Incarceration Within The Federal Bureau Of Prisons
Over the past forty years the increased of mass incarceration within the Federal Bureau of Prisons has
increased more than 700 percent since the 1970 s, between the different type of ethnicity. Billions of
dollars have spent to house offenders and to maintain their everyday life from rehabilitation programs,
academic education, vocational training, substance abuse programs and medical care. The cost of
incarceration climbs according to the level of security based on violent and non violent crimes. Fewer
staff is required in minimum and medium security prisons that house low level offenders.
Incarceration is likely to serves as one indicator of other co occurring risks and vulnerabilities that
makes families particularly fragile. Mass incarceration is likely to increase if awareness is not
implicated to reduce the rate of imprisonment and broken families to take back their communities and
reclaim their hope for the future.
Thesis Statement
There are many offenders within the criminal justice system, the political economy of the prison crisis
in America has increased over the years which creates a questions on the way dollars sense works.
With a nation of fewer crimes, prison population will diminish, but does that deter our political system
to have taxpayers contribute less to the way prison systems are tracked?

The Westward Spread of Inca and Egyptian Culture Essay
The Westward Spread of Inca and Egyptian Culture The second half of the twentieth century has seen
many changes in theories concerning the mode of colonization of the islands of Micronesia, and the
rise of the Inca Empire, with it s striking similarities to Egypt. In the past, it has been suggested that
Asians had worked their way through the Pacific, over a period of thousands of years. It was believed
that each island group had formed independently, and that the residents, while they were of the same
race, had totally different cultures. Since the 1940 s, however, these views have been changing. It is
now accepted by many scholars that early Egyptians sailed as far west as South America, in their huge

appearing to the local Indians who at the time were ignorant of sun worship, architecture, and
agriculture (Ra 30). These reed boats were the same size and specification of the boats used by
Egyptians, and the people who crewed them began, among other things, building pyramids and
statues, many of which still stand throughout Central and South America (Ra 3). In fact, the most
concrete piece of evidence linking the Egyptians and early Americans is a small stone statue,
discovered in Mexico, bearing features that are decidedly similar to those of Egyptian sculpture. The
statue was carbon dated 800 BC (Begley, et al 28), long before Europeans were said to have contacted
Central and South Americans. The Aztecs and Mayas of Central America also provide evidence of
Egyptian contact. The starting date of the Maya calendar is 12, 3113 BC. This is in the middle of the
first dynasty of the Pharaohs. If these Indians had already been in the Western Hemisphere for 15,000
years, why was it only after the Egyptians started using calendars that they did, and used such similar
methods. Mayan and Aztec texts also state that they became civilized only after a man, claiming
descent from the sun arrived from the Gulf of Mexico, with a complement of astronomers, architects
and priests. The Aztecs called the man/god Quetzalcoatl, and the Mayans called him Kukulkan. Both

Like The Greedy Wolf Analysis
In the years of 1807 to 1831, tragedy struck for The Blackfoot Indians, the British, and American
citizens. In Like the Greedy Wolf, the article focuses more on the history and events people assume
took place at the time, but did these events actually happen? The article does not go into detail on the
impact it made upon the leaders and people involved, nor does it give the most accurate, in stone
details. This article places emphases on a collection of documents rather than an informational article.
In paragraph one, disaster hit the city of St. Louis on the fifteenth of July in 1823. News eventually
spread by the Missouri Republican. The newspaper stated, The Blackfoot had attacked trappers on the
Yellowstone River near the Crow village. The newspaper goes along to explain the attack on the
leaders, Robert Jones and Michael Immell. It is explained after these two were shot down, the soldiers
fighting under the two leaders, had no guidance. These soldiers were quickly slaughtered and robbed
of their 25 packs of fur. After the paragraph was published, the editor of ... Show more content on

These paragraphs were a matter of speculation. In paragraph ten, information suggested how the
American traders came to be who they were instead of trappers. In paragraph sixteen, the words,
thought, and probably, were used. Another instance is in paragraph nineteen. In this selection, the
National Intelligencer writes about Manuel Lisa and a few Indian tribes. Terms such as considered,
and probably. A suggestion and an order are two completely different ideas. If a statement is made in
an article, then it is presumed to be accurate and true. Also, the use of the word, they, should not be
included in an article, however this word is found in both paragraph ten and sixteen. If one is writing
an article or paper of any form, he or she should state the person or people s names and have precise
details of the people and events

Private Military Contractors In The Middle East
Throughout the Middle East, the use of private military contractors has significantly heightened, due
to the call of attacks in these countries. PMC s take up much cost for a country to fund, and the
increasing rates are bringing drawbacks onto working citizens. However, there PMC s are also vital in
order for a country to maintain its armed security forces. On the other hand, mercenaries are people
who take part in armed conflicts. The PMC s hire these mercenaries to work under them in helping
take part in hostilities, but receive benefits for their own gains. Recently, the United Nations
Mercenary Convention (UNMC) has placed restrictions upon PMC s in the use of mercenaries, in
order to create specifications between commercial and government uses of these protection services.
Sweden has very little support and funds for the use of these PMC s, due to the lack of high military
activity.
Current Issues: In the Middle East, and other countries active in their military uses, are raising high
questions of controversy against whether or not PMC s should be implemented at an international
scale. After these countries in the middle east have been hit with attacks, there has been thought on
how to promote entrusted security for the countries. However, the use of these PMC s can lead to
security faults in diplomatic officials, and can cause unstable regions throughout a country as we have
seen happen in Libya in 2012. On the contrary, PMC s can be ideal in post war

Entertainment and education through the oppression of women finds a common place in Geoffrey
Chaucer s The Wife of Bath Prologue and John Webster s The Duchess of Malfi. In both stories the
audience is introduced to the idea of female independence and strength through a confident and skilled
female character who envelops the knowledge required to subvert the standards of patriarchal and
misogynistic society. While both women in the The Wife of Bath Prologue and The Duchess of Malfi
are varied characters who (think they) exude authority and seem to be able to live outside the
limitations of a patriarchal society, at a closer look it is obvious this is not the case. Chaucer and
Webster have both developed a story that parallel the stereotypes of the misogynist political and social
structure of the time. Furthermore, they have blended comedy and entertainment to create stories that
are didactic in nature they reaffirm the stereotype of unruly widows and ultimately show that no good
will come to women who attempt to live outside the structural confines of the patriarchal and
misogynist structures of society.
Geoffrey Chaucer s The Wife of Bath Prologue is a text which employs the female voice through an
exaggerated female narrator who believes her life experience provides her the authority necessary to
weigh in on the conflict that is marriage and a woman s role within that marriage. Upon further
analysis one may argue that

