Initial Reaction • My initial reaction after going through the PowerPoint slide was that I wanted to make a sports game. The first sport that came to mind was football, because it’s easily my favourite sport. • The reason I believe football was my initial plan is because my favourite game is FIFA 18, the worlds biggest football video game. I also believe it was my first idea because I have a very good insight on the sport itself, so I would be able to apply all the rules to my game and hopefully even some of the biggest players from the real game. • Although my initial reaction was to make a football game, this could consist of several games as there is millions of football games across the internet. I could play it safe and make a 5-a-side game, I could a make set piece game or even a game where you compete to do the most kick-ups! It may be a very wise idea to chose football as it gives you many different options to chose from when making your game also.

Mood Board Analysis Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood • There is lots of colours running through my mood board and almost all of them are bright and vibrant colours. This could indicate that my game is very exciting and joyful. • My mood board also includes lots of sports images, which clearly indicates that my game is sports related, most specifically football. • Finally, my game also includes several gaming console logos, such as PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Hopefully this indicates that intend to include my game on these 3 consoles. How will your mood board influence your final product? • In the process of creating my game, I will check the images I have included in my mood board and try and apply it into my game. • An example of this would be by applying a stadium behind my game, as I have included several pictures of fans and sports stadiums in my mood board. • My mood board is very important because if I can’t remember what needs applying I can use my mood board to help me.

  • 2. Initial Reaction • My initial reaction after going through the PowerPoint slide was that I wanted to make a sports game. The first sport that came to mind was football, because it’s easily my favourite sport. • The reason I believe football was my initial plan is because my favourite game is FIFA 18, the worlds biggest football video game. I also believe it was my first idea because I have a very good insight on the sport itself, so I would be able to apply all the rules to my game and hopefully even some of the biggest players from the real game. • Although my initial reaction was to make a football game, this could consist of several games as there is millions of football games across the internet. I could play it safe and make a 5-a-side game, I could a make set piece game or even a game where you compete to do the most kick-ups! It may be a very wise idea to chose football as it gives you many different options to chose from when making your game also.
  • 6. Mood Board Analysis Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood • There is lots of colours running through my mood board and almost all of them are bright and vibrant colours. This could indicate that my game is very exciting and joyful. • My mood board also includes lots of sports images, which clearly indicates that my game is sports related, most specifically football. • Finally, my game also includes several gaming console logos, such as PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Hopefully this indicates that intend to include my game on these 3 consoles. How will your mood board influence your final product? • In the process of creating my game, I will check the images I have included in my mood board and try and apply it into my game. • An example of this would be by applying a stadium behind my game, as I have included several pictures of fans and sports stadiums in my mood board. • My mood board is very important because if I can’t remember what needs applying I can use my mood board to help me.
