This document discusses the design and analysis of a low-cost Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) to conduct EMI/EMC testing for ISM equipment according to CISPR-11 standards. A LISN is used in emission testing to provide a known, stable impedance between the device under test and the power source to filter out noise. Previous LISNs were costly, so the proposed LISN combines low-pass and band-pass filters in its design using ADS software. It will provide accurate input impedance at low cost to analyze equipment through a connected spectrum analyzer and ensure products meet EMI/EMC standards.