Interpersonal Communication In The Classroom
In 2005 at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School in Louisville, Ky I walked into the Behavioral
Disorder classroom headed up by Mr. Miracle. He was an attractive older man with gray temples and
salt pepper strands throughout his fully filled head. He had a smile that was tired but genuine and Paul
Newman blue eyes that shined. He had been a Special Education teacher for over 20 years and he was
exhausted. His disposition convinced me that working with special needs children was not going to a
long term plan if I wanted any sort of happily ever after. The classroom consisted of seven students,
who were the picture of diversity via race, socioeconomics and cognitive ability. Their diagnosis
ranged from conduct disorder to autism spectrum disorder.
It was one student with vocal stereotypy, which is non functional speech that could consist of singing,
squeals, babbling, repetitive sounds and so on, who emitted sounds from the Three Stooges. If the
student was happy we could hear her making nyuk nyuk and wooes , but if the student was unhappy
she would utter says oh a wise guy . I found it amazing and somewhat entertaining until Mr. Miracle
explained that the student preferred objects and items to people. It had taken him a year to get the
student to prefer objects paired with people such as the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In summary, the diagnosis of cutaneous tuberculosis is based on clinical features, demonstration of
acid fast bacilli on smear, tissue culture, skin biopsy, and in recent years, PCR which has shown to be
of importance in laboratory diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. However, the yield from culture
and PCR is often low and diagnoses may need to depend on clinical features, histopathological
findings, and retrospective review of response to treatment(1); the diagnosis of the child who is
presented in this case report was established on clinico histopathological basis following a wedge
biopsy from the lesion. Conclusion The aim of this case report is to emphasize on the role of early

New York City s Rikers Island has been called on of the worst prisons in the country. Throughout its
history, it has been filled with multiple human rights issues that deal with abuse, sexual assaults, lack

who was convicted of eight fatal shootings that took place in the summer of 1976, Tupac Shakur a

All Men Are Created Equal
In the United States Declaration of Independence, the phrase, All men are created equal is a phrase
people refer to, when dealing with equality in America. A feature through the different selections in
American Dreams is equality because America is a place where everyone has the same opportunity to
achieve anything. Equality and opportunity given to people has evolved since the founding fathers, but
there s been stages in America s history where equality is only given to specific people, not everyone.
Equality and opportunity are elements in involved in the song, This Land is Your Land, by Woody
Guthrie. Everyone who is born in America has an equal opportunity to do anything in mind. Woody
Guthrie writes, As I was walking that ribbon of highway I saw above me that endless skyway, I saw
below me that golden valleys: This land for you and me (Guthrie 54). In other words, Guthrie said it
does not matter what a person s situation may be. Whether a person is poor or wealthy the opportunity
for them to be successful is there for the taking. Despite a person s background, he or she has the
opportunity to have any career or lifestyle he or she wants. Being born to Mexican parents who do not
have any education and work in labor jobs does not prohibit me from trying to achieve my dreams.
The equality given to Americans is the same, whether a child is born to famous celebrity or to a poor
person and should have no effect on his or her equality with others. If a celebrity

Analytical Analysis Of Frost At Midnight By Samuel Coleridge
Analytical essay of Frost at Midnight by Samuel Coleridge
People think that nature brings a sort of calmness, happiness or peace, which is why most people
travel to places with beautiful sceneries, or build houses near beaches, or have a plant in their
surrounding or even just a painting of a tree, flower or mountain. The importance of nature is
subjective as it nature touches people in different ways. The poem Frost at Midnight, Samuel
Coleridge, is a monolingual conversation between the speaker and his sleeping infant. It is written in
blank verse, with little or no rhyme but in iambic pentameter. In this poem, the speaker emphasises the
importance of nature by equating it to God, he also speaks about the ability of nature to create
treasured memories, which he wants to use to plant himself in his child s future, therefore, he his
rallying against modernization because of this.
The speaker stresses the importance of nature by comparing it to God, he says that his child will be far
from God because he will not be able to hear God s voice which apparently is, The lovely shapes and
sounds intelligible / Of that eternal language... (65 66). I believe that this comparison is quite different
as most religions such as Christianity do not equate God with earth but instead suggests that God
created earth (New International Version, Gen. 1.1). This sentence makes me think that God can mean
different things to different people. The thing or person we worship the most or respect the most can
be a god, money can be a god, a popular music artist can be a god, and a tyrannical president can also
be a god. The speaker s definition of a God involved the ability to: from eternity doth teach Himself in
all... Great universal Teacher! (67 69).The speaker s definition of God entails the ability to be able to
teach one s self and be able to mold spirits. Thereby nature is important in this way because it can
mold people s spirits and lives.
Another way in which the speaker stresses the importance of nature is by stating benefits from nature.
He is sitting at home and staring out through the window, looking at the fluttering object and listening
to the owl while the rest of the residents in the house are asleep. He is in his

PTSD And Its Impact On My Life
If there s one event that has made a huge impact in my life it would have to be a roll over car accident
that my parents, aunt, and I were when I was in sixth grade. This car accident has impacted me
negatively by leaving me with PTSD and positively by figuring out what career I am pursuing.
This car accident led me to have PTSD, which stands for post traumatic stress disorder. It is a disorder
that follows a traumatic event. It made me into who I am today because even though it happened nine
years ago I still feel the effects as if it happened yesterday. For example, when my friend s dad was
also in a bad car accident and I went with them to see the car I had an anxiety attack because I had
flashbacks. I went months with nightmares and whenever I saw something that reminded me of that
day I would shut down. PTSD made something that people do so effortlessly into something
absolutely terrifying for me which is driving. I still can t drive in big cities like Sioux City ... Show

medical field and specifically a paramedic. It shaped me into who I am today because it makes me
want to be able to help people when tragedy strikes or whenever they are in need just like those
paramedics helped my family. I want to be able to repay all that was done for my family and I by
pursuing this job. Knowing that I can make a difference in people s life is what drives me through this

