Initial Plans
Josh Bailey
Initial Reaction
• My initial reaction to this project was excitement; I believed
working on a video game would be fun and a change of pace
from previous projects however after producing my
experiments I know now how frustrating and time consuming
it is. Fortunately I have learned from my mistakes and now
know the best ways to continue my work more efficiently than
before.
• Therefore, i wanted to plan my pre production thoroughly and
make sure that i had enough time to create what i wanted to
and write up all my work as good as it can be.

Mood Board
Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Repetition of the arcade like intro menu is there to give me
inspiration to come up with my opening menu; this is the first thing
the player sees when loading up a game and needs to be iconic and
memorable
• I have also found and used multiple images of items from games this
will help me decide on which sort of items I want to see in my own
game
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• With the help of my mood board I gain countless ideas I could put
my own twist on and incorporate into my game. Elements such as
the protagonist, the enemies, UI, NPCs and gameplay will all be
unique and made by me
