Pros And Cons Of Absolute Monarchy
Absolute Monarchy is a flawed system, in which a monarch has total power over their people. An
example of absolute monarchy from the past is Louis XVI and an example in current times is Pope
Francis in Vatican City. There are pros and cons to this system just as there is with any government
system, but most people agree would that there generally are more cons then pros with this system.
Absolute monarchy is when one ruler has total rule over their country, an example of how flawed this
system is, is Louis XVI with France. Some countries still run under absolute monarchy, including
Vatican City and Saudi Arabia. Vatican City is the last country left in Europe that hasn t eradicated
absolute monarchy. Having just one person in control of the country can cause serious damage if
someone with very specific views gets into office. this problem can happen with most forms of
government, but under other forms of government there is a constitution or checks and balances to
make sure that no one is receiving too much power. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He then became King only 9 years later at age 20. He tried to be a good king but was overrun with
debt and power. One of his most popular quotes that depicts how in control a monarch under absolute
monarchy is L Etat, c est moi. , I am the state . To most that would be inferred as, there is no one
above me, I can do whatever I want. The War of The Spanish Succession was the longest war fought
under his ruling lasting 13 years. This war nearly defeated France and would have made the country
go into bankruptcy. When Louis XVI was executed in 1793, he was highly disliked in his own

Persuasive Speech On Deer Stalking
As the morning dew starts to fade, you crawl into position, above a mossy rock, the herd one hundred
yards below. Your guide hands you the rifle, spots the desired beast, a large stag too old to maintain a
healthy, happy life. And gives you a quiet comment of encouragement: You mess this up and you ll be
dinner in a broad highland accent, morphed by the routine dram. You warily place the crosshairs over
the beast s chest, breathe... the crack fills the air, silence. The thrill of the hunt is what interests most
deer stalkers but I believe deer stalking is a valuable asset to not only Scotland s economy and
tourism, but also to protecting the landscape and the animals wellbeing. The landscape of Scotland is
under threat due to the over population of deer, this is due to them having no predators, thanks to Sir
Ewen Cameron of Lochiel and his ilk, who shot the last wild living wolf in Great Britain in 1680.
Since then entire glens have been eaten bare. The over grazing of young trees is a real issue as they are
essential for other species to thrive; everything in the ecosystem needs to be balanced. Forests aren t
allowed to grow as the saplings are eaten before they can grow to a few centimetres height, Forests are

the equivalent of 2520 paid full time jobs and the value of these jobs for the Scottish economy is

Control of Health Care in the United States Essay
CONTROL OF HEALTH CARE IN THE UNITED STATES KWAME OFORI WALDEN
UNIVERSITY Control of Health Care in the United States We don t have just a single body which
takes charge of healthiness in this country. Both physicians as well as insurance firms get a ridiculous
amount of incomes from consumers. The government control to some extend through the financing of
Medicare and Medicaid but relies on the private sector for the provision of services (Shi, L., amp;

The health care system that was geared towards what patients needed has now shifted to an
organization care system. The health care structure has not only undergone extreme modifications
between two periods but also endures to develop. According to Dranove (2000), greater portion of the
past customary U. S. health care structure had these defining character: patients had to rely on
physicians to act as their negotiators, they got healthy from independent nonprofit facilities and patient
did not have to mediate in medicinal pronouncement creating and refunded medical doctors, health
care facilities, and other workers on a payment for service grounds. All these have changed. Insights

Ultimate Reality Vs Western Religion
Extended response:
How is Ultimate Reality viewed differently from and Eastern and Western Perspective?
Ultimate Reality in religion is viewed differently when comparing Eastern to Western beliefs, but
there are some similarities: both want to achieve something in the afterlife.
In Western religions such as Catholicism and Islam, the belief of Ultimate Reality is that there is a
God and he is transcendent and monotheistic.. In addition, there is also the belief of an evil existence
or commonly known as the devil . In the extract from the Catholic Bible, it states No one has seen
God and that in him was life, and the life was the light of the men, which indicates their God is
powerful enough and on another level compared to themselves