My Placement At Paul Donaghy Pharmacy
During my placement at Paul Donaghy Pharmacy a number of things became apparent about how
increasingly important pharmacists are in a community setting. Pharmacist are at the frontline of the
healthcare system, interacting with patients on a face to face basis everyday allows for a number of
key services to be administered, which can take pressure of other healthcare professionals. Paul
Donaghy Phamacy, is located in the centre of Dungannon which is alow income area and has a high
number of foreign nationals, which had a number of services available to patients, the most popular
being smoking cessation, but it also offers weight management, monitoring dosage, care homes,
medicines use reviews for both respiratory and diabetics and drug substitution therapy. the pharmacy
had 10 patients on drug substitution therapy, which doesn t seem like a large amount of patients when
comparing with the numbers on other advanced services, but this service comes with its own
challenges. Most patients availing of this service come from an underprivileged or deprived area, and
are at the lower end of the income spectrum or are on benefits. This brings with it a negative
stereotype which as a pharmacist can be tough to gauge and deal with. Counselling each of these
patients brings a challenge as I was able to observe on a daily basis as each patients dose was
supervised daily. Prior to starting the service each patient had to sign a contract before undertaking

Essay on How Much Russia Changed from 1856-1894
How Much Russia Changed from 1856 1894
During the years of 1856 and 1894, Russia changed immensely in its policies and general state. It
went from being an ageing superpower into a country with internal problems and an ambience of
civilian unrest.
Alexander II realised the need to modernise Russia in order to prolong their status as a superpower.
This stemmed from their defeat in the Crimean war. To modernise and industrialise Russia, a free
workforce was needed and this could only be made available if people were freed from the land. This
meant that Alexander II would need to somehow release the serfs from their owner s land. Another
reason for emancipation was made clear in a quote from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, not all of Russia s problems were solved and indeed some of the reforms created new
problems. But generally, Russia changed a great deal during Alexander II s reign and the majority of
change was constructive.
Alexander III was faced with a number of dilemmas when he came to power. The assassination of his
father had a huge impact on him. He believed that all attempts at reform were futile and so followed a
policy of counter reform. His repressive measures became known as the Reaction . Some examples
include Russification, where national minority influence was limited and the Statue of State Security,
where judges, magistrates and officials sympathetic to liberal ideology were removed. During
Alexander III s reign, opposition grew tremendously. This was generally due to Alexander III s
repression, political stagnation and because if they did nothing, there would be no alternative to
autocracy.
In conclusion, Russia did not make a great deal of progress during Alexander III s reign. Alexander III
dealt with Russia s problems by using suppression. But this caused more opposition to the tsar as it
drove more support towards the violent revolutionary groups. In addition, some historians have said
that Alexander III s policy of suppression stopped Russia s progression and as such, Russia regressed
in terms of positive

Personality Theory Of Personality Development
Many personality theorists offered different explanations for human behaviors as well as established
specific stages of personality development. However, person centered theory does not have a theory of
personality structure, rather believes that it is essential to follow certain principles in order to develop
the self concept. Rogers s theory of personality is based on the notion that all individuals have the
innate ability to reach actualizing tendency and establish a self concept, which is congruent with his
whole experience (Warner, 2009). Rogers defined the actualizing tendency as the inborn motivating
force of the self, which move towards fulfilling and enhancing ones true potential. The actualizing
tendency applies to all living organism, however, in human this tendency is referred as self
actualization. According to Rogers (1980) actualizing tendency can be suppressed, though, it can
never be destroyed, without destroying the organism itself. This phenomenon is the motivating force
in the theory, which includes all motivations such as need, drive, or anxiety reduction. It also
encompasses, growth motivations for instance, the desire to be more creative and seeking of
pleasurable tensions. It is Rogers belief that all organisms including, humans strive to become his/her
full potential even under difficult circumstances. However, when individuals are lacking empathy and
unconditional positive regard in their society and in interpersonal relationship, then

The goal is to have new hires trained in time to start work in July. Carl is new at the job himself, and
this is his first recruitment effort. This, however, is no excuse for not being prepared for the task at

will need to evaluate, prioritize, and find solutions to each issue quickly. Carl has many obstacles to
overcome, but the July deadline is still a reachable goal. Key Problems Carl s performance, leading to
his failure, began when he did not think ahead in his process for new hires and the requirements of
himself and the new employees for the company. Before Carl started recruiting these individuals he

In purchasing matrix high risk products such as materials and plant machinery are normally purchased
by top management; and middle lower level managements are responsible in buying low risk products
such as office insurance and stationary. The Figure 1 shows the purchasing decision matrix of
industrial products.
Figure (1) The Risk Value Purchasing Decision Matrix
Source: Harrison et al. (2006)
In B2B markets, the buying process is often more complex as compare to B2C markets because of
purchasing risky products, B2B buyer needs to be more rational and should have comprehensive
knowledge about products and markets. Another problem associated with B2B marketing is that B2B
products are more complex and a B2B marketer needs to have full knowledge and technical expertise
in providing technical details to the customers at the time of sale (Harrison et al., 2006) and the
success of whole product line greatly depends on sales team in B2B context. In addition, in business
tobusiness markets, companies buy limited number of buying units by following Pareto Principle or
80:20 rules, so it is necessary for the B2B marketers to emphasise on establishing long term
relationships with buyers especially in emerging markets such as China, India and Russia.
From the past two decades, the most complex issue concerned with B2B marketing is B2B branding
that has received little attention of the

Essay Explain the Platonic Concept of Forms
Explain the Platonic concept of Forms.
Plato believed that reality is more than what we sense around the world (e.g. taste, smell, hear, see and

Forms and that the greatest thing we can learn is to have knowledge and understanding of them. Plato
s theory means that what we can sense around us (for example a chair) is just a mere shadow of the
perfect version which exists in the world of Forms. The perfect version of a chair is one in which for

regression, and therefore we have to ask ourselves, how big is the world of Forms?
Another reason why is it true to say that Forms teach us nothing about the real world is the queries of
the Form of evil. If the Forms are perfect versions and what we have in the world of our senses are
just mere shadows, how much worse can the evil get? And do we therefore really want to thrive to
become the perfect philosopher if it means experiencing that? For example, if Hitler caused so much
pain and suffering to so many people during the Holocaust, do we really want to go through that but of
a worse/bigger scale in the world of Forms? And also in what form are is the evil in? In the form of
famine and disease, murder and genesis or something much worse.
Aristotle, another famous philosopher, argued against Plato s well known theory of Forms and stated
that what we seen and experience is material whilst universals are only abstract projections of this.
This completely contradicts Plato s theory and so do many other philosophers such as Thomas
Aquinas. However, whilst it is possible that one of these theories are right there is no evidence to
support it which is another one of the theories floors.
Another common criticism of Plato s theory is that although the Form of good has had an influence of
Christian teachings and theology, it is extremely difficult to see how

