Action
A game that would be easy to understand
and play. It would have to be centred around
a sport that everyone is familiar with e.g.
football. The game would have to make sure
not to include any official team names or
players to avoid copyright.
A game that would catch the
audiences attention. It would also
have to be interactive in order to

would include jump scares, loud

will also include a variety of different
characters with different interactions.
Horror
The game would have to be
intriguing and also engage with
my intended audience. It will have
to include things they like in order
to keep them entertained, I could
do this through research.
MIND MAP
Final Idea
Colours: I plan to use dark
colours (+ shades) to show my
intended audience what my game
is about/what genre it is. I could
also use light colours when
something scary happens, to
make the game look more
effective.
Music/Sound: I plan to use eerie
music to create suspense within
my game. I will also use sudden
sound effects as a sort of jump
scare for the audience. When
something is about to happen I
will make it so that the music will
gradually get louder until the
certain something happens.
Characters: I plan on having just
one main character in the game,
but there will be side characters
that the main interacts with. I will
add a bar along the bottom of
the game when ether someone
speaks, this will help to make the
game look more professional and
will make the audience engage
more.
Background: I plan to use a dark
background to help create the eerie
atmosphere that a horror game has. I
also want the background to be
impactful for my audience. In order to
find out what my audience prefers, I
could do a form of survey.
MOOD BOARD ANALYSIS
Is there any repetition in the images you have
collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
oYes, there is a repetition of dark colours as well as similar art
styles. The styles being related to pixel art. I plan on
incorporating these images into my own game to create a good
horror game that will entertain and engage my audience.
How will your mood board influence your final
product?
oMy mood board will influence my product because I like the
form of art style they used to create their characters and I plan
to use the same form of art style in my own game. I will change
how the characters look however to avoid any copyright. The
use of dark colours and tone set the mood for a horror game