Affirmative Action Plan.
Affirmative Action Plan
Affirmative action is a plan to promote the efforts of employers, schools and other organizations to
recruit and hire groups that have previously been discriminated against. It is important to note that
affirmative action programs do not require employers to hire unqualified people for a job. Equal
employment opportunity is used to describe policies that prohibit discrimination of any kind.
Affirmative action is a program that analyses the make up of the current workforce, establishes
guidelines to insure an employer is not underutilizing certain groups and identifies and removes
barriers for employment. Equal employment is the legislation that provides the oversight and
investigates any allegations of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is important to tie the affirmative action objectives to an individual s performance and part of the
review process. This will ensure adherence.
6. The communication plan is another crucial part of the program and involves many steps. Employers
should get the word out that they are an equal opportunity employer. Communicating this message is
great publicity. Unless it is communicated effectively no one will know.
Communications must be used to promote implementation internally. Posters can be put up throughout
the facility or special edition newsletters to create enthusiasm for the program. The next level of
communication is to go out into the communities by placing advertisements in local papers, talks with
the local officials to gain support. Perhaps by establishing an arrangement to get applicant referrals
through various state agencies, college placement offices and labor organizations perspective
employees can be canvassed.
Develop the appropriate communication strategies to target the right candidates for openings. If
women are being sought after, then perhaps placing advertisements in a journal or periodical that has a
higher female readership.
Provide written notification of company affirmative action policy to subcontractors, vendors and
suppliers and make sure that the company is partnering with the right mix. Today it is very important
to align with other organizations that are minority owned.

Charles Lindbergh Sparknotes
Lindbergh Charles A. Lindbergh was one of the greatest men in aviation history. Lindbergh was
always an very out going person. He believed that he was always doing what was best for aviation no
matter who he insulted or who he went against. He was a brave man that would often push the limits
of his body, technology, and his planes. His goal was to advance aviation. This man did what ever it
took because he believed in something greater than himself. The book CHARLES A. LINDBERGH
LONE EAGLE gives a very detail description of his life and it helps show how he wanted to advance
aviation even if it meant risking his own life. He went to the university of Wisconsin to study
mechanical engineering, which he was fascinated with. He was always ... Show more content on

He saw how advanced Germany was so he wanted the US not to enter WW2 but then people in the US
tried to accuse him of being Communist. After the US was bombed he then returned to the US and
tried to join the Air force but they wouldn t allow him. So henry ford called him and fond away for
him to be able to fly planes and fight as a civilian with out people knowing. After the war he mainly
just taught people how to fly and tried to advance aviation. As an older man he went away from flying
and he became and environmentalist and a wildlife preservationist. He died while with his wife at his
home and is now berried in Hawaii. Mr. Lindbergh was a hero, as I believe. A hero can mean many
different things. Many people can look at someone and say that man is a villain or the man is a hero
because they don t have the whole story and they just jump on the bandwagon. Lindberg was a hero
for aviation. He may of not been a US hero but that was not the most important thing to him. His goal
was always to advance aviation and to make it more popular. So by that mean he was truly a hero for
Aviation. He helped put aviation on the map and he always tried to push the limits. Many believed he
was a villain because he fled the US and lived in a foreign country. Several reasons people believed he
was a villain were because he toured Nazi air craft, and saw their facilities. He was also awarded a
medal from the Nazis for his advancements and help in aviation.

Sebastiao Salgado s Photography
Many photographers use their photographic skills to achieve certain and specific goals or for clients.
But Sebastiao Salgado is a photographer who uses his talents as an artist to bring light to subjects that
are often overlooked in an effort to help raise awareness. He works hard to capture the right image to

book about the photography of Sebastiao Salgado really captures exactly what he was trying to do and
how he uses photography to achieve that goal. By his work being displayed in many galleries all over

The uses of perspective in James Joyce s story, Araby , focuses on the narrator s point of view. In the
story, we know the narrator is nameless; also we get to know his ambition and the goals as well as his
lifestyle. In Araby , we understand the daily lives of Dubliners, and how it all connects their ability to
love another. Actually, the love of this story is an escape in the daily life of Dubliners. The narrator
was captivated by Mangan s sister, however, it is because he was tied up in the thoughts of new
experiences, he also does not understand what he feels for Mangan s sister. He thinks of himself like a

1. Specify the objectives of the research A clear statement of objectives that helps one to develop in
effective research is very important. This step helps the decision makers to evaluate their project
efficiently. It is very critical that one need to have manageable objectives.
2. Review the context of the research problem One must think carefully and focus on the teamwork.
This helps the researcher to determine the findings of their project and it will produce enough
information to be worth the cost. One has to identify the environmental variables through which it will
affect the research project.

Research actually begins when a research problem is formulated by the researcher. It makes the
researchers well aware of the tasks that they are going to perform for their respective project to
accomplish the required results or outcomes. Research is a process that needs to be completed by
following a sequence of steps. The research problems play an important role in formulating these
sequential steps. It also helps them in avoiding the use of unnecessary steps during the research.

