The Software Development Field Of Computer Science
Currently, I am pursuing a career in the software development field of computer science. In this
field, I will mostly be creating programs and software to be installed or run on computers or
other machines. Of course like any professional career, ethical issues can appear, but the issues
found in the tech industry are not always found in the office area. Many of the issues developers
face are outside of the office area and out in the field. The type of issues I am addressing is
computercrimes, computer failures, protection and theft of software, and the corruption of privacy
and company property. Developers face the challenge of protecting their programs from being
misused and making sure that the programs are safe for users. Two cases that show these types of
dilemmas are the Therac 25case and the infamous Target hack of 2013. The Therac 25 case will
show what happens when a product and its software are not properly constructed, while the Target
Hack case will show an example of the misuse of software that lead to millions of credit cards
stolen.
It is not uncommon for a company to want to shell out their newest and latest machine as quick
as possible, but along with this comes the temptations to cut corners and possibly make mistakes.

Cuban politics has long been defined by foreign relations. One of the charges of the revolutionary
leaders Fidel Castro and Che Guevara against Fulgencio Batista was his support from the United
States of America. Batista was part of a military coup in 1933, and became President himself by
election in 1940. His party lost the next election in 1944 after which he lived in the U.S., gaining
allies. On his return to Cubain 1952 he led a second coup to end an election which he was losing.
His government was quickly recognized by the U.S., giving him legitimacy, which he turned into

disastrous results. The Bay of Pigs was a disaster for all sides. The U.S., which failed to provide
promised air support, lost the trust of the Cuban exile community and was embarrassed
internationally. The Cuban government naturally responded by strengthening economic and
military ties with the U.S.S.R.. Second is Operation Mongoose along with other covert C.I.A.
programs to assassinate Fidel Castro and destabilize the Cuban government. Like the Bay of Pigs,
these programs were a complete disaster. At least eight assassination attempts on Fidel Castro,
including poisonous cigars, failed only strengthening Fidel s hold on power and his aura of
invincibility. Combined with the Bay of Pigs, Operation Condor fostered a somewhat justified