Love In The Poem In William Shakespeare s Meaning Of Love
Initial Thoughts The meaning of this poem didn t immediately grab me until I read the lines Half drew
him in, half lured him in that was when I realized that Goethe was talking about being lured in by a
siren or a nixe. At first the poem speaks to me about love at first sight. That is what I pulled from it at
the beginning but as I said above, that one line threw me into it being about a siren s song. Luring you
in until you get devoured and disappear. Did Goethe love someone that he would have disappeared
with? The siren s song is something anyone could get forced into and lose themselves. Aspect(s) of
Interest Love, that is what interests me the most in this poem. I m a softy when it comes to love
poems, they pull me in. I was surprised that I wouldn t have chosen a poem from the romantics and
didn t go with the classic William Shakespeare, but alas, the siren s song pulled me in. The fisherman
seemed to be living a somewhat happy live fishing to his heart s content. He also seemed to be day
dreaming a bit just staring at the water. Who wouldn t get pulled into the siren s song? Only Odysseus
I have read has ever pulled out of the grasp of the siren s song. Many people do the same today.
Getting sucked into relationships that they no longer want to be in but seemed to be sucked into
staying. Just be Odysseus pull yourselves out of it and live a better life. Love isn t about being forced
into something, you shouldn t even have to try. Historical Context The age of

Bad Role Models
Police data published by Daily Mail on the Internet, provides evidence suggesting that one crime is
committed every five seconds in the United States of America. Resulting in seventeen thousand two
hundred eight crimes per day. This shocking number evidently demonstrates that on average too many
crimes are committed everyday, and while this data is a reliable source that can be relied on to give
people an idea of how many crimes are committed everyday on average; it fails in informing us on the
reasons or in what situation the criminals were in to have to be in a position to break the law. Many
criminals are thought to be bad people who do things just because they are bad, but many times not
being a criminal for many people is inevitable. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I believe that people who have necessities in life have no choice than to do anything to no longer have
those necessities. Many people grow up not having anything going towards their way say they end up
getting involved in gangs, and doing bad things breaking the law everyday. But what happens when
you are the head of the family and you re not putting food on the table and the only way out of that is
by selling drugs? Everyone generally assumes that people in jail, or prison had something to do with
drugs. I m not saying that everyone is in a correctional facility because of drugs, but a big percentage
of the people in jail in ghetto places are because of drugs, and why is that? Because drugs are the
easiest way of getting out of being poor, or at least that what people who sell them think. When a
teenager is arrested because of possession of drugs in a ghetto town, it s not very alarming because we
all expect that to happen, but what happens when a middle age white man who has never had any
problems with the law is arrested for the same reason? That s when we start asking questions and learn
the truth of why people act in such ways. The person known as the head of the family is usually
always thought to be the leader of the family. The leader of the family has responsibilities, and one of
them is to provide for the family, and to protect them. Many family leaders have always been very

Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol
Can Charles Dickens be considered one of the greatest writers of all time? Many think yes, definitely.
But what else could he be honored for? Charles Dickens is one of many well known authors, and that
is credited to his various books, such as Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, and many more. Through all
of Dickens s momentous writings, he has influenced the modern world in many forms, from the way
we see certain phrases, to the way we see people affected by poverty. Many of Dickens s books are
still studied in schools today, one of those being A Christmas Carol, in which he talks about England
being smothered in snow. As a result of the phrase A White Christmas, Dickens has popularized the
idea of a perfect, snowy Christmas throughout

What Are The Causes Of The Imperial Crisis
The Imperial Crisis was a series of events that lead to the formation of the United States of the country
and our cessation of relations with Great Britain. It was not so much one big event, as it was many
smaller events that slowly pushed the American over the edge until they had enough; you could say it
was a straw that broke the camel s back sort of situation. There are several important events in this
series of straws , taking place from 1763 to 1776. In the mid 1600s, the American colonists were very
hungry for new land, and were going ever westward. This lust for expansion, predictably, caused
troubles with local Native Americans. King George wanted to stem the conflict, and so ordered the
Royal Proclamation of 1763 to go in effect, keeping colonists from going west past a certain line so
that the relationship with the tribes could stabilize. This angered colonists, who didn t see the point
and cared more about land than relations with the Native American tribes, so they went west anyway.
Just the fact that the king gave the order infuriated them. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once again, the British were meddling in colonial affairs, and the colonists felt that the British were
out of touch with the Americans. The sugar act reduced the tax on foreign importation of molasses and
other goods, but it was more strictly enforced. It had a negative effect on colonial economies,
especially the rum trade, and caused boycotts. Americans were becoming more and more angry with
British meddling, especially this law which was seen as Britain only trying to help itself even if the
colonies got harmed economically in the

Reflective Essay For Journalism
I selected journalism as my elective for this year because I wanted to continue the journalism career
that I began in middle school since it allowed me to write about topics that grasped my interest and
passion aside from writing required essays in a classroom setting. In addition, I believed that this
course would allow me to improve my writing skills by learning the ethical, grammatical, and
organizational concepts relating to journalism, such as the code of ethics, the inverted pyramid, and
the editorial hierarchy. I also hoped for the course to help me with responsibility and time
management since I knew I would have to write articles and have other loads of works from other
classes. Not to mention, journalism has allowed me to be motivated to write an outstanding article not
for the grade, but for the sole purpose to make the article right. In middle school journalism was an
extracurricular activity and this year I was graded on my personal interests, my time management, and
my writing quality rather than on the actual learning of a subject. This course has challenged me to
write outstanding pieces of work based on my motivation and time management as well without as
many guidelines and structure given. It also made me a lot more confident since it requires interaction
outside of class to acquire sources for articles. Thus, through reporting I able to establish a rapport
with people and build a network. Overall, this course had helped me become a people person,

