Becoming A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
For as long as I can remember, I have always desired to work in the healthcare field. At an extremely
young age, I wanted to become a doctor. Later on in life, I wanted to be a pharmacist. During my
sophomore year of high school, I finally decided that I wanted to become a nurse. At this time, I did
not know what kind of nurse I wanted to become, but I knew that nursing was my purpose. What I
found to be the most captivating was the broadness of the field of nursing. Pursuing this further, I
could work in any environment that I longed for. After further researching this particular field, I
finally decided that I wanted to be a Neonatal nurse practitioner. Neonatal nurse practitioners serve as
primary caregivers for premature babies and other newborns who require special care due to low birth
rate, respitory distress, congenital heart defects or various other abnormalities and disorders
(education portal). The road to becoming a Neonatal nurse practitioner is not easy. Of course, one
must obtain undergraduate education before beginning neonatal studies. Community colleges offer
associates degrees in nursing and four year institutions offer a bachelors. Aspiring nurse practitioners
must earn a master s degree or doctor of nursing practice degree in Neonatal Nursing. These programs
generally take two to three years. Training is provided by the employer after graduation during class
and in the NICU through a mentorship. This training may take anywhere from six weeks to

How To Solve The Cuban Missile Crisis
In 1959, Cuban nationalist, Fidel Castro, sent his army into Havana and usurped General Batista, the
American supported President. The U.S. State Department and CIA, launched a full out invasion of
Cuba. Unfortunately, the invasion failed, greatly outnumbered by Castro s troops, the invaders
surrendered after less than a day of fighting. This failed invasion on Cuba to seize the Castro regime,
is called the Bay of Pigs invasion. In July of 1962, Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev made a secret
deal with Cuba to handle any future invasions. The benefit to the Soviet s was to place their nuclear
missiles on Cuban soil which was just 90 miles from American shores.
Evidence of the missiles location and its owners being Soviet was quickly discovered by the U.S..
President Kennedy released a public announcement warning the American nation about the dangerous
weapons in Cuba. On the 14th of October, a U.S. U 2 aircraft captured photographs of the sites for
medium and intermediate range of nuclear missiles. The pictures were shown to the White House soon
after and the Cuban Missile Crisis earned its name. The President called for his advisors to help weigh
the options and determine the best course of action for the U.S. that would rightfully solve the issue.
Some advisors argued for an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

met with the Soviet Union s Ambassador to the U.S., Anatoly Dobrynin. Robert Kennedy specified

An Introduction Of Analgesic And Anti Inflammatory
CHAPTER 1
Introduction and Background
Introduction
Analgesic and anti inflammatory are often used in the Philippines. They manage pain by altering other
afferent input. Anti inflammatory are used to mobilize the body s defense and destroys
microorganisms, so tissue repair can proceed. Inflammatory response lasts longer, and drugs are used
to suppress the symptoms that cause inflammation.
Plants have first been discovered throughout human history as a source of food and energy. The use of
them as medicinal agents predates written human history. At present, plants are now rampant sources
of various types of medicines and remedies, whether they are pharmaceutically manufactured or used
naturally. The term medicinal plants are referred to as the plants themselves, while plant medicines are
the pharmaceutical preparations prepared from those plants. (Kilham, C. and Helene, Z., 2012).
Abelmoschus esculentus L., commonly known as okra or ladies finger , is a substantial vegetable
common among Filipino homes. The pods of okra are usually gathered while they are green, tender
and at immature stage. The plant is cultivated throughout the tropical and warm temperate regions
around the world for their fibrous fruits or pods .
Background of the Study
Abelmoschus esculentus Linn., Family Malvaceae, locally known as Okra (ladies fingers) is an annual

Essay on Critical Issue on Psychological Debriefing
Critical Issue on Psychological Debriefing
Two facts presented by Mitchell of the critical issue (Mitchell, 1983).
The CISD protocol that Mitchell described was a group process of seven distinct phases. Prior to this
Mitchell used a six stage model (Mitchell, 1983).
The Society working party on psychological debriefing was given the aim of evaluating the available
information and opinions and producing a clear statement on the status of psychological debriefing
(Mitchell, 1983)
Two facts presented by Devilly and Cotton on Critical issue Cotton and Devilly, (2003):
Psychological debriefing is a technique employed by social workers, clinicians, etc in which victims
are encouraged to relive traumatic experiences and are warned of ... Show more content on

