##ne Nannoflakes And The Properties Of Vertical Graphene...
Since the last two decades, vertical graphene nanosheets (VGNs), sometimes called carbon nanowalls
or graphene nanoflakes, have captured significant attention as envisioned materials for supercapacitors
(SCs), fuel cells, field emission, magnetic device applications and so on due to their intriguing
properties. ( removed HTML ) ( removed HTML ) 1 4 ( removed HTML ) ( removed HTML ) VGNs

theoretical modelling demonstrates that VGNs have high charge storage capability compared to

How Powerful The Kill App Is The Extremely Most Successful...
At the beginning, I would like to give some examples of competing on analytics. We all know the how
powerful the kill app is (the extremely most successful and popular software). Over the years,
groundbreaking systems from companies such as Otis Elevator (predictive maintenance), American
Airlines ( electronic reservations), and American Hospital supply (online ordering) have dramatically
risen their creators revenues and reputations by using these heralded and coveted applications. These
applications amassed and applied date in ways that optimized operations and upended customer
expectations to unprecedented degrees. Organizations such as Harrah s, Amazon, Capital one and
Boston Red Sox have dominated their filed by deploying ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In this paper, the competing on analytics of Samsung Electronics Company is discussed. Samsung
electronics Co, Ltd is a multinational electronics company in South Korean, the company is
headquartered in Suwon, South Korean. It is the flagship subsidiary of the Samsung group and most of
profits are earned by Samsung Electronics Company, it accounted for 70% of the group s revenue in
2012. Today Samsung electronics has been the largest information technology company by revenue
since 2009. The company has sales networks and assembly plants in 80 countries and has around
37000 employees.
Samsung has long been one of the largest manufacturers of electronics components in the world. The
main electronic components include semiconductors, flash memory, chips, hard drive devices, and
lithium ion batteries. Apple, Sony, HTC and Nokia are the main clients for the components. [3]
Samsung s position and ability on analytics
According to research, the company sold 14 product categories over 200 countries in a total of 476
category country combinations. The company struggled to allocate marketing resources effectively to
deal with high complexity. It can collect data integrally and systematically with a global level analysis.
Besides, it has standardized definitions of data, collection procedures and reporting conventions

Using Computers And Software Programs
The creation of new and advance technology is playing a significant role in the job functions of police
officers, arming them with tools that have the ability to make them more knowledgeable and perform
more effectively. The use of computers and software programs by law enforcement personnel has a
variety of advantages and disadvantages in relation to criminal investigation and law enforcement. The
use of computers and software programs have become beneficial tools for the criminal enterprise and
for the prosecution in a criminal case.
Technology has enabled law enforcement officers to launch queries about an individual from a variety
of databases (Roberts, 2011). The development of the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification
System (IAFIS) has empowered law enforcement with the ability to easily identify suspects during a
criminal investigation and access criminal histories, while in the field and solve cases faster (Roberts,
2011). The Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System enable law enforcement officers to
decrease the number of cold or unsolved criminal cases, increase communication between multiple
agencies, and match past unsolved crimes (The Federal Bureau of Investigation [FBI], n.d.). Overall,
the IAFIS has made it possible for law enforcement to apprehend criminals, and solve and prevent
crimes (FBI, n.d.). The Next Generation Identification Program (NGI) has been developed to allow
law enforcement to respond faster with more

The Law And The Judgement Of God
What is the law? Does it provide the necessary soteriological provision for those that uphold it over
the privileges found in faith? The Apostle Paul, who at one time was a staunch supporter of this view
of the law before his conversion now seeks to show the truth of what the Mosaic Law has done and
what its functions are in the age of the Messiah. Paul s argument of justification by faith is stacked
against the legalistic points of the traditions of the Mosaic Law and what it is that provides peace with
God. This paper will look at the components of Paul s view surrounding the law and the judgement of
God, the freedom from the law given through Christ, and the responsibility blessings of Christian
freedom from the law provide by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned
under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous
before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the
law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have
the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also
bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when,
according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus. (Romans 2:12 16) The
Inclusivity of the Law Paul establishes the view that will included the law and the judgement under it
as an all inclusive understanding. He begins this section with the division of judgement the law itself
has brought: those that sin without the law and those that sin under the law (v. 12). Paul is emphatic to
his readers that those that have sinned without the law will be judged without the law. His reference to
the law is that of the law established under the Mosaic covenant. His early narrative on the condition
of the God s natural revelation to man places those that are not privy to the Mosaic Law under
judgement because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them
(1:19). Paul specifically calls out that God s

Brazilian Culture Research Paper
I am half Brazilian and half Japanese. My grandmother immigrated to Brazil when she was three years
old. There she met my grandfather, whom was also Japanese, and started her family. I was born in
Brazil in 1989, and I lived there until I was eleven. In 2000, my mother decided to move to Japan
because of its exceeding economy. When I first arrived in Japan, I was in shock! I had no idea that a
world so different from the one I ve known even existed. Brazilians and Japanese are the complete
opposite. The Brazilian culture is individualistic, and Brazilians tend to value individualism. They all
want to be unique in a certain way; no Brazilian wants to be average or just like everybody else.
Japanese culture, on the other hand, is collectivistic, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They tend to arrive later than they are supposed to. Even services such as trains or TV programs tend
to be delayed. Japanese, on the other hand, are extremely punctual. If they say eight clock, it s eight o
clock; not 7:59; not 8:01. Shops, buses, trains; all the services follow the exact time they are supposed
to. And the list goes on and on... People often ask me Are you more Brazilian or more Japanese? My
answer is: neither. I think that when someone lives at a different country from their own, it changes
them, and they become something else. You still maintain some aspects of the first country that you
lived in, but you also acquire some aspects of the second country. You don t fully become the second
race nor you can go back to be what you were before, leaving you at an intermediate state. I am
neither Brazilian nor Japanese, I am another race. When I was living in Brazil as a child, I identified
myself as Brazilian. My personality was typical of a Brazilian girl. But those thirteen years that I lived
in Japan affected me and I acquired some Japanese characteristics. I am easy going, friendly, and
passionate; I express my feelings and emotions freely; and I know when to say no as a Brazilian. But I
am also punctual; I pay attention to details; and I try not to disturb my neighbors as a Japanese would

