Jfk and the Warren Commission
On 22 November 1963, President John F Kennedy was shot dead as he took part in a motorcade
through the streets of Dallas, Texas. Soon afterwards a man named Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested
and accused of having shot Kennedy from the sixth floor of the Texas school Depository building .
Even though Oswald refused to co operate and denied all knowledge of the assassination, he was
formerly charged the next day, on the 23 November. However, he never stood trial as just two days
later Oswald himself was shot dead by Jack Ruby, a Dallas night club owner, as he was being taken
from police headquarters to court. As Jack Ruby went to prison and the police had no longer a suspect
to question, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, set up a committee led ... Show more content on

However the events that took place afterwards, played an important part in Oswalds conviction. This
incident was another murder, this time of a policeman, Officer J D Tipppit, who was shot through the
head at point blank range. A witness, Mrs Helen Markham, stated that Tippit had stopped to question a
man who produced a gun and shot Tippit before running off. Oswald was charged for Tippit s murder
as ballistics confirmed that the spent cartridges found beside Tippit s body were of the type used in the
.38 Smith and Wesson revolver found on Oswald when he was arrested. Mrs Markham also identified
Oswald from an identity parade as the murderer. This incident indicated that Oswald was indeed
capable of murder. There also didn t appear to be any clear motive for the murder and the police
presumed that Oswald had panicked and had shot Tippit when he had stopped to question him. But
why had Oswald panicked? He may have been on edge if he had just murdered the President and
could have overreacted!
All this evidence against Oswald and the overwhelming number of eyewitnesses that had come
forward, was enough to find Oswald guilty of murder at the time. However, the Warren Commission
also investigated Oswalds background and found that he was a strange and enigmatic figure. It was
evident that he had a fairly unstable and troubled past, which to most people accounted for his
behaviour and the manner in which he had allegedly

Internal Medicine Admission Essay Sample
There are moments in life that hold you to a higher standard. Amid the practiced perfection with
which we navigate the majority of tasks, there are times that demand and draw on abilities that we
were yet to realize. It is in both music and medicine that I have discovered this challenge. My love for
internal medicine began in its consistent need for adaptability. Just as the change in one note can alter
the tone of a musical piece, similarly, one pertinent piece of information can shift the diagnosis
entirely and it is through the interpretation of these subtle clues that my interest in the diagnostic
process arose.
My preparation for any musical event always begins with emulation. I find myself listening repeatedly

My interest lies in a holistic view of the patient where I m capable of seeing them through from
beginning to end. Knowing the nuances of a patient s life has impacted my life positively and it is in
finding this human connection with them that I find joy, a gentle reminder that the science of medicine
extends beyond scaling an academic summit.
My interactions with the medical team, ancillary staff, and my patients have made me realize that I
have a disposition suited to a career in the field of Internal Medicine. Having moved 10 times by the
time I was in the 10th grade and living in India, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, I am confident
of my ability to adapt cross culturally in new and challenging environments.
In my brief experience, I have found that internal medicine is a division where the onus of moving
forward, finding the right path and pushing frontiers rests largely on you. The field requires a warm,
approachable nature, a thoughtful demeanor and an even temperament, qualities which I believe I
have. I seek to become a skillful physician and a committed educator. I aspire to surprise myself and
realize my potential. I hope to find a program that will consider me a worthy professional

The Age Of Exploration And Its Impact On The Global World
The Age of Exploration is a time when Europeans started to explore the rest of the world. Exploration
is the act of searching or traveling for the purpose of discovery. Although exploration has existed as
long as human beings, its peak is seen as being during the Age of Discovery when European
navigators traveled around the world, discovering new lands cultures. The Age of global exploration
has undeniably caused more damage than progress in our current global world. It affected every being
on earth in one way or another and will continue to influence our daily life. The Age of Exploration
was rooted in new technologies and ideas growing out of the Renaissance, these included advances in
cartography, navigation, and shipbuilding. The most important development was the invention of first
the Carrack and then caravel in Iberia. These that were a combination of traditional European and
Arab designs were the first ships that could leave the relatively passive Mediterranean and sail safely

Once there was a boy named Charles. Charles was 13 years old with dark hair and greenish blueish

One day, they decided to journey off to california for their summer vacation. Charles was not really

Intelligence Is The Mental Potential
Creativity and Intelligence, they couldn t be any more different from each other. But maybe, just
maybe could they be related in a sense? Or what does one have to do with the other? That s what I
always wondered when it came to both. In class we learned that they do met at a certain point, but
after that no such connection happens between them. Creativity is the ability to produce new and
valuable ideas; while Intelligence is the mental potential to learn from experiences, solve problems,
and use knowledge to adapt to new situations.
Intelligence certainly plays a role in creative thinking, but not to a full expectation. Your IQ is
generally gauged by the ability to interpret information and find a solution, no matter what. For
example in math and science, IQ is very important because it shows your ability to memorize concepts
and repeat similar problems. If I was to tell you two plus two equals four, you should intelligently
conclude four plus four equals twice the original number.
Of course, Intelligence only gets you so far when it comes to creativity. To be creative, you must be
able to pull existing knowledge into a new situation and quickly find potential outcomes. Being
creative isn t something you need a high IQ for. Steve Jobs once said Creativity is just connecting
things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they
didn t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That s

On June 1961, during their summit in Vienna, both leaders reached an informal agreement against
nuclear weapons testing. However the soviet union began testing weapons in September and therefore
the United States followed shortly after with their own sets of tests. Tests continued to be carried out
by both parties untill July 1963 when John F. Kennedy sent W. Averell Harriman to the U.S.S.R.