User Friendly Budget
On January 14, 2015 the Local Finance Board (LFB), which is part of the Division of Local
Government Services, adopted regulations that require municipalities in the State of New Jersey to
complete on an annual basis a User Friendly Budget document. As a result of this requirement, as of
fiscal year 2015, New Jersey municipalities must submit to the Division of Local Government
Services a User Friendly Budget as part of their annual budget package. Due this requirement, as a
member of the Department of Local Government Services, I am developing a strategic research plan
for determining whether or not the new requirement to create a User Friendly Budget is having a
positive impact on local government. The proposed research project will analyze ... Show more

These three objectives are: i) to summarize the annual municipal budgets; ii) to display information on
key cost drivers; and iii) to better explain the municipal budget s impact on local property taxes. As
described by the LFB, these objectives were adopted to address the fact that local municipality
budgets tend to be complicated and confusing and can run upwards of 50 or more pages. Creation of
the User Friendly Budget was intended to result in a simplified presentation of the actual municipal
budget. Information included in the User Friendly Budget consists, among other items, of the tax
impact, revenue summary, appropriation summary, structural imbalances, tax assessment, and
personnel costs. This information is designed to give citizens a brief understanding of the how a local
municipal budget is going to operate based on revenue and expenditures for the coming fiscal year. In
creating this research project, a logic model was used to demonstrate the resources, activities and
outputs that are necessary in order to analyze the two proposed hypotheses. The resources in each
municipality involved in the creation of a User Friendly budget include the LFB which required the
use of User Friendly Budgets, the local municipal mayor, town council members and Chief Financial
Officer (CFO), all of whom create the budget, and local citizens who provide this group feedback on
any proposed budget. Consequently, these are the resources that must be involved in the analysis of
the two

Social Reform In The Progressive Era
The Progressive Era s reform efforts were conducted by the Progressives who were mainly middle
class, passionately religious, men and women who had extra time, money, and resources to dedicate to
the reform efforts (Schultz, 2014). Women and followers of the Social Gospel movement were the two
main groups behind the reform. Progressive reformers set out to end corruption in politics, improve
lives of all humans, and boost governments intervention to safeguard citizens. The Social Gospel
Movement was huge in the fight against prostitution, trying to end poverty, and achieving social
justice. Two main leaders were Washington Gladden and Walter Rauschenbusch who hit hard

to participate in community policing initiatives, which are designed to help residents and police

theories that have been used in determining Americans attitudes toward the police (Schuck et al.,

Asbestos Industry Research Paper
For many years the asbestos industry manufacturers, suppliers, product developers, insurance
companies, etc claimed that they had no knowledge that asbestos could endanger the health and well
being of asbestos workers. Rather than protecting their employees and seeing a lower bottom line
these firms instead chose to hide the facts and deny any allegations that asbestos was causing their
employees to get sick and die. However, the dangers related to the inhalation of asbestos fibers had
been known for close to two thousand years. In ancient Rome, Pilny the Elder observed that slaves
who were forced to work in the quarries exhibited a high degree of lung sickness. In 1918 a report
published by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics noted that people who worked in the
asbestos industry were dying at an unusually young age. By the mid 1920s the U.S. asbestos industry
had already settled its first ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The insurance company observed that typically exposure to asbestos leads to disability and death.
Nonetheless, until the early 1970s the industry chose to hide the dangers related to asbestos. Initially,
one of the methods they used was to settle worker s compensation claims instead of fighting battles in
the courts. However, within a short amount of time they instead chose to not admit to any wrong doing
at all and neither would they admit to any liability. In the early 1970s various agencies in the
government started to direct the public s attention to the dangers associated with the use of asbestos.
Although they set up guidelines for its use the United States government chose not to ban its use. The
U.S. is actually one of the few industrialized countries in the world that has not outlawed the use of
asbestos. However, companies were warned that they better start protecting their employees by issuing

Grit Is Never Giving Up By Angela Lee Duckworth
According to Angela Lee Duckworth, success is not based on intelligence, good looks, health or IQ.
Success is based on one thing: Grit. Grit is being determined to work hard. Grit is being determined to
do your best and to give it your all. Grit is never giving up. Angela Lee Duckworth said, Grit is
sticking with your future, day in and day out, not just for the week, not just for the month, but for
years. To me, this quote means that you should never give up on your dreams and to always try your
best to achieve them. This quote can be connected to my life, the arts, and even the world around us. A
time in my life that I showed grit was when I was about 9 years old, I took my first acting class at the
YMCA. I had done Christmas themed musicals

Death Marches During The Holocaust
Death Marches Jewish prisoners were forced to walk hundreds of kilometers, for up to a month, in
freezing cold temperatures by the Nazis of Germany during the Holocaust. The prisoners were forced
to go through weeks of suffering, even though they were walking away from their liberators. It is
important to remember why death marches were initiated, the suffering the prisoners had to go
through, and the major death marches with the most deaths. Death marches were initiated in 1944, and
the SS guards called them evakuierung, a euphemism meaning evacuation. Most of the time, prisoners
were given one loaf of bread for the whole march, and a few rags to keep warm. If they couldn t keep
up, the prisoners were shot. Death marches were an easy and convenient way to evacuate camps and
kill off many Jews. There were many different reasons for initiating death marches, the Jews went
through a lot of suffering, there were many different major marches, and the prisoners died for many
different reasons. Initiation of Death Marches Death marches began as a way to evacuate the
concentration camps. The Germans knew they would soon be defeated, so they attempted to erase
their actions. Death marches were an easy way to transport the Jews, as well as kill them off. So they
forced Jews on long forced marches to escape the Soviet, British, and United States forces. The three
main reasons for evacuations were authorities did not want prisoners to fall into enemy hands alive to
tell their