Taking a Look at Secular Humanism
All systems of thought and each worldview have a notion of God. Secular humanism is defined as a
belief system where humanity is the sovereign of all beings, and where reality and information rests in
science and reason. The secular humanistic worldview started as a substitute among religions.
Humanism is not a religious belief system in itself, while secular means not religious. A religion is any
system of belief that informs an individual s worldview. The secular humanistic worldview has a
distinctive belief on many disciplines such as theology, ethics, and evolution among others. Thus, the
thesis of this paper is; the secular humanism worldview is religious, as secular humanists uphold
beliefs and values that hold them with dedication. The purpose of this research paper is to discuss
whether the secular humanistic worldview is indeed religious and how it has influenced the American
Culture. Secular humanism is nontheistic and religious because it directs itself towards beliefs and
practices that are in active opposition to customary theism. According to the Humanistic Manifestos I
and II, secular humanism is a religious and philosophical moral point of view (House 381).
The founders of the secular humanistic worldview considered it a religion. The ideals of the
movement can be traced to ancient philosophers, scientists and poets of classical Rome and Greece
and to some extent the Chinese Confucian society, Carvaka movements of India and other ancient

Daniel has much written in it about prophecy that correlates with the End Times prophecy in the book

the Lord my God ...the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, ...informed me,

Summary Of First Missionary Journey
First Missionary Journey
The book of Acts describes how Paul was ministering in Antioch with Barnabas, when he was directed
by the Holy Spirit to be released from his Church duties. The Holy Spirit had another assignment for
Paul, and that was to go and take the Gospel more widely. Some believe that this notion came from the
Holy Spirit through fasting and prayer. Paul began his first missionary in the town of Antioch.
Throughout Paul s first missionary journey he was accompanied by Barnabas and Barnabas cousin
John Mark.
God gave Paul a mission to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. They traveled from city to city
spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, the message was not always being received. It is really
no confirmed certainty on why John Mark eventually left Paul and Barnabas to return to Jerusalem.
The Jews went on record as being in opposition to the Gospel, but Paul kept preaching the Gospel to
the Gentiles. Paul saw that the Gentiles were very receptive to the Gospel.
Although many Gentiles accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ, there were Jews that continued to
display their anger towards the Gospel. There were some Jews that came and stirred up the crowd at
Lystra against Paul and Barnabas. This crowd also stoned and left Paul for dead, but Paul did not
allow that to stop him from preaching the Gospel to the city of Lystra. Lystra and Derbe proved to be
fruitful areas to preach the Gospel, but not without their difficulties. One convert at Lystra on this

The Face Of The Menace In Pinter s The Room
Now, cleaning the room in total darkness is absurd as one can t see the dirt around. The real purpose of
using the vacuum cleaner is to scare Davies, as he is unaware that the sudden noise is actually the hum
of the Electrolux and that the object that moved along with him is the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner
operated by Mick. In both the scenes it is observed that darkness is used as a cover to put the evil
plans of the menacing elements into action. The face of the menace is veiled in the darkness and as
such its effect on its victims is more intensified and lasting in comparison to the menace that can be
seen in broad daylight. f) Violent/aggressive behavior of characters: In Pinter s plays, menace is also
enhanced by the violent and aggressive behavior of the characters. Towards the end of the play The
Room Bert becomes very violent and assaults Riley till he dies. This sudden violent behavior of Bert
indicates that menace is prevalent everywhere. Nobody can bar the menace from entering his/her room
as menace is both physical and abstract in form. The seemingly quiet Bert had been nurturing an
intangible menace of jealousy and racial discrimination in his mind for long which found its release at
the slightest provocation i.e. the sight of the negro, Riley. After Riley s death, Rose becomes blind and
it is clear that the relationship between Bert and Rose will no longer remain as it used to be in the past.
Likewise, in the play The Birthday Party the erratic and

The Generation X And Generation Y
In this study, the most interesting insight I read that the article distinguishes two generations,
generation X and generation Y, they have varied on expectation of life. Additionally, the employer
should realize to diversities of employee personality in the organization, which might contribute to
making a conflict in teamwork such as having the different attitude, not understanding in other
characteristics, confident of subconscious and so on. The generation X, who is composed of the parent
of generation Y (born between 1965 and 1981), this generation has an optimistic aspect, and also
prefer having life balances with working hard. In contrast, the generation Y (born between 1982 and
2000), the generation Y (born between 1982 and 2000), who grew up with enslavement by technology
and have more independent (Susaeta et al. 2013). So, I have comprehended the key which might
helpful to make deduction of working in the future.
However, I think the personal behavior depends on education developmental, nation cultural and the
environment where is they grew up, especially the influence of family affects to new generation
thinking. As can be seen in the study of the authors of attitude to work shows that the means for
attitudes to work both for individuals in generation X and Y are slightly different, it might because of
the nation cultural. For example , Thai cultural is always taught young people that they should respect

What Are The Key Objectives Of Broadcasting Service
Broadcasting Service Proclamation No. 533/2007
b. Key Objectives of the Measure
It was necessary to revise the existing law on broadcasting services to take into account that
broadcasting service plays a significant role in the political, economic and social development of the
country by providing information, education and entertainment programs to the public. Moreover,
broadcasting plays a major role in exercising the basic constitutional rights such as freedom of
expression, access to information and the right to elect and be elected. It is then essential to ensure
proper and fair utilisation of the limited radio wave wealth of the country. It seems ad well essential to
clearly define the rights and obligations of persons who undertake broadcasting service.

Compare And Contrast Plague Of Athens And The Plague
The Plague of Athens, taking place in 429 B.C.E., is the first mass killing plague known to historians
today. However, this doesn t mean that it wasn t as dangerous as plagues later on in history. In total
100,000 people died which is equivalent to more than one third of the Greece population. In the book
The Plague , the city of Oran is overrun by a deadly disease. In both the Plague of Athens and the
novel The Plague by Albert Camus, similarities occurred such as the diffusion of the disease, the
symptoms and causes, and the social change. In both plagues, rats played a big part in spreading the
disease. In the two separate plagues rats were one of the known reasons for the start of the plague. As
stated in an article by the New World Encyclopedia, In addition, crowding caused by the influx of
refugees into the city led to inadequate food and water supplies and an increase in insects, lice, rats,
and waste. ( Plague of Athens ). Not only were the rats spreading the disease to fellow rodents, but
they spread it to people also. This was the main reason why both plagues spread so fast. In the novel,
the rats were found before the main disease started. The author wrote, He saw a big rat coming toward
him from the dark end of the passage. It moved uncertainly, and its fur was sopping wet. The animal
stopped and seemed to be trying to get its balance, moved forward again towards the doctor, halted
again, then spun around on itself with a little squeal and fell on its

AT T Sustainability Reporting Paper
Planning for Adoption of Sustainability Reporting AT T is already doing well, in the way of
sustainable business practices. In the 2014 annual report, various sustainable community, technology,
and environmental advances were mentioned. It appears that AT T is on its way to sustainable
reporting already. There are multiple functional changes that can occur in order for AT T to improve
their sustainability. Global reporting lists environmental, social, and economic impacts as the key
aspects to identify in sustainability reporting. AT T also should list the ways in which its technology is
helping sustainable living because they are a technology based company; therefore, appealing to their
stakeholders and illustrating how their technological advances help the world.