Soviet Union, and the United States were the initial signatories to a limited nuclear test ban treaty,
which effectively prohibited atomic weapon testing in the atmosphere, on the ground, and underwater,
however it did not ban underground testing. The U.S. Senate ratified this treaty and president John F.
Kennedy signed it into law in October 1963, marking another monumental achievement for the
president that did not even get to finish his first term. The passing of the nuclear test ban treaty
showed a significant amount of progress towards Kennedy s goal of a world of law and free choice,
banishing the world of war and coercion. Which lead his administration towards the beginning of a

Natural Philosophers And Religion
Natural Philosophers and Religion
In the modern period, we tend to think of science and religion as being diametrically opposed.
However, the study of science and nature, attempts to confirm the existence of God as portrayed by
various natural philosophers. This paper will discuss in detail how some of the ancient natural
philosophers used physics, chemistry (and alchemy), and biology to understand the rational design of
the world, and hence used science to prove the existence of God.
Aristotle in his history of animals uses his biological philosophy about the change to demonstrate the
existence of a Supreme Being who is immaterial. Aristotle believed that change was a natural
occurrence. He used the philosophy of form and matter to argue ... Show more content on

Descartes believed that God was every bit as certain as a mathematical formula and used mathematical
terms as analogies to communicate his arguments to others. Descartes who invented analytical
geometry, held a view that separated mind and matter and he described further expounded on the
growing rationalistic and naturalistic thinking of the 17th century. In addition, he also believed that he
was describing none other than God s laws and considered himself a good Catholic.
Robert Hook uses the principle of clock metaphors sometimes in many contexts of the mechanical
philosophy. Hook compared the theory of natural philosophy with that of the clock maker and used the
parts of a watch to demonstrate the relationship in the cause and effect in science with that of the parts
of a watch. Hook therefore, not only used this principle to illustrate the existence of God, but also his
characteristics (Morvillo,

How Is Polonius A Foil To Hamlet
Hamlet, a tragic hero whose own indecision led to the tragic end of his story. But he is not the only
one guilty of procrastination. Polonius s own circumlocution is a foil to Hamlet s indecision and lack
of action. It also adds to the overall theme of inaction of the play. It is not only because they are
similar in this respect but also that their types of delaying are different, they contrast each other.
Hamlet s postponement of action is quite obvious. Polonius s is slightly more indirect. Throughout
multiple scenes Polonius talks in a very round a bout way almost every time he speaks. Robert
Cardullo points out that in Act I Scene iii, We expect Polonius to let Laertes go after he gives him his
blessing, but father then goes on to give son, in more than twenty lines, the commandments of social
living (488). The time it takes Polonius to get to a point is one too many lines longer than every other
character. This can be likened to Hamlet s prolonged time to revenge. ... Show more content on

Granted those are quite different goals but Cardullo also comments that Polonius is also delaying
action when speaks to the other characters which emphasizes on the overall theme of inaction. By
presenting a secondary inaction that can be compared to Hamlet s inaction in turn emphasizes Hamlet
indecision on actual action. It also in a way foreshadows the end. Polonius merely has an inability to
speak eloquently and he is the first to die. Inaction and procrastination kills, and it leads to Hamlet s
death as well. But their contrasting inaction have another

Energy Detection Based Spectrum Sensing Method
In energy detector, the received signal is first filtered with a band pass filter in bandwidth to normalize
the noise variance and to limit the noise power. The output signal is then squared and integrated as
follows: for each in phase or quadrature component, a number of samples over a time interval are
squared and summed. The conventional energy detection method assumes that the primary user signal
is either absent or present and the performance degrades when the primary user is absent and then
suddenly appears during the sensing time. An adaptive method to improve the performance of Energy
detection based spectrum sensing method is proposed .In this proposal, a side detector is used which
continuously monitor the spectrum so as to improve the probability of detection. The Primary user
uses a QPSK signal with a 200 kHz band pass bandwidth (BW). The sampling frequency is 8 times
the signal BW. A 1024 point FFT is used to calculate the received signal energy. Simulation results
showed that when primary users appear during the sensing time, the conventional energy detector has
lower probability of detection as compared to the proposed detector. The performance of energy
detector is characterized by Receiver Operating curves usually. AOC (Area under the Receiver
Operating curves) is used to analyze the performance of the energy detector method over Nakagami
fading channels. Results showed that a higher value of fading parameter leads to larger average AUC,

protagonist is the leading character, hero of a drama or other literary work who involved in a conflict.
In this case, either Brutus or Caesar will be the protagonist. Brutus is a tragic hero who dies at the end
of the play. And a tragic hero is the protagonist of a tragedy. Therefore, Brutus is the real protagonist
of Julius Caesar because he is a tragic hero; he affects the plot through decision making; and he is the

Brutus makes lots of decisions for himself, the conspirators and Rome. For example, He decides to be
a proponent who against Caesar and he decides not to kill Antony and let Antony speech in Caesar s

flaws of Brutus, these decisions are the main causes of the plots in the play. For example, Brutus
insists that their armed forces leave their hilly territory where they have the military advantage, and
lead the attack on the enemy at Phillipi on level ground. The decision is disastrous and victory for the
enemy is relatively easy (Cotham). This decision is one of three bad decisions Brutus makes in the
play and a main cause of Brutus death. Brutus makes many similar decisions in the play that are the
main reasons of future events and is the trail of play, so he is the real

Environmental wackos and anti environmentalists , according to Edward O. Wilson s The Future of
Life, both have a hidden agenda. He claims that these hidden agendas are rooted in personal interest
and ideas which only benefit them and not the people, nor the environment. Through the use of
absurdity and irony with a sarcastic tone, Wilson satirizes these agendas that make the
environmentalists and people first critics unproductive. Absurdity is used throughout his work to
exhibit his claim. By explaining the true intentions of the environmentalists, he reveals that their aim
is to gain political power by expanding the government which is not what they should be doing.

