Lord Of The Flies Civilization Vs Civilization Analysis
The beast shows the significance of civilization because it shows what happens when the boys lose
hope in going back to civilization. When Ralph says that the hunters can t even defeat the beast, Jack
says, He s like Piggy. He says things like Piggy. He isn t a proper chief and leaps down from the
platform and [runs] along the beach when nobody agrees with him (Golding 126 127). This shows that
the beast keeping their chances from returning to civilization brings the boys deeper into savagery
because the boys begin to think of survival rather than rescue. When Ralph belittles the hunters that
Jack believes is vital to survival now that they cannot be rescued, which causes him to separate and
bring about chaos. When the boys think that Simon

Similarities Between Tang And Song Dynasties
Major changes in political structure, social and economic life define the Sui, Tang, and Song
dynasties. During the sixth century, General Yang Jian, ended the Age of the Disunity. He conquered
China and launched the short lived Sui Dynasty. This managed to open the room for six centuries of
Chinese Preeminence under the Tang and Song Dynasties (Connections: A World History, Volume 1,
page 311). Yang Jian married a wealthy noblewoman, who then helped him become a main advisor to
a northern emperor, whom he wedded his daughter too. In 581, he started a new dynasty called Sui
(Connections: A World History, Volume 1 pages 311 312). The country also documents many eminent
people who gave to the nation s enrichment and development experienced today. Nevertheless, this
essay seeks to discuss the major alterations in political structures, social and economic life that took
place during the Sui dynasty, the Tang dynasty and the Song dynasty in China.

Hillary Clinton Accomplishments
As a eighteen year old woman, I am very excited to get the chance to vote this year. This year is also
the first time a woman has been nominated in a major party. Hillary Clinton was elected to the U.S.
Senate in 2001, allowing her to become the first American First Lady to win a seat in the public office.
Soon after she became the 67th U.S secretary of state in 2009 till 2013. Hillary Clinton is a very hard
working woman which you can tell from her past accomplishments. Hillary Clinton was born on
October 26,1947, in Chicago, Illinois. Hillary Clinton was active in young Republican groups and
even campaigned for Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater in 1964. She shifted to the
Democrat party in 1968 after hearing a speech by the

Penis Growth Research Paper
Making your penis higher is convenient with the advent of free penis workout routines. With out the
need for drugs, pumps, or other contraptions, any man can increase their penis measurement each in
length and girth. The first class part of all is that these are common penis enlargement workout
routines.
These are probably the most many penis growth approaches that should be evaded:
putting weights: whilst it is going to seem apparent to hang weights from your penis to stretch it, this
designated procedure is without problems too dicy and dangerous. One false transfer can burst blood
vessels and intent permanent impotence anything that no man would fathom.
Pumps: prolonged use of pumps and equivalent contraptions can result in lengthy term and potentially
irreversible harm to the penis. What s extra, their effectiveness at enlarging the penis is still disputed.

these creams contain any detrimental components, they are able to cause severe infection and injury to
the penis. Creams will not be invasive, but they aren t as nice as ordinary penis expansion exercises.
Silicone injections: Of all the mainstream penis expansion approaches, that is essentially the most
unsafe. Silicone injections may just increase penis girth but when any of the liquid gets into the
bloodstream, then the penalties could also be deadly. Although carried out adequately, the penis can
also be damaged or deformed beyond repair.
Surgery: Invasive surgery is essentially the most high priced and most painful of the approaches
mentioned. A failed operation can leave you with a permanently scarred

Assessment of the SCADA/Stuxnet Worm on U.S. and Global Infrastructures
The rapid proliferation of malware and sophisticated computer viruses capable of electronically
interrupting and dismantling nuclear sites, key elements of infrastructure to the Programmable Logic
Controller device level while learning or accumulating knowledge at the same time is becoming more
pervasive. The well known Stuxnet worm, which experts theorize was originally funded and supported
technologically by one or more nations to attack Iran s Bushehr reactor (Greengard, 2010) is one of
the most strategically lethal cyberweapons in existence today. What makes the Stuxnet worm so lethal
is its ability to traverse and navigate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks,
targeting specific devices and programmable controllers down to the manufacturer and operational
block level (Network Security, 2010). The Stuxnet worm is widely believed to be designed to quickly
navigate the Microsoft based platform of the Iranian Bushehr reactor and disable it from operating, as
this nation is widely believed to be using the reactor to produce uranium for their weapons program
(Network Security, 2010). The stealth like nature and speed of the Stuxnet worm has also been
problematic to catch even in controlled SCADA based infrastructure systems. The level of
sophistication of this threat is at a level not seen before by many organizations and national security
agencies (Greengard, 2010). The intent of