This division is attractive to me because it was developed to better understand the development of

Counseling Association has various divisions/organizations that are very informative and beneficial
for counselor or students pursuing a counseling career. There are some interesting facts about these
divisions I researched. Becoming a member of ACA and a division are extremely beneficial. Even
though some counselors are viewed as though they have no issues whether financially or mentally, all
of these benefits prove this view wrong. Members of ACA are given great discounts on everyday life
needs such as different insurances. There are other ways to save once you become a member. I found
this to be intriguing because it shows that counselors need help as well. Other benefits such as
continued education, networking, and activities for advocating certain divisions of ACA are available.

would like to learn the skills needed to help people with their life and mental health issues. While
attending the University of Saint Joseph during my undergraduate years I took various courses that
have led me to making my decision. The courses I took focused on business, biology, social work, and
psychology. After graduation I decided to take a year off and gain work experience in customer
service and health care. I wanted to experience working with the people in my community. I was hired
as a pharmacy technician at a Walgreens in Vernon. Working as a pharmacy technician has been a very
rewarding experience for me and I learned a lot about people and their unique needs. I also learned
about patient care and how to be pacient and understanding under stressful situations.

The Motive For Metaphor By John Frye
In the first chapter of the book, The Motive for Metaphor , Frye starts off the book by using a vivid
scene of an uninhabited island to illustrate three levels of the human mind and the language for each
of them and further explore the use of imagination in literature. Frye then discusses the distinction
between the arts and the sciences as science begins with the world we have to live in, accepting its
data and trying to explain its laws (p23) while art begins with the world we construct, not the world
we see .(p23) By shedding light on the fundamental difference, Frye argues that literature begins in the
imaginative world and stresses his point of an unprogressive literature world even though imagination
has no limits.
Secondly, in The Singing School , Frye argues that literature itself, especially poetry, has a pedigree
that provides writers with a form of convention because Literature can derive its forms only from
itself (p. 42). Frye denies the idea that every literature piece is unique and totally unrelated to the
previous one by forcefully argues that A writer s desire to write can only have come from previous
experience of literature , and he ll start by imitating whatever he s read. (p40) Meanwhile, even ...

The Role Of Governments And Unions Affected The Efficiency...
How has the changing roles of governments and unions affected the efficiency and equity of labour
market outcomes over the past 10 years?
Australian Labour Market
We refer to labour market outcomes as the performance of the labour market in reference to wage and
employments levels and also the efficiency of labour allocation within the economy. Some wage
outcomes include wage rates, distribution of wages and salaries, fringe benefits, loadings, bonuses and
the relationship of these areas to occupation, gender, age, income groups and cultural background.
Non wage outcomes references to the nature of employment that is affected by the composition of
working i.e. full time, part time, casual and the aggregate levels of employment and unemployment.
Due to the dynamic nature of the Australian labour market, we are able to respond to technological,
economic, demographic and social changes that affect demand and supply of labour, at both a
macroeconomic and microeconomic level. However the Australian labour market is not perfectly
competitive as change in the demand and supply of labour through wage and employment levels in the
many industries and occupations are not always responded perfectly. Thus, there are labour market
institutions that intervene within the labour market to create changes and the two main institutions
addressed in this report are the unions and the government.

The Is A Victim Of Discrimination And Oppression
Mereana is identified as a victim of discrimination and oppression as a result of her family being
deeply religious and she is a committed Christian. As being from a Christian family her culture is
strictly against homosexuality. Mereana is concerned because her family do not have the wish to talk
about her woman partner even though she loves her more than anything else in the world. Reasoning
this is she has not formally come out to the family. From my perspective the idea of being
marginalised has already been set by the family. Mereana is basically trying to articulate she only
wants acceptance, and she wants her family to appreciate her and her woman partner with open loving
arms, and especially to approve of who they are as a person regardless of their sexual orientation. It
seen like Mereana wants homosexuality to be seen as just another alternative lifestyle. But her culture,
the Bible does not support homosexuality, nor does it support homosexual marriage. Homosexual
marriage is perceived as condemned. Marriage is conceived as a legal union only between a man and a
woman. This legislation portrays as a declaration about how the heterosexual family is appraised and
how all other family forms are not. Mereana s uncle was estranged from the whanau because of this
sexual orientation. This caused the whanau to dissociation with the uncle. It said to be, he had sinned

Demographic Trends Of The Demographic Transition Model
The demographic transition model shows historical population trends of two demographic
characteristics such as birth rate and death rate. (Grover, D. 2014). In 1929 a demographic observer
named Warren Thompson decided to make a chart that showed transitions in death and birth rates
changed in an industrialized society of the last two hundred years. (Montgomery, K. 2015). The
demographic model shows if population increased or decreased in all countries due to their economy
stability. If there were countries with high death and birth rate, what the factors that contributed to the
high or low rates such as not enough food, or what diseases people were getting to make those rates
increase. There are four phases of demographic transition. Stage 1 is known as the Pre transition stage.
This is characterized by birth rates, and high fluctuating death rates. Stage 2 is known as the Early
Transition stage. During this stage rate begins to fall, while the birth rates remain high, and the
population begins to grow. Stage 3 is known as the Late Transition stage. In this stage birth rate starts
to decline, and the population growth begins to decline. Stage 4 is known as the Post Transition stage.

Astrology Vs Astronomy Essay
Astronomy versus Astrology
Astronomy is a science that studies everything outside of the earth s atmosphere, such as planets, stars,
asteroids, galaxies; and the properties and relationships of those spiritual bodies. Astronomers base
their studies on research and observation. Astrology, on the other hand, is the belief that the
positioning of the stars and planets affect the way events occur on earth. If you re interested in the
solar system and the planets, other celestial objects like asteroids and comets, other galaxies and the
rest of the universe, what makes up space, and the possibility of alien life or space travel, astronomy is
the field you re considering. Astronomy is a natural science that studies celestial objects and
phenomena. It applies mathematics, physics, and chemistry, in an effort to explain the origin of those
objects and phenomena and their evolution. Objects of interest include planets, moons, stars, galaxies,
and comets; while the phenomena include supernova explosions, gamma ray bursts, and cosmic
microwave background radiation. More generally, all astronomical phenomena that originate outside
Earth s atmosphere are within the purview of astronomy. A related but distinct subject, physical
cosmology, is concerned with the study of the Universe as a whole.
Astronomy is the oldest of the natural sciences. The early civilizations in recorded history, such as the
Babylonians, Greeks, Indians, Egyptians, Nubians, Iranians, Chinese, and Maya performed