The Political Economy Of Communication
The political economy of communication is using political economy approach to analyse the media
and communication. Therefore, before discuss the political economy of communication we need to
figure out what is political economy and what is communication. The definition of political economy
is not simple. This essay uses the definitions given by Vincent Mosco and explores its origin in Greek
and inspiration from the Classical Political Economy. Apart from the Classical Political Economy, this
essay also describes other forms of this approach, such as Critical Political Economy and Neoclassical
Political Economy. Latter the characteristics of political economy study are also discussed based on
Vincent Mosco s work in the 1990s.
The part of communication starts by defining the concept of communication in a political economic
way. To understand deeply the political economy of communication, it is necessary compare it with
culture studies, so this part also explains the similarities and differences between this two studies.
Finally the public television is used as an example to describe the peculiarities of the media and the
political economy of the media.
What is political economy?
At the beginning, the political economy has is origin in Greek. The word economics is composed of
oikos and noms which mean house and law (Mosco, 2009). Therefore, economics is the management
of the household (Mosco, 2009). Political has its origin of polos which means city state

Rogers seems therefore to be describing an emotional consequence resulting from what the
behaviourist BF Skinner called positive and negative conditioning. He conceptualised Conditions of
Worth as the limited ways in which a person could see him or herself as being valued. The formulation
was also influenced by psychoanalyst Erik Erikson and his ideas of the early stages of development.
Rogers asserted that the child who learns trust and a sense of personal control are more likely to have
a sense of self agency and robustness in the face of later difficulties. This comes about when conflicts
find a successful resolution leaving both parties emotionally respected and intact. Thus Rogers more
developed model of how a child is socially instructed can encompass concepts such as shame
(Psychoanalysis), Modelling (Albert Bandura) and ideas of Internalization, amongst many others, and
as such is more of a meta model of growth of the personality.

Examples Of Jason In Medea
Not a Goal Worth Fighting For
Jason the Argonaut displays many of the same traits in both Euripides Medea and in the tale of the
quest for the Golden Fleece. We first meet Jason as he is forced to go on a long arduous quest to
reclaim the kingdom that, by his birthright, should have already been his. During this quest, Jason
ventures out to rob a nation of its greatest treasure and uses Medea along the way to achieve his goal.
In Medea, Jason takes another bride even though he is already married to Medea, fails to protect
Medea against exile, and even places the blame for the banishment on her. The methods Jason used to

his kingdom, he is sent on a quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece and earn his throne. Because of his
strong desire to reclaim his father s kingdom, he gathers the greatest heroes of Greece and sets sail on
an unimaginable journey. This same desire led him to rob a foreign nation of the Golden Fleece, and to
use the woman who fell in love with him to complete his tasks and kill his enemies. Jason used Medea

Wassily Kandinsky Research Paper
Research Paper: Wassily Kandinsky
Shelby Steinbach
Des Moines Area Community College
April 2017
Wassily Kandinsky has been part of my fascination and love for art for approximately ten years now.
Beginning when I was a freshman in high school, and every year as part of our art classes, my
instructor would do small units on art theory and highlight artists throughout those units, Kandinsky
included. While my talents, in particular, are somewhat limited to what I can represent, Kandinsky
was the first to break Western art s most important rule: that art need to depict anything (Frank, 396).
As the first to break away from art being representational, Kandinsky opened other avenues of
expression, as well (Wassily Kandinsky.org). Surrealism, the movement I am most fascinated by, is
something I believe is a natural extension from art representing nothing, to art representing multiple
things. Der Blaue Reiter, painted in 1903 is important for several reasons. Leaning more towards
Impressionism, it is one of the more famous paintings from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

also specifies that anyone who tries to kill, hunt, pursue, or capture a manatee would have serious
repercussions. Even with all these laws there is still a growing number of manatee deaths throughout
the state. When manatees were put on the endangered species list in 1973 they were also put under the
protection of the endangered species organization. This organization has enforced four laws so far to
protect manatees from future harm (Swart). This entitles the manatee population to a number of new
laws and requirements put on the state of Florida to protect them . For manatees this included new
speed zones for boats and different water pollution regulations put into place at all bays where
manatees are known to be. These things caused the number of injured manatees to go down for a few

Oil Palm And Palm Oil
Since its establishment in the beginning of twentieth century, oil palm plantation management has
evolved rapidly in terms of efficiency and productivity. Oil palm is a versatile plant that almost every
single part of it proven to be useful (Figure 1). Oil palm produced two types of oil: palm oil and palm
kernel oil. They are both extracted from mesocarp and the seed or kernel (hard shell mesocarp) by
delicate separation at certain phases in palm oil factory/milling processes (Basiron 2007). The two oils
have different uses for different market niches. While palm oil is mainly used as food material, palm
kernel oil is usually used as raw material in oleochemical industry such as detergents, toiletry, and
cosmetics products. Therefore, almost 50% of products that can be found in the supermarket contains
oil palm and its derivative (WWF 2009) Figure 1. The versatility of oil palm. Apart from the produced