It was said from the studies they all failed because they did not demonstrate a clear benefit of
debriefing (McNally et al., 2003), with intervention groups and control groups reporting equivalent
posttraumatic symptoms.
Psychological debriefing responded to these results by claiming there is only one component of a
comprehensive approach to crisis management and it is meaningless to evaluate the effectiveness of
this one component as a singular intervention strategy (McNally et al., 2003). The heart of this debate
is the issue of whether psychological debriefing might be a waste of resources (Brewin, 2001;
McNally, 2004). Mitchell has been shown to be credible because of the seven steps he believes to be
workable. In 1983, he introduced Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). The model he developed
was designed to prevent and manage the horror resulting from traumatic stress, and reduce the
casualties among emergency service personnel. Mitchell model poses the below seven unique phases,
which are integrated with stress education and information throughout the process.
Introductory phase (rules and process explained).
Fact phase (what they saw, heard, smelled, touched and did).
Thought phase (first thoughts).
Feeling phase (emotional reaction).
Assessment phase (physical or psychological symptoms).
Education phase (stress response syndrome).
Re entry phase (referral information), (Kenardy et al., 1996, pg 38)

Royal Ontario Museum is known to be one of the best attractions in Toronto. Out of all the guests,
according to the ROM s exit survey, 71% of guests were families. Furthermore, younger visitors,
including millennials, were more general visitors whom came to with no specific purpose. A study
from the National Endowment for the Arts found that in 2008 23 24% of the millenials went to a
museum once in a year. In 2012, only 18 22% of the millenials did so (GBriff, 2015). The museums

The Victoria and Albert Museum created many different ways to interact with the visitors. First, they
created their website to be easily navigated and created interactive exercises such as Design a Wig to
promote their exhibitions. By visitors having fun with creating a wig, it builds anticipation on their
visit and creates more reason to visit the museum. At the museum itself, visitors will be met with the
Hands On Exhibitions. The exhibitions allows the visitors to try on Victorian costumes, make a brass
rubbing or a giant slider puzzle, try on armour gauntlet, design their own tea post, and more ().
Through out the whole experience, the visitors are met with fun interactive activities that are not only
geared toward children, but adults as well. At Science Museum London, they take pride in their own
section of interactive exhibits. Launchpad, packed with over 50 interactive exhibits geared to ward 8
14 years old, is now closed as the museum prepares to open new Interactive Gallery. The new
Interactive Gallery, 60% larger than Launchpad will engage all visitors in the drama and spectacle of
math and science (). This change was done to better engage the adults, especially experience seeking
millennials. One of Gen Y panel member from Millennial Marketing recalled that: My best museum
experiences were London Science Museum and Victoria Albert. One common thing these both
museums have is that they mange to interact with their visitors. Once you walked into the exhibition
hall, you find yourself in some place like Wonderland. The interior design, interactive tools and toys
are simply designed to create a magical experience. It is never boring. A magical land would never be

Essay On Larry Bird
Indiana loves its basketball. When driving throughout the state, basketball hoops are part of the
scenery, dotting thousands of barn doors, garage doors, and driveways along the way. Hoosiers are
passionate about this sport. In the book, Drive the Story of my Life, by Larry Bird with Bob Ryan,
talks about his life growing up in Indiana and his storied career as a basketball player. Bird was born
into a hard working, lower class family in West Baden Springs, Indiana. Throughout his life Larry
Bird was fueled by hard work and perseverance to become one of the greatest basketball players of
our time.
Hard work was instilled into Larry Bird from a young age. His family was not wealthy and his parents

The Boston Celtics had 29 wins the season before they drafted Bird. The team improved by 32 games
to go 61 21 in Bird s first season. The main reason they won so many more games was because of
Larry Bird. Bird was not just a shooter, he was also a great passer and rebounder too, which in turn
made his teammates better as a whole. In his second year in the NBA, Bird and Celtics won the NBA
Championship against the Houston Rockets. Larry Bird would go on to win two more championships
with the Celtics. He would also win the Most Valuable Player award three times. This is what Larry
Bird said after his second Most Valuable Player award, While I was still trying to figure out how I
could improve my game for the next season, I was notified that I had been selected as the league MVP
for the second year in a row (Bird and Ryan 153). Larry Bird after being in the league for seven years
and winning two straight MVPs was still trying to find ways to get better. Bird proved that
perseverance and dedication to the sport he loved would lead to a successful and rewarding

Hellenes Research Paper
Hellenes were the early inhabitants of Greece (in our time now, Greece is still officially known as the
Hellenic Republic, after the ancient Hellenes). From the Hellenes came the term Hellenism, which
was used to describe Greek language and culture; from that, Hellenists were non Greeks who spoke
Greek and lived according to Greek ways. Thanks largely to the grand imperialistic accomplishments
of the young Greek king/warlord Alexander the Great (a photograph of a statue of him is shown
below, see also Alexander The Great In Prophecy) whose military conquests covered a vast region
from across southern Europe, through the Middle East and deep into Asia (see Ancient Empires