Light And Colour In The Starry Night
Light and Colour Vincent Van Gogh s Starry Night
The Starry Night is an oil on canvas painting by the Dutch post impressionist painter Vincent van
Gogh. Painted in June, 1889, it depicts the view (with the notable addition of an idealized village)
from the east facing window of his asylum room at Saint Rémy de Provence, just before sunrise. The
dominating colour palette in the painting is dark blue and black hues oppose the bright whites and the
yellows in the sky. The size of the painting is 29 in. by 36 ¼ in. The current location of the painting is
in the galleries of Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

He attempts to understand in great detail about the stars. As he wrote to his sister Willemien van Gogh
from Arles,
It often seems to me that the night is even more richly coloured than the day, coloured with the most

have a pink, green, forget me not blue glow. And without labouring the point, it s clear to paint a starry
sky it s not nearly enough to put white spots on blue black. (678, 14 September 1888)
Van Gogh discovered new colours everywhere, especially at night. Peripatetically, this show explores
his special relationship with darkness. It provides a view of the tenderness, urgency and brilliance at

Causes Of The French And Indian War Essay
An Examination of the French and Indian Wars
I.Causes
The initial causes of the French and Indian War are based on the increasing colonization of French and
English settlements throughout the Ohio River Valley area. In the 1750s, British colonists were slowly
expanding territorial settlements into the Ohio River Valley from Virginia. In this manner, the English
were aggressively establishing more land claims and rights for the British government. More so, the
English were cooperating with the local Native American tribes in terms of sharing land rights or
respecting the traditions of the indigenous peoples, which often involved military supports and
resources from the Iroquois tribe. In contrast to this colonial development, the French were also
claiming land rights for settlements in the Ohio River Valley by moving east and southwards from the
Great Lakes and French colonial territories in New France. The French also cooperated with local
indigenous peoples, such as the Huron, to fight the British during this historical period. The Huron
people had a long tradition of trade, and other forms of economic and military cooperation to support
this alliance:
The link that joined most of Canada s Indian nations to the French was not a common faith, but a
common interest in the fur trade. On the even of the French and Indian War, The French government
maintained some forty four fortified Indian trading posts, some protected by a small garrison (Cave
46).
These aspects of colonial were a major part of the French alliance with the Huron, but it was also part
of agreements that the British made with the Iroquois during the 1740s and 1750s. However, the

In Frida Kahlo s painting My Grandparents, My Parents and Me, Kahlo shows what it is like for a
family in the Mexican culture. Kahlo s painting conveys the preconceived notions of being conscious
of your roles in the family, for instance, the painting displays that the woman is supposed to marry,
have a child, raise the child and have the family of her own. It also displays the family lineage and
what a woman or man aspires to be in life. Currently Sandra Cisneros resides in San Antonio in a
purple house and she describes herself as nobody s mother and nobody s wife. Both Frida Kahlo s and
Cynthia Y. Hernandez s works convey the idea of having one s culture limit one s freedom and
individuality. Cisneros and Esperanza are both victims of this idea and realize that the only way to live
one s life freely is to defy the roles and limitations created by one s culture. Works Cited Cisneros,

One Punch Man
Being a comic book and manga reader, I always fell in love with the plot, read the words and skim
through the drawings without stopping to think about the symbolism of the drawings on the pages.
While reading McCloud s Understanding Comics and observing Molly Bang s theories on shapes and
lines, my mind has opened a broader understanding of what is right in front of me, when I m reading a
manga or a comic book. To begin with, in chapter four, McCloud talks about how some artists use
lines, multiple images or streaking to show motion. In the manga One Punch Man the artist Yusuke
Murata shows Saitama s movement for the serious hop attack with streaking and multiple images, to
show the different ways Saitama is approaching his opponent. Also, you can imply Molly Bang s
theory on diagonal shapes that show tension or motion in which Yusuke uses both (Look at picture
#1). You can see how under Saitama there are also pointy edges that go diagonally so one can feel
threatened as Molly Bang said. Also you can clearly see the many silhouettes of Saitama to show his
special attack much clearer.
Second, Molly Bang and Scott McCloud both touch base with color. How the darker color is
associated with evil like in this picture (Look at picture #2). You can see the dark circles under his
eyes and how the gang ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

an essential part in satisfying our constant quest for humor. The show focuses on real life situations

Jerry s contribution to the fearsome four is as important as the peanut butter in a peanut butter and

sensible and laid back audience because they can relate. However, the complete opposite types swoon
over him because they envy the qualities that they would like to possess. I would have to say that Jerry
is mostly responsible for the shows immediate fame and without him Seinfeld just wouldn t be

irresistibly hilarious. He pulls off the sympathetic and charming sort while other times he s purely
devious and radical. He plays Jerry s sidekick and together they foolishly run around New York City

The Negro s Place in American Life at the Present Day by T. Thomas Fortune were written during the
end of the nineteenth century when African Americans were faced with great challenges on a range of
different levels. These documents are very like one another considering they are all addressing the

Thomas Fortune has more of gradualism approach to it. He is more focused on getting the attention
for the white audience and get the respect from them. Fortune asks, What is the Negro s place in
American life at the present day? (2). He says that the answer depends on the point of view of the
person and I greatly agree with that statement because I could believe completely differently from the
person sitting directly beside me on the situation. Sadly, blacks and whites were not always treated the
same way and still aren t always treated in the same ways today either. Fortune states, There can be no
healthy growth in the life of race or a nation without a self reliant spirit animating the whole body...
(4). I feel like this statement is something that is important in this speech. It touches on how there is
nothing healthy about not having equal rights between whites and blacks. Few blacks can trace back
their ancestors as easily as it for whites, because they don t have an ancestry. This made it very hard
on them because, unlike the whites, they would have had nothing to fall back on. Whites just had it a
lot easier and honestly still do. People believe that there isn t any more racism, but it s very hard for
me to believe that after so many years of this occurring for it to just completely stop. In my opinion,
giving blacks the rights that they deserve will make things differently because

The history of more than fifty million Latinos in the United States is your history too, Suarez stated in
his book. His argument was that no matter how you see it, the Latin culture is part of your life in the
US no matter what ethnicity you are. He wrote this book to let his readers learn and know about the
Latino history in the territories, where it is now considered as California, New Mexico, Arizona, and
Texas. Suarez wants his readers to know that the Spanish culture has been in those areas ever since the
people of Mexico City traveled North in search for gold. He reveals this by stating that the first
language heard in those territories was Spanish and the earliest land titles were granted to Spanish
families (Suarez). Some Americans may not believe the fact about Spain owning part of the land;
however, there is evidence that supports that fact. There are literally signs around California, Texas,