Exothermic Reaction
In this report 3 fuels, ethanol, pentan 1 ol and 1 butanol were tested to determine the experimental heat
of combustion and to decide which would be the best fuel to take on a camping trip.
Combustion takes place when fuels react with oxygen to produce heat (E inst.com, 2015). The heat
created by the burning of fuel is used in the operation of equipment such as boilers and furnaces, as
well as heat being produced, when reactants undergo combustion CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O
(water) are formed as byproducts of the exothermic reaction (E inst.com, 2015).
Exothermic reactions occur when the forming of a chemical bond releases energy therefore creating an
exothermic process (Kentchemistry.com, 2015). An exothermic reaction has a negative deltaH,
because the enthalpy of the products is lower than the enthalpy of the reactants of the system
(Chemwiki.ucdavis.edu, 2015). An Endothermic reaction absorbs energy in the form of heat. In an

Qantas External Forces
2.0 External Analysis
Meanwhile the external analysis refers to the people and the process that are outside the organisation
and it most unlikely that this factor can be controlled by the organisation. External Analysis can be
assessed by using PESTEL.
Political Force:
Political force describes the impact of politics in marketing decisions. It takes into consideration the
influence of a government that may affect the business environment. This includes the business cycle
of a nation, monetary policy, fiscal policies, and trade policies. For instance in 2013 the Qantas
Airlines was severely affected by the political unrest in Thailand which in result, caused a major
concern for the organisations to generate adequate revenue in that particular region. In relation to that
situation, Qantas also didn t manage to obtain their desired target of revenue in the Middle East region
due to the political instability that most Middle East country was facing from 2003 to 2010. In nut
shell, the political factor can relentlessly affect the airline industry at a particular region because
people will normally think twice before deciding on their holiday location.
Economical Force:
Economic force refers to those forces that affect how much money people and organisation can spend
and how they choose to spend it. This force examines the economy as a broad picture and its
performance owing to the global trends. This consists of the deflation rate, and inflation rate. For

Comparison Of Ethos And Pathos In Advertising
In today s age, advertisements are found in almost every situation. These advertisements are found in a
multitude of different places, including places such as billboards, newspapers, and on the television.
Advertisements are most successful if they incorporate ethos, pathos, and logos into the message they
are trying to present. Ethos is the credibility of an advertisement, pathos is the emotional appeal of an
advertisement, and logos is the logic found in the advertisement. This paper will show the similarities
and differences in pathos, logos, and ethos found in two separate Budweiser advertisements.
Ethos, pathos, and logos are all rhetorical appeals, meaning that they are used to assist the speaker or
writer in harnessing rhetoric. Clark (2016) considers rhetoric as a tool meant for persuasion as well as
for creating effective arguments. Rhetoric became extremely popular during the golden age of Greece,
and most elite young men in Greek city states such as Athens were trained to utilize rhetoric to their
fullest abilities (Clark, 2016). Plato, an ancient Greek philosopher, believed that rhetoricians those
who used rhetoric to influence and sway opinions used rhetoric irresponsibly (Clark, 2016). Rhetoric
certainly did not die out with the passing of time and is still found in today s modern era.
Of these three appeals, pathos is the most prevalent in both advertisements. An inherent form of
pathos in the Budweiser commercial was the relationship between a puppy and

Personal Profit s Crucial Role in Defining a Human Being
Personal Profit s Crucial Role in Defining a Human Being
College. The word brings to mind the struggle of being accepted to a top tier university. The intense
competition seen in high schools around the country to earn a seat in prestigious schools can consume
student s lives to such a degree as to corrupt their sense of place. The competition drives students to
commit uncharacteristic and almost unconceivable actions. Many cheat their way into college by
manipulating affirmative action and as a result intentionally sabotage a peer s chances of succeeding.
This pursuit highlights a false sense of entitlement among students and fosters a hostile feeling toward
peers. A similar situation is seen throughout many works of literature such as Heart of Darkness, by
Joseph Conrad, where a mariner named Marlow, who uncovers the mysteries and horrors of the
African interior, seeks to meet an esteemed figure named Kurtz. When Marlow discovers Kurtz s true
nature and actions, he realizes the extreme degree of corruptness the human race possesses. In Heart
of Darkness, Joseph Conrad suggests that humans only seek personal profit, shown through character
relationships between Marlow and the African natives, the manager, and Kurtz.
Heart of Darkness depicts the corrupt nature of humanity by illustrating Africans who sold out their
own race to Europeans and enslaved them solely for the personal gain of not becoming a slave
themselves. When Conrad originally visits the Outer Station,

Women Of The United States
One must reach far back in history in order to appreciate what two women are currently undertaking in
the political arena in the United States. Presently, two women are vying for their respective political
party s nomination to become President of the United States, however in the late nineteenth century
this would have never been thought possible. Women during this era had no self representation other
than their husbands and fathers. Several generations of women who supported the suffrage movement,
fought to change the Constitution of the United States. These revolutionary women of the United
States played a monumental role in making this a reality. As a result of these women s efforts, and
many more that followed, the 19th amendment to the Constitution was ratified on August 18, 1920,
allowing women the right to vote. This amendment marks one of the most pivotal points in American
politics. In order to set the stage for the importance of women s rights during this time in history, one
must first understand the circumstances under which women lived in nineteenth century America. In
the book, Lucy Stone, Speaking Out for Equality, author Andrea Moore Kerr tells of the day Lucy
Stone was born in Massachusetts, the year was 1818. It is now known that Lucy Stone would become
a champion for the rights of women and especially women s suffrage. Hannah Stone, Lucy s mother

gang member then sees Ricky staring him down and says, Fuck you lookin at, nigga? Ricky makes the
mistake of being a tough guy and says, I m still trying to find out, then shouts, Nigga to end his

calls out to the car asking what they want, arms up in the air, saying that he is right here so as to
provoke trouble. It is this type of mentality that causes violence in the hood, and ultimately gets Ricky