The kidnapping
It was a long day of school for Mauricio. He had gotten back a test from history that he flunked, and
then took another test in English that he felt he failed. Walking home in a slumber, he noticed an old,
clunky, white van with no windows. Clunk Clunk Clunk Clunk Clunk it would scream as it wobbled

he watched it pass him. Mauricio kept walking, relieved but still uneasy. He began to think of all his

The doctor walked him through his facility where he saw all the kids that had been operated on. They
would just sit in their cell empty eyed and dead inside. He knew that there would be no saving them
from whatever the doctor did to them. It looked as though they had been in their cells for weeks,
possibly even months.
As Mauricio slid his back along the cold chamber and the doctor locked the gate behind him, as he
heard the police arriving on scene. Suddenly the doctor sprang into action and ran up the stairs toward
the officers A calming reassurance passed over Mauricio and he began to think of how much he loved
his boring life at home. He missed his mom, dad, and younger sister, Ella. He thought of hugging

Susan Wiley ( Genie ) * Genie was discovered on 4th November 1970 in Los Angeles. * The thirteen
year old girl had been confined to a small room and spent most of her life often tied to a potty chair. *
The girl was given the name Genie to protect her identity and privacy. The case name is Genie. This is
not the person s real name, but when we think about what a genie is, a genie is a creature that comes
out of a bottle or whatever, but emerges into human society past childhood. We assume that it really

If she could, it would suggest that the critical period hypothesis of language development was wrong.
If she could not, it would indicate that Lenneberg s theory was correct. * Despite scoring at the level
of a one year old upon her initial assessment, Genie quickly began adding new words to her
vocabulary. She started by learning single words and eventually began putting two words together
much the way young children do. Curtiss began to feel that Genie would be fully capable of acquiring
language. * After a year of treatment, she even started putting three words together occasionally. In
children going through normal language development, this stage is followed by what is known as a
language explosion. Children rapidly acquire new words and begin putting them together in novel
ways. Unfortunately, this never happened for Genie. Her language abilities remained stuck at this
stage and she appeared unable to apply grammatical rules and use language in a meaningful way. *
Although she did learn to talk, her inability to use grammar (which Chomsky suggests is what
separates human language from animal communication) offers evidence for the critical period
hypothesis. * However there were other factors to consider in Genie s case. Not only did she miss the
critical period for learning language, she was also horrifically abused. She was malnourished and
deprived of cognitive stimulation for most of her childhood. Researchers were

Trip To Branson
Stuff That is On my mind
Well what is on my mind right now is how excited I am for the band trip. In one week as of Thursday,
March 17 I will be on my way to Branson Missouri.
Branson will be performing in the parade. We get to go to a theme park and also get to go on the duck
boats. We ll get to drive them when we are having a fancy dinner. While we listen to our jazz one play.
I am happy that Branson isn t that far away because I don t want to have to sleep on the bus again for

artisans, 60 unique shops. What I am hoping I get to explore is exploring the deepest cave in Missouri.
Until we get to be in Branson I think it will be a great time I probably will be excited to get home and

To Sum it up I m just all out excited for a new adventure to a place I have never been to. As long as I

Chromosomes Vs Dna Of Apple And Banana
Chromosomes vs DNA of an Apple and Banana
Introduction
The genetic blueprint of all living thing is Deoxyribonucleic Acid or DNA. The chromosomes are
thread like structures located inside the nucleus of plant cells and are up of protein and a single
molecule of DNA. An apple contains 34 chromosomes and a banana contains 22 chromosomes. The
purpose of this experiment was to see if the number of chromosomes effect the amount of DNA in an
apple and a banana. DNA is extracted from the apple and banana. The type of fruit was the only thing
not changed in the experiment making it the independent variable. The amount of DNA is what is
being measured, making it the dependent variable. Any living thing contains DNA, however, the skin
of the fruit must be removed as it does not contain DNA because it is mostly dead.

kneading each bag with our hands for one minute. Now, we added equal amounts of soap to each bag
and again kneaded each bag for one minute. We let the mixture stand for five minute. Next, we placed
a coffee filter on each of the two beakers. Carefully, we poured the mixture into the coffee filters being
sure not to drop any of the mixture directly into the beaker. After, we poured equal amounts of rubbing
alcohol into the mixture and let stand for five minutes. The DNA will form in each beaker as it is