Break A Leg Identity
A Mysterious Identity and Dark Humor Maintain Suspense in Break A Leg
By: Emma Morgan
Jesse Shamata s Break A Leg, which focuses on a hitman discussing his life philosophy with an
unknown subject, creates and sustains suspense through the combination of a hidden identity and dark
humor.
Concealing the identity of the person sitting with the main character a hitman is what makes this short
film particularly unique and intriguing. It s not often that a film leaves the viewer wondering who the
protagonist is talking to until its last few minutes. This technique builds suspense because the viewer
doesn t know what the hitman s intentions are in talking to this person, if this person will be harmed
by the end of the film, or even what this person looks like.
The extreme close ups of the hitman as he talks about harming people also add to this suspense
because they prevent the viewer from seeing much of the hitman s surroundings at the beginning of
the film. Instead, the viewer is forced to focus on the hitman s hardened appearance and his rough
voice. However, there are some shots of other characters reacting to what the hitman is saying ... Show

The viewer wonders why the hitman is going through the trouble of explaining his craft if his goal is
simply to injure or kill the person with whom he is talking. It seems especially odd that the hitman
would go on an extended tangent about being able to tell if a person is a folder or a crumpler. (This is
in reference to how a person uses toilet paper.) He relates this back to how much control people want
to have in their lives and how this affects them. This sequence, in particular, utilizes a dark sense of
humor. It forces the viewer to laugh at the absurdity of this conversation about bathroom habits, while
they remain frightened for whomever the hitman is telling this

Lenin s Death Of Tsar Of Russia
Born in 1870, Vladimir Illych Ulyanov, better known as Lenin was born to a well off middle class
family. Lenin was said to be a very gifted student but extremely bossy. In 1887, Lenin s elder brother
Alexander was arrested for plotting to kill the tsar of Russia which lead to his hanging. The rest of the
society refused to have anything to do with Lenin s family as Alexander had brought great shame on
the town. This was during the peak of Russia s Imperial period, so citizens treated the tsar as if he
were a God. It is claimed that when Lenin heard about the execution, he said I ll make them pay for
this. I swear I will. Many years later, Lenin s wife said that it was this event that turned Lenin into a
revolutionary with a desire to rid ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He believed that the rich should be helping the poor. This was the root of his belief that any one man
making a profit was bad for society; to him production was meant for survival. Lenin says everybody
in society is equal and should have equal rights. So he believed that there must be a strong central
government which truly represents its people. How would Lenin bring about such a change? He
followed Marx s teachings.
In the second chapter of the communist manifesto headed Proletarians and Communists , Marx and
Engels mention the idea of a political vanguard party that must be formed with the task of leading the
proletariat in revolution. This was exactly what Vladimir Lenin did; he started a party, the Bolsheviks,
which played the role of the socialist vanguard. The Bolsheviks would eventually overthrow the Tsar
and promote the working class. The change in power from the bourgeoisie to the proletariat allows the
full development of socialism.
Lenin and Marx had the same take on the definition of socialism. They both believed that socialism is
the step between capitalism and communism. Yet they had differing approaches towards this. Marx
believed that there would be a capitalistic state in place before revolution forces it into socialism. This
is preceded by a quick and easy jump into the true communism. In Lenin s Russia they had just broken
out of feudalism and the economy was in unrest. So Lenin thought in Russia he could

The Effects Of Sporting Events On Soccer 2010
The stadium was shaking with the thunderous cheers of fans supporting their countries. The
excitement grew as coaches gave last minute instructions to their players. The kick off of the 1966
World Cup, held in England, in which Germany versed England, was moments away. The whistle
blew and the match was on. The first ninety minutes of the match were an exciting battle and the game
ended in a 0 0 score; on to overtime! According to an article written Zoe Doherty During the final,
with eleven minutes gone in extra time, Alan Ball crossed to George Hurst whose subsequent shot
cannoned off the underside of the goal and down either just on or over the goal line. The goal was
controversially allowed, and its validity is still questioned to this day. (Goal line technology in soccer
2010) Controversy has always played a major role in the officiating of sporting events since the
official s decisions are based upon their judgments and observations. Maybe in 1966 that had to be the
case, but today, thanks to modern technology, that s not so. Rather than relying solely on their personal
observations to determine a call, soccer officials are now being assisted by goal line technology, a tool
to assist them making their official rulings during a game. According to the Fédération Internationale
de Football Association, known as FIFA, which is the international governing body of the association
of soccer, goal line technology is, A technical means of instantly determining