Incarceration Within The Federal Bureau Of Prisons Over the past forty years the increased of mass incarceration within the Federal Bureau of Prisons has increased more than 700 percent since the 1970 s, between the different type of ethnicity. Billions of dollars have spent to house offenders and to maintain their everyday life from rehabilitation programs, academic education, vocational training, substance abuse programs and medical care. The cost of incarceration climbs according to the level of security based on violent and non violent crimes. Fewer staff is required in minimum and medium security prisons that house low level offenders. Incarceration is likely to serves as one indicator of other co occurring risks and vulnerabilities that makes families particularly fragile. Mass incarceration is likely to increase if awareness is not implicated to reduce the rate of imprisonment and broken families to take back their communities and reclaim their hope for the future. Thesis Statement There are many offenders within the criminal justice system, the political economy of the prison crisis in America has increased over the years which creates a questions on the way dollars sense works. With a nation of fewer crimes, prison population will diminish, but does that deter our political system to have taxpayers contribute less to the way prison systems are tracked? • 3. The Westward Spread of Inca and Egyptian Culture Essay The Westward Spread of Inca and Egyptian Culture The second half of the twentieth century has seen many changes in theories concerning the mode of colonization of the islands of Micronesia, and the rise of the Inca Empire, with it s striking similarities to Egypt. In the past, it has been suggested that Asians had worked their way through the Pacific, over a period of thousands of years. It was believed that each island group had formed independently, and that the residents, while they were of the same race, had totally different cultures. Since the 1940 s, however, these views have been changing. It is now accepted by many scholars that early Egyptians sailed as far west as South America, in their huge ... These reed boats were the same size and specification of the boats used by Egyptians, and the people who crewed them began, among other things, building pyramids and statues, many of which still stand throughout Central and South America (Ra 3). In fact, the most concrete piece of evidence linking the Egyptians and early Americans is a small stone statue, discovered in Mexico, bearing features that are decidedly similar to those of Egyptian sculpture. The statue was carbon dated 800 BC (Begley, et al 28), long before Europeans were said to have contacted Central and South Americans. The Aztecs and Mayas of Central America also provide evidence of Egyptian contact. The starting date of the Maya calendar is 12, 3113 BC. This is in the middle of the first dynasty of the Pharaohs. If these Indians had already been in the Western Hemisphere for 15,000 years, why was it only after the Egyptians started using calendars that they did, and used such similar methods. Mayan and Aztec texts also state that they became civilized only after a man, claiming descent from the sun arrived from the Gulf of Mexico, with a complement of astronomers, architects and priests. The Aztecs called the man/god Quetzalcoatl, and the Mayans called him Kukulkan. Both names translate as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Like The Greedy Wolf Analysis In the years of 1807 to 1831, tragedy struck for The Blackfoot Indians, the British, and American citizens. In Like the Greedy Wolf, the article focuses more on the history and events people assume took place at the time, but did these events actually happen? The article does not go into detail on the impact it made upon the leaders and people involved, nor does it give the most accurate, in stone details. This article places emphases on a collection of documents rather than an informational article. In paragraph one, disaster hit the city of St. Louis on the fifteenth of July in 1823. News eventually spread by the Missouri Republican. The newspaper stated, The Blackfoot had attacked trappers on the Yellowstone River near the Crow village. The newspaper goes along to explain the attack on the leaders, Robert Jones and Michael Immell. It is explained after these two were shot down, the soldiers fighting under the two leaders, had no guidance. These soldiers were quickly slaughtered and robbed of their 25 packs of fur. After the paragraph was published, the editor of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These paragraphs were a matter of speculation. A suggestion and an order are two completely different ideas. If a statement is made in an article, then it is presumed to be accurate and true. Also, the use of the word, they, should not be included in an article, however this word is found in both paragraph ten and sixteen. • 5. Private Military Contractors In The Middle East Throughout the Middle East, the use of private military contractors has significantly heightened, due to the call of attacks in these countries. PMC s take up much cost for a country to fund, and the increasing rates are bringing drawbacks onto working citizens. However, there PMC s are also vital in order for a country to maintain its armed security forces. On the other hand, mercenaries are people who take part in armed conflicts. The PMC s hire these mercenaries to work under them in helping take part in hostilities, but receive benefits for their own gains. Recently, the United Nations Mercenary Convention (UNMC) has placed restrictions upon PMC s in the use of mercenaries, in order to create specifications between commercial and government uses of these protection services. Sweden has very little support and funds for the use of these PMC s, due to the lack of high military activity. Current Issues: In the Middle East, and other countries active in their military uses, are raising high questions of controversy against whether or not PMC s should be implemented at an international scale. After these countries in the middle east have been hit with attacks, there has been thought on how to promote entrusted security for the countries. However, the use of these PMC s can lead to security faults in diplomatic officials, and can cause unstable regions throughout a country as we have seen happen in Libya in 2012. On the contrary, PMC s can be ideal in post war ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. The Wife Of Bath Prologue And John Webster s The Duchess... Stephanie Polkowski Dr. Finnlayson ENGL 311 11/24/14 Entertainment and education through the oppression of women finds a common place in Geoffrey Chaucer s The Wife of Bath Prologue and John Webster s The Duchess of Malfi. In both stories the audience is introduced to the idea of female independence and strength through a confident and skilled female character who envelops the knowledge required to subvert the standards of patriarchal and misogynistic society. While both women in the The Wife of Bath Prologue and The Duchess of Malfi are varied characters who (think they) exude authority and seem to be able to live outside the limitations of a patriarchal society, at a closer look it is obvious this is not the case. Chaucer and Webster have both developed a story that parallel the stereotypes of the misogynist political and social structure of the time. Furthermore, they have blended comedy and entertainment to create stories that are didactic in nature they reaffirm the stereotype of unruly widows and ultimately show that no good will come to women who attempt to live outside the structural confines of the patriarchal and misogynist structures of society. Geoffrey Chaucer s The Wife of Bath Prologue is a text which employs the female voice through an exaggerated female narrator who believes her life experience provides her the authority necessary to weigh in on the conflict that is marriage and a woman s role within that marriage. Upon further analysis one may argue that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Interpersonal Communication In The Classroom In 2005 at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School in Louisville, Ky I walked into the Behavioral Disorder classroom headed up by Mr. Miracle. He was an attractive older man with gray temples and salt pepper strands throughout his fully filled head. He had a smile that was tired but genuine and Paul Newman blue eyes that shined. He had been a Special Education teacher for over 20 years and he was exhausted. His disposition