maintains homeostasis in the body by continuing the processes of the vital body systems. An example
of this could be; eating. Regulatory behaviour occurs in a person s everyday life without them noticing
that it happens. Non regulatory behaviour, on the other hand is not controlled by a homeostatic
mechanism in the hypothalamus but rather in the orbitofrontal cortex. Example of non regulatory
behaviour include; parenting, aggression and social behaviour. (Swartz, L. et al, 2011)
The orbitofrontal cortex is a part of the brain that is located superiorly to the eye socket and inferiorly
to the frontal lobe. Part of its function is that it is involved in the regulation of reward orientated
behaviour, inhibiting unwanted behaviour as well as being involved with emotions and decision
making (Swartz, L et al, 2011).
The orbitofrontal cortex is greatly associated with social behaviour. With reference to (Beer, J. S. et
al), there are two theories that are coherent social short comings associated with the orbitofrontal
cortex. These are one, deficient emotional systems and two, self monitoring . Deficient emotional
systems or the lack of behavioural monitoring can be characterized by the somatic marker hypothesis .
This theory suggests that the orbitofrontal cortex is an imperative part

A Worn Path By Eudora Welty Analysis
A Worn Path Eudora Welty
This story is about perseverance no matter how hard things may be. A worn path is a story about an
African American woman, Mrs. Jackson, who makes a hard trip into town to get medication for her
sick grandson. This story is very relatable for me personally because I have always had to dig deep
and push though tough situations to achieve my goals. Mrs. Jackson s main goal was to get medication
for her grandson to make him healthy again. This story shows that is you care about someone or
something enough then you will do anything for them. Mrs. Jackson reminds me a lot of my Nana
because she is a strong woman that would literally do anything for me. She has taught me that life is
about enjoying the little things in life, like the paper windmill. Phoenix Jackson didn t have the cream
of the crop, but she did her best to provide for her family. For most people in the world today things
are very easy, but that doesn t mean that the struggles are not real for others.

THE WORKPLACE Violence is defined as any act or attempt by a person to harm another that would

worker and their family are treated seriously. When the employer becomes aware of a threat it is their
duty to notify the employee and if they are not aware, to contact the police or other authorities
responsible for protecting the public. If the employer is not able to notify the worker, a family member
must be contacted so that the necessary precautions can be taken. The employer and family members
are required to cooperate during the investigation. These measures must be included in all workplace

Pros And Cons Of Anti Political Dynasty In The Philippines
6
Balbacal, Mikaella C.
P1B
Anti political dynasty
Political dynasty is a well known method of politicians in the Philippines wherein the members of the
family is made also a member of the government in order for them to not lose power but to gain more
power. This act is an unfair and unjust because the government is not a business that a family can run
by themselves, but the government is for all and other people should be given chances wherein they
can be the one that leads a community. The government or politics is not a business that can be run by
the generation and the generation of a family, the government is a critical part of a community having
different leaders in every generation and not only one leader that has his or her family in the position
of the government, because the system will not change it will just go on and on and that is not a good
thing. People need different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They would want to dominate the society and because of that attitude, it will lead to the fall of the
society and its people. House Bill 3587 or the act prohibiting the Establishment of Political Dynasties
seeks to prohibit relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity to hold or run for both national
and local office in Successive, simultaneous, or overlapping term. The quote Successive,
simultaneous, or overlapping term , means that you cannot run as a politician if a member of your
family or relative is still in the politics. An anti dynasty law would likely have a naturally gradual
impact, given staggered voting in the Senate, varying terms, the probable re election of many
incumbents, etc. This bill brings potential about real reform. The families that have been voted over
and over again would abuse the people, because they have their trust and would make use of it to

Examples Of Oppression In Their Eyes Were Watching God
In 1791, Thomas Paine wrote the book Rights of Man, in which he expresses his thoughts on the unity
of the American people. Walter Russell, however, claims America has always been a division of man.
There has always been the conqueror and conquered the master and the slave the ruler and the ruled
the oppressor and the oppressed. There has never been content nor unity. There has been only
discontent and disunity . While in the United States there are people similar to Paine who strive for
freedom and diversity, there are also those, as Walter Russell illustrates, who promote racism,
violence, and disunity. Thomas Paine s viewpoint is mostly inaccurate because while there are times
of peace, justice, and concord, there are far greater instances of oppression, privilege, and riots in
America. Two examples of oppression in the America are illustrated in the novel, Their Eyes Were
Watching God, written by Zora Neale Hurston. In the novel, Janie, a black woman living in the post
civil war South, is oppressed by her husband, Logan Killicks. After Janie refuses to help him with the
farm work, he yells at her, Ah ll take holt uh dat ax and come in dere and kill yuh! You better dry up in
dere! Ah m too honest and hard workin for anybody in yo family, dat s de reason you don t want me!

