2. Initial Reaction
• I like the animations I have made, the pixel art design looks good and I
am improving in the movements of them.
• Even though I am improving, I need to improve more on the
movements as it is a very important area for my final game.
• By sticking to my pixel art design, the walking cycle will be more
difficult as my design doesn’t have much leg. I may have to change my
design a bit just so I am able to do the running cycle properly.
• By making these experiments, I have ideas in my head of what I want
to do as my final video game.
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Something that consistently comes up in my mood board is colour. There’s a heavy
mix of every single colour in my mood board and I will mimic that in my game,
making a colourful and good looking game.
• There’s also a similarity in every game on my mood board. They all show full court
games as part of their game. This is something I won’t do and will try to be
different to other existing products
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board shows different types of games and the colours that the sport
involves. This has let me know that colour is a very important area to make a good
game. Every kit has a different colour and if I am doing a game which has two
different teams, then the audience will also consist of those two colours.

will have to create the music and sound
effects. Once all of this is done I will put
all of the different sections together in
Premier to make my full game

5 Evaluation ď‚· In my evaluation, the most important
area to concentrate on is what areas I
like and what areas I need to improve
on next time. It allows me to see what I
can do better, and so next time I do
something like this, I’ll know what I
need to do.