The Role Of The Direct Effect And State Liability
The given scenario involves a women name Suvi, a Finnish national who wants to work in UK as a
self employer offering her services as a Zoo technologist to the zoos in UK. In order to achieve that
she must be registered with National Authority of Zoo The problem with her situation is the that her
application for registration has been rejected based on two reasons, (1) she must obtain a qualification
in respective field from UK in line with 2014 UK Act and (2) she must obtain insurance in accordance
with EU Directive 2010/5.
The main issue for Suvi to concern with is the enforcement of EU law and the application of the
Direct effect and possible following of Indirect effect and State Liability. The Direct Effect is a term

And to do that she must full fill the criteria of Van Gend en Loos [5] i.e (1) Be clear and precise (2) Be
unconditional and (3) Not dependent on further actions by EU institutions or by Member state .[6]
For Suvi s first reason of rejection of application of registration with NAZ, Under the Regulation EU
12/2012 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND COUNCIL on the right of free of movement for
zoo technologisist 1 APRIL 2012. ART 1, ART 3 and ART 7 satisfies the Van Gen en loos test s first
and second condition because ART 1 and ART 3 of the regulation Gives right s to Suvi to work in UK
to as a self employed zoo technologist .she is a Finnish national, EU MS citizen, thus she can work in
any other MS and she is entitled to be registered with National Authority of Zoos (NAZ) the
regulation should have been applied by UK by December 2012 and by the facts given it it indicates
that UK government did not do the transposition properly therefore it will be safe to say that the time
of transpose has passed thus satisfying second condition and EU regulation can be enforced like the
case of Pubblico Ministero v Rotti 148/78 [7] principle where the date of implementation has passed
and the directive have not been implemented or implemented properly.
Even though the EU Regulation, under ART 288,EU law is directly applicable in host country, these
three Articles full fill the first two conditions of the criteria i.e. Be clear and precise, Be unconditional.

Advantage Of Competitive Advantage
1. Introduction 1.1. Introduction to firm s competitive advantage Strategy is concerned with matching
a firm s resources and capabilities to the opportunities that arise in the external environment. (Grant, p.
114, 2016). In basic sense, a firm is a place where a product or service originates. A firm is a place
where a group of people co operate and co ordinate with each other to frame a product or services as
per the taste of the customers to reach the organizational goal of profitability. There is mixture of a lot
stakeholders like, suppliers, customers, manufacturers, distributers, etc. in a firm. A firm is a legal
entity one that signs contracts with its suppliers, distributors, employees and often customers.
(Chandler, 1992). Competitive advantage is a very general but genuine term in the present business
market. The business market is very competitive. One has to be very unique as well as customer
satisfying in order to sustain in the market for the long run. A competitive advantage is an advantage
gained over competitors by offering customers greater value, either through lower prices or by
providing additional benefits and service that justify similar, or possibly higher, prices (Ehmke, 2008).
(Porter, 2008) Competitive Advantage introduces the concept of the value chain, a general framework
for thinking strategically about the activities involved in any business and assessing their relative cost
and role in differentiation. It can be in various aspects of

Human Trafficking In China
In 2004, and estimated 800,000 900,000 people, every year, were being trafficked worldwide (Yik Yi
Chu 40). It has increased much since then. Human trafficking is a big problem, not only in China, but
all over the world. People are not aware that human beings are being treated as property and they need
to know in order for this to be resolved.
Human trafficking is threatening or abducting people for exploitation. People, mostly gangs, kidnap
men, women, and children to sell them on the sex trade or use them to do hard labor. The money being
made by using and selling people is much more than any other selling business, like drugs or
exporting goods. This makes more people want to start in the trade. In order for money to be made, its
is usually means smuggling people through borders. If human trafficking is such a worldwide
problem, it means that the government is losing control over their borders, not just in China or the
U.S. but all over the world (Yik Yi Chu 42). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

complicated routes, that they change frequently (Yik Yi Chu 43). When the police think they figured

mostly towards the wealthy parts of China, which is in the West. The wealthier the people the more
the traffickers make. If the traffickers are making so much, they ll want more and then even more
people will be taken. There is a large emigration history in China, which is one of the reasons
trafficking started. When people were emigrating in and out of the country, it was harder to track