Speech About A Mermaid
Here s my side of the story, to all of you who were wondering. I swear I m not a villain or whatever
they call it these days. I used to be a normal girl just like her, beautiful locks of hair that flowed
perfectly under the water, I had these eyes that glowed and sparkled just like the way the sun sparkles
through the water. Not to brag, but I was pure perfection; until, a new little mermaid was born and
started to grow up to be everything but a crawfish. I grew strong with envy and jealously, then I began
to wonder for help. I came across this myth that said this powerful sea creature could turn me more
beautiful than the sunset, so I took up the offer. Let s just keep this scenario short and say that the
creature was real and the creature was a very good liar. Well, you guys all know how I ended up
looking... like the mean ole purple witch. I can see where I went wrong, and became extremely selfish,
I left a detail out though, I was an incredible singer and so was the little mermaid. She stole the lead
signer spot from me in the annual Under the Sea Show and this spot was suppose to get me into the
University of Starfish, well she got it instead. That s why my voice sounds the way it does, the evil set
monster stripped every good thing I had. Now that you know the truth about what really went down in
the year days, but storyteller have a way of switching things around making someones who s innocent

Prayer in Public School Essay
In the heart of every religion, there is a way to express one s deepest thoughts and feelings prayer.
Prayer is something that most people due naturally. Whether it is in the morning before you start your

prayer is always there. Religious faiths believe that this is central to human life. Even those who are

Students are also free to organize Bible study and other religious interest clubs if any other secular
clubs are allowed. Religious clubs must be given the same access to the schools facilities. Group
meetings also must be voluntary and student initiated. Students can also engage in a moment of
silence during which they can pray, meditate, plan their day, or engage in any other silent mental
activity (Religioustolerance). Religious freedom is one of the most important traditions and
constitutional rights that we as Americans have.
Throughout the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s public education across the United States continued to
include considerable religious context. In colonial New England the earliest standard text was the New
England Primer, which taught younger children to read and count using biblical references: The letter
A was taught with the phrase In Adam s Fall we sinned all, and P was illustrated with Peter denies His
Lord and cries (Andryszewski 13 14). Beginning around 1913 and continuing through the first half of
the twentieth century, state governments across the country decided to standardize and write into law
the practice of Bible reading and prayer in their states public schools. By mid century, nearly all of the
states permitted some form of Bible reading or formal prayer in public schools. By the 1950 s school
prayer was commonly practiced

Summary Of Hispanics And The American Dream
In Linda Chavez s, Hispanics and the American Dream she starts by showing the growth of Hispanics
in America and how they are depicted. She sees them as a valuable part of society that is steadily
climbing to new heights on the socioeconomic ladder, yet the population perceives them to be the
lower end and will likely remain that way. She goes on to prove this assumption by the way Hispanics
are shown in the media, which states that poor and Hispanic goes hand in hand when thought of. What
is failed to be seen is that most Hispanics are steadily in the middle class, but this varies within the
group just as it does with all races. The analysts take into consideration the immigrants who have just
entered America, legal or illegal, which in turn causes the balance to shift towards the poor side of the
spectrum. Our overall perception of Hispanics plays a role in their place in society. Linda illustrates
how the way we view Hispanics is what holds them back from fully growing in our society. This is
mainly done through discrimination that withholds them from attaining jobs or opportunities that halts
their overall progression up the ladder. The U.S. census and many other federal agencies confirms that
the Hispanic race, much like any other race, works had to make a decent living and support their
families. This depicts Hispanics as a race that shares a common norm of all others, yet is still treated
as if they are the bottom rung of society. This is actually not the case when

Julius Caesar Is To Blame
Julius Caesar is a leader who rose to power due to the fact of the counsel and the senate never meeting
eye to eye.The reason to why there was a senate and counsel was to create a new government so a
single ruler like the Tarquins wouldn t occur again.Julius Caesar was a part of a triumvirate but Caesar
became a dictator. The Senate disliked him since they didn t know how long he would rule and the fear
of him being corrupted which lead to the death of Julius Caesar.Shakespeare wrote Julius Caesar
based on the life of Julius Caesar to show how being ambitious can lead to one s death. The Senate
became conspirators who believed that Caesar being in power would lead to corruption and an
oppressive leader and government like the Tarquins so they planned to kill him .Cassius,Brutus,Casca
and etc were involved in the death of Caesar.Although some may say that Brutus is to be blamed for
the death of Caesar since because Caesar let go when Brutus came due to the betrayal of their
relationship and doubting Caesar s ability to rule Rome, ultimately Caesar is to blame because he is

What Are The Best Policies The United States Should Implement
What are the best policies the United States should implement to solve the illegal immigration
problem? Immigration is an important implication throughout the United States as a whole. This topic
drafts many opinions, both positive and negative. The media uses propaganda to put blame on the
immigrants for taking American jobs, or not being allowed to live in our country legally. Others give a
more welcoming view to them, that they re welcome to come to our country and they have a chance to
restart their life. An estimated 12 million plus undocumented (illegal) immigrants currently reside in
this country.