Salem Witch Trial Essay
James II, had revoked the old 1628 charter, so the colony was operating without an official
government, this is one of the circumstances that the Salem community was facing at the time because
they had no structure or government/charter to proceed with the trials. This lead to the second
circumstance that was the Salem Witch Trials because innocent people were being accused and
because they didn t have no charter the accused were being tried unjustly.
The first problem the community had to fix was that of their charter because without a charter there
can t be no court. As Norton, Wilson, and Cloyce explain, William Phips and Increase Mather go to
London to ask for the new charter he created to be accepted by the new King; which is accepted
(Norton p. 11 , Wilson p. 6, Cloyce: part 1). The other circumstance was the Salem Witch Trials in
which a court was issued where the accused had trials, and where several evidence were considered to
know if the accused were guilty and if they should be hanged. All Norton, Wilson, and Cloyce, explain
how because more upper class people started to be named the judges started to question whether the
girls were telling the truth (Norton p. 11, Wilson p. 10, Cloyce: part 2). At the end, this problem was

Procrastination is Synonymous with Hesitation
Procrastination as Hesitation: A Synonymous Definition Procrastination is synonymous with
hesitation, as this is a process by which people hesitate to complete a task rather than finishing it
quickly. Some might wait until the last minute before a deadline, others may start a project and have
trouble continuing where they have left off, and others may even procrastinate to the point of never
completing a task in time. While not completing a task is not as definitive as procrastination as
hesitation since procrastinators are generally known for doing their work. Procrastination is somewhat
healthy while being unable or unwilling to complete needed jobs is inherently unhealthy. One might
also say that procrastination in necessary to make informed decisions, to prepare for a speech or
presentation that has to be delivered, or even to study for a test. The longer one waits, the more time
one has to gather additional information informally and to come into the correct mindset to do good
work. To utilize the examples above one may wait to commit to a date or social gathering due to the
possibility of other tasks that may need to be prioritized. As far as giving a presentation or speech, one
must not only know the content, he or she must also be physiologically prepared to face an audience
and this can be quite stressful. This might mean gathering the materials for the presentation more
informally yet not completing the speech preparation until right before it is given, so

During the early 1950 s, Deming was invited to Japan to aide in he recovery of Japan s economy.
Going through a period of economic hardship and declines, the Japanese Union of Scientists and
Engineers (JUSE) called on Deming s expertise. In 1980, Dr. Deming introduced 14 key factors
behind this idea of quality management. Gitlow (1994) notes the following as 14 points discussed in
Deming s work, Out of the Crisis . (see Appendix 1). After Deming s success with his Japanese
counter partners, many North American manufacturers began to focus in on the Japanese strategies.
The Japanese not only adopted Deming s ideas for manufacturing, but also expanded them to include
administrative and service industries. The implementation of quality concepts began to flourish along
with the techniques that focused in on employee motivation, measurement, and rewards (Hick, 1998).
During the eighties, quality improvement had yet again changed names and was referred to as Total
Quality Management (TQM). Hick (1998) also explains that the continuous improvement process
should be driven from the top, but implemented from the bottom (p.2). Next customer focus, which

Comparing The Behavior Of The Stuffer With Distilled Water
Part I. Comparing the behavior of the buffer with distilled water First, a pH meter was collected from
the stock room and calibrated to prepare for data collection. 25 mL of distilled, DI water was then
poured into a clean, dry 100 mL beaker and using the pH meter the pH of the DI water was measured
and recorded. The initial pH of distilled water was more basic before the addition of HCl. 1 drop of
0.50 M HCl was added to a beaker using a disposable pipette and the change in pH was recorded. The
measured pH was much more acidic after the addition of the HCl. After recording the data the solution
was thrown down the sink and a new 25 mL of DI water was placed in a clean dry 100 mL beaker. The

While it s true I had a blast using the Civic Mirror, and as much as it taught me about how Parliament
passes laws and the political process, it has some serious omissions: there is no Governor General,
there is only one level of government, and there is no Senate.
The Governor General in Canada represents the Monarch (Queen Elizabeth II) and acts as the Head of
State (the highest ranking position in a sovereign state) in Canada and abroad. This is a significant
position because it is the highest position in Canada and because it represents the Monarch, which has
the highest authority. Personally, I do not think this is a position that needs to be included in Civic
Mirror. Firstly, there is no Monarch in Civic Mirror. However, for the purpose of the game, the
Governor General could act on his own without the Monarch, but that wouldn t be as accurate to real
life. Plus, what would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Moods of Norway
Moods of Norway case indicated many interesting issues relating to brand management study. In this
paper, first, we outline two key challenges that Moods are facing, then analyze the brand based on
CBBE pyramid, and finally suggest two marketing programs that the company should invest.
1. Key challenges
The first challenge facing Moods of Norway is expanding the business to U.S. This is always a
profitable but risky opportunity for every firm, including Moods of Norway. The company with free
styling wants to just go to the U.S. and see what happens (Austin, O Donnell, and Krogh 2009, 15).
However, U.S. market one of the most difficult markets in the world has many implicit challenges for
Moods. Firstly, their brand is unknown ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although this concept is highly successful in Norway, it is very difficult to apply to other markets.
This requires Moods to develop another story to tell in US market.
Brand Judgments
Brand Judgments and Brand Feelings are both of brand responses that elicit the proper customer
responses to this brand identification and brand meaning (Keller 2008, 60). From the performance and
imagery of Moods of Norway, we know partly about the customers evaluation of the brand. Following
the Possible Measures of Brand Building Blocks that is given by Keller (2008, 75), firstly, Moods
bring good value for customers. Indeed, they not only provide the clothing products for customer, but
also provide a chance to interact with their clothes by inscribing the lore on its inside. Customers
receive more value and feel more satisfied by Moods of Norway s fun stories. Secondly, in
comparison with standardized goods, fashion collections for the winter are not the same for the
summer and its change over years continuously. Hence, customers judge the brand based on the
success of previous products, other customers and especially in designers reputation. By borrowing
associations from its high qualified designers and owners, Moods become trustworthy and credible
brand (Keller 2008, 305). People buy their products because they can trust the Moods Boys
innovativeness and uniqueness. As mentioned in the case: When customers and partner companies