convinced me that working with special needs children was not going to a long term plan if I wanted any sort of happily ever after. The classroom consisted of seven students, who were the picture of diversity via race, socioeconomics and cognitive ability. Their diagnosis ranged from conduct disorder to autism spectrum disorder. It was one student with vocal stereotypy, which is non functional speech that could consist of singing, squeals, babbling, repetitive sounds and so on, who emitted sounds from the Three Stooges. If the student was happy we could hear her making nyuk nyuk and wooes , but if the student was unhappy she would utter says oh a wise guy . • 12. All Men Are Created Equal In the United States Declaration of Independence, the phrase, All men are created equal is a phrase people refer to, when dealing with equality in America. A feature through the different selections in American Dreams is equality because America is a place where everyone has the same opportunity to achieve anything. Equality and opportunity given to people has evolved since the founding fathers, but there s been stages in America s history where equality is only given to specific people, not everyone. Equality and opportunity are elements in involved in the song, This Land is Your Land, by Woody Guthrie. Everyone who is born in America has an equal opportunity to do anything in mind. Woody Guthrie writes, As I was walking that ribbon of highway I saw above me that endless skyway, I saw below me that golden valleys: This land for you and me (Guthrie 54). In other words, Guthrie said it does not matter what a person s situation may be. Whether a person is poor or wealthy the opportunity for them to be successful is there for the taking. Despite a person s background, he or she has the opportunity to have any career or lifestyle he or she wants. Being born to Mexican parents who do not have any education and work in labor jobs does not prohibit me from trying to achieve my dreams. • 13. Analytical Analysis Of Frost At Midnight By Samuel Coleridge Analytical essay of Frost at Midnight by Samuel Coleridge People think that nature brings a sort of calmness, happiness or peace, which is why most people travel to places with beautiful sceneries, or build houses near beaches, or have a plant in their surrounding or even just a painting of a tree, flower or mountain. The importance of nature is subjective as it nature touches people in different ways. The poem Frost at Midnight, Samuel Coleridge, is a monolingual conversation between the speaker and his sleeping infant. It is written in blank verse, with little or no rhyme but in iambic pentameter. In this poem, the speaker emphasises the importance of nature by equating it to God, he also speaks about the ability of nature to create treasured memories, which he wants to use to plant himself in his child s future, therefore, he his rallying against modernization because of this. The speaker stresses the importance of nature by comparing it to God, he says that his child will be far from God because he will not be able to hear God s voice which apparently is, The lovely shapes and sounds intelligible / Of that eternal language... (65 66). I believe that this comparison is quite different as most religions such as Christianity do not equate God with earth but instead suggests that God created earth (New International Version, Gen. 1.1). This sentence makes me think that God can mean different things to different people. The thing or person we worship the most or respect the most can be a god, money can be a god, a popular music artist can be a god, and a tyrannical president can also be a god. The speaker s definition of a God involved the ability to: from eternity doth teach Himself in all... Great universal Teacher! (67 69).The speaker s definition of God entails the ability to be able to teach one s self and be able to mold spirits. Thereby nature is important in this way because it can mold people s spirits and lives. Another way in which the speaker stresses the importance of nature is by stating benefits from nature. He is sitting at home and staring out through the window, looking at the fluttering object and listening to the owl while the rest of the residents in the house are asleep. He is in his ... PTSD And Its Impact On My Life If there s one event that has made a huge impact in my life it would have to be a roll over car accident that my parents, aunt, and I were when I was in sixth grade. This car accident has impacted me negatively by leaving me with PTSD and positively by figuring out what career I am pursuing. This car accident led me to have PTSD, which stands for post traumatic stress disorder. It is a disorder that follows a traumatic event. It made me into who I am today because even though it happened nine years ago I still feel the effects as if it happened yesterday. For example, when my friend s dad was also in a bad car accident and I went with them to see the car I had an anxiety attack because I had flashbacks. I went months with nightmares and whenever I saw something that reminded me of that day I would shut down. PTSD made something that people do so effortlessly into something absolutely terrifying for me which is driving. I still can t drive in big cities like Sioux City ... It shaped me into who I am today because it makes me want to be able to help people when tragedy strikes or whenever they are in need just like those paramedics helped my family. I want to be able to repay all that was done for my family and I by pursuing this job. Knowing that I can make a difference in people s life is what drives me through this tough career. Those paramedics acted quickly and very sufficiently by knowing what to do without hesitation and that dedication is what motivates me to continue on reading that extra chapter to be ahead, and to study 10 plus hours a ... Pharmacist are at the frontline of the healthcare system, interacting with patients on a face to face basis everyday allows for a number of key services to be administered, which can take pressure of other healthcare professionals. Paul Donaghy Phamacy, is located in the centre of Dungannon which is alow income area and has a high number of foreign nationals, which had a number of services available to patients, the most popular being smoking cessation, but it also offers weight management, monitoring dosage, care homes, medicines use reviews for both respiratory and diabetics and drug substitution therapy. the pharmacy had 10 patients on drug substitution therapy, which doesn t seem like a large amount of patients when comparing with the numbers on other advanced services, but this service comes with its own challenges. Most patients availing of this service come from an underprivileged or deprived area, and are at the lower end of the income spectrum or are on benefits. This brings with it a negative stereotype which as a pharmacist can be tough to gauge and deal with. Counselling each of these patients brings a challenge as I was able to observe on a daily basis as each patients dose was supervised daily. It went from being an ageing superpower into a country with internal problems and an ambience of civilian unrest. Alexander II realised the need to modernise Russia in order to prolong their status as a superpower. This stemmed from their defeat in the Crimean war. To modernise and industrialise Russia, a free workforce was needed and this could only be made available if people were freed from the land. This meant that Alexander II would need to somehow release the serfs from their owner s land. Another reason for emancipation was made clear in a quote from ... But generally, Russia changed a great deal during Alexander II s reign and the majority of change was constructive. Alexander III was faced with a number of dilemmas when he came to power. The assassination of his father had a huge impact on him. He believed that all attempts at reform were futile and so followed a policy of counter reform. His repressive measures became known as the Reaction . Some examples include Russification, where national minority influence was limited and the Statue of State Security, where judges, magistrates and officials sympathetic to liberal ideology were removed. During Alexander III s reign, opposition grew tremendously. This was generally due to Alexander III s repression, political stagnation and because if they did nothing, there would be no alternative to autocracy. In conclusion, Russia did not make a great deal of progress during Alexander III s reign. Alexander III dealt with Russia s problems by using