Why Should Chewing Gum Be Allowed In School
Let me ask you a question. If students chew gum in school, then they obviously like it. Then why do
schools ban chewing gum? Gum is banned in most schools in the world. There are some teachers that
allow the chewing of gum only if it doesn t disturb the class and if it doesn t end up under tables. If
you think about it, the only reason students put gum under the table is because they don t want to be
caught throwing it away. If gum was allowed, students wouldn t worry about getting caught and they
would throw their gum away in the trash.
Another reason gum should be allowed in school is because gum makes your heart pump more blood

allowed in class is because studies show that peppermint flavoured gum helps the brain to not make
stupid and careless mistakes. That means it would be hard to make a stupid mistake in a test if we are
chewing peppermint flavoured gum. Sometimes students do make stupid mistakes on tests. For
example, missing a page, not reading the question properly, etc. Chewing peppermint flavoured gum
could stop that and that would improve students grades and that would make the school and the
students more successful.
In addition, gum should be allowed in school for its ability to improve the memory of students. It does
this by inserting insulin into your bloodstream. Chewing gum can improve your memory by 40%. It
can also help students memorize all the facts that they learn in school and then help them remember
everything when there is a test. students would improve their grades by a lot. Later on in life, the

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has put a lid on the progress of the 671 2015 legislation that was

Las Vegas, The Original City Of Sin Essay
Las Vegas, the original City of Sin (Bull 2). Marketing campaigns flaunt the idea what happens in
Vegas, stays in Vegas (Bull 4). Now known for its attitude of permissiveness, especially regarding
sexual behavior, Las Vegas has grown tremendously from it s humble beginnings as a simple rail stop
between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City (Bull 2). In 1911, with a population of just over 2,000, Las
Vegas was incorporated and its first mayor elected. Fast forward twenty years, and the population has
almost quadrupled and gambling is legalized. Reminiscent of a perfect storm, the setting was ripe for
exploitation: Las Vegas was distanced from other towns or cities, the railroad allowed people to easily
travel, and legalized gambling opened up avenues for debasement. With it s remote location and
legalized gambling, it was inevitable that big time mobsters would come onto the scene. Additionally,
casinos were being erected, encouraging guests to spend money and drink liquor, thus leading to
uninhibited behavior. Furthermore, by providing workers in the oldest profession there would be yet
another way to line the pockets of the underworld figures who created the foundation for the Vegas of
today. Russell W. Belk has argued, the idea that Las Vegas provides forbidden fruit and guilty
pleasures;a vital part of the city s appeal (Bull 4). According to Hal Rothman, Las Vegas has a widely
accepted role as a place where generations of Americans have been allowed to self indulge

The Cross Cultural Communication Issues
On the whole, this paper will identify four other major possible cross cultural issues as analysed
below.
First, the cross cultural communication issue may arise and there are mainly 3 factors contributing to
the communication barriers in such case.
For starters, the factor of culture difference (Moslehpour et al. 2016) present itself. As given in the
case study, both of the SSSL executives and Saran are all from India, but the target Qatari market and
the people, including both Sheikhs and host country nationals, that they have to deal with, share the
Islamic culture or Arab culture, which distinctly differ from India s religious belief Hinduism or
Buddhism culture.
In the next place, the factor of perception difference and experience difference (Beeber et al. 2014)
may occur as a result of culture differences. Since culture can influence the way people perceive
things and usually lead to diverse life events among individuals (Nisbett and Miyamoto 2005), people
from Qatar and India may have different solutions and reactions to the same problem in the future. At
the minimum, conflicts or stereotyping may occur among the host country nationals and expatriates; at
the maximum, the major decisions regarding the development and future direction of this partnership
business for both sides chief executives may go separate ways.
All three major differences outlined above interactively influence the cross cultural communication
process by creating noise (Francesco and

Adoption Essay
Adopting a child is an experience that promises to bring great joy as it changes a couple or individual
s life forever. But what happens if the mother of that child wants to endorse their child? Those are the
issues that many adopting parents and birth right mothers are facing today. Many biological mothers
want their child back. There are many concerns for adopting parents to know that there is the possibly
that the birth mother may file for the child. As a birth mother or the adopting parent one must realize
consequences that could lay ahead.
The legal and social transfer of all parental right, responsibilities, and roles from one parent or parents,
usually biological, to a nonbiological parent or parents is the definition of ... Show more content on

They do not feel ready or able to be good parents. Most adopting parents, although, feel confident that
most birth right mothers will not seize their child back. Chris Intagliata, a mother of two adopted
children advises that It [is] important to ask yourself what you can handle. If you feel you can handle
everything, that s a good attitude. Those are important notions adopting parents must do. Most of the
time adopting parents can handle the task but some times it backfires when the biological mother or
couple want the baby back.
Statistics show that the vast majority of independent adoptions in California are completed without a
hitch; less that 2 percent are even contested. But when an adoption is contested, the anguish felt by
both the adoptive and birth parents is unimaginable. Linda Ribordy, a family specialist who
represented a birth mother in a legal case says that if a birth mother changes her mind, it s automatic
that they get the baby back. But the adopting parents feel furiously and emotionally different. We have
no legal status, no legal rights, none, says Inger Bischofberger. But he calls me Mama. The only thing
that keeps me going is that I can t turn my back on him, I can t just walk away from him because all
the grownups in his life have messed up.
Birth mothers shouldn t gain their child

Tom Bombadil God In J. R. Tolkien s The Lord Of The Bible
Early Christian theory is often preoccupied with the anxieties of defining the ideal human in the light
of the Fall, and illustrating how humans should interact with the material world. Many of the early
Church fathers were Neoplatonists, writing that the material world is merely a reflection of a purer
realm inspired by the Creator. Ephrem the Syrian, however, centered his writings on Aristotelian
philosophy, emphasizing the importance of using our sense to interact with the material world. Instead
of ignoring our surroundings, Ephrem writes, we should praise both the Creator and His Creation in
everyday life (Hansbury 1). Despite being cast out from the Garden of Eden, humans should praise
God for Creation. The ideal human, therefore, should sing praises daily of both the physical and the
spiritual. In J.R.R. Tolkien s The Lord of the Rings, Tom Bombadil is a mystical character who
appears to be unaffected by the corruption of the world outside of the Old Forest. Other than his
tenuous relationship with Old Man Willow and the Barrow Wights, he is innocent to the evil lurking
outside his influence. He also sings and dances constantly, content to describe interact with his
physical surroundings. Tom Bombadil appears as an ideal human, like a pre Fall Adam, because he
expresses the early Christian tradition of a musical cosmology and anthropology, evidenced in the
works of Ephrem the Syrian.
Inspired by Syrian asceticism, Ephrem the Syrian was a well respected hymnist and