Classical Theorists And Human Relations Theorists Essay
During the operation of management, structured people in one organisation coordinate with each other
to accomplish common goals. To ensure the process is efficient with scare resources, different scholars
advance different interpretations, such as Classical Theorists and Human Relations Theorists. The
most famous point of view in Classical Theorists is to manage is to forecast and plan, to organize, to
command, to co ordinate and to control, which is advanced by Fayol. It must be admitted that an
increasing number of people are concerned about the usability of the Classical Theorists. However,
whether it is suitable and widespread in daily management has caused heated debate. From my
perspective, Fayol s standpoint is certainly universal in organisations and management today and I
will discuss this in the following paragraphs.
Firstly, it is obvious that Weber, who is also pioneer of Classical Theory have advanced authority and
organisation is very essential in the society. This had close contribution to the opinion of Fayol as he
classified to organise and to control are two of the five elements of the definition of management. The
managers should build up the structure, material and human with legible control and inspection so the
activities could be operate well by independent staff (Fayol, 1916). Even managers should be selected
and trained to make precise decisions and direct the assignment of responsibilities. Similarly, Weber
(1947) claimed that authority relations

Types Of Cyber Crimes Performed Through E Mail
Introduction
The topic of discussion that was proposed by Rachid Hadjidj, Mourad Debbabi*, Hakim Lounis,
Farkhund Iqbal, Adam Szporer, Djamel Benredjem was a new technique in uncovering e mail forensic
data for use in a court of law. Different types of cyber crimes performed through e mail include
spamming, phising, drug trafficking, cyber bullying, racial vilification, child pornography, sexual
harassment, etc. Suspected e mail accounts are examined by forensic analysis and data is captured in
order to prove crimes in court. The amount of e mail cyber crimes that manifest is proof that there is a
need for a software tool that can be an all encompassing e mail analyzer in order to capture the needed
forensic data. The writers propose ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One limitation is that there is no message encryption at the sender end and/or an integrity check for
the recipient to identify if the sender is trustworthy. The second limitation is that Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP) does not have source authentication and header metadata can be easily modified to
hide who is sending the e mail. For these reasons forensic analysts need a tool that can identify people
who are sending e mails when messages may be anonymously sent and contain malicious intent.
Cyber forensic investigation with respect to e mails is the collection of credible evidence through
analyzing e mail collections to prosecute criminals. Analytics should include keyword searches,
authorship attribution, and computing statistics. The writers of the article have combined social
network analysis with these analytics to create a tool that can track who might be accomplices to
malicious e mailing. Their framework is titled Integrated E mail Forensic Analysis Framework
(IEFAF). With traditional authorship attribution, the writing style of a person is examined by using an
entire collection of e mails without regards to whom they are written. Further more stylometric
features are assumed consistent and not controlled by the writer. The writers of the article have
proposed that there could be variation in writing style of e mails dependent upon certain context,
recipient, and even time of day. Their proposed approach for authorship

Bomb Calorimeter Experiment
Discussion:
As can be seen in graph 1 that is above, the results in the graph indicates that the practical was
inaccurate. This is because that there was a great amount difference between the true nutritional value
of the three foods in the practical, then the actual calculated energy value from all the class results.
The energy in the true nutritional value on each of the food packets were in the thousands per 100g
compared to the class energy, as they were in the hundreds.
Accuracy:
From all the analysation of results for the three foods that was tested in the practical, it was easy to say
that the results were not accurate. As seen in the graph 1 above, the true value for popcorn is 1910kJ,
cheese and bacon is 2270kJ and macadamia is 3040kJ. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bomb calorimeter is a device that measures the amount of heat that flows in a chemical reaction. How
the bomb calorimeter works is that the food space gets filled with oxygen, the water space fascinates
the heat released by the food, then the thermometer measures the water temperature as it gets
increased and the ignition wire burns the food inside the bomb calorimeter. The bomb calorimeter
prevents heat loss because of the air space and the insulating jacket (McGraw Hill, 2016). By using a
bomb calorimeter the errors of heat loss would not have occurred because a bomb calorimeter reduces
all errors like systematic and random.
Diagram 1 Diagram of the bomb calorimeter
Conclusion:
The prediction which was believed that the class average energy for popcorn, cheese and bacon balls
and macadamia will not match the true nutritional value which proved to be true and was supported.
Analysing all the systematic and random errors that occurred in this practical, it shows that it made a
huge difference in the final results between the class average and the true value. So that makes this
practical inaccurate and completely unreliable proves the prediction correct.
Safety:
Safety glasses must be worn at all times to prevent any damage to the eyes because the practical
involves fire and hot water.
Apron must be worn at all times to prevent any spills of liquid onto

The Impact Of Hate Crimes In America
Over the years, America has been prone to this violent act of hate crime that puts its citizens in a
situation of distressed and confusion. Hate crimes have been a part of America s history and culture
for decades. Because America is a diverse country, the level of hate crimes is outrageous in many
different levels due to different cultures, ethnicities, skin colors, and religions. Hate crime is a serious
act and has influenced our society today to look at certain people a different way. It is not an act that
people are born with rather than they are taught by it or it was inherited within a particular social
group. With the election of President Trump in 2016, hate crime activities have really increased in just
a year s matter. President Donald Trump plays a role in really highlighting these hate crimes and
almost making it seem like he is promoting hate crimes though many of his speeches and statements.
Of the many factors that contribute to the highly increasing hate crime activities, there are four factors
that I believe are contributing to the increasing hate crime activities. Those four factors are thrill
seeking, retaliation, mission offenders, and the income inequality. These factors all have a part into
why hate crime activities are increasing over the year. There are many different hate crimes in
America. Hate crimes are considered as criminal offenses and depending on which state this criminal
offense has been committed, they have their own laws to rule over it. According to Jack Leven and
Jack McDevitt, in their article Hate Crimes, they explained, ..the vast majority of hate crime laws do
not criminalize any new behavior; instead, they increase the penalty for behaviors that are already
against the law (Leven McDevitt, 2011). This is something that has been reviewed and updated over
the years. As many new behaviors to hate crime activity surface, those crimes will eventually fall
under some old laws but the penalty of it will eventually increase. This hate crime activity includes
any acts that involve with any negative attitudes or prejudice toward anyone because of their race,
religion, ethnicity, or gender. It often leads to people being bias and showing a tremendous amount of

