I wantthemto come awayfeelingwowedby
whattheywatch. I wantto add some comedyin
there to lightenthe moodsotheyshouldn’tcome
away feelingtoodepressed. Inreality,Ijustwant
people tocome awayhavingenjoyedwhatthey
justwatched. The whole pointof filmisto
entertainpeople,andthat’smygoal.Leaving
people bored ispossiblythe worstthingIcould
do.
Describe the tone/mood/style of yourproject

For a lot of it I wantto create tensionandkeep
people onthe edge.Thiswill be done mostlyby
my use of sound.Using musicor nomusiccan
make people thinksomethingisgoingtohappen,
as well asothersoundeffectslike creaking
floorboards.Everynow andthenthough,Iwant
to breakthe tensionwithsome comedy. Most
studentfilmswillbe serious,so Iwant mine to
standout. Comedyisdifficultatthislevel and
hard to do,so if I do it well,thenmyfilmcan
standout and be differentfromthe rest.
Why have youdecidedtomake yourprojectin
thisstyle?
Thisis the style Iwork withbest,where alotof
the work isdone inpost. Of course, I will have a
lotto do for filmingbutinpostmore will be done
than inthe average shortfilm. EditingiswhatI
enjoytodo, sothere will be plentyof itwhichwill
be a massive partinmakingmyfinal project