Microsoft Surface
Topic Selection Microsoft recently unveiled its prototype, Surface, their version of a tablet or
alternative device to a personal computer. It is questionable how Microsoft, a known software
company, will be able to manufacture and sell a tablet device that is a contender in the marketplace
against devices such as the iPad. Thesis: It is critical that Microsoft produce a device that overcomes
the limitations of its competitors and adds features that set it apart, in order to define itself in the tablet
market.
Background Information Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled the company s new tablet Surface, at
a press event in Hollywood last week. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Microsoft sees that Apple is world class in what they do. Microsoft has little choice but to do what
they must to make sure someone has world class hardware in the Windows camp. (Ray, 2012)
Microsoft has not had a competitor for the iPad since Apple released the original version in 2010.
Windows 8, which is to be available to consumers this fall, has been the company s hope to compete
against Apple s dominance in the tablet market. Apple sold 3 million of its new iPad s in the first three
days after its launch (Stern, 2012).
Along with determination, innovation, and advantages is the recognition that Microsoft can do some
very stupid and self defeating things. But the company has been in the tablet space for decades. In
fact, you could argue that one reason Apple knew what would work is because Microsoft did so much
of the advance work to eliminate what wouldn t. It may finally have gotten many of the mistakes out
of its collective system (Sherman, 2012). Ballmer said the company took its time with the tablets,
working quietly on its new machines to work out all the details. We took the time to get Windows 8
and Surface right, he said (Stern, 2012).
The company still faces big odds. Competing with itsown hardware partners could prove sticky, at
best. (Sherman, 2012) Sherlund

