This document evaluates traffic congestion on NH-152, a 9 km road connecting Dera Bassi and Zirakpur in India. It has a high volume of mixed traffic due to factories, markets, hospitals and residences along the route. Video data was collected at 3 stations during peak hours to analyze traffic flow and identify congestion hotspots. The study aims to evaluate current congestion levels and propose remedial measures. Traffic congestion is a major problem in many cities due to inadequate road and transport infrastructure not keeping pace with rising population and vehicle ownership. It wastes time and fuel, harms the environment, and stresses commuters. Solutions are needed to contain congestion and maintain road capacity and traffic flow.

A sidewalk as part of the road facilities to secure the pedestrian safety in Korea shall be provided when the pedestrian and vehicle traffic reach to a certain level but applying this regulation to the rural road where there are less pedestrian traffic but vehicle traffic at high speed and thus the driver's attention to the pedestrians is relatively low is not rational. Thus the installation of the sidewalk shall be determined, taking into account of the pedestrian traffic accident record and the characteristics from the viewpoint of traffic environment to the pedestrian. Installation of sidewalk is greatly dependent on economic efficiency, particularly to the rural road. For rational investment within the given budget, it's necessary to determine the priority with regard to sidewalk installation, considering the pedestrian safety, regional society's need and installation effect comprehensively. Thus this study is intended to propose the evaluation items and quantitative method with regard to the installation priority in consideration of the function of the road to be installed, regional social and cultural characteristics and overall road and traffic conditions such as pedestrian traffic pattern and school.

Roads are one of the main assets of a country where the network infrastructure offers economic and social benefits. It is understood that road maintenance would improve economic development and social benefits, and the poorly maintained road network would destruct mobility, raise accident rates, intensify isolation, poverty and vehicle operating costs. Unidentified road environment covers many aspects and based on that matter, it is important to improve the quality of inspection reports, whereby the efficiencies by mobile application shall be utilized. Developed system mobile apps have been found to be effective, versatile to use, as they can be used anywhere and at any time. The goal was therefore to recognize the types of defects, issues and deficiencies in current road maintenance practices and to develop a computerized highway maintenance program. The scope of the research will be limited to a case study at PLUS highway, connecting the north and south highway of peninsular Malaysia. The findings showed that road maintenance work is not adequately and effectively designed because it requires more time and includes a lot of paperwork. Due to this matter, the proposed mobile application would provide an invaluable added benefit to intelligent system of PLUS highway.

A traffic management system is essential for better mobility in terms of cost, safety, comfort, and time savings, among other factors. A traffic management system assures the safety of not only car occupants but also pedestrians crossing the road. The work primarily focuses on analysing traffic volume using software and manual counts on two types of roads, namely broad lane and service lane. This study comprises using the Picomixer STA Smart Traffic Analyzer programme to count the number of different types of vehicles, which are classified as light vehicles Cars, SUVs, etc. , medium loading vehicles trucks, minibuses , and heavy vehicles Trucks, Minibuses, etc . Trailers, Big trucks etc. .On the broad lane, traffic peaks during the day and at night, while it remains light and medium during the middle of the day. This trend also affects the rush in the service lane, which follows a similar pattern. Increased traffic and longer signal halt times encourage drivers to use the alternate service lane, which increases congestion in the narrow service lane and raises the danger of accidents. Longer signal halts were discovered to be the most important factor to consider when choosing a service lane. Reduced signal timing can have an impact on typical service lane and broad lane utilisation, as well as traffic management. The compiled java program given as input to the system, after scanning the program will generate different reports. The application generates the report for users. The admin can view and download the report of the data. The application deliver the excel format reports. Because, excel formatted reports is very easy to understand the income and expense of the college bus. This application is mainly develop for windows operating system users. In 2017, 73% of people enterprises are using windows operating system. So the application will easily install for all the windows operating system users. The application-developed size is very low. The application consumes very low space in disk. Therefore, the user can allocate very minimum local disk space for this application.

The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