Particles In Atoms Research Paper
Particles in Atoms
The following section will be describing the atom and all of the particles that make it up. It will start
off with what protons, neutrons, and electrons are. This will describe where they are in the atom and
what their relative sizes respective one another are. This section will end off with the charges of all of
these particles and the total number of all of these particles for every element inside of the carbon
family. The entire section will be based off of the particles that make up an atom and more details
about them such as their location.
The atom, which is the basic unit of life, is made up different types of particles which are protons,
neutrons, and electrons. The proton is a stable subatomic particle that is located in the nucleus of an
atom. A neutron is quite similar to a proton in the sense that they are both subatomic particles of very
similar masses and almost always located in the nucleus. Neutrons are found in the nucleus most of
the time except for in ordinary hydrogen which does not contain any. An electron is also a stable
subatomic particle but it is found in the shells or orbitals which surround the nucleus of an atom. As
for the size of these particles protons and neutrons are roughly the same size in mass, with the proton

Does The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas And How Does It...
One of the most prevalent unanswered questions that readers have about The Ones Who Walk Away
from Omelas is where is the place that those who walk away are going to (Scoville 2016). In the story,
the narrator themselves cannot even perceive this place. They leave Omelas, they walk ahead into the
darkness, and they do not come back. The place they go towards is a place even less imaginable to
most of us than the city of happiness. I cannot describe it at all. It is possible that it does not exist. But
they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas (LeGuin 8). LeGuin
states that those who leave the town of Omelas walk ahead into the darkness (8), which further
conveys how unfathomable this unknown place is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is so thin there are no calves to its legs; its belly protrudes; it lives on a half bowl of corn meal and
grease a day. It is naked. Its buttocks and thighs are a mass of festered sores, as it sits in its own
excrement continually. They all know it is there, all the people of Omelas (LeGuin 7). It is revealed to
readers that all of the citizens of Omelas know of this child being stored in a murky dirty cellar. Due to
this fact and how the people of Omelas do nothing to help the child verifies the existence of evil in the
new story world the narrator has crafted (Posella 3). Additionally, this is an unmistakable act of evil
and selfishness made by the people of Omelas to let such a horrid event occur, the suffering of one
child for the happiness of all, which is the devil s bargain in this story (Scoville 2016). Thus, the main
inquiry concerning this is why must the town of Omelas be built this way. One reason that the narrator
abandons an ideal perfect story world and goes into one full of evil instead is due to the notion that
evil is interesting to individuals and that readers want to hear about such brutality like a child be
inhumanely treated (Scoville 2016). However, this idea is overly generalized and does not apply to
everyone (Posella 3). Another reason may be that, in relation to real life, even though the world may
seem perfect, people still suffer. While the majority are aware of this, they still continue on with their
lives as long as they