Developing Causeway Bay Into A Tourist Attraction Spot
The government, in the lights of the trend of international trades, prioritized development in certain
suburban area, developing Causeway Bay into a tourist attraction spot that contain multiple fancy
shopping malls and tourists sites, setting it apart from neighbor suburban areas like Wan Chai which is
considered to be a more underdeveloped location with large elderly and poor populations. Under the
government s policy, Causeway Bay developed in a way that makes it more compatible in the global

Economic Analysis Of Unemployment And Its Impact On Gdp
Economic Analysis of Unemployment and its Impact on GDP in Developed Countries Paul
Kuechenmeister Econ 4331W August 3rd, 2014 Introduction This study examines the impact of
unemployment rates to a developed economies growth rate. This paper will be built off of the most
distinguished idea addressing the relation of economic growth and unemployment, Okun s Law .
Okun s Law that assesses the relation between unemployment and economic growth is one of linearity
. Okun s Law is the idea that there is a natural level of unemployment and when the level of
unemployment is above the natural rate, economic growth suffers. This paper aims prove correlation
between the level of unemployment and level of economic growth in developed countries. This
dissertation will utilize a linear regression model for a cross country regression analysis. The type of
unemployment used in this dissertation will be aggregate unemployment, while drilling down and
separating out structural, frictional and cyclical unemployment would be ideal in running a regression,
the data is simply not present for the subset of countries used in this analysis. This study examines 25
developed countries unemployment rate per capita and GDP growth rate per capita from 1991 to 2012.

had a total of five questions. I did this because my students are five and six years old and I did not
want to overload them with questions and stress them out. I just wanted to know who comprehended
the material and who needed extra support. Once the assessment was completed by the students I
completed an item analysis of the test. This item analysis was able to give me insight on my
assessment tool. One hundred percent of my students showed mastery of the following objectives;
students will be able to identify was to prevent the spread of illness, ... Show more content on

The data that I received from completing my item analysis is that the assessment maybe too easy and I
might have to tweak it to challenge my students thinking. I am ok with the assessment is easy for the
students because it allows for the student to show me what they know. Also the assessment tool fits
my classroom dynamic and the age that I teach. In order to improve this assessment I would increase
the difficulty of the questions. I would add a question of what is one way, when we are sick, we can
get better faster? Then the students could provide me with an example of what makes them feel better.
When it comes to my instruction of these lessons on germs the only thing I would do to change the
unit is to provide the students with a pre assessment of the material so I have a better understanding of
where they are before the unit begins. I also would not change the learning activities. The games that
we play during this unit allows the students to have fun while providing them the essential information
on germs and how fast they can

Argument Of Galileo Dialogue Summary
Galileo s Dialogue on the Two Chief World Systems uses powerful logic and simply described
concepts to overcome the Aristotelian bias of the populous and argue in favor of Copernicus
heliocentric view of the universe. Copernicus theorized that the earth, along with the other planets in
the sky, is in motion around the sun. The Aristotelian s geocentric worldview, that the earth is the
motionless center of the universe, was deeply ingrained into the minds of the people and the teachings
of the church. Galileo s argument had to be not only incisive and logical to have any sway, but it also
had to avoid offending or denying the ancient principles of thought proposed by Aristotle. He walked
this delicate line between educating the public and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In parroting the principles of Aristotle, they do not notice how much damage they do to his reputation,
how much discredit they bring him, and how much they diminish his authority instead of increasing it
(199). These men take Aristotle s good name and drag it through the mud by claiming that every one
of his sayings is absolute truth, rather than the best possible hypothesis he could have made with his
level of technology. By undermining the arguments of his opponents in this way, Galileo frees himself
up to defer to Aristotle s logical principles without invoking quotations of his conclusions.
While Galileo holds little respect for those who take Aristotle s theories at face value, he shows no
lack of respect for the great philosopher himself. Galileo applauds the fact that Aristotle s works are
examined and closely studied, and only blame(s) submitting to him in such a way that one blindly
subscribes to all his assertions and accepts them as unquestionable dictates (200). Galileo s arguments
for heliocentrism would convince any layman of their truth, but his opponents are so set in their ways
that they would be unwilling to even listen to his concepts. When an opponent relies on ancient words
and does not use ration to come to their beliefs, it is impossible to use ration to convince them
otherwise. Galileo, in his effort to contest what his opponents consider incontestable,

