The nervous system is made up of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs, and nerves that connect them. Together they control the body and allow communication between its parts. Neurons contain structures like dendrites and axons that bring signals into and out of the cell body. The central nervous system includes the brain and spinal cord and controls most body functions. The peripheral nervous system controls all parts of the body through nerves. Epilepsy is a brain disorder where a person has two or more seizures, which are changes in normal brain activity. A stroke occurs when blood vessels in the brain get blocked, preventing nutrients from reaching brain cells. Parkinson's disease affects movement and balance through the loss of certain neurons.

Challenge 2 – Adaptation and Constraints
The Depot at Cape Canaveral is almost online, and the depots in the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand will be coming online soon as well.
Our next obstacle is the infrastructure for the base on the moon. The Moon will be used as stopping point on the way to Mars, in addition to serving as the human race’s new home until the colony on Mars is finished.
Due to the way the base was constructed, we have serious power, cooling, and space limitations. You must scale the design down to fit into half of a datacenter rack, or 21U. In addition, we also only have IPV6 network infrastructure on the moon. You must use the same vendors of the design you will be working with, but you can use different product lines. You must tell us what the configuration maximums for the new design are (for example, maximum hosts, VMs, storage capacity), and what your failure tolerance is.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

3. The basic structures and functions of the nervous system are
brain,
spinal cord,
sensory organs,
and all of the nerves that connect these organs with the rest of the body.
Together, these organs are responsible for the control of the body and
communication among its parts.
Neurons contain organelles common to many other cells, such as a nucleus and
mitochondria. They also have more specialized structures, including dendrites and
axons. Dendrites bring electrical signals to the cell body and axons take
information away from the cell body.
4. Vocabulary words
Reflex- occurring in reaction; responsive.
Response- an answer or reply, as in words or in some action.
Resting Potential- the potential difference between the two sides of the membrane of a nerve cell when the cell
is not conducting an impulse.
Sensory nerve- Not all living flesh is painful; nor is all nerve, not even all sensory nerve.
Spinal Cord- the cord of nerve tissue extending through the spinal canal of the spinal column.
Stimulus- something that causes something else to happen, develop, or become more active.
Synapse-In the nervous system, a synapse is a structure that permits a neuron.

5. Epilepsy, which is sometimes called a
seizure disorder, is a disorder of the
brain. A person is diagnosed with
epilepsy when they have had two or
more seizures. A seizure is a short
change in normal brain activity.

7. The central nervous system is made
up of the brain and spinal cord. The
peripheral nervous system is the
system that controls all parts of the
body, including the neck, legs, the
hips and the torso.
8. The central nervous system (CNS) controls
most functions of the body and mind. It
consists of two parts: the brain and the
spinal cord. The brain is what thinks and
sends impulses for your nervous system to
follow.
9. Medulla oblongata- the continuation of the spinal cord within the skull, forming the lowest
part of the brainstem and containing control centers for the heart and lungs.
Neuron a specialized, impulse-conducting cell that is the functional unit of the nervous system,
consisting of the cell body and its processes, the axon and dendrites.
Mixed nerve a nerve composed of both sensory and motor fibers.
Motor nerve
a nerve carrying impulses from the brain to a nerve.

VOCABULARY
10. Dendrite the branching process of a neuron that conducts
impulses toward the cell.
Nerve impulse a progressive wave of electric and chemical activity along a nerve
fiber that simulates the action of a muscle, gland, or other nerve cell.
Neurotransmitter any of several chemical substances, as epinephrine or acetylcholine,
that transmit nerve impulses across a synapse to a postsynaptic element, as another
nerve, muscle, or gland.
VOCABULARY
11. Dawson's disease- stroke
A stroke is when your blood vessels get blocked so the
cells won't get their nutrients so they die and your
whole side of your body most of the times is paralyzed
or very hard to move or your whole body is paralyzed if
it happens on both sides of your body.
12.
13.
14. VOCABULARY
• autonomic- occurring involuntarily or spontaneously.
• axon- the long thread-like extension of a nerve impulse from the cell body.
• brain- a part of the nervous system more or less corresponding to the brain of
vertebrates.
• cell body- the compact area of a nerve cell that contributes the nucleus and
surrounding cytoplasm.
• central nervous system- the part of the nervous system comprising the brain and
spinal cord.
• cerebellum- a large portion of the brain, serving to coordinate voluntary
movements and posture.
• cerebrum- the principal and most anterior part of the brain.
15. 5) A nerve impulse travels by
using chemicals called
neurotransmitters.
6) The reflex arc is when
sensory neurons are sent to
the spine instead of the brain.
16. PARKINSON'S DISEASE
My disease is
Parkinson's disease.
This disease affects
movement, and loss of
balance. More than
200,000 u.s cases occur
each year. This disease
does not have a cure
there for it can be fatal
if you lose balance.
