Initial Reaction
• In my opinion I think that my first initial reaction was that I was mostly worried
about doing video games only because I'm not a big fan of games and I definitely
don’t have a lot of experience with different games and animation before
therefore I didn’t know what to expect. Leading on from this I have used
Photoshop a lot throughout this course therefore I knew how to do the basics
involving different layers and how to create a simple timeline however I would not
say that I am confident with it. I think that I want to do a sort of endless runner
style of game where the background is constantly moving and changing and the
player has to keep up with it, I think I want to include a fashion/ clothing theme
into my game as I want it to be enjoyable to me and I don’t want to make it about
something that I don’t like.

Mood Board
Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
In some of the images that I have chosen for my mood board I think there is a lot of repetition in the
images for example in a lot of the outfit changing games they are very girly and aimed more so towards
girl with a lot of pink and bright colours and clothing pieces, the games also give you the options instead
of letting the player actually design them yourself. In all the images there are a lot of bright colours and
very attention grabbing parts especially as I think that all these games are aimed more so towards a
younger audience. All the games and images here have a very positive vibe that sets off a more fun and
younger mood especially for the audience.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• In my opinion I think that a lot of factors will help and influence towards my final product for
example I think that in my final game I will use the same objective as I will make a certain amount
of options for the player to choose from instead of them just creating is as I feel that it will appeal
to my audience more if I gave them already made options. I think I will also use a lot of the same
colour schemes as I think that these let of a very positive and feel good vibe therefore I will use a
lot of the bright colours in my own game to promote this. I think doing this mood board was helpful
as it gave me a lot of inspiration for when it comes to making my own final product.