The Conflict Between Syrian And Foreign Policy
Given the high level of foreign interest in Syria, it is a fact that the conflict cannot be resolved without
the involvement of both opposing Syrian parties and their foreign backers. This refugee disaster has
only become more complicated with the involvement of these foreign nations. As well, the ordeal has
exponentially worsened with the rise of jihadist organizations like ISIS. These groups seek to
eliminate all other opposition forces as well as the Syrian state itself, in an effort to claim all of the
leftover territory. Scarcity in weapons and funds in Syria are also leading to additional struggle. From
the beginning of the Syrian war, regional and international powers have intervened in the conflict
through direct support. Many argue that if Syria had been a major ally of Western countries, or even of
Russia, this war would have been stopped years ago. As it is now, Syria is caught in between two
major power blocs, and the government under Assad has gradually become an issue that these two
nations believe should be dealt with. But how?
From the perspective of rational choice theorists, their model assumes that states and their leaders
make choices that they believe will lead to the best possible outcomes for them in terms of their
individual goals. The interests of these parties include enhancing the state in various manners; such as
a stronger government, more economic power, proliferation of a military, and so on. Decision makers

Self efficacy and Empowerment
Introduction
Can rephrasing our refusal statement help us achieve our goals? According to the study performed by
Patrick Hagtvedt (2012), the answer is yes. The resistance to temptation is vital for healthy eating,
weight loss, as well as maintaining our commitment to any goal. Long term goals take the time to
attain, which provides us with ample opportunity to give in to our wants and desires . When this
happens, we delay our progress. Many studies have been performed on this subject; however, this is
the first one to examine the linguistic approach of self talk or talking to oneself, using our internal
forces, to assist us in reaching that goal (Patrick, V., Hagtvedt, H., 2012). It proposes, ... Show more

Self efficacy is a complex concept which empowers us to do whatever we believe we can do, giving
us self confidence, and enhancing our motivation (Carey Forsyth, 2017). Fisher and Kridli (2014)
define motivation as, A complex concept that includes the beliefs, values, and attitudes regarding the
accomplishment of a desired behavior or behaviors (P. 238, Para. 3). Furthermore, Patrick and
Hagtvedt (2012) conceptualize empowerment as, A feeling of strength and control that in turn may
help motivate goal pursuit (P. 373, Para. 3). Patrick and Hagtvedt (2012) proposed that, Using the
word don t rather than can t represents two distinct types of refusal that differ in terms of what they
implicitly connote about the consumer s commitment and attitude toward their goals (P. 371, Para. 2).
Just as in the original study, my study seeks to demonstrate the use of self talk in creating
empowerment in an individual, which will enhance the resistance to temptation and motivate goal
directed behavior (Patrick Hagtvedt, 2012, P. 372). In the prior study, quantitative analysis was
performed using ANOVA, Chi square, and binary logistic regression (Patrick Hagtvedt, 2012). The

More Space Shuttle Experiments Take Flight Summary
The article More Space Shuttle Experiments Take Flight, talks about a unique mentorship program for
the ages of elementary children. The mentorship program prepares experiments that have been
conducted in flight on space shuttle missions, students have the chance to study simulations that have
happened in space in a classroom setting. For example, students study the effect of spaceflight on
seeds and brine shrimp germinated/ hatched in the classroom. The article includes the students and the
teachers, it is a nationwide mentorship program that is engaging students to move on to the next set of
space shuttle experiment studies. Several schools are participating in these different series of space
shuttle experiments and the experiments vary depending on the age level and interest.
What I love about these space shuttle experiments is the fact that the students and teachers are
involved together. There is communication throughout all the schools involved and unanswered
questions are always given an answer. When students in the classroom are given an experiment like
this, it is going to create a learning environment that is enjoyable for learners. The author of the
article, Robert ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The four different control groups allowed students to examine the effects on germination of seeds
exposed to a hostile space environment. The groups encouraged different studies but the total outcome
allowed students the chance to learn about different effects that space has on different seeds. In order
for the experiments to work there had to be teams in order to simulate a collaborative research
environment. The collaboration in these experiments taught students about the space environment and
what it is capable of and the importance of teamwork to help one another succeed as a

Tajikistan (officially the Republic of Tajikistan) is a mountainous landlocked country in Central Asia.
Afghanistan borders it to the south, Uzbekistan to the west, Kyrgyzstan to the north, and People s

territories as far as Zeravshan valley in Sogdiana formed parts of ancient Kamboja and the Parama

Arabs brought Islam in the 7th century CE[citation needed], more or less forcing the people to

