In the Fire service, we have available plenty of basic drills we can train on daily to better ourselves. It
seems everyone is trying specialized training, which needed, and forgets to master few of our more
tedious items and commonplace Page 8b functions. A number of of these would incorporate pump
operations, hose line advancement, fire ground operations. Consequently, the drills we do should be
more than by the numbers drills, they should be operations that imitate what we will do at the

Therefore, an example of a drill that I have used at my department for training is a firefighter calling a
Mayday. This is a very commanding evolution in the fire service today, from the low occurrences and
the extremely high risk associated with a mayday. The first part of the drill was a review of our
mayday policy and the classroom simulation of practicing the mayday. The review would contain

though the production has an incorrect central conflict. Company B s production is correct when Tait
explains how it portrays why Creon did not bury Polyneices body and just left it out to the animals
instead (71). The production is also correct when implying why Creon treats Antigone and Ismene
badly as if they have the dignity of animals (73). By looking at Sophocles Antigone, it portrays Creon
of having the same understanding of Polyneices, Antigone, and Ismene too (Sophocles ?). This is why

The reason for this is that it is more controversial. Creon does not receive a lot of support or is looked
at as a role model from readers when he treats Polyneices, Antigone, and Ismene like animals. Most
people would agree that it is not good to disregard a person enough to let his dead body rot with the
animals and to call women snakes and leeches (Tait 73). The controversial issue that should be the
central conflict is whether Antigone should have buried her brother even though she rebels against
authority to doing so. This conflict can result in more disagreement than Creon s treatment towards
Polyneices and the women for a few reasons. At the time Antigone was written, there was a negative
outlook on women. They were not seen as people who should have the same rights as men, much less
to act against any authority. This outlook is seen when Ismene demonstrations how women do not
disobey authority by disagreeing with Antigone s decision to bury Polyneices (Sophocles 708). Even
though most readers would agree that it was not good that women were treated less than humans when
Sophocles wrote Antigone, they can still be disagreement when Antigone went against the law. While
Tait notes that Haemon says to Creon that anyone would have done what Antigone did if they had a