  • 2. Jfk and the Warren Commission On 22 November 1963, President John F Kennedy was shot dead as he took part in a motorcade through the streets of Dallas, Texas. Soon afterwards a man named Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested and accused of having shot Kennedy from the sixth floor of the Texas school Depository building . Even though Oswald refused to co operate and denied all knowledge of the assassination, he was formerly charged the next day, on the 23 November. However, he never stood trial as just two days later Oswald himself was shot dead by Jack Ruby, a Dallas night club owner, as he was being taken from police headquarters to court. As Jack Ruby went to prison and the police had no longer a suspect to question, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, set up a committee led ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However the events that took place afterwards, played an important part in Oswalds conviction. This incident was another murder, this time of a policeman, Officer J D Tipppit, who was shot through the head at point blank range. A witness, Mrs Helen Markham, stated that Tippit had stopped to question a man who produced a gun and shot Tippit before running off. Oswald was charged for Tippit s murder as ballistics confirmed that the spent cartridges found beside Tippit s body were of the type used in the .38 Smith and Wesson revolver found on Oswald when he was arrested. Mrs Markham also identified Oswald from an identity parade as the murderer. This incident indicated that Oswald was indeed capable of murder. There also didn t appear to be any clear motive for the murder and the police presumed that Oswald had panicked and had shot Tippit when he had stopped to question him. But why had Oswald panicked? He may have been on edge if he had just murdered the President and could have overreacted! All this evidence against Oswald and the overwhelming number of eyewitnesses that had come forward, was enough to find Oswald guilty of murder at the time. However, the Warren Commission also investigated Oswalds background and found that he was a strange and enigmatic figure. Or what does one have to do with the other? That s what I always wondered when it came to both. In class we learned that they do met at a certain point, but after that no such connection happens between them. Creativity is the ability to produce new and valuable ideas; while Intelligence is the mental potential to learn from experiences, solve problems, and use knowledge to adapt to new situations. Intelligence certainly plays a role in creative thinking, but not to a full expectation. Your IQ is generally gauged by the ability to interpret information and find a solution, no matter what. For example in math and science, IQ is very important because it shows your ability to memorize concepts and repeat similar problems. If I was to tell you two plus two equals four, you should intelligently conclude four plus four equals twice the original number. Of course, Intelligence only gets you so far when it comes to creativity. To be creative, you must be able to pull existing knowledge into a new situation and quickly find potential outcomes. Being creative isn t something you need a high IQ for. Steve Jobs once said Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That s ... Polonius s own circumlocution is a foil to Hamlet s indecision and lack of action. It also adds to the overall theme of inaction of the play. It is not only because they are similar in this respect but also that their types of delaying are different, they contrast each other. Hamlet s postponement of action is quite obvious. Polonius s is slightly more indirect. Throughout multiple scenes Polonius talks in a very round a bout way almost every time he speaks. Robert Cardullo points out that in Act I Scene iii, We expect Polonius to let Laertes go after he gives him his blessing, but father then goes on to give son, in more than twenty lines, the commandments of social living (488). Energy Detection Based Spectrum Sensing Method In energy detector, the received signal is first filtered with a band pass filter in bandwidth to normalize the noise variance and to limit the noise power. The output signal is then squared and integrated as follows: for each in phase or quadrature component, a number of samples over a time interval are squared and summed. The conventional energy detection method assumes that the primary user signal is either absent or present and the performance degrades when the primary user is absent and then suddenly appears during the sensing time. An adaptive method to improve the performance of Energy detection based spectrum sensing method is proposed .In this proposal, a side detector is used which continuously monitor the spectrum so as to improve the probability of detection. The Primary user uses a QPSK signal with a 200 kHz band pass bandwidth (BW). The sampling frequency is 8 times the signal BW. A 1024 point FFT is used to calculate the received signal energy. Simulation results showed that when primary users appear during the sensing time, the conventional energy detector has lower probability of detection as compared to the proposed detector. The performance of energy detector is characterized by Receiver Operating curves usually. Exothermic Reaction In this report 3 fuels, ethanol, pentan 1 ol and 1 butanol were tested to determine the experimental heat of combustion and to decide which would be the best fuel to take on a camping trip. Combustion takes place when fuels react with oxygen to produce heat (E inst.com, 2015). The heat created by the burning of fuel is used in the operation of equipment such as boilers and furnaces, as well as heat being produced, when reactants undergo combustion CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O (water) are formed as byproducts of the exothermic reaction (E inst.com, 2015). Exothermic reactions occur when the forming of a chemical bond releases energy therefore creating an exothermic process (Kentchemistry.com, 2015). An exothermic reaction has a negative deltaH, because the enthalpy of the products is lower than the enthalpy of the reactants of the system (Chemwiki.ucdavis.edu, 2015). An Endothermic reaction absorbs energy in the form of heat. In an endothermic reaction deltaH is positive because the enthalpy of the products is higher than the enthalpy of the reactants in the system (Chemwiki.ucdavis.edu, 2015). This paper will show the similarities and differences in pathos, logos, and ethos found in two separate Budweiser advertisements. Ethos, pathos, and logos are all rhetorical appeals, meaning that they are used to assist the speaker or writer in harnessing rhetoric. Clark (2016) considers rhetoric as a tool meant for persuasion as well as for creating effective arguments. Rhetoric became extremely popular during the golden age of Greece, and most elite young men in Greek city states such as Athens were trained to utilize rhetoric to their fullest abilities (Clark, 2016). Plato, an ancient Greek philosopher, believed that rhetoricians those who used rhetoric to influence and sway opinions used rhetoric irresponsibly (Clark, 2016). Rhetoric certainly did not die out with the passing of time and is still found in today s modern era. Of these three appeals, pathos is the most prevalent in both advertisements. An inherent form of pathos in the Budweiser commercial was the relationship between a puppy and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 25. Personal Profit s Crucial Role in Defining a Human Being Personal Profit s Crucial Role in Defining a Human Being College. The word brings to mind the struggle of being accepted to a top tier university. The intense competition seen in high schools around the country to earn a seat in prestigious schools can consume student s lives to such a degree as to corrupt their sense of place. The competition drives students to commit uncharacteristic and almost unconceivable actions. Many cheat their way into college by manipulating affirmative action and as a result intentionally sabotage a peer s chances of succeeding. This pursuit highlights a false sense of entitlement among students and fosters a hostile feeling toward peers. A similar situation is seen throughout many works of literature such as Heart of Darkness, by Joseph Conrad, where a mariner named Marlow, who uncovers the mysteries and horrors of the African interior, seeks to meet an esteemed figure named Kurtz. When Marlow discovers Kurtz s true nature and actions, he realizes the extreme degree of corruptness the human race possesses. In Heart of Darkness, Joseph Conrad suggests that humans only seek personal profit, shown through character relationships between Marlow and the African natives, the manager, and Kurtz. Heart of Darkness depicts the corrupt nature of humanity by illustrating Africans who sold out their own race to Europeans and enslaved them solely for the personal gain of not becoming a slave themselves. When Conrad originally visits the Outer Station, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 26. Women Of The United States One must reach far back in history in order to appreciate what two women are currently undertaking in the political arena in the United States. Presently, two women are vying for their respective political party s nomination to become President of the United States, however in the late nineteenth century this would have never been thought possible. Women during this era had no self representation other than their husbands and fathers. Several generations of women who supported the suffrage movement, fought to change the Constitution of the United States. These revolutionary women of the United States played a monumental role in making this a reality. As a result of these women s efforts, and many more that followed, the 19th amendment to the Constitution was