Essay On When Cutting Access To Health Care
Introduction The article, When Cutting Access to Health Care, There Is a Price to pay in the New York
Times and written by Eduardo Porter highlights the health crisis that is being experienced in the
United States. This has contributed to the low economies due to low productivity since the sick people
cannot work. The article states that in a research conducted by experts, the United States is ranked as
having the highest mortality rate (Porter, 2017). Conditions such as heart diseases, diabetes, and
infectious diseases also top in the list. Early deaths have become the norm in teenagers and young
adults, due to health conditions related to obesity, chronic diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, and

There has been little progress on funding research programs that aim at necessitating on preventive
measures in preventing the chronic diseases. Most are sponsored by private organizations that promote
healthcare. Therefore, there is the need for a change in the budget to promote good health of the
citizens.
Impacts on the Possible Amendment of the Constitution I believe amending the constitution so that it
meets a balanced federal budget would bring positive effects. For instance, it would help in solving
the persistent problem of the increasing deficits and federal debt. Otherwise, the future generation
would suffer the repercussions since they would have to take part in paying the debt. This could also
limit the chances of the future policymakers to engage in corrupt malpractices and irresponsible fiscal
policies which would instead ensure that there is accountability. The federal government would also
be forced to take quick actions to respond to emergencies and economic recessions (Brazier, et al.,
2017). I also believe that the opposing parties would have to comply with the passed legislation to
meet the Constitution s requirement. However, the only set back in my view would be the political
pressure that would be exerted on the lawmakers especially the opponents. They would be forced to
gimmick the budget to meet the balanced expectation. This would make them work because the law
requires them to do so and not because of their willingness in doing

Example Of Aggression Analysis
The first article I read was, Everday Aggression Takes Many Forms. There are many things that really
caught my interest in this article and I am really glad that I chose to read it. The main basis of the
article was how people intentionally hurt others daily due to their aggression and how it happens. This
really is helpful in knowing how we can stop doing these sorts of things to others and how to help
others do the same. One of the main thing to take away from this article, which was repeated, is the
definition of aggression. The definition of aggression, as stated in the article is, any behavior directed
toward the goal of harming another living being. In the article it says that aggression is often confused
with assertiveness, Openly expressing one s own needs or concerns, which is kind of the opposite of
aggression. Without knowing what aggression is defined as how can we know if we are doing it?
Aggression is intentional, at times we often get so frustrated, most commonly with the people we are
closest to, that we intentionally harm another person. It can happen in many different ways.
Aggression can be either direct or indirect. Direct aggression can be either physical or verbal. The
indirect aggression are things like relational or social aggression, going ... Show more content on

secondary source is written by Clarence Clendenen The United States and Pancho Villa: A Study in
Unconventional Diplomacy was published in 1961. This source depicts Pancho Villa and his relations
with the United States, specifically about how he would not have been able to succeed as a
revolutionary figure if it were not for the U.S government and Woodrow Wilson. The purpose the
author wrote this source is because he wanted to educate people, specifically U.S. citizens on how the
United States was seen as a superior country and poorer countries such as Mexico strived for U.S.
favor. The content this source is that Villa would not have been as successful were it not for the favor
of the U.S. This source is of value because it outlines specific details of how Pancho Villa s image was
transformed due to the U.S. This source has helped me in my investigation by giving specific
examples of how Pancho Villa used the media, however it has limited me because of the fact it takes
on the point of the U.S. perspective and does not give the perspective of the Mexicans. Overall, I used

Explain Why Can T Jesus Be A Good Man If He Is Not Divine
1. Why can t Jesus be a good man if He is not divine?
If Jesus is not divine, then He is not considered immortal, He is considered to be human and worldly.
Therefore, since He is considered to be human and worldly, then He can t live a perfect human life or
be considered a good man since He is human and not divine.
2. Why is the statement There are no absolutes self defeating?
This statement is self defeating because if there are no true right or wrongs, or black or whites, then
that is a no absolutes mentality. Therefore, you can t come to any absolute answers because everything
is gray and in between.
3. In your own words, describe Jesus claim to divinity.
Jesus often claimed to divinity by saying that He and God are one, and that if you have seen Him, then
you have seen the Father. He says that He is the way to everlasting life and that whoever believes in
Him will never die. By saying all of these things, Jesus is portraying how since God is divine and He
and God are one, then Jesus is therefore also divine.