There are approximately 3.7 million unlawful immigrant households in the U.S. These households
impose a net fiscal burden of around $54.5 billion per year. The final disagreement exclaimed by
many Americans, is the free education that illegal immigrants are getting for coming to the United
States. Most schools will give millions of dollars of loans to illegal immigrants. The Supreme Court
case Plyler vs Doe was held in June of 1982. This Court case was about public education for
immigrant students. The Supreme Court ruled 5 4 that the Board could not deny the immigrants an
education. Plylers Equal access to education for children regardless of status.
Immigrants will take our jobs and lower our wages, and create less jobs for the working Americans.
Immigrants are usually brought closer to regions that have a big supply and demand such as farms and
factories in big agriculture countries. The south has a lot of farms for immigrants to get jobs on and
supply for their families. These are jobs Americans in our society don t like to do. On top of this,
undocumented immigrants will accept a job for lower wages
than the Americans and can be paid under the table . They will do the dirty jobs for less than minimum
wage to support their families. Another argument is how immigrants overuse welfare in this country.
All unauthorized immigrants don t have legal access to the welfare reforms. But immigrants make a
large contribution to Medicare and Social Security when

Different Types Of Wines By Ernest Hemingway Essay
Ernest Hemingway once said, Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the
most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater
range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing. More simply and
literally put, wine is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of grapes. Wine making and
drinking dates to thousands and thousands of years ago. In fact, the earliest record of vinification, or
wine making, is placed in the Bible in Genesis 9:20 21 where it states that Noah planted a vineyard
and drank wine produced from it around 4100 B.C. Over the years, people have experimented making
different types of wines with different kinds of grapes, which have been split into 4 categories. These
categories are Wild Vine, Indistinct Vitis Vinifera, Distinct Vitis Vinifera and Hybrids. These different
types of wines have been divided into 5 different classifications which are Table Wine, Sparkling
Wine, Dessert Wine, Fortified Wine and Aromatized Wine. Concurrently, these different wines are
made in several different locations around the world. The top producing wine country is Italy with the
United States falling not too far behind in 4th place. The wine that I will be focusing on in this paper
is Syrah while the location is Santa Barbara, California. I will also speak about Syrah in relation to
Santa Barbara and its significance on the region.

Compare And Contrast Jefferson And New Jersey Plan
Both Hamilton and Jefferson worked alongside George Washington during his presidency. Hamilton
was appointed the first Secretary of Treasurer and Jefferson was the first Secretary of State. Jefferson
was the older man of the two with twelve years being born on 1743, in Virgina to a wealthy family,
while Hamilton was born on 1755 in the West Indies to a poor family. Jefferson had the best education
the colonies could offer due to his family s status as wealthy planters and slave owners giving
Jefferson plenty of opportunities to be successful himself. Hamilton had a different route due to his
poor family and mothers death and fathers abandonment of the family. Hamilton received his

Jefferson believes the constitution protected the right of the people and for independence both
Hamilton and Jefferson had opposing views. Jefferson argues that independence comes from land
ownership and if all the people can have an agrarian lifestyle. The idea mostly comes from how he
was born into a rich family and his father and himself were planters. Therefore he believed that if the
people are living fine independent lives where members of society can make their own food and live
on their own property the country as a collective will be independent as well. Hamilton disagreed and
believed the opposite that if the nation is independent than the people will have independence. For this
belief he wanted to start trade with other countries and in order to do that he thought America had to
start manufacturing and creating its own goods to trade with other countries. Hamilton s point is
stating how if the society wants people to make products that can be traded with other countries, then
it can open job opportunities for the citizens. Therefore the country will have independence by
creating their own goods for profit and the people will have independence by finding a job and being
able to pay for their food leading to their independence. Jefferson argued against this stating that if we
got to war with the countries that were trading with what happens then. Later on, after Hamilton s
death and during Jefferson s