Barbie, The Soulless Blonde Bombshell That Brainwashes Children
Barbie is the controversial toy every big news outlet loves to poke and prod about. Barbie was created
in 1959 after Ruth Handler observed her daughter, Barbara, playing with paper dolls. Ruth
immediately recognized that experimenting with the future from a safe distance through pretend play
was an important part of growing up. Even though some may be intimidated by Barbie s seemingly
perfect, tanned, thin body, Barbie is only a doll; In the end, she is just a hunk of plastic.
Other body types are represented in the media, as well as a wide selection of other dolls to choose
from; Lammily dolls, Fulla dolls, and many other alternatives to Barbie. When your four year old

It s what they know best. Another thing they know best is the art of forgiveness, inquiry, and total,
complete worship of the bigger human that birthed them. Now, if a parent goes around spewing about
the doll s real life measurements , which happen to be 5 9 tall, a 39 bust, a 18 waist, 33 hips and a size
3 shoe, then the child is going to look twice and question the doll. Only an adult would look at a toy s
body and be angry about it. Moving on.
Barbie s got a bad reputation. All that is really focused on is her looks. This defeats the purpose of the
entire concept of the doll herself, and it goes to show just how women (even of the rubber/plastic type)
are portrayed in the public eye. Actions figures aren t exactly only looked at for their rock hard abs
and meaty arms, but seen for their strength, courage, and all around manliness. This brings us to a
double standard, but that s another essay topic in

Two Minutes Of Hate In 1984 By George Orwell
In a key scene during the exposition of the novel 1984, the Party has their Two Minutes of Hate. All of
the Outer Party members are violently yelling and releasing their built up anger. The Party members
rage is directed towards Goldstein who is the supposed leader of the rebellious group called the
Brotherhood. The chosen excerpt is during Winston s explanation of Two Minutes of Hate and
Goldstein s speech. Orwell establishes the power of blame through the Party s demonstration of
Goldstein and the Brotherhood. Orwell exploits the theme through Winston s inner monologue about
Goldstein during Two Minutes of Hate. One instance is Winston s diaphragm was constricted. He
could never see the face of Goldstein without a painful mixture of emotion (Orwell 12.) Winston
explains how he was taught to loathe Goldstein. Winston grew up before the Party was in power, but
the Party has managed to persuade Winston to instinctually fear and hate Goldstein. Additionally,
Orwell continues to display the Party s power through Winston by describing Goldstein s speech as so
exaggerated and perverse that a child should have been able to see through it, and yet just plausible
enough to fill one with an alarmed feeling that other people, less level headed than oneself, might be
taken by it (Orwell 12.) Winston initially describes how the Party has misled him to believe to hate
Goldstein. Later, Winston continues to describe how everyone else sees Goldstein. Some people use

Amy Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Case Study
Adolescent health has become an increasingly important focus in the last few years because health
needs in this cohort have changed considerably (Sanci, Glover, Coffey, 2003). Raphael (1996) pointed
towards an increasing and disproportionate rise in psychosocial problems affecting youth and Brown
(2002) posits that health problems and health compromising behaviours are interrelated in this cohort.
It is important to look beyond the presenting issue and assess the adolescent taking into account their
developmental stage, risk and protective factors and resiliency (McNeely, Nonnemaker, Blum, 2002).

On the other hand, circumstances and behaviours which lead to positive outcomes in the lives of some
at risk adolescents are called protective factors. Resilience is the ability to access and mobilise
protective resources that counteract risks (Rew Horner, 2003). An important part of planning a
response to an adolescent s situation is to identify their needs. An assessment for these factors must be
part of the screening process to facilitate early detection and health promotion in young people (Sanci

Grecian Identity Essay
Greece has been a central pinnacle of continuous change. Change that has been influenced by
numerous cultures, such as the Minoan culture. The sum of these cultural influences developed a
variety of Grecian identities, as well as different interpretations of government. However, these
identities were not a unified, collective identity of the people itself. The Greeks were once known as
something else: Achaean, Dorian, Ionian, Mycenaean, Theban, Athenian, and so forth. The
government was not representative of its people. Shifts in power and authority beset the political
atmosphere of Greece. With time, however, the people of Greece began to strive toward a collective