Using Computers And Software Programs The creation of new and advance technology is playing a significant role in the job functions of police officers, arming them with tools that have the ability to make them more knowledgeable and perform more effectively. The use of computers and software programs by law enforcement personnel has a variety of advantages and disadvantages in relation to criminal investigation and law enforcement. The use of computers and software programs have become beneficial tools for the criminal enterprise and for the prosecution in a criminal case. Technology has enabled law enforcement officers to launch queries about an individual from a variety of databases (Roberts, 2011). The development of the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) has empowered law enforcement with the ability to easily identify suspects during a criminal investigation and access criminal histories, while in the field and solve cases faster (Roberts, 2011). The Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System enable law enforcement officers to decrease the number of cold or unsolved criminal cases, increase communication between multiple agencies, and match past unsolved crimes (The Federal Bureau of Investigation [FBI], n.d.). Overall, the IAFIS has made it possible for law enforcement to apprehend criminals, and solve and prevent crimes (FBI, n.d.). • 5. The Law And The Judgement Of God What is the law? Does it provide the necessary soteriological provision for those that uphold it over the privileges found in faith? The Apostle Paul, who at one time was a staunch supporter of this view of the law before his conversion now seeks to show the truth of what the Mosaic Law has done and what its functions are in the age of the Messiah. Paul s argument of justification by faith is stacked against the legalistic points of the traditions of the Mosaic Law and what it is that provides peace with God. This paper will look at the components of Paul s view surrounding the law and the judgement of God, the freedom from the law given through Christ, and the responsibility blessings of Christian freedom from the law provide by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus. (Romans 2:12 16) The Inclusivity of the Law Paul establishes the view that will included the law and the judgement under it as an all inclusive understanding. He begins this section with the division of judgement the law itself has brought: those that sin without the law and those that sin under the law (v. 12). Paul is emphatic to his readers that those that have sinned without the law will be judged without the law. His reference to the law is that of the law established under the Mosaic covenant. His early narrative on the condition of the God s natural revelation to man places those that are not privy to the Mosaic Law under judgement because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them (1:19). • 6. Brazilian Culture Research Paper I am half Brazilian and half Japanese. My grandmother immigrated to Brazil when she was three years old. There she met my grandfather, whom was also Japanese, and started her family. I was born in Brazil in 1989, and I lived there until I was eleven. In 2000, my mother decided to move to Japan because of its exceeding economy. When I first arrived in Japan, I was in shock! I had no idea that a world so different from the one I ve known even existed. Brazilians and Japanese are the complete opposite. The Brazilian culture is individualistic, and Brazilians tend to value individualism. They all want to be unique in a certain way; no Brazilian wants to be average or just like everybody else. Shops, buses, trains; all the services follow the exact time they are supposed to. And the list goes on and on... People often ask me Are you more Brazilian or more Japanese? My answer is: neither. I think that when someone lives at a different country from their own, it changes them, and they become something else. You still maintain some aspects of the first country that you lived in, but you also acquire some aspects of the second country. You don t fully become the second race nor you can go back to be what you were before, leaving you at an intermediate state. I am neither Brazilian nor Japanese, I am another race. When I was living in Brazil as a child, I identified myself as Brazilian. My personality was typical of a Brazilian girl. But those thirteen years that I lived in Japan affected me and I acquired some Japanese characteristics. • 7. Taking a Look at Secular Humanism All systems of thought and each worldview have a notion of God. Secular humanism is defined as a belief system where humanity is the sovereign of all beings, and where reality and information rests in science and reason. The secular humanistic worldview started as a substitute among religions. Humanism is not a religious belief system in itself, while secular means not religious. A religion is any system of belief that informs an individual s worldview. The secular humanistic worldview has a distinctive belief on many disciplines such as theology, ethics, and evolution among others. Thus, the thesis of this paper is; the secular humanism worldview is religious, as secular humanists uphold beliefs and values that hold them with dedication. The purpose of this research paper is to discuss whether the secular humanistic worldview is indeed religious and how it has influenced the American Culture. Secular humanism is nontheistic and religious because it directs itself towards beliefs and practices that are in active opposition to customary theism. According to the Humanistic Manifestos I and II, secular humanism is a religious and philosophical moral point of view (House 381). The founders of the secular humanistic worldview considered it a religion. The ideals of the movement can be traced to ancient philosophers, scientists and poets of classical Rome and Greece and to some extent the Chinese Confucian society, Carvaka movements of India and other ancient moral ... • 9. Summary Of First Missionary Journey First Missionary Journey The book of Acts describes how Paul was ministering in Antioch with Barnabas, when he was directed by the Holy Spirit to be released from his Church duties. The Holy Spirit had another assignment for Paul, and that was to go and take the Gospel more widely. Some believe that this notion came from the Holy Spirit through fasting and prayer. Paul began his first missionary in the town of Antioch. Throughout Paul s first missionary journey he was accompanied by Barnabas and Barnabas cousin John Mark. God gave Paul a mission to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. They traveled from city to city spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, the message was not always being received. It is really no confirmed certainty on why John Mark eventually left Paul and Barnabas to return to Jerusalem. The Jews went on record as being in opposition to the Gospel, but Paul kept preaching the Gospel to the Gentiles. Paul saw that the Gentiles were very receptive to the Gospel. Although many Gentiles accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ, there were Jews that continued to display their anger towards the Gospel. There were some Jews that came and stirred up the crowd at Lystra against Paul and Barnabas. This crowd also stoned and left Paul for dead, but Paul did not allow that to stop him from preaching the Gospel to the city of Lystra. Lystra and Derbe proved to be fruitful areas to preach the Gospel, but not without their difficulties. One convert at Lystra on this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. The Face Of The Menace In Pinter s The Room Now, cleaning the room in total darkness is absurd as one can t see the dirt around. The real purpose of using the vacuum cleaner is to scare Davies, as he is unaware that the sudden noise is actually the hum of the Electrolux and that the object that moved along with him is the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner operated by Mick. In both the scenes it is observed that darkness is used as a cover to put the evil plans of the menacing elements into action. The face of the menace is veiled in the darkness and as such its effect on its victims is more intensified and lasting in comparison to the menace that can be seen in broad daylight. f) Violent/aggressive behavior of characters: In Pinter s plays, menace is also enhanced by the violent and aggressive behavior of the characters. Towards the end of the play The Room Bert becomes very violent and assaults Riley till he dies. This sudden violent behavior of Bert indicates that menace is prevalent everywhere. Nobody can bar the menace from entering his/her room as menace is both physical and abstract in form. The seemingly quiet Bert had been nurturing an intangible menace of jealousy and racial discrimination in his mind for long which found its release at the slightest provocation i.e. the sight of the negro, Riley. After Riley s death, Rose becomes blind and it is clear that the relationship between Bert and Rose will no longer remain as it used to be in the past. Likewise, in the play The Birthday Party the erratic and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. The Generation X And Generation Y In this study, the most interesting insight I read that the article distinguishes two generations, generation X and generation Y, they have varied on expectation of life. Additionally, the employer should realize to diversities of employee personality in the organization, which might contribute to making a conflict in teamwork such as having the different attitude, not understanding in other characteristics, confident of subconscious and so on. The generation X, who is composed of the parent of generation Y (born between 1965 and 1981), this generation has an optimistic aspect, and also prefer having life balances with working hard. In contrast, the generation Y (born between 1982 and 2000), the generation Y (born between 1982 and 2000), who grew up with enslavement by technology and have more independent (Susaeta et al. 2013). So, I have comprehended the key which might helpful to make deduction of working in the future. However, I think the personal behavior depends on education developmental, nation cultural and the environment where is they grew up, especially the influence of family affects to new generation thinking. As can be seen in the study of the authors of attitude to work shows that the means for attitudes to work both for individuals in generation X and Y are slightly different, it might because of the nation cultural. • 13. Compare And Contrast Plague Of Athens And The Plague The Plague of Athens, taking place in 429 B.C.E., is the first mass killing plague known to historians today. However, this doesn t mean that it wasn t as dangerous as plagues later on in history. In total 100,000 people died which is equivalent to more than one third of the Greece population. In the book The Plague , the city of Oran is overrun by a deadly disease. In both the Plague of Athens and the novel The Plague by Albert Camus, similarities occurred such as the diffusion of the disease, the symptoms and causes, and the social change. In both plagues, rats played a big part in spreading the disease. In the two separate plagues rats were one of the known reasons for the start of the plague. As stated in an article by the New World Encyclopedia, In addition, crowding caused by the influx of refugees into the city led to inadequate food and water supplies and an increase in insects, lice, rats, and waste. ( Plague of Athens ). Not only were the rats spreading the disease to fellow rodents, but they spread it to people also. This was the main reason why both plagues spread so fast. In the novel, the rats were found before the main disease started. The author wrote, He saw a big rat coming toward him from the dark end of the passage. It moved uncertainly, and its fur was sopping wet. The animal stopped and seemed to be trying to get its balance, moved forward again towards the doctor, halted again, then spun around on itself with a little squeal and fell on its ... In the 2014 annual report, various sustainable community, technology, and environmental advances were mentioned. It appears that AT T is on its way to sustainable reporting already. There are multiple functional changes that can occur in order for AT T to improve their sustainability. • 17. The Motive For Metaphor By John Frye In the first chapter of the book, The Motive for Metaphor , Frye starts off the book by using a vivid scene of an uninhabited island to illustrate three levels of the human mind and the language for each of them and further explore the use of imagination in literature. Frye then discusses the distinction between the arts and the sciences as science begins with the world we have to live in, accepting its data and trying to explain its laws (p23) while art begins with the world we construct, not the world we see .