  • 2. Pros And Cons Of Absolute Monarchy Absolute Monarchy is a flawed system, in which a monarch has total power over their people. An example of absolute monarchy from the past is Louis XVI and an example in current times is Pope Francis in Vatican City. There are pros and cons to this system just as there is with any government system, but most people agree would that there generally are more cons then pros with this system. Absolute monarchy is when one ruler has total rule over their country, an example of how flawed this system is, is Louis XVI with France. Some countries still run under absolute monarchy, including Vatican City and Saudi Arabia. Vatican City is the last country left in Europe that hasn t eradicated absolute monarchy. Having just one person in control of the country can cause serious damage if someone with very specific views gets into office. this problem can happen with most forms of government, but under other forms of government there is a constitution or checks and balances to make sure that no one is receiving too much power. ... One of his most popular quotes that depicts how in control a monarch under absolute monarchy is L Etat, c est moi. , I am the state . • 3. Persuasive Speech On Deer Stalking As the morning dew starts to fade, you crawl into position, above a mossy rock, the herd one hundred yards below. Your guide hands you the rifle, spots the desired beast, a large stag too old to maintain a healthy, happy life. And gives you a quiet comment of encouragement: You mess this up and you ll be dinner in a broad highland accent, morphed by the routine dram. You warily place the crosshairs over the beast s chest, breathe... the crack fills the air, silence. The thrill of the hunt is what interests most deer stalkers but I believe deer stalking is a valuable asset to not only Scotland s economy and tourism, but also to protecting the landscape and the animals wellbeing. The landscape of Scotland is under threat due to the over population of deer, this is due to them having no predators, thanks to Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel and his ilk, who shot the last wild living wolf in Great Britain in 1680. Since then entire glens have been eaten bare. The over grazing of young trees is a real issue as they are essential for other species to thrive; everything in the ecosystem needs to be balanced. Forests aren t allowed to grow as the saplings are eaten before they can grow to a few centimetres height, Forests are home to a lot of species of birds and small animals. Deer are ... Control of Health Care in the United States Essay CONTROL OF HEALTH CARE IN THE UNITED STATES KWAME OFORI WALDEN UNIVERSITY Control of Health Care in the United States We don t have just a single body which takes charge of healthiness in this country. Both physicians as well as insurance firms get a ridiculous amount of incomes from consumers. The government control to some extend through the financing of Medicare and Medicaid but relies on the private sector for the provision of services (Shi, L., amp; Singh, 2010).All arguments on finding solutions to insurance problems enthuses unlimited urge. The health care structure has not only undergone extreme modifications between two periods but also endures to develop. According to Dranove (2000), greater portion of the past customary U. Ultimate Reality in religion is viewed differently when comparing Eastern to Western beliefs, but there are some similarities: both want to achieve something in the afterlife. In Western religions such as Catholicism and Islam, the belief of Ultimate Reality is that there is a God and he is transcendent and monotheistic.. In addition, there is also the belief of an evil existence or commonly known as the devil . He died while with his wife at his home and is now berried in Hawaii. Mr. Lindbergh was a hero, as I believe. A hero can mean many different things. Many people can look at someone and say that man is a villain or the man is a hero because they don t have the whole story and they just jump on the bandwagon. Lindberg was a hero for aviation. He may of not been a US hero but that was not the most important thing to him. His goal was always to advance aviation and to make it more popular. So by that mean he was truly a hero for Aviation. He helped put aviation on the map and he always tried to push the limits. Many believed he was a villain because he fled the US and lived in a foreign country. Several reasons people believed he was a villain were because he toured Nazi air craft, and saw their facilities. Beginning when I was a freshman in high school, and every year as part of our art classes, my instructor would do small units on art theory and highlight artists throughout those units, Kandinsky included. While my talents, in particular, are somewhat limited to what I can represent, Kandinsky was the first to break Western art s most important rule: that art need to depict anything (Frank, 396). As the first to break away from art being representational, Kandinsky opened other avenues of expression, as well (Wassily Kandinsky.org). Surrealism, the movement I am most fascinated by, is something I believe is a natural extension from art representing nothing, to art representing multiple things. • 21. The Orbitofrontal Cortex and Social Behaviors Within the realm if biological psychology, there are two known types of behaviour. One being regulatory and the other, non regulatory. Regulatory behaviour is controlled by the hypothalamus and maintains homeostasis in the body by continuing the processes of the vital body systems. An example of this could be; eating. Regulatory behaviour occurs in a person s everyday life without them noticing that it happens. Non regulatory behaviour, on the other hand is not controlled by a homeostatic mechanism in the hypothalamus but rather in the orbitofrontal cortex. Example of non regulatory behaviour include; parenting, aggression and social behaviour. (Swartz, L. et al, 2011) The orbitofrontal cortex is a part of the brain that is located superiorly to the eye socket and inferiorly to the frontal lobe. Part of its function is that it is involved in the regulation of reward orientated behaviour, inhibiting unwanted behaviour as well as being involved with emotions and decision making (Swartz, L et al, 2011). The orbitofrontal cortex is greatly associated with social behaviour. With reference to (Beer, J. She sees them as a valuable part of society that