suppression. But this caused more opposition to the tsar as it drove more support towards the violent revolutionary groups. In addition, some historians have said that Alexander III s policy of suppression stopped Russia s progression and as such, Russia regressed in terms of positive ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, person centered theory does not have a theory of personality structure, rather believes that it is essential to follow certain principles in order to develop the self concept. Rogers s theory of personality is based on the notion that all individuals have the innate ability to reach actualizing tendency and establish a self concept, which is congruent with his whole experience (Warner, 2009). Rogers defined the actualizing tendency as the inborn motivating force of the self, which move towards fulfilling and enhancing ones true potential. The actualizing tendency applies to all living organism, however, in human this tendency is referred as self actualization. According to Rogers (1980) actualizing tendency can be suppressed, though, it can never be destroyed, without destroying the organism itself. This phenomenon is the motivating force in the theory, which includes all motivations such as need, drive, or anxiety reduction. It also encompasses, growth motivations for instance, the desire to be more creative and seeking of pleasurable tensions. (2006) In B2B markets, the buying process is often more complex as compare to B2C markets because of purchasing risky products, B2B buyer needs to be more rational and should have comprehensive knowledge about products and markets. Another problem associated with B2B marketing is that B2B products are more complex and a B2B marketer needs to have full knowledge and technical expertise in providing technical details to the customers at the time of sale (Harrison et al., 2006) and the success of whole product line greatly depends on sales team in B2B context. In addition, in business tobusiness markets, companies buy limited number of buying units by following Pareto Principle or 80:20 rules, so it is necessary for the B2B marketers to emphasise on establishing long term relationships with buyers especially in emerging markets such as China, India and Russia. • 20. Essay Explain the Platonic Concept of Forms Explain the Platonic concept of Forms. Plato believed that reality is more than what we sense around the world (e.g. taste, smell, hear, see and touch), he believed that behind these physical realities lies a perfect version of them in which he called Forms and that the greatest thing we can learn is to have knowledge and understanding of them. Plato s theory means that what we can sense around us (for example a chair) is just a mere shadow of the perfect version which exists in the world of Forms. The perfect version of a chair is one in which for fills its purpose e.g. to be comfortable and to be sat on. Plato believed that everything had a perfect Form, from objects such as pens and books to things such as beauty and justice. He ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This can be traced backwards to every single item that is in the real world creating an infinite regression, and therefore we have to ask ourselves, how big is the world of Forms? Another reason why is it true to say that Forms teach us nothing about the real world is the queries of the Form of evil. If the Forms are perfect versions and what we have in the world of our senses are just mere shadows, how much worse can the evil get? And do we therefore really want to thrive to become the perfect philosopher if it means experiencing that? For example, if Hitler caused so much pain and suffering to so many people during the Holocaust, do we really want to go through that but of a worse/bigger scale in the world of Forms? And also in what form are is the evil in? In the form of famine and disease, murder and genesis or something much worse. Aristotle, another famous philosopher, argued against Plato s well known theory of Forms and stated that what we seen and experience is material whilst universals are only abstract projections of this. This completely contradicts Plato s theory and so do many other philosophers such as Thomas Aquinas. However, whilst it is possible that one of these theories are right there is no evidence to support it which is another one of the theories floors. Another common criticism of Plato s theory is that although the Form of good has had an influence of Christian teachings and theology, it is extremely difficult to see how ... Love In The Poem In William Shakespeare s Meaning Of Love Initial Thoughts The meaning of this poem didn t immediately grab me until I read the lines Half drew him in, half lured him in that was when I realized that Goethe was talking about being lured in by a siren or a nixe. At first the poem speaks to me about love at first sight. That is what I pulled from it at the beginning but as I said above, that one line threw me into it being about a siren s song. Luring you in until you get devoured and disappear. Did Goethe love someone that he would have disappeared with? The siren s song is something anyone could get forced into and lose themselves. Aspect(s) of Interest Love, that is what interests me the most in this poem. I m a softy when it comes to love poems, they pull me in. I was surprised that I wouldn t have chosen a poem from the romantics and didn t go with the classic William Shakespeare, but alas, the siren s song pulled me in. The fisherman seemed to be living a somewhat happy live fishing to his heart s content. He also seemed to be day dreaming a bit just staring at the water. Many people grow up not having anything going towards their way say they end up getting involved in gangs, and doing bad things breaking the law everyday. Everyone generally assumes that people in jail, or prison had something to do with drugs. I m not saying that everyone is in a correctional facility because of drugs, but a big percentage of the people in jail in ghetto places are because of drugs, and why is that? Because drugs are the easiest way of getting out of being poor, or at least that what people who sell them think. What Are The Causes Of The Imperial Crisis The Imperial Crisis was a series of events that lead to the formation of the United States of the country and our cessation of relations with Great Britain. It was not so much one big event, as it was many smaller events that slowly pushed the American over the edge until they had enough; you could say it was a straw that broke the camel s back sort of situation. There are several important events in this series of straws , taking place from 1763 to 1776. In the mid 1600s, the American colonists were very hungry for new land, and were going ever westward. This lust for expansion, predictably, caused troubles with local Native Americans. King George wanted to stem the conflict, and so ordered the Royal Proclamation of 1763 to go in effect, keeping colonists from going west past a certain line so that the relationship with the tribes could stabilize. Creation of the User Friendly Budget was intended to result in a simplified presentation of the actual municipal budget. Information included in the User Friendly Budget consists, among other items, of the tax impact, revenue summary, appropriation summary, structural imbalances, tax assessment, and personnel costs. Death Marches During The Holocaust Death Marches Jewish prisoners were forced to walk hundreds of kilometers, for up to a month, in freezing cold temperatures by the Nazis of Germany during the Holocaust. The prisoners were forced to go through weeks of suffering, even though they were walking away from their liberators. It is important to remember why death marches were initiated, the suffering the prisoners had to go through, and the major death marches with the most deaths. Death marches were initiated in 1944, and the SS guards called them evakuierung, a euphemism meaning evacuation. Most of the time, prisoners were given one loaf of bread for the whole march, and a few rags to keep warm. If they couldn t keep up, the prisoners were shot. Death marches were an easy and convenient way to evacuate camps and kill off many Jews. There were many different reasons for initiating death marches, the Jews went through a lot of suffering, there were many different major marches, and the prisoners died for many different reasons. Initiation of Death Marches Death marches began as a way to evacuate the concentration camps. The Germans knew they would soon be defeated, so they attempted to erase their actions.