(p23) By shedding light on the fundamental difference, Frye argues that literature begins in the imaginative world and stresses his point of an unprogressive literature world even though imagination has no limits. Secondly, in The Singing School , Frye argues that literature itself, especially poetry, has a pedigree that provides writers with a form of convention because Literature can derive its forms only from itself (p. 42). Frye denies the idea that every literature piece is unique and totally unrelated to the previous one by forcefully argues that A writer s desire to write can only have come from previous experience of literature , and he ll start by imitating whatever he s read. • 18. The Role Of Governments And Unions Affected The Efficiency... How has the changing roles of governments and unions affected the efficiency and equity of labour market outcomes over the past 10 years? Australian Labour Market We refer to labour market outcomes as the performance of the labour market in reference to wage and employments levels and also the efficiency of labour allocation within the economy. Some wage outcomes include wage rates, distribution of wages and salaries, fringe benefits, loadings, bonuses and the relationship of these areas to occupation, gender, age, income groups and cultural background. Non wage outcomes references to the nature of employment that is affected by the composition of working i.e. full time, part time, casual and the aggregate levels of employment and unemployment. Due to the dynamic nature of the Australian labour market, we are able to respond to technological, economic, demographic and social changes that affect demand and supply of labour, at both a macroeconomic and microeconomic level. However the Australian labour market is not perfectly competitive as change in the demand and supply of labour through wage and employment levels in the many industries and occupations are not always responded perfectly. Thus, there are labour market institutions that intervene within the labour market to create changes and the two main institutions addressed in this report are the unions and the government. The Is A Victim Of Discrimination And Oppression Mereana is identified as a victim of discrimination and oppression as a result of her family being deeply religious and she is a committed Christian. As being from a Christian family her culture is strictly against homosexuality. Mereana is concerned because her family do not have the wish to talk about her woman partner even though she loves her more than anything else in the world. Reasoning this is she has not formally come out to the family. From my perspective the idea of being marginalised has already been set by the family. Mereana is basically trying to articulate she only wants acceptance, and she wants her family to appreciate her and her woman partner with open loving arms, and especially to approve of who they are as a person regardless of their sexual orientation. It seen like Mereana wants homosexuality to be seen as just another alternative lifestyle. But her culture, the Bible does not support homosexuality, nor does it support homosexual marriage. Homosexual marriage is perceived as condemned. Marriage is conceived as a legal union only between a man and a woman. This legislation portrays as a declaration about how the heterosexual family is appraised and how all other family forms are not. • 20. Demographic Trends Of The Demographic Transition Model The demographic transition model shows historical population trends of two demographic characteristics such as birth rate and death rate. (Grover, D. 2014). In 1929 a demographic observer named Warren Thompson decided to make a chart that showed transitions in death and birth rates changed in an industrialized society of the last two hundred years. (Montgomery, K. 2015). The demographic model shows if population increased or decreased in all countries due to their economy stability. If there were countries with high death and birth rate, what the factors that contributed to the high or low rates such as not enough food, or what diseases people were getting to make those rates increase. There are four phases of demographic transition. Stage 1 is known as the Pre transition stage. This is characterized by birth rates, and high fluctuating death rates. Stage 2 is known as the Early Transition stage. During this stage rate begins to fall, while the birth rates remain high, and the population begins to grow. Stage 3 is known as the Late Transition stage. In this stage birth rate starts to decline, and the population growth begins to decline. Stage 4 is known as the Post Transition stage. In this stage there is low birth and death rate, and population also declines. According to demographers, the factors that lead to a decline in CDR during stage 2 and stage 3 of the demographic transition stages was high birth rate, which mean the population ... • 23. Causes Of The French And Indian War Essay An Examination of the French and Indian Wars I.Causes The initial causes of the French and Indian War are based on the increasing colonization of French and English settlements throughout the Ohio River Valley area. In the 1750s, British colonists were slowly expanding territorial settlements into the Ohio River Valley from Virginia. In this manner, the English were aggressively establishing more land claims and rights for the British government. More so, the English were cooperating with the local Native American tribes in terms of sharing land rights or respecting the traditions of the indigenous peoples, which often involved military supports and resources from the Iroquois tribe. In contrast to this colonial development, the French were also claiming land rights for settlements in the Ohio River Valley by moving east and southwards from the Great Lakes and French colonial territories in New France. The French also cooperated with local indigenous peoples, such as the Huron, to fight the British during this historical period. The Huron people had a long tradition of trade, and other forms of economic and military cooperation to support this alliance: The link that joined most of Canada s Indian nations to the French was not a common faith, but a common interest in the fur trade. On the even of the French and Indian War, The French government maintained some forty four fortified Indian trading posts, some protected by a small garrison (Cave 46). These aspects of colonial were a major part of the French alliance with the Huron, but it was also part of agreements that the British made with the Iroquois during the 1740s and 1750s. • 39. Illegal Interrogation Of Amanda Knox Analysis The article The Illegal Interrogation of Amanda Knox shows people through their opinions how the interrogation was illegal. For example, the article states, Amanda Knox was interrogated repeatedly in the five days following the murder of Meredith Kercher. This is bias by omission because they only look at it as if she is not guilty, and only use their language, they do not provide facts that Amanda actually continuously told the story over and over again. • 40. Las Vegas, The Original City Of Sin Essay Las Vegas, the original City of Sin (Bull 2). Marketing campaigns flaunt the idea what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas (Bull 4). Now known for its attitude of permissiveness, especially regarding sexual behavior, Las Vegas has grown tremendously from it s humble beginnings as a simple rail stop between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City (Bull 2). In 1911, with a population of just over 2,000, Las Vegas was incorporated and its first mayor elected. Fast forward twenty years, and the population has almost quadrupled and gambling is legalized. Reminiscent of a perfect storm, the setting was ripe for exploitation: Las Vegas was distanced from other towns or cities, the railroad allowed people to easily travel, and legalized gambling opened up avenues for debasement. With it s remote location and legalized gambling, it was inevitable that big time mobsters would come onto the scene. Additionally, casinos were being erected, encouraging guests to spend money and drink liquor, thus leading to uninhibited behavior. Furthermore, by providing workers in the oldest profession there would be yet another way to line the pockets of the underworld figures who created the foundation for the Vegas of today. Russell W. Belk has argued, the idea that Las Vegas provides forbidden fruit and guilty pleasures;a vital part of the city s appeal (Bull 4). According to Hal Rothman, Las Vegas has a widely accepted role as a place where generations of Americans have been allowed to self indulge ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the next place, the factor of perception difference and experience difference (Beeber et al. 2014) may occur as a result of culture differences. Since culture can influence the way people perceive things and usually lead to diverse life events among individuals (Nisbett and Miyamoto 2005), people from Qatar and India may have different solutions and reactions to the same problem in the future. At the minimum, conflicts or stereotyping may occur among the host country nationals and expatriates; at the maximum, the major decisions regarding the development and future direction of this partnership business for both sides chief executives may go separate ways. • 43. Tom Bombadil God In J. R. Tolkien s The Lord Of The Bible Early Christian theory is often preoccupied with the anxieties of defining the ideal human in the light of the Fall, and illustrating how humans should interact with the material world. Many of the early Church fathers were Neoplatonists, writing that the material world is merely a reflection of a purer realm inspired by the Creator. Ephrem the Syrian, however, centered his writings on Aristotelian philosophy, emphasizing the importance of using our sense to interact with the material world. Instead of ignoring our surroundings, Ephrem writes, we should praise both the Creator and His Creation in everyday life (Hansbury 1). Despite being cast out from the Garden of Eden, humans should praise God for Creation. The ideal human, therefore, should sing praises daily of both the physical and the spiritual. In J.R.R. Tolkien s The Lord of the Rings, Tom Bombadil is a mystical character who appears to be unaffected by the corruption of the world outside of the Old Forest. Other than his tenuous relationship with Old Man Willow and the Barrow Wights, he is innocent to the evil lurking outside his influence. He also sings and dances constantly, content to describe interact with his physical surroundings. Tom Bombadil appears as an ideal human, like a pre Fall Adam, because he expresses the early Christian tradition of a musical cosmology and anthropology, evidenced in the works of Ephrem the Syrian. Microsoft sees that Apple is world class in what they do. Microsoft has little choice but to do what they must to make sure someone has world class hardware in the Windows camp. (Ray, 2012) Microsoft has not had a competitor for the iPad since Apple released the original version in 2010. Windows 8, which is to be available to consumers this fall, has been the company s hope to compete against Apple s dominance in the tablet market. Apple sold 3 million of its new iPad s in the first three days after its launch (Stern, 2012). Along with determination, innovation, and advantages is the recognition that Microsoft can do some very stupid and self defeating things. But the company has been in the tablet space for decades. In fact, you could argue that one reason Apple knew what would work is because Microsoft did so much of the advance work to eliminate what wouldn t. It may finally have gotten many of the mistakes out of its collective system (Sherman, 2012). Ballmer said the company took its time with the tablets, working quietly on its new machines to work out all the details. We took the time to get Windows 8 and Surface right, he said (Stern, 2012).