is steadily climbing to new heights on the socioeconomic ladder, yet the population perceives them to be the lower end and will likely remain that way. She goes on to prove this assumption by the way Hispanics are shown in the media, which states that poor and Hispanic goes hand in hand when thought of. What is failed to be seen is that most Hispanics are steadily in the middle class, but this varies within the group just as it does with all races. The analysts take into consideration the immigrants who have just entered America, legal or illegal, which in turn causes the balance to shift towards the poor side of the spectrum. Our overall perception of Hispanics plays a role in their place in society. Linda illustrates how the way we view Hispanics is what holds them back from fully growing in our society. This is mainly done through discrimination that withholds them from attaining jobs or opportunities that halts their overall progression up the ladder. The U.S. census and many other federal agencies confirms that the Hispanic race, much like any other race, works had to make a decent living and support their families. • 33. What Are The Best Policies The United States Should Implement What are the best policies the United States should implement to solve the illegal immigration problem? Immigration is an important implication throughout the United States as a whole. This topic drafts many opinions, both positive and negative. The media uses propaganda to put blame on the immigrants for taking American jobs, or not being allowed to live in our country legally. Others give a more welcoming view to them, that they re welcome to come to our country and they have a chance to restart their life. An estimated 12 million plus undocumented (illegal) immigrants currently reside in this country. Those who desire hardline approach, want higher security and vetting off possible immigrants. There are approximately 3.7 million unlawful immigrant households in the U.S. These households impose a net fiscal burden of around $54.5 billion per year. The final disagreement exclaimed by many Americans, is the free education that illegal immigrants are getting for coming to the United States. Most schools will give millions of dollars of loans to illegal immigrants. The Supreme Court case Plyler vs Doe was held in June of 1982. This Court case was about public education for immigrant students. The Supreme Court ruled 5 4 that the Board could not deny the immigrants an education. Plylers Equal access to education for children regardless of status. Immigrants will take our jobs and lower our wages, and create less jobs for the working Americans. Immigrants are usually brought closer to regions that have a big supply and demand such as farms and factories in big agriculture countries. The south has a lot of farms for immigrants to get jobs on and supply for their families. These are jobs Americans in our society don t like to do. On top of this, undocumented immigrants will accept a job for lower wages than the Americans and can be paid under the table . They will do the dirty jobs for less than minimum wage to support their families. Another argument is how immigrants overuse welfare in this country. All unauthorized immigrants don t have legal access to the welfare reforms. But immigrants make a large contribution to Medicare and Social Security when ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Different Types Of Wines By Ernest Hemingway Essay Ernest Hemingway once said, Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing. More simply and literally put, wine is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of grapes. Wine making and drinking dates to thousands and thousands of years ago. In fact, the earliest record of vinification, or wine making, is placed in the Bible in Genesis 9:20 21 where it states that Noah planted a vineyard and drank wine produced from it around 4100 B.C. Over the years, people have experimented making different types of wines with different kinds of grapes, which have been split into 4 categories. These categories are Wild Vine, Indistinct Vitis Vinifera, Distinct Vitis Vinifera and Hybrids. These different types of wines have been divided into 5 different classifications which are Table Wine, Sparkling Wine, Dessert Wine, Fortified Wine and Aromatized Wine. Concurrently, these different wines are made in several different locations around the world. The top producing wine country is Italy with the United States falling not too far behind in 4th place. The wine that I will be focusing on in this paper is Syrah while the location is Santa Barbara, California. I will also speak about Syrah in relation to Santa Barbara and its significance on the region. Syrah s place of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Jefferson had the best education the colonies could offer due to his family s status as wealthy planters and slave owners giving Jefferson plenty of opportunities to be successful himself. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Jefferson believes the constitution protected the right of the people and for independence both Hamilton and Jefferson had opposing views. Jefferson argues that independence comes from land ownership and if all the people can have an agrarian lifestyle. The idea mostly comes from how he was born into a rich family and his father and himself were planters. Therefore he believed that if the people are living fine independent lives where members of society can make their own food and live on their own property the country as a collective will be independent as well. Hamilton disagreed and believed the opposite that if the nation is independent than the people will have independence. For this belief he wanted to start trade with other countries and in order to do that he thought America had to start manufacturing and creating its own goods to trade with other countries. Hamilton s point is stating how if the society wants people to make products that can be traded with other countries, then it can open job opportunities for the citizens. Therefore the country will have independence by creating their own goods for profit and the people will have independence by finding a job and being able to pay for their food leading to their independence. Jefferson argued against this stating that if we got to war with the countries that were trading with what happens then. Later on, after Hamilton s death and during Jefferson s ...