However, glory can be easily lost, hence Hector s reluctance to leave the battle.
ArĂȘte did not discriminate between ethnicities; it was a universal goal. The quest for arĂȘte indicated
the priorities of the military, specifically the individuals, during this time. It was more important to
achieve glory than it was to win the war (winning the war was also preferable to many individuals).
Also, the achievement of arĂȘte influenced social status. The greater the goal, the more well known and
powerful the individual was. Many times, arĂȘte was achieved by the aristoi, or wealthy nobleman. The
aristoi could afford armor and could easily participate in battles. Because of this advantage, the best

Written during the Iron Age (1150 750 BCE), The Iliad occurs within the Bronze Age (3000 1150

support from allies, regardless of the reason for their altercation. Agamemnon, king of Mycenae,
supports and aids his brother Menelaus in his battle against the Trojans. Others agree to support and to
fight with Menelaus as well, such as Odysseus, king of Ithaca. Concurrently, Hector, a prince of Troy
and brother of Paris, agrees to fight for Paris. In both occurrences, the belief of allies is strongly
supported. For the Achaeans, their

Intrinsic Motivation And Student Success
The United States of America is known for being a country filled with people of many different ethnic
backgrounds. Likewise, the student population in schools is just as diverse as it continues to grow.
Lynch (2015) notes that schools are expected to teach their students how to synthesize cultural
differences into their knowledge base as this will help facilitate students personal and professional
success in a diverse world (para. 8). Educators must be able to provide for the diverse needs of
students and are expected to equip students with skills that can lead to healthy development as it can
affect higher levels of student achievement and students have more opportunities of success in their
future. Providing students with tools and skills requires an awareness and acceptance of their ethnic
identity. Once students have developed self acceptance about their ethnic identity, they can begin to
feel empowered and motivated to do well. Through cultural empowerment, students of color can
develop intrinsic motivation and achieve academic success.

The Use of Animals in Rhetorical Advertising
The use of an owl to sell glasses is perhaps an influence to grab people s attention. Many ads today
use animals, and as a result intrigue people to obtain products that companies are demonstrating in
their ads. Moreover, the America s Best ad uses one fact, the $69.95 price, but supports it with
evidence to impress people about their glasses and how the company constructs them. The current
television advertisement is depicting an owl promoting America s Best glasses to a lady, which
conveys the use of rhetoric in prosperous ads. This advertisement portrays the idea of shopping at
America s Best for eyeglasses. First of all, an owl is perched on the back of a park bench, adjacent to a
lady. In addition, the owl s attire includes his eyeglasses from America s Best , while the lady is
wearing glasses from another place. The owl turns to the woman and says You know you paid too
much for those glasses? . Then, the woman responds Who? . As the conversation continues, the owl
keeps ranting about how America s Best has a deal for two pairs of glasses for $69.95 and a free eye
exam included. Throughout the entire ad, the woman teases the owl about the deal that America s Best
is offering by saying who repeatedly. Near the conclusion of the ad, the owl catches on to the woman s
tactics and he gets frustrated with her habitual use of the question who? . The ad targets people that

Many communities, particularly rural areas do not possess adequate school facilities. Even when
schools are sometimes available, they are too far away, difficult to reach, unaffordable or the quality of
education is so poor that parents wonder if going to school is really worth it. In government run
primary schools, even when children show up, government paid teachers do not show up 25% of the
time. The 2008 ILO study suggests that illiteracy resulting from a child going to work, rather than a
quality primary and secondary school, limits the child s ability to get a basic educational grounding
which would in normal situations enable them to acquire skills and to improve their prospects for a
decent adult working life. An older report published by UNICEF outlines the issues summarized by
the ILO report. The UNICEF report claimed that while 90% of child labour in India is in its rural
areas, the availability and quality of schools is decrepit; in rural areas of India, claims the old UNICEF
report, about 50% of government funded primary schools that exist do not have a building, 40% lack a

Compare And Contrast Night Rhythms And The Yellow Wallpaper
Some people believe in fate, luck, and religion, whereas others believe in only things that are tangible.
The you have to see it to believe it mentality is a major aspect as to why people have a hard time
understanding mental illness, and why in turn patients with mental illness have a hard time getting the
help they need. In comparing the texts, Night Rhythms and The Yellow Wallpaper, these distinct
differences between physical and mental illness are highlighted. The idea of not believing in what is
not tangible is shown in the beginning of Night Rhythms, in the description of the woman s husband.
It says, He scoffs openly at any talk of things not to be felt and seen and put down in figures (p. ) .
This is significant because mental illness cannot always be felt, seen, or put down in figures. Society
is more understanding and sympathetic of physical illness than mental illness. In these two texts, the
illnesses described are cerebral palsy and postpartum depression. Cystic fibrosis is a congenital
disease that affects motor skills. This is a physical illness. Postpartum depression occurs after a mother
delivers her baby. After delivers, the hormone levels in the mother s body drop and this combined with
sleep deprivation and new stress can leave the mother feeling very down. This is a mental illness. In
Night Rhythms, Deans illness is described as he choked during birth, which means the rhythm of the
contractions were wrong. His lungs opened too soon (p. 102) . It is