The era known as the Industrial Revolution was a period in which fundamental changes occurred in
agriculture, textile and metal manufacture, transportation, economic policies and the social structure in
England. It is almost impossible to imagine what the world would be like if the effects of the
Industrial Revolution were swept away. Electric lights would go out. Automobiles and airplanes would
vanish. Telephones, radios, and television would disappear. Most of the stocks on the shelves of
department stores would be gone. Over the course of a century, Britain went from a largely rural,
agrarian population to a country of industrialized towns, factories, mines and workshops. Britain was,
in fact, already beginning to develop a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Great Britain grew to become the most powerful manufacturing nation, and the strongest
economically, in all of Europe. As Britain s finances grew and increased, citizens were able to move
up the social ladder in society, improving their financial and educational status. To begin with,
technological innovations, rising 3 productivity, and innovations in design and quality also made
British manufactures cheaper and more appealing in export markets. British exports to Europe and the
Americas rose dramatically and this in turn helped to pay for imports of food and raw materials which
Britain did not possess. These were vital for sustaining their industrial economy. Even though
education in the early 19th century was not compulsory and in most cases expensive, more and more
children received the opportunity to go to school. This was due to higher paying jobs becoming more
available for the average worker, meaning they could afford an education for their children.
Furthermore, another positive aspect of the revolution was that life expectancy increased drastically.
Medicine made great advancements; during the early 19th century scientists believed that disease
spontaneously grew from non living matter. In a series of experiments between 1857 and 1863, Louis
Pasteur, a French chemist and microbiologist proved this was not true but instead disease originated
from microscopic organisms. Once doctors knew

The Taiping Rebellion In China During The 19th Century
The Taiping Rebellion occurred in China during the 19th century, specifically during the time period
of 1850 1864. It is cited as being the largest and most successful rebellion that occurred during the
19th century. The two forces that were a part of this rebellion were the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,
also known as the Hakka s, and the Qing dynasty, also known as the Manchus. The main cause of the
rebellion was that Hong Xiuquan, a Hakka and the main leader of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,
received a vision that he was the brother of Jesus and was sent to overthrow the Qing dynasty. Other
causes included minority rule and economic issues, such as farmers getting overtaxed. In this paper, I

A messianic movement is a movement that emphasizes the participation of a divine savior in human
flesh in the mazway transformation (Wallace 1956). There is no doubt that the rebellion wasn t a
messianic movement. Xiuquan himself said that he was sent to get rid of the evils. He preached the
Bible to the citizens and told them to abide by a Christian lifestyle. Xiuquan created the Heavenly
Kingdom on earth (Class Notes). This was the capital and the epicenter of the rebellion. The main
focal point of the rebellion. The western world only cared about the Taiping Rebellion because it could
only benefit them after it was all said and done. Western governments only cared if the Taiping s could
have a stable, well planned government to trade with (Gray 72). If the Taiping s could do that, then
western governments would get out all religious restrictions. This was a big issue with the British
Board of Trade, they only wanted to trade with them. Also, Hakka s didn t like you and wanted you
dead if you supported the Qing dynasty. If a western country supported the Qing dynasty, the Hakka s
would want to go to war with

What Are The Sources Of The Witches In Macbeth
Shakespeare s sources for this tragedy are the accounts of king Macbeth of Scotland, Macduff, and
Duncan their origin lies in Holinshed s Chronicles (1587), a history of England, Scotland and Ireland.
The other sources that help Shakespeare put the play together, include British folktale, such
contemporary treatises on witchcraft as King James VI of Scotland s Daemonologie, Scandinavian
legends of the Norns, and ancient classical myths of the Fates: the Greek Moirai and the Roman
Parcae.
The Three Witches or Weird Sisters in Shakespeare s play Macbeth (1603 1607).

Nymphs are usually portrayed as goddesses of the forests; mountains, waters and they possess an
unlimited contract of youthful beauty, endued with knowledge of prophecies by their necromenticall
science. Other topical evidence, there is Matthew Gwinne s brief Latin pageant, Tres Sibyllae (Three
Sibyls), welcoming King James to St John s College, Oxford, on 27 August 1605, evidently drawing

Ann Oakley believes that the New Right s view of family diversity is a negative reaction against the
Feminists campaign for women s equality . Feminists believe that any type of family type can provide
a child with a loving, stable environment in which it can grow. The changing position of women in
today s society is in part responsible for the increase in family diversity. Women are now mens equals
and can become very senior in their chosen professions through hard work and dedication. Because of
this, women are less likely to want to have children early on in their careers and prevent themselves
from getting pregnant until they have established themselves with a distinguished career. This trend is
giving rise to smaller families of dual earners and thus increasing the family diversity in today s
society. Also, some of these women focus so heavily on their careers they never actually find a
partner. And so, when they feel ready to have children they either go through the IVF process or adopt
a child, again widening the diverse family types in Britain s society today. Changes in legislation have
also given rise to family diversity when the Divorce Reform Act was passed in 1969 thousands of
women freed themselves from the possession of