ratified on August 18, 1920, allowing women the right to vote. This amendment marks one of the most pivotal points in American politics. In order to set the stage for the importance of women s rights during this time in history, one must first understand the circumstances under which women lived in nineteenth century America. In the book, Lucy Stone, Speaking Out for Equality, author Andrea Moore Kerr tells of the day Lucy Stone was born in Massachusetts, the year was 1818. Salem Witch Trial Essay James II, had revoked the old 1628 charter, so the colony was operating without an official government, this is one of the circumstances that the Salem community was facing at the time because they had no structure or government/charter to proceed with the trials. This lead to the second circumstance that was the Salem Witch Trials because innocent people were being accused and because they didn t have no charter the accused were being tried unjustly. The first problem the community had to fix was that of their charter because without a charter there can t be no court. Procrastination is Synonymous with Hesitation Procrastination as Hesitation: A Synonymous Definition Procrastination is synonymous with hesitation, as this is a process by which people hesitate to complete a task rather than finishing it quickly. Some might wait until the last minute before a deadline, others may start a project and have trouble continuing where they have left off, and others may even procrastinate to the point of never completing a task in time. While not completing a task is not as definitive as procrastination as hesitation since procrastinators are generally known for doing their work. Procrastination is somewhat healthy while being unable or unwilling to complete needed jobs is inherently unhealthy. One might also say that procrastination in necessary to make informed decisions, to prepare for a speech or presentation that has to be delivered, or even to study for a test. The longer one waits, the more time one has to gather additional information informally and to come into the correct mindset to do good work. To utilize the examples above one may wait to commit to a date or social gathering due to the possibility of other tasks that may need to be prioritized. As far as giving a presentation or speech, one must not only know the content, he or she must also be physiologically prepared to face an audience and this can be quite stressful. The Governor General in Canada represents the Monarch (Queen Elizabeth II) and acts as the Head of State (the highest ranking position in a sovereign state) in Canada and abroad. This is a significant position because it is the highest position in Canada and because it represents the Monarch, which has the highest authority. Personally, I do not think this is a position that needs to be included in Civic Mirror. Firstly, there is no Monarch in Civic Mirror. From the performance and imagery of Moods of Norway, we know partly about the customers evaluation of the brand. Indeed, they not only provide the clothing products for customer, but also provide a chance to interact with their clothes by inscribing the lore on its inside. Customers receive more value and feel more satisfied by Moods of Norway s fun stories. Secondly, in comparison with standardized goods, fashion collections for the winter are not the same for the summer and its change over years continuously. Hence, customers judge the brand based on the success of previous products, other customers and especially in designers reputation. By borrowing associations from its high qualified designers and owners, Moods become trustworthy and credible brand (Keller 2008, 305). To ensure the process is efficient with scare resources, different scholars advance different interpretations, such as Classical Theorists and Human Relations Theorists. The most famous point of view in Classical Theorists is to manage is to forecast and plan, to organize, to command, to co ordinate and to control, which is advanced by Fayol. It must be admitted that an increasing number of people are concerned about the usability of the Classical Theorists. However, whether it is suitable and widespread in daily management has caused heated debate. From my perspective, Fayol s standpoint is certainly universal in organisations and management today and I will discuss this in the following paragraphs. Firstly, it is obvious that Weber, who is also pioneer of Classical Theory have advanced authority and organisation is very essential in the society. This had close contribution to the opinion of Fayol as he classified to organise and to control are two of the five elements of the definition of management. The managers should build up the structure, material and human with legible control and inspection so the activities could be operate well by independent staff (Fayol, 1916). Different types of cyber crimes performed through e mail include spamming, phising, drug trafficking, cyber bullying, racial vilification, child pornography, sexual harassment, etc. Suspected e mail accounts are examined by forensic analysis and data is captured in order to prove crimes in court. The second limitation is that Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) does not have source authentication and header metadata can be easily modified to hide who is sending the e mail. For these reasons forensic analysts need a tool that can identify people who are sending e mails when messages may be anonymously sent and contain malicious intent. Cyber forensic investigation with respect to e mails is the collection of credible evidence through analyzing e mail collections to prosecute criminals. How the bomb calorimeter works is that the food space gets filled with oxygen, the water space fascinates the heat released by the food, then the thermometer measures the water temperature as it gets increased and the ignition wire burns the food inside the bomb calorimeter. The bomb calorimeter prevents heat loss because of the air space and the insulating jacket (McGraw Hill, 2016). Hate crimes have been a part of America s history and culture for decades. Because America is a diverse country, the level of hate crimes is outrageous in many different levels due to different cultures, ethnicities, skin colors, and religions. Hate crime is a serious act and has influenced our society today to look at certain people a different way. It is not an act that people are born with rather than they are taught by it or it was inherited within a particular social group. With the election of President Trump in 2016, hate crime activities have really increased in just a year s matter. President Donald Trump plays a role in really highlighting these hate crimes and almost making it seem like he is promoting hate crimes though many of his speeches and statements. Of the many factors that contribute to the highly increasing hate crime activities, there are four factors that I believe are contributing to the increasing hate crime activities. Those four factors are thrill seeking, retaliation, mission offenders, and the income inequality. These factors all have a part into why hate crime activities are increasing over the year. There are many different hate crimes in America. Hate crimes are considered as criminal offenses and depending on which state this criminal offense has been committed, they have their own laws to rule over it. It will start off with what protons, neutrons, and electrons are. This will describe where they are in the atom and what their relative sizes respective one another are. This section will end off with the charges of all of these particles and the total number of all of these particles for every element inside of the carbon family. The entire section will be based off of the particles that make up an atom and more details about them such as their location. The atom, which is the basic unit of life, is made up different types of particles which are protons, neutrons, and electrons. The proton is a stable subatomic particle that is located in the nucleus of an atom. A neutron is quite similar to a proton in the sense that they are both subatomic particles of very similar masses and almost always located in the nucleus. Neutrons are found in the nucleus most of the time except for in ordinary hydrogen which does not contain any. An electron is also a stable subatomic particle but it is found in the shells or orbitals which surround the nucleus of an atom. As for the size of these particles protons and neutrons are roughly the same size in mass, with the proton being slightly lighter, while an electron weighs about two thousand times less than protons and neutrons. Both the protons and neutrons make up most of the of the mass of the atom in the nucleus while the electrons on the outskirts are much lighter and smaller. It is revealed to readers that all of the citizens of Omelas know of this child being stored in a murky dirty cellar. Due to this fact and how the people of Omelas do nothing to help the child verifies the existence of evil in the new story world the narrator has crafted (Posella 3). Additionally, this is an unmistakable act of evil and selfishness made by the people of Omelas to let such a horrid event occur, the suffering of one child for the happiness of all, which is the devil s bargain in this story (Scoville 2016). Thus, the main inquiry concerning this is why must the town of Omelas be built this way. One reason that the narrator abandons an ideal perfect story world and goes into one full of evil instead is due to the notion that evil is interesting to individuals and that readers want to hear about such brutality like a child be inhumanely treated (Scoville 2016). However, this idea is overly generalized and does not apply to everyone (Posella 3). Another reason may be that, in relation to real life, even though the world may seem perfect, people still suffer.