The Problem With Low Libido
Some call it passion, others know it as desire, and others simply refer to it as lust or canal urge, but
whatever name you want to give this elusive feeling, there s no denying that it s a feeling worth
experiencing. As a young woman, you are either doing it, trying to get it, or thinking about it. If it s
not any (or a combination) of the three, then some people will tell you outright that there s something
wrong with you. While most young women between the ages of 18 and 30 are caught up in a sexed up
culture of lingerie parties and walks of shame, some lasses painfully learn a painful lesson that low
libido is not a thing for the menopausal only. Statistics show that about 30% of young women
experience problems with low sex drive. Are you one of this unlucky lot? If yes, read on to find out
what could be the cause of your disinterest in sex: 1. Fatigue Have you heard of (or suffered from) the
honey I m tired sickness? If your answer is in the affirmative, then don t go looking for another libido
stealer. Fatigue is known to be a very common sex drive killer. The problem is that fatigue is a natural
body response of telling you that you have endured a lot physically. The best way to prevent fatigue
from stealing your sexual energy is to avoid engaging in activities that will drain your energy or exert
pressure on you physically. If you know that you have a date that will later on end up on a happy note,

Although carried out adequately, the penis can also be damaged or deformed beyond repair. Surgery: Invasive surgery is essentially the most high priced and most painful of the approaches mentioned. Assessment of the SCADA/Stuxnet Worm on U.S. and Global Infrastructures The rapid proliferation of malware and sophisticated computer viruses capable of electronically interrupting and dismantling nuclear sites, key elements of infrastructure to the Programmable Logic Controller device level while learning or accumulating knowledge at the same time is becoming more pervasive. The well known Stuxnet worm, which experts theorize was originally funded and supported technologically by one or more nations to attack Iran s Bushehr reactor (Greengard, 2010) is one of the most strategically lethal cyberweapons in existence today. What makes the Stuxnet worm so lethal is its ability to traverse and navigate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks, targeting specific devices and programmable controllers down to the manufacturer and operational block level (Network Security, 2010). The Stuxnet worm is widely believed to be designed to quickly navigate the Microsoft based platform of the Iranian Bushehr reactor and disable it from operating, as this nation is widely believed to be using the reactor to produce uranium for their weapons program (Network Security, 2010). The stealth like nature and speed of the Stuxnet worm has also been problematic to catch even in controlled SCADA based infrastructure systems. The level of sophistication of this threat is at a level not seen before by many organizations and national security agencies (Greengard, 2010). The intent of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Break A Leg Identity A Mysterious Identity and Dark Humor Maintain Suspense in Break A Leg By: Emma Morgan Jesse Shamata s Break A Leg, which focuses on a hitman discussing his life philosophy with an unknown subject, creates and sustains suspense through the combination of a hidden identity and dark humor. Concealing the identity of the person sitting with the main character a hitman is what makes this short film particularly unique and intriguing. It s not often that a film leaves the viewer wondering who the protagonist is talking to until its last few minutes. This technique builds suspense because the viewer doesn t know what the hitman s intentions are in talking to this person, if this person will be harmed by the end of the film, or even what this person looks like. The extreme close ups of the hitman as he talks about harming people also add to this suspense because they prevent the viewer from seeing much of the hitman s surroundings at the beginning of the film. Instead, the viewer is forced to focus on the hitman s hardened appearance and his rough voice. However, there are some shots of other characters reacting to what the hitman is saying ... He relates this back to how much control people want to have in their lives and how this affects them. This sequence, in particular, utilizes a dark sense of humor. Lenin was said to be a very gifted student but extremely bossy. In 1887, Lenin s elder brother Alexander was arrested for plotting to kill the tsar of Russia which lead to his hanging. The rest of the society refused to have anything to do with Lenin s family as Alexander had brought great shame on the town. This was during the peak of Russia s Imperial period, so citizens treated the tsar as if he were a God. It is claimed that when Lenin heard about the execution, he said I ll make them pay for this. He believed that the rich should be helping the poor. This was the root of his belief that any one man making a profit was bad for society; to him production was meant for survival. Lenin says everybody in society is equal and should have equal rights. So he believed that there must be a strong central government which truly represents its people. How would Lenin bring about such a change? He followed Marx s teachings. In the second chapter of the communist manifesto headed Proletarians and Communists , Marx and Engels mention the idea of a