  • 3. Becoming A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner For as long as I can remember, I have always desired to work in the healthcare field. At an extremely young age, I wanted to become a doctor. Later on in life, I wanted to be a pharmacist. During my sophomore year of high school, I finally decided that I wanted to become a nurse. At this time, I did not know what kind of nurse I wanted to become, but I knew that nursing was my purpose. What I found to be the most captivating was the broadness of the field of nursing. Pursuing this further, I could work in any environment that I longed for. After further researching this particular field, I finally decided that I wanted to be a Neonatal nurse practitioner. Neonatal nurse practitioners serve as primary caregivers for premature babies and other newborns who require special care due to low birth rate, respitory distress, congenital heart defects or various other abnormalities and disorders (education portal). The road to becoming a Neonatal nurse practitioner is not easy. Of course, one must obtain undergraduate education before beginning neonatal studies. Community colleges offer associates degrees in nursing and four year institutions offer a bachelors. Aspiring nurse practitioners must earn a master s degree or doctor of nursing practice degree in Neonatal Nursing. These programs generally take two to three years. Training is provided by the employer after graduation during class and in the NICU through a mentorship. This training may take anywhere from six weeks to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The U.S. State Department and CIA, launched a full out invasion of Cuba. Unfortunately, the invasion failed, greatly outnumbered by Castro s troops, the invaders surrendered after less than a day of fighting. This failed invasion on Cuba to seize the Castro regime, is called the Bay of Pigs invasion. In July of 1962, Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev made a secret deal with Cuba to handle any future invasions. The benefit to the Soviet s was to place their nuclear missiles on Cuban soil which was just 90 miles from American shores. Evidence of the missiles location and its owners being Soviet was quickly discovered by the U.S.. President Kennedy released a public announcement warning the American nation about the dangerous weapons in Cuba. On the 14th of October, a U.S. U 2 aircraft captured photographs of the sites for medium and intermediate range of nuclear missiles. The pictures were shown to the White House soon after and the Cuban Missile Crisis earned its name. The President called for his advisors to help weigh the options and determine the best course of action for the U.S. that would rightfully solve the issue. Some advisors argued for an ... The CISD protocol that Mitchell described was a group process of seven distinct phases. Prior to this Mitchell used a six stage model (Mitchell, 1983). The Society working party on psychological debriefing was given the aim of evaluating the available information and opinions and producing a clear statement on the status of psychological debriefing (Mitchell, 1983) Two facts presented by Devilly and Cotton on Critical issue Cotton and Devilly, (2003): Psychological debriefing is a technique employed by social workers, clinicians, etc in which victims are encouraged to relive traumatic experiences and are warned of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was said from the studies they all failed because they did not demonstrate a clear benefit of debriefing (McNally et al., 2003), with intervention groups and control groups reporting equivalent posttraumatic symptoms. Psychological debriefing responded to these results by claiming there is only one component of a comprehensive approach to crisis management and it is meaningless to evaluate the effectiveness of this one component as a singular intervention strategy (McNally et al., 2003). The heart of this debate is the issue of whether psychological debriefing might be a waste of resources (Brewin, 2001; McNally, 2004). Mitchell has been shown to be credible because of the seven steps he believes to be workable. In 1983, he introduced Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). The model he developed was designed to prevent and manage the horror resulting from traumatic stress, and reduce the casualties among emergency service personnel. Mitchell model poses the below seven unique phases, which are integrated with stress education and information throughout the process. Introductory phase (rules and process explained). Fact phase (what they saw, heard, smelled, touched and did). Thought phase (first thoughts). Feeling phase (emotional reaction). Assessment phase (physical or psychological symptoms). From the Hellenes came the term Hellenism, which was used to describe Greek language and culture; from that, Hellenists were non Greeks who spoke Greek and lived according to Greek ways. The Aristotelian s geocentric worldview, that the earth is the motionless center of the universe, was deeply ingrained into the minds of the people and the teachings of the church. In parroting the principles of Aristotle, they do not notice how much damage they do to his reputation, how much discredit they bring him, and how much they diminish his authority instead of increasing it (199). These men take Aristotle s good name and drag it through the mud by claiming that every one of his sayings is absolute truth, rather than the best possible hypothesis he could have made with his level of technology. By undermining the arguments of his opponents in this way, Galileo frees himself up to defer to Aristotle s logical principles without invoking quotations of his conclusions. While Galileo holds little respect for those who take Aristotle s theories at face value, he shows no lack of respect for the great philosopher himself. Galileo applauds the fact that Aristotle s works are examined and closely studied, and only blame(s) submitting to him in such a way that one blindly subscribes to all his assertions and accepts them as unquestionable dictates (200). Impacts on the Possible Amendment of the Constitution