consists of Direct Computation Method (DCM) or Implicit Least Squares (ILS) algorithms which, given sufficiently accurate knowledge of the fixed body frame coordinates of the wheel, takes in relative positions of all the receivers and produces the attitude. Field testing results presented in this paper will show that an accuracy of 0.05 degrees in yaw can be achieved. The results will be compared with a theoretical error, which is shown by Monte Carlo simulation to be < 0.001 degrees. The improvement to the current state-of-the-art is that current methods require either very large baselines of several meters to achieve such accuracy or provide errors in yaw that are orders of magnitude greater.

Design and Implementation for Trucks Tracking System Using GPS Based on Seman...ijtsrd
This paper proposed design and implementation of trucks tracking system using GPS based on semantic web for vehicle tracking in real time. In-vehicle unit and a tracking server is used. The information is transmitted to tracking server using GSM/GPRS modem on GSM network by using SMS or using direct TCP/IP connection with tracking server through GPRS. The received SMS contain longitude and latitude that are used to locate the vehicle on the Google maps. Tracking server also has GSM/GPRS modem that receives vehicle location information via GSM network and stores this information in database. It has been explored that most of the GPS based tracking systems are user friendly, cost effective, reliable and can be easily validated through different experiments and simulations which means that tracking system will send notifications periodically to the main station about the current position of the vehicle . Moreover those tracking notifications (GPS) will be stored in the database for future revising or generating required reports.. The tracking system will be better for cars, trucks, trailers, railways, containers and boats that can be traced using GPS vehicle tracking. Novel based Approach Schema for Processing Vehicle Tracking System through GP...ijtsrd
In recent years many systems are approached to track the vehicles in order to find out movement of any equipped vehicle from any location at any time. This paper implements formalised schema to develop a tracking system that is much cost effective that available in the market. Various technologies utilised are GPS Global Positioning System module to get geographic coordinates at regular time intervals. The GSM GPRS Global System Positioning General Packet Radio Service module is used to transmit and update the vehicle location to a database. The Google Maps API is used to display the vehicle position on the map in the Smartphone application. The tracking system here helps to identify the location of the college bus through our smart phone when a SMS Short Message Service is sent to a personal number thus indicating the bus location via SMS. By incorporating a GPS and GSM modem the location of the device by sending a SMS to the number specified. No external server or internet connection is used in knowing the location at user end which in return reduces the cost. We can also use this technology to reduce our time whenever we are waiting for buses by knowing their location on our mobile phones. If vehicle has been stolen then also we can track our vehicles. Design and Implementation of a GPS based Personal Tracking SystemSudhanshu Janwadkar
Design and Implementation of a GPS based Personal Tracking System
Tracking based applications have been quite popular in recent times. Most of them have been limited to commercial applications such as vehicular tracking (e.g tracking of a train etc). However, not much work has been done towards design of a personal tracking system. Our Research work is an attempt to design such personal tracking system. In this paper, we have shared glimpses of our research work.
The objective of our research project is to design & develop a system which is capable of tracking and monitoring a person, object or any other asset of importance (called as target). The system uses GPS to determine the exact position of the target. The target is aided with a compact handheld device which consists of a GPS receiver and GSM modem. GPS receiver obtains location coordinates (viz. Latitude & Longitude) from GPS satellites. The location information in NMEA format is decoded, formatted and sent to control station, through a GSM modem. Due to use of Open CPU development platform, no external Microcontroller is required, with additional advantage of compact size product, reduced design & development time and reduced cost.
Thus, the proposed system is able to track the accurate location of target. This system finds applications in tracking old-age people, tracking animals in forest, tracking delivery of goods etc. Our final designed system is a small-size compact l.S"X3.7S" Tracker system with position accuracy error <30m (100 feet).
Traffic Detection System is an Android application that aims at determining the behavior of traffic in a particular location. It calculates the speed of the vehicle and the level of congestion or the amount of traffic is determined on the basis of the values of sensors. If any such obstruct found, then the driver is provided an option to send messages regarding high traffic to his/her friends. After a distinct number of repeated low speed and breaks, the location of the vehicle (latitude and longitude) send to a pre-specified contact (selected in case of traffic congestion) through an SMS. This application uses the features of the Global positioning system. The Latitude, as well as the longitude of the location where traffic jams are formed, is sent to the friends of the user. The Goggle map of the location also sends to the friends. It uses the SMS Manager a functionality of Android. The friends receiving the messages will thereby avoid taking the congested route and hence the level of traffic on the congested road will decrease, and the friends will reach the destination in comparatively less time.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