political vanguard party that must be formed with the task of leading the proletariat in revolution. This was exactly what Vladimir Lenin did; he started a party, the Bolsheviks, which played the role of the socialist vanguard. The Bolsheviks would eventually overthrow the Tsar and promote the working class. The change in power from the bourgeoisie to the proletariat allows the full development of socialism. Lenin and Marx had the same take on the definition of socialism. They both believed that socialism is the step between capitalism and communism. Yet they had differing approaches towards this. Marx believed that there would be a capitalistic state in place before revolution forces it into socialism. This is preceded by a quick and easy jump into the true communism. The excitement grew as coaches gave last minute instructions to their players. The kick off of the 1966 World Cup, held in England, in which Germany versed England, was moments away. The whistle blew and the match was on. The first ninety minutes of the match were an exciting battle and the game ended in a 0 0 score; on to overtime! According to an article written Zoe Doherty During the final, with eleven minutes gone in extra time, Alan Ball crossed to George Hurst whose subsequent shot cannoned off the underside of the goal and down either just on or over the goal line. The goal was controversially allowed, and its validity is still questioned to this day. (Goal line technology in soccer 2010) Controversy has always played a major role in the officiating of sporting events since the official s decisions are based upon their judgments and observations. Maybe in 1966 that had to be the case, but today, thanks to modern technology, that s not so. Rather than relying solely on their personal observations to determine a call, soccer officials are now being assisted by goal line technology, a tool to assist them making their official rulings during a game. • 27. Amy Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Case Study Adolescent health has become an increasingly important focus in the last few years because health needs in this cohort have changed considerably (Sanci, Glover, Coffey, 2003). Raphael (1996) pointed towards an increasing and disproportionate rise in psychosocial problems affecting youth and Brown (2002) posits that health problems and health compromising behaviours are interrelated in this cohort. It is important to look beyond the presenting issue and assess the adolescent taking into account their developmental stage, risk and protective factors and resiliency (McNeely, Nonnemaker, Blum, 2002). An assessment for these factors must be part of the screening process to facilitate early detection and health promotion in young people (Sanci et al., 2003). An immediate at risk factor for Amy is suicide ideation. This requires careful assessment and a direct unambiguous line of questioning. • 31. Intrinsic Motivation And Student Success The United States of America is known for being a country filled with people of many different ethnic backgrounds. Likewise, the student population in schools is just as diverse as it continues to grow. Lynch (2015) notes that schools are expected to teach their students how to synthesize cultural differences into their knowledge base as this will help facilitate students personal and professional success in a diverse world (para. 8). Educators must be able to provide for the diverse needs of students and are expected to equip students with skills that can lead to healthy development as it can affect higher levels of student achievement and students have more opportunities of success in their future. Providing students with tools and skills requires an awareness and acceptance of their ethnic identity. Once students have developed self acceptance about their ethnic identity, they can begin to feel empowered and motivated to do well. Through cultural empowerment, students of color can develop intrinsic motivation and achieve academic success. Literature Review Effects of Intrinsic Motivation Intrinsic motivation is a key aspect of student success in school. Van den Broeck, Vansteenkiste, and De Witte (2013) define intrinsic motivation as, the engagement in an activity for its own sake, that is, for the satisfaction and enjoyment experienced during the course of the activity itself (p. 4). The you have to see it to believe it mentality is a major aspect as to why people have a hard time understanding mental illness, and why in turn patients with mental illness have a hard time getting the help they need. In comparing the texts, Night Rhythms and The Yellow Wallpaper, these distinct differences between physical and mental illness are highlighted. The idea of not believing in what is not tangible is shown in the beginning of Night Rhythms, in the description of the woman s husband. It says, He scoffs openly at any talk of things not to be felt and seen and put down in figures (p. ) . This is significant because mental illness cannot always be felt, seen, or put down in figures. Society is more understanding and sympathetic of physical illness than mental illness. In these two texts, the illnesses described are cerebral palsy and postpartum depression. Cystic fibrosis is a congenital disease that affects motor skills. This is a physical illness. Postpartum depression occurs after a mother delivers her baby. After delivers, the hormone levels in the mother s body drop and this combined with sleep deprivation and new stress can leave the mother feeling very down. This is a mental illness.