I believe amending the constitution so that it meets a balanced federal budget would bring positive effects. For instance, it would help in solving the persistent problem of the increasing deficits and federal debt. Otherwise, the future generation would suffer the repercussions since they would have to take part in paying the debt. This could also limit the chances of the future policymakers to engage in corrupt malpractices and irresponsible fiscal policies which would instead ensure that there is accountability. The main basis of the article was how people intentionally hurt others daily due to their aggression and how it happens. Aggression is intentional, at times we often get so frustrated, most commonly with the people we are closest to, that we intentionally harm another person. It can happen in many different ways. Why is the statement There are no absolutes self defeating? This statement is self defeating because if there are no true right or wrongs, or black or whites, then that is a no absolutes mentality. Therefore, you can t come to any absolute answers because everything is gray and in between. 3. In your own words, describe Jesus claim to divinity. Jesus often claimed to divinity by saying that He and God are one, and that if you have seen Him, then you have seen the Father. He says that He is the way to everlasting life and that whoever believes in Him will never die. By saying all of these things, Jesus is portraying how since God is divine and He and God are one, then Jesus is therefore also divine. 4. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The era known as the Industrial Revolution was a period in which fundamental changes occurred in agriculture, textile and metal manufacture, transportation, economic policies and the social structure in England. It is almost impossible to imagine what the world would be like if the effects of the Industrial Revolution were swept away. Electric lights would go out. Automobiles and airplanes would vanish. Telephones, radios, and television would disappear. Most of the stocks on the shelves of department stores would be gone. Over the course of a century, Britain went from a largely rural, agrarian population to a country of industrialized towns, factories, mines and workshops. Great Britain grew to become the most powerful manufacturing nation, and the strongest economically, in all of Europe. As Britain s finances grew and increased, citizens were able to move up the social ladder in society, improving their financial and educational status. To begin with, technological innovations, rising 3 productivity, and innovations in design and quality also made British manufactures cheaper and more appealing in export markets. British exports to Europe and the Americas rose dramatically and this in turn helped to pay for imports of food and raw materials which Britain did not possess. These were vital for sustaining their industrial economy. Even though education in the early 19th century was not compulsory and in most cases expensive, more and more children received the opportunity to go to school. This was due to higher paying jobs becoming more available for the average worker, meaning they could afford an education for their children. Furthermore, another positive aspect of the revolution was that life expectancy increased drastically. Medicine made great advancements; during the early 19th century scientists believed that disease spontaneously grew from non living matter. In a series of experiments between 1857 and 1863, Louis Pasteur, a French chemist and microbiologist proved this was not true but instead disease originated from microscopic organisms. The two forces that were a part of this rebellion were the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, also known as the Hakka s, and the Qing dynasty, also known as the Manchus. The main cause of the rebellion was that Hong Xiuquan, a Hakka and the main leader of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, received a vision that he was the brother of Jesus and was sent to overthrow the Qing dynasty. There is no doubt that the rebellion wasn t a messianic movement. Xiuquan himself said that he was sent to get rid of the evils. He preached the Bible to the citizens and told them to abide by a Christian lifestyle. Xiuquan created the Heavenly Kingdom on earth (Class Notes). This was the capital and the epicenter of the rebellion. The main focal point of the rebellion. The western world only cared about the Taiping Rebellion because it could only benefit them after it was all said and done. Western governments only cared if the Taiping s could have a stable, well planned government to trade with (Gray 72). If the Taiping s could do that, then western governments would get out all religious restrictions. This was a big issue with the British Board of Trade, they only wanted to trade with them. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ann Oakley believes that the New Right s view of family diversity is a negative reaction against the Feminists campaign for women s equality . Feminists believe that any type of family type can provide a child with a loving, stable environment in which it can grow. The changing position of women in today s society is in part responsible for the increase in family diversity. Women are now mens equals and can become very senior in their chosen professions through hard work and dedication. Because of this, women are less likely to want to have children early on in their careers and prevent themselves from getting pregnant until they have established themselves with a distinguished career. This trend is giving rise to smaller families of dual earners and thus increasing the family diversity in today s society. Also, some of these women focus so heavily on their careers they never actually find a partner. And so, when they feel ready to have children they either go through the IVF process or adopt a child, again widening the diverse family types in Britain s society today. Changes in legislation have also given rise to family diversity when the Divorce Reform Act was passed in 1969 thousands of women freed themselves from the